We visited Clark’s Shopping Village today and went into Frankie & Benny’s for lunch. We had 5 adults and a 1yr old. We ordered 4 main courses and three starters to have as a main course. We were asked if we would like the starters as a main and we said yes. The starters arrived but none of the other food did. We were told they were just waiting for the chicken and the other meals would be out. We looked at the pass and could see a main meal there that was the same as one of the ones we had ordered, but we assumed that was for another table. 15mins or so passed and the main meal was still there. They then put the rest of our meals up and bought all of the meals to the table. We queried the meal that had been sat on the pass for ages. They apologised and said they would take it back. Under 2mins later they arrived with what they told us was a new meal. We queried it again and we’re assured they had done us a fresh one. The meal was for my 74 year old mum, she assured us the meal was fine, but she does not like to make a fuss so we were not sure. Mum only ate half the meal, as she was worried it was still the same meal and we have a 2 hour drive home. My hubby tried her meal and he is convinced they just gave her back the same meal, as it came out far too quickly. They reduced our bill but the looks we were getting from the staff were not good. Why did they not just bring us the meal when it was ready as we already had one meal

Excellent service I have coeliac disease and struggled to find a site in the Clark's Village that could accommodate for me to eat. After declaring my requirements, the chef and waitress worked to adapt a meal so I could eat more than just fruit! I had beef brisket on GF toast, and had a lovely breakfast. It was nice to feel catered to and listened to, and their kindness made a difficult diagnosis a little easier this morning. Many thanks again, and shot out to Dani for her amazing service!

Delicious food to eat and would recommend eating here for a place to eat in Clarks Village. I would like to mention Kieran the waiter who was very polite and pleasant gave good customer service

We visited whilst staying in the area we visited on a Friday evening and booked a table online for 6.30pm. The service was good and both my boyfriend and I had the same double burger with double cheese and double bacon which was amazing we couldn’t finish it all. We were allowed time to let our dinner go down and we finished with New York baked vanilla cheesecake. Top tip, sign up to their newsletter for 20% off your meal which needs to be used within 30 days. We used ours on the same day and if you don’t want to keep the newsletter coming to your inbox you can cancel it but at least you got a discount on your meal.

My husband and I were having a very stressful time as we were in Somerset due to my father being extremely ill. We needed to go somewhere for food and a bit of time to ourselves to allow some stress relief. The staff were very friendly, the food was gorgeous and served warm. We had arrived quite late and ended up being the last people there but were made very welcome. Very appreciative of their friendliness and food as it really helped us.

We popped in on a Sunday after some shopping. Coffee shops in the area were packed, no tables & busy but we needed a respite after some shopping with our 11 month old baby. We stood at the door waiting to be seated which felt like an eternity. When we got in with our baby who was sleeping in the pram we were told that there was nowhere to pop the pram while he was sleeping but he could be popped in a highchair no problem at all. No checking how old he was etc (he was under his rain over not visible) what if I needed to breastfeed once he woke up? Or if he was a newborn & the parents just wanted a bite to eat? There was adequate space for a pushchair, fancy turning away a family with a sleeping child. While I completely understand that you don’t wish to place a child next to friends / couples dining out it’s a little unfair to turn away people on the basis of what are your restaurant regulations or whatever you want to call it & do what’s morally right surely? Anyway the host was lucky our child decided to wake up at that moment because we were about to walk away considering the rather unwelcome greeting. We were hungry. Once we were seated it was all great from there. They managed to get a £50 lunch out of us! Myself & my partner had black & blue burgers which were cooked lovely & came out within 10 mins of ordering. Our waitress was really lovely & very friendly toward us & smiley at our baby. Our baby had fish goujons with veggies & fruit/chocolate pot for dessert. He thoroughly enjoyed it. The highchair was a bit low for such a small baby so would be better if they got some with trays to avoid mess / help out baby eat & be more supported but he was excited either way. The high hairs were definitely more suitable to toddlers as opposed to infants. Generally a friendly service once we were there & felt full / satisfied so thank you to the lovely waitress for changing our experience. Just a quick fyi to the restaurant in general - not all babies are loud / cry. If your younger clientele aren’t happy with children in the middle of the day then maybe they shouldn’t be popping into a family restaurant?

We popped in after shopping at Street outlet and did not fancy breakfast menu so our server was Dani who explained that if she got us drinks and the dinner menu we could look for 20 minutes then dinner began at 12 so we did wow. Dani went that extra mile due to my son and his milk allergies went off and got the iPad with all the food allergies on it , then also checked with chefs to make sure my son was ok with the hot dog. Great food service food was hot and was nice thank you.

Visiting Clarks village you need sustenance . This is the place . Next to the main carpark and from 10 am offers a substantial breakfast . The calories are over 1600 for the large breakfast so you may not need to eat again

Was stood at front desk waiting for somebody to come over and show us a table. The restaurant was not even half full. We waited for 15 minutes and still nobody came to seat us. So we walked out along with at least 10 other people. Can’t complain about food as never had none but the service for a table was terrible the staff where all stood talking to each other. So nice to be back having not visited this chain for nearly 3 years. Breakfast was lovely, restaurant was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and always checking everything was ok, in the right amount of time, not rushed or waiting too long.

