We love Wagamama, superb food, great atmosphere & excellent service. A very big thank you to Zaima who has looked after us on our last 2 visits. So incredibly professional and kind. What a great person to have on your team 👋👍💋. It is so nice when you have had a very stressful day, we were doing a day trip from Málaga to London 3 hour delay on way out and a 5 hour delay back. But we went along to Wagamama to cheer ourselves up and we certainly did,was served by Zaima again so we knew we were in good hands and had a very happy 3 hours there. Had fantastic food & wine and love that the sauvignon blanc s now served in new cardboard packaging. Thank you for your wonderful food and having someone like Zaima to look after us. 💋👍👋🥳💪😍❤️🇬🇧 See you all soon again xxx

Update: bad service. I ate my meal and all was fine. I just paid on card. Later, I found out my flight was cancelled and due to getting a flight tomorrow, I realised I could get my meal expensed as ordered after the cancellation so needed to get a receipt. I went back to the restaurant - granted it was near closing but there were still customers inside eating. I stood at the entrance for about 2 mins - staff saw me but just ignored me. I then went to the bar and the 2 staff members saw me, turned their backs to me and continued talking to each other for at least another 2 mins. When they finally turned around and I was still there, they spoke to me - I assume they had hoped that I would've got the memo and left without a word, NOPE lol. They then beckoned who I assume is the manager to deal with it (man, 30-40, asian) who was being very abrupt and almost rude to me as I didn't know the table number. I took him to where I had been sat and I saw the waitress who had served me, she came over and he was instructing her on closing down the restaurant - just when they finished talking, I went to say that she had served me so would be able to find the entry quicker, and he snapped at me "I'll lead on this." Sorry, I didn't realise I worked for you. I was trying to help lol He then was at the til, and kept saying "what was the amount? What was the amount? I need the exact amount or this will be very difficult", this was even after the waitress had said it was £19. I was trying to get the transaction up on my phone but the banking app was slow, and he just seemed annoyed and kept rushing me. Very odd behaviour to be honest, as was treating me like I'd committed a cardinal sin. Like, I get it's annoying I didn't know the table number or amount off the top of my head but looking on a til and clicking a few buttons isn't that taxing. The man needs a holiday as he's clearly stressed and can't wait 30 seconds for an app to load without pulling his hair out. "I'll lead on this", mate, I'll lead your bad attitude to the bin. Original: Busy but they got me in. They ran out of a lot of veggie items so had to change my choice from firecracker curry to veg katsu. Food as expected- tasty and decent portion. Not loving the fact they push you to download an app to pay, you can pay normally though and not tip if you dont want to! Services was fine.

The food was average and I had a chicken noodle ramen which had delicious noodles but the chicken was a bit dry for my liking. I went there at 7 o’clock to have breakfast and it was empty.

Lovely service! Felt taken care of and at ease the whole time I was there :) especially Nayah thank you so much! Super professional, received everything I wished for, got a take away box for the leftovers and loved the comfortable atmosphere.

On one hand, Jamie and the rest of the staff are lovely. Service was grand and even with a full house and loads of things going on, they took the time to give me a stellar service. I think their app to pay is fairly new so I'd recommend paying AFTER downloading the app and creating an account, not through the web platform, if you want to collect points and claim rewards, the process is not 100% ironed out yet. The food was really good for the price and speed, so I wouldn't think twice, just seat and enjoy

Today, as I am flying from Gatwick airport, my wife and I decided to have lunch at the airport. We departed from tje North Terminal where we found Wagamama, a restaurant I have never tried before as I am not too keen on Asian food. How wrong I was. I must say that my experience there has been more than excellent. As soon as I put a foot inside the restaurant, customer service has been incredible. Sitting at my table, service was quite cordial and polite. The lady who assisted us, always showed a smile on her face that made us feel comfortable. Well, what about food? Food was delicious, tasty and we were served just a few minutes after we placed our order. I tried chicken Katsu while my wife chose Ebi Katsu. A great choice for both of us. For dessert we fell in love with their cheesecake. In conclusion, a great experience from the beginning to the end. I absolutely recommend it when you are flying from the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport.

Genuinely the worst excuse of "Asian" food I've ever had. Worst food I've ever had at an airport actually. On the 21st of April 2023 (yes, last year) I ordered steamed banh bao, and the bun came soggy yet crumbling apart before I could get a proper bite. Seriously so flavorless I wouldn't give it to my cats. The staff were chill when I complained about it (mind you it was so bad it was inedible), and then went to consult their manager. The manager was a royal a-hole. I told him nicely that I'd like a replacement or for them to erase the bao from my tab. He immediately starts to argue, asked me what the issue with my food was because he claimed "all the food here is made fresh so I don't understand your problem". I told him very clearly that I (a mixed Vietnamese woman btw) can clearly tell the difference between a mass produced deep frozen flavorless bao that was practically just reheated over steam without second thought about the quality of food they are serving, and an actual fresh banh bao. I didn't want to argue because my trip was already ruined by my phone being stolen in London, so I didn't get angry despite the manager raising his voice at me and making quite a scene in front of the other customers. And again, the staff were incredibly sweet to me and my friend whom I traveled with. The manager is completely at fault here. Oh, and the bar was pretty nice lol. Just don't dine there and you're set.

