No one came to clean room or give new towels, soaps etc while we stayed here. We were not informed that the pool was not working!!! The restaurant was under renovation. We were also charged amenity fees when none of the amenities were working. Not worth the money and would never stay here again.

A hidden gem. Love the view, love the service, love the food and prices. This is my go to place when friends ask where to meet

Went with my wife for dinner, she loved her pasta and I had the chicken was delicious. Service was good restaurant looks nice inside. The view would be great in the summertime

We had a reservation for 5 on January 15/2023 @ 6p.m. When we arrived we waited at least 10 minutes to be seated ( 2 tables in dinning room ). Our waitress brought us water and took our drink order, took a while to get because she was also the bartender. 3 of us ordered prime rib, definitely was reheated and portions were really small. The other 2 people ordered the peppercorn steak which was way over cooked. All of the vegetables on all the plates were close to raw and to hard to eat. The potatoes were also reheated! My husband and I went there a month before and had the prime rib and it was awesome and great size portion. So excited to take our family for a birthday dinner and we’re very disappointed. We didn’t bother complaining but will never go back !!

Expensive and cold! Go somewhere else - we ended up eating at Tim Horton's down the road. Extremely disappointed

My wife and I stayed at the Ramada which the Beacon Harbour Restaurant is part of. From the front you would not think much of it but once you see the back that is what makes it. The food at the restaurant is top notch the staff are very friendly and the view from the deck or dining room looking over the marina and Lake Ontario is spectaclar. Since our first stay here over a few years ago we have come back at least once a year. Just a heads up the hotel is not the ritz and does need to be updated. However the beds are comfortable and they keep it clean and tidy. If your looking for a relaxing little vacation would highly recommend that you book a couple days or so here.

Can’t begin to describe how bad our experience was. First the waitress could not find the ingredients to make a drink on the menu and actually came to the table and said that!. Then no chicken to make a meal selection. My 90 year old father ordered the prime rib which was equated to shoe leather. Hamburger was dry. Cauliflower bites were cold and soggy. Nothing was good and had to go to another restaurant to eat, because we left not eating our meals and a hungry senior who had no food that was decent to eat.

Had dinner here last night, what a disappointing experience. We first ordered the Cast Iron Black Tiger shrimp appetizer. There were five fair sized shrimp, which were so overcooked they were rubbery and very chewy. I ordered the prime rib dinner. It was advertised as "our famous prime rib with traditional mash, house made beef jus, seasonal roasted vegetables and homemade yorkshire pudding" First the meat was so well done that it was dry and tasteless, very fatty and grisly. The seasonal roasted vegetables were very oily, burnt and mostly tasteless. The yorkshire pudding was also very burn and very heavy. And to top it off they advertised house made beef jus. What was on my plate was bagged brown gravy. A total unenjoyable meal. I witnessed a family dining at the next table. The young lady ordered the prime rib as well. She was sawing away at the meat, put a piece in her mouth and immediately spit it back onto the plate. This was absolutely by far the worst prime rib I have ever been served. It really is too bad as the wait staff was courteous and friendly, the view is spectacular. Too bad the "chef" seems to be uninterested in serving quality food at the prices they charge.

Meal was over 2 hours late arriving. It wasn’t hot and did not even look appetizing when it was presented. Server wore a plastic visor rather than approved face mask. Accompanied by elderly frail family that were visibly tired by the long wait and disappointed by the poor meal at a much anticipated family gathering.

It was lovely lunch with good food, lovely service and most beautiful view of Lake Ontario. My friend is a regular there. It's been my first visit. At the end there were some troubles with processing the payment, many attempts, different cards. So just in case to avoid expensive withdraw, bring cash.

Breakfast is excellent BUT serving portions are huge so be sure to order on plate and share as it is just way too much food.

We enjoyed a late afternoon lunch on the patio overlooking the marina. A great setting following an afternoon of wine tasting in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Lobster Roll and Fish Tacos were fresh and flavourful. Will definitely return.

We were luckily able to get a seat as walk in customers. We were visiting the Jordan Area for a one night getaway for our anniversary. We had planned our bnb and some wineries to explore but forgot about making dinning arrangements. We were so happy with our experience at the Beacon. The view on the water was beautiful as well as the live acoustic music that was playing. Our food was amazing! Homemade burger for me and seafood pasta for my husband. Eric, our server, was attentive, friendly, and added to our overall amazing experience! We will be back!

Recently had dinner at the beacon and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for steak/seafood with a view.

We had our wedding at the Beacon on October 17 this year. We were a little concerned with that but we kept our guest list to 14 people. We were given a prival hall that accommodates twice that so there was ample spacing of tables. We the help of Victoria the event coordinator and Ian the manager they provided the perfect wedding for us. We had the minister for the service there afterwards they moved the seating and put the tables in place for dinner. The food was over the top, perfectly plated, fresh and warm. Expertly served. They accommodated our every want. We stayed the night there and was graciously given free breakfast for the newly weds. I would highly recommend this location along the lake with a gazebo by the water for picture taking,