This was our first trip to the restaurant since last October. There was a limited menu due to a fault in the kitchen- however our waitress, Abbey, recommended a few items which were still available. The tables were socially distant, which made us feel at ease. Food and drinks were served quickly which was good. Will definitely be back, Abbey definitely proved the “Service With A Smile” saying, nothing was too much trouble.

Me and my little ones came in for a bit of lunch after we did some Christmas shopping. This is the first time that we’ve been in a restaurant and actually felt safe. The tables were all spaced apart and had screens that were cleaned regularly. We sat in one of the high tables near the door due to me being scared of being too close to people. The waitress that served us was lovely- she complimented my little girls Christmas dress which completely made her day! I think her name was Abbey. We are very impressed by our lunch here today and all the covid secure measures in place. Nick our waiter was hard working and very efficient and made us feel very safe. He double checked a table was clean before seating other customers. The food was delicious and came in quick time. Very enjoyable-our best Frankie and Benny's experience yet!

Exceptional Customer Service and Good Food. Visited this restaurant for lunch and was surprised at the quality of the food. The staff - manager Nick and our waitress Abbey were just really good indeed. They both had a very pleasant attitude and their smiles shone from beyond their masks. I have been wary about going out due to the current circumstances and thought that I would come to this restaurant due to feedback that it was socially distanced well. I was very happy with the service, a young lady by the name of Abbey served me and I am happy to say that if I were to come back out for a lunch then I would happily return.

We came in today for a spot of lunch and it was amazing! Both mine and my boyfriends meatballs were so yummy, and we especially liked the Garlic Bread! Our server, Abbey, was very friendly and explained the new layout. We both felt very safe here with the new guidelines- we will definitely be back!

Couple of bad reviews on here unsure why. We have a great experience here and the food was great. I was surprised by how good the cocktails were here in all fairness. Went to Clarks Village and decided we’d have a sit down and a spot of lunch, menu outside looked inviting so in we went, sanitised hands and masks on. Asked one of the staff for a table to be told they didn’t actually open for another 5 minutes but we were welcome to wait until the supervisor turned up. Another couple walked in behind us followed by the supervisor, only to be told that they weren’t welcome as it isn’t open for another 4 minutes. He then told us the same, he was very rude and abrupt, so by this time, 3 minutes till opening we weren’t welcome either. I wouldn’t be rushing back there and reading other reviews I shan’t be missing out.

Visited Clarks Village many times but never the Frankie and Benny's here due to some past bad reviews, we didn't book but this wasn't a problem nice gentleman at the door gave us a menu and booked us in on the door.Every other table is not in use due to the COVID distance spreading out, we ordered Pizza and a burger at lunch time, didn't wait long at all the server came straight away to our table, for drinks order and food took no longer than 15 mins, it was a warm September day and there was plenty of people about.I can not comment on the poor reviews only on my next visit here to Clarks Village I will return here.

The newest review to this day was 3 months old, so whatever you thought of F&B's before, get ready for a new experience. The girl who served us was lovely, BUT was carrying her face shield mask on one hand whilst taking our order! I guess if she had it is because there's a requirement, otherwise don't bother carrying that to spread germs (not only covid). We have been to a F&B's before, we KNOW what the food is like. It's not the best, but it's good enough. This time the food was a load of tasteless rubbish... My spaghetti tasted like tinned spaghetti (which wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't 10 times more expensive!) When we complaint about the food, the manager came to us and said "we understand no one has the same taste, and people cook differently. We follow a recipe. And then said everything came cooked from another place... So which is it? Do you follow a recipe or everything comes cooked and you have nothing to do with it apart from putting it in the microwave?... Anyway, Never again!

I eat at this Frankie & Benny’s nearly every time I come on holiday to Glastonbury but after tonight I WON’T be eating there again. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had the misfortune to be served and at my age I’ve had a good few. The plate was cold, the food lukewarm at best and if I’d dropped one of the French Fries on my foot it would have broken a toe. The waitress did take my meal away when I complained but the replacement was little better - plate was still cold as were the french fries were which were also hard and dry. The waiting staff did offer to replace them again but by that time I couldn’t be bothered. The rack of ribs at least were warm - cooked to within an inch of their lives and so very dry & partially burnt but at least they were hot I suppose. The restaurant is currently serving a limited menu so you would think that what they were serving would be ok not in this case and as it was very quiet in there it wasn’t as if they were rushed off their feet either. All in all I was extremely disappointed and it will certainly put me off eating at ANY Frankie & Benny’s again - definitely NOT recommended.

Stopped visiting F&B in Street last year due to poor service and, quite honestly, terrible food. Decided to give it another go yesterday and really pleased we did! New management and staff, service right up there and food was really good. Thank you! We will be back!

We were a family visiting on a Saturday night. Having sat down we waited and waited and waited for anyone to come and take a drinks order. After 20 minutes I had to shout over a passing waiter for help. Eventually our food came before even a single drink had been delivered to the table. When the drink came my daughters glass had lipstick smeared around the rim. The garlic bread was like a frisbee and had to be sent back. It was a poor experience on so many levels. We wished we'd gone to the GBK next door!
