Wagamama in Crawley

You served a sub standard version of Yaki Udan and yet charged me.more than what Wagamama East Croydon served. Yaki Udan they served had prawns, good BBQ chicken and tasted fantastic. You served noodles with lots of oil, no prawns and chicken was bad.

Worst gyoza I've tried in my life. It's not even meat inside but some stinky mushy paste. I've seen dog food that looks more inviting.

Quick service and enjoyed dinner before an overnight flight. Thanks to Milena and Jamie

Visited towards the end of October 2024. Been to this branch at the airport many times previously and always received good service and food. The lady responsible for seating diners was extremely slow and quite rude to a gentlemen stood to the side of me. She took issue to the fact that he was stood next to me and not behind me. Absolutely no need for this type of pedantry. After being seated, I was told that my waiter was Ash and that she would be with me shortly. 5 minutes went by so I asked a member of staff walking by if they could take my order. She advised that she would advise my waiter who never turned up. 5 minutes later I got up to leave and spoke to the manger advising him that I'd been seated for 10 minutes and no one had come to take my order. I told him that I had seen his members of staff standing around talking while customers were waiting to be served and tables needed clearing. To the manager's credit, he apologised profusely and offered to take my order immediately but I declined as I knew that if the table service was this slow it would likely be compounded and I don't want to worry about being late for my flight. I love Wagamama food but will not be visiting this branch again.

We arrived to have dinner and we were atendid directly, and Shayna took our order and she was really kind, friendly and sweet. Great service!!!!

Lovely atmosphere despite being in a busy airport terminal. Food was fresh and delicious, staff super helpful with great communication and service. Teriyaki soba and the hot honey chicken were stand outs!

Shayna was fantastically helpfully. She is an amazing human being and was so welcoming to me. I felt well attended to by Shayna and the world would be a better place if there were more Shaynas in it.

I fly in and out of Gatwick more frequently than I'd like these days but I must say wagamama's food and staff have made it easier. Variety, quality and taste excel. Even had a real medical emergency and Jamie came to the rescue! I am incredibly grateful and will keep stopping by.

A disappointing visit before taking my mum on holiday. The chicken in the ramen was incredibly dry and the bowl that came with the edamame to discard the skins in was unwashed with some kind of leftovers broth inside. I let Wagamama know but didn't receive an emailed response from the manager as requested. Waitress that served us was very friendly though and helpful.

Food and drinks are just very mediocre. Yuzu + lychee G&T has no flavor different from regular G&T. Gyoza is more like a pasty. Salads do not taste fresh

The tteokbokki soup was so bad. How can the tteokbokki be so bloody mushy🤮. it was soooooooo overcooked and only 5pcs of tteokbokki. not worth it at all.

Came to Wagamama Gatwick before our flight. Cannot fault at all. Anta went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, as well as explaining the menu etc. amazing customer service from Anta, would definitely come back without a doubt after the lovely treatment we received. Amazing

Gatwick North. Stopped for a snack, nothing to complain about there. However, it is very sharp practice to turn the air con up so high that you can turn tables quicker. The uninitiated sitting in their coats etc. An intelligence insulting activity, I believe pioneered by another well known fast food restaurant chain...

Great food but the service is terrible :-(. Maybe it is because of the rush of the airport since I didnt experience that in other wagamamas.

Spacious place that offers something different from what you can find in the airport hall. Good quantity for the price, very well served by a very hard-working and attentive staff

Was served breakfast by Jamie this morning and would love to say how much I appreciated his warm, welcoming and efficient service! Never had a Wagamama breakfast, must be an airport thing. They should do it everywhere! Beat the queues for the usual places and try this place. Service in 15 minutes.

This was my first time trying wagamama. Ordered a chicken ramen. Chicken was so dry, soup was bland and ramen was overcooked.. very overpriced for a really bad bowl of ramen Staff were nice though Environment was very loud I felt like I had to scream to talk..

THE place to come if you want to compose an irate Google review while you eat. Endless inexplicable wait to order. Got told off for over ordering by a server who brought me two drinks when I was blatantly on my own and it was their mistake. Regular dairy butter pats on my vegan breakfast - I’m not vegan but guys you’ve got one job. I could forgive it all if they were working at high volume breakneck speed but the restaurant was practically empty. Staff wandering around and avoiding all eye contact, felt like I was in a gay sauna. Avoid at all costs.

Had an absolutely lovely time here, what a great start to our holiday! The service was quick and the food was delicious, cannot give enough thanks to Jamie and Ashleigh who served us with a smile and fantastic attitude, and were great when I had to make a dietry request (which I often feel awkward about). My first time having Wagamama's, will definitely be returning on any future journeys.

They change the bins in front of us it smelled awful.

