TGI Friday's - Crawley in Crawley

Went for a birthday lunch and from when we got there til we left Louis looked after us really well. Food was lovely and drinks were flowing!

Came to TGI and was served by Louis, who throughout our visit was very attentive of our needs, recommended lovely drinks (Zombie cocktail was 10/10), and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Would recommend this restaurant to all family and friends! Cheers Louis for great service x

Booked here for my son’s birthday. Waited 15 minutes for drinks to arrive, over an hour for starters and over two hours for mains, gave up on ordering puddings due to the time that had already elapsed. When the mains arrived they were cold and the so called Ultimate Ribs I ordered (expensive at £30,) were cold, slippery and tasteless. I’ve had better from a supermarket! Chips and sweetcorn weren’t even luke warm. Clearly not enough staff to do the job. Poor attitude/service by staff who avoided eye contact whenever they could and went absent. Manager clearly out of his depth and blamed four staff being absent for issues, but they shouldn’t have accepted as many bookings or stopped takeaways to give them some chance of coping. Seemed more interested in dispatching the Just Eat and Deliveroo orders than serving customers in the restaurant. Are they a restaurant or a takeaway? I’ve never seen as many people leave a restaurant because they couldn’t wait for their food any longer. Tables were sticky, only one working tap in the bathroom with the other missing and taped over with black duct tape, and the whole restaurant is tired and badly in need of a refurbishment. I have eaten here before and previously enjoyed the experience, but I won’t be rushing back after this latest experience. The only thing that has increased in this place are the prices and they do not reflect the quality of food or dining experience. More importantly this ruined my son’s birthday and I can’t do anything about that.

Came to Crawley for the 4DX, thought I’d book us in to TGI Fridays too. Very glad I did! My daughter and I both really enjoyed our food, and Tom provided brilliant customer service. Definitely recommend - if we are in Crawley again we will definitely be back.

Booked in advanced for a birthday. Nothing done.Never asked re desert etc. Table not laid. Sticky. Never cleaned between courses. Cocktails pre mix and sickly. Service. Poor not enough staff. Asked a passing person every time for drinks. Very slow. 2 and quater hours for 2 courses. Main missing bits had to ask for them. It's not cheap mains at £40 a go. Beef ribs out of stock, the best bit. Pork not the same. Swap fries get charged. Never once asked if ok, wasn't wings dry and burnt, steak over cooked. Gave up truth be told. So was robbed really. Not cheap but feels it. In America it's great, here at best average, that's being polite. Wasn't special customer service non exsistant. Toilets poor.

Had the new smash burger was very juicy and tasty! Was served by Cristina who was friendly and attentive! Great experience!

Matthew was really nice. After not having a nice welcoming on my first day in London with 2 different bus drivers, it was nice to have someone friendly attending me.

Good food and excellent service. We were given a warm welcome as soon as we arrived for lunch yesterday. We told Matt P, who was looking after us, that my grandson was dairy and soya intolerant. He ensured this was taken into account at the point of ordering the meal. I mentioned to him that it was my son's birthday. We were given our desserts so we didn't expect anything to happen. It did!! Matt arrived with, I think, the manager carrying a slice of birthday cake with a birthday sparkler candle. They ensured the entire restaurant knew it was my son's birthday much to our amusement. Matt is efficient and obviously enjoys his job. He was everywhere as the restaurant was busy.