If I could rate -5 / 10 I would. The most disgusting breakfast. Snotty eggs, gone off salmon and soggy buns. The Açai bowl.. the advertisement suggests a decent bowl I received a fist size açai bowl tasteless and gross. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had a fantastic time with family here. SPECIAL THANK YOU to David, the young man who was extremely polite, helpful and informative on the day. He was gracious enough to initiate the change of my order (pad thai) to the vegan corn dogs, which I really enjoyed. Please give him a raise/bonus because his customer service was superb!

Due to our flight being delayed we decided to grab a bite to eat her. Food was superb. Crispy Duck Noodles highly recommended. The cocktails were terrible should have just had tap water very disappointing for the price

My first trip for breakfast and will be going back. I love Wagamama, the food is always great and this was my first trip for breakfast. From entering the restaurant and the friendly greeting from Alfie and the always helpful Grace who was my server, the whole crew were helpful and friendly at all times. The eggs Benedict were great too and can highly recommend the beet juice

Always fresh, quick and friendly staff!

No queue when I arrived at lunchtime (13.30hrs). Was advised a 15-20 minutes waiting for a table but was actually seated within a couple of minutes. Order, drink, and food served promptly, and all staff were very pleasant checking several times throughout if everything was okay. Food was great and so was the Malbec!

Slightly crowded and chaotic inside - was seated in a corridor at the side of the restaurant next to where the staff were having their rest breaks. After ordering they brought the wrong dish out. They then went away and changed it to the correct one. Hard to know how to pay at the end - I had to find a staff member and then he took my payment whilst I was gently moved around by other staff trying to get past. Food was tasty though. Might be better to have fewer tables which would give the staff a chance to breathe and not have to work so frantically to keep up.

Had breakfast before our flight in the early hours of the morning. The staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. The food was delicious, this was my first time having wagas breakfast. The chicken and prawn omelette was so good. I would so recommend it. Freshly plum delicious prawns, filled with vegetables. My friend got the sausage & fried egg bao bun. The egg was cooked perfectly, runny egg yolk. The juices and smoothies, full of fresh ingredients, brought us back to life for the flight.

The food is tasty and the service is excellent - polite, quick and with a good mood - exactly what you need for a breakfast at the airport. Thank you, Jaimie, for that!

Unfortunately too much managers and waitresses but they just walking around when you ask something from them, looks like you disturb them in the daily walk around. They asking the customers about everything ok, but they actually don't care. We asked the bill from one of the male manager and he said yes of course and after 5 mins he still just walk around and didn't do anything. Shame, very poor customer service. The staff ate next to us and they more care about each other food, then the cusfomers. When finally one waitress brought our bill 33.5 and I gave 40 and she asked me do you want the change back, whaaaatt. How you can ask this. 🤔 And even the place wasn't very busy.

Everything is perfect except the noise and proximity of nearby guests

Food was warm when it arrived not piping hot as you would expect something freshly made to come. Requested the bill and the server immediately asked me to add the tip - said Server unhappy when I declined and subsequently couldn’t wait to get rid of me from the table!!! Shame because I love wagamama but won’t be back to this restaurant!

Batare was amazing and friendly

Food was good as usual. Service was poor, the waiter that I was told was going to take my order seemed to be more focused on socialising with the other waiters. Additionally they lost track of which customers had arrived in what order so customers who had arrived after me were able to place their order and receive their food before me. I was able to place my order once a different waiter went around checking if there was anyone who was yet to place an order. I’m only emphasising this as an issue because this is an airport restaurant where people have places to be. The overall presentation from the staff was unprofessional. When I arrived the two members of staff who were receiving customers were putting chopsticks in each-others hair. I also witnessed one server going around pinching other servers as they were taking an order from a table. All of these things in isolation are no big deal but all together just shows total unseriousness. It is only an issue because an airport restaurant is not the place to be more focused on having a good time with friends and that is how it came across. Probably won’t be back.

Probably one of the best restaurants at Gatwick North (perhaps either terminal). The waiters are super organised and the food is wonderful. Kira and Jamie were especially helpful with questions about the menu. I recommend the steak teppanyaki if you stop by. Definitely a great place for breakfast too (and you avoid the crowds at other places on the ground floor.) I make a point of coming here every flight; you should too.

Another AMAZING wagamamas experience, really wonderful service, I was lucky enough to get desert on the house by the very kind Jamie, it made my day as I was feeling a little tired and drained. Thank you so much 😊 The vegatsu was delightful as always

Food is great, the salmon teriyaki soba was fantastic. Full of flavour and plenty of textures to the dish. Juice is also very good but a little expensive at £6.50. Waited 15-20 mins before being served but after that service was fine. One of the best lunch options at Gatwick departures. Not cheap total price was around £25 for 1 person.

I was at Gatwick waiting for my flight to Valletta and I decided to try Wagamama. However there was a queue but waiting for 5 minutes a table became available and I’m so glad I waited. This place has to be the best restaurant there is in London. I ordered the Duck bowl and was not disappointed. It was simply stunning. The duck was shredded with some veggies in top of some beautiful steamed rice. I also tried some dumplings and they were great as well.

Francesco was very nice and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable before our flight☺️