Speed of service is absolutely atrocious.

We were there before 4 other tables. We were served after them. The staff seemed confused and appeared not to know what they were doing. There were mistakes in our order. This is the first Wagamama that has been so poorly managed.

The food was ok , the service was ok ! After taking the 15% service charge off our bill ( as we were going to leave cash ) the waitress became very stroppy !! Really poor show !

Been away from home for a week hence craved for a ramen. Wagamama was a long awaited craving... Ordered the Thai beef salad (5/5) and a pork belly ramen (3/5). I am taking my time to break down why I was disappointed with the ramen: (1) The noodles are uncooked (2) The broth was most definitely "not Japanese" (3) Otherwise pork belly, the egg, and the vegs are well made. Oh, one more thing, if you are in a rush this is not to place to come.

The service was exceptional! We were served by a lovely lady with pink hair who was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout. The food arrived insanely quickly, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend for both the amazing service and speedy experience!

You served a sub standard version of Yaki Udan and yet charged me.more than what Wagamama East Croydon served. Yaki Udan they served had prawns, good BBQ chicken and tasted fantastic. You served noodles with lots of oil, no prawns and chicken was bad.

Worst gyoza I've tried in my life. It's not even meat inside but some stinky mushy paste. I've seen dog food that looks more inviting.

Visited towards the end of October 2024. Been to this branch at the airport many times previously and always received good service and food. The lady responsible for seating diners was extremely slow and quite rude to a gentlemen stood to the side of me. She took issue to the fact that he was stood next to me and not behind me. Absolutely no need for this type of pedantry. After being seated, I was told that my waiter was Ash and that she would be with me shortly. 5 minutes went by so I asked a member of staff walking by if they could take my order. She advised that she would advise my waiter who never turned up. 5 minutes later I got up to leave and spoke to the manger advising him that I'd been seated for 10 minutes and no one had come to take my order. I told him that I had seen his members of staff standing around talking while customers were waiting to be served and tables needed clearing. To the manager's credit, he apologised profusely and offered to take my order immediately but I declined as I knew that if the table service was this slow it would likely be compounded and I don't want to worry about being late for my flight. I love Wagamama food but will not be visiting this branch again.

Lovely atmosphere despite being in a busy airport terminal. Food was fresh and delicious, staff super helpful with great communication and service. Teriyaki soba and the hot honey chicken were stand outs!

A disappointing visit before taking my mum on holiday. The chicken in the ramen was incredibly dry and the bowl that came with the edamame to discard the skins in was unwashed with some kind of leftovers broth inside. I let Wagamama know but didn't receive an emailed response from the manager as requested. Waitress that served us was very friendly though and helpful.

I fly in and out of Gatwick more frequently than I'd like these days but I must say wagamama's food and staff have made it easier. Variety, quality and taste excel. Even had a real medical emergency and Jamie came to the rescue! I am incredibly grateful and will keep stopping by.

Came to Wagamama Gatwick before our flight. Cannot fault at all. Anta went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, as well as explaining the menu etc. amazing customer service from Anta, would definitely come back without a doubt after the lovely treatment we received. Amazing

Gatwick North. Stopped for a snack, nothing to complain about there. However, it is very sharp practice to turn the air con up so high that you can turn tables quicker. The uninitiated sitting in their coats etc. An intelligence insulting activity, I believe pioneered by another well known fast food restaurant chain...

THE place to come if you want to compose an irate Google review while you eat. Endless inexplicable wait to order. Got told off for over ordering by a server who brought me two drinks when I was blatantly on my own and it was their mistake. Regular dairy butter pats on my vegan breakfast - I’m not vegan but guys you’ve got one job. I could forgive it all if they were working at high volume breakneck speed but the restaurant was practically empty. Staff wandering around and avoiding all eye contact, felt like I was in a gay sauna. Avoid at all costs.

Had an absolutely lovely time here, what a great start to our holiday! The service was quick and the food was delicious, cannot give enough thanks to Jamie and Ashleigh who served us with a smile and fantastic attitude, and were great when I had to make a dietry request (which I often feel awkward about). My first time having Wagamama's, will definitely be returning on any future journeys.

My first trip for breakfast and will be going back. I love Wagamama, the food is always great and this was my first trip for breakfast. From entering the restaurant and the friendly greeting from Alfie and the always helpful Grace who was my server, the whole crew were helpful and friendly at all times. The eggs Benedict were great too and can highly recommend the beet juice

No queue when I arrived at lunchtime (13.30hrs). Was advised a 15-20 minutes waiting for a table but was actually seated within a couple of minutes. Order, drink, and food served promptly, and all staff were very pleasant checking several times throughout if everything was okay. Food was great and so was the Malbec!

Had breakfast before our flight in the early hours of the morning. The staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. The food was delicious, this was my first time having wagas breakfast. The chicken and prawn omelette was so good. I would so recommend it. Freshly plum delicious prawns, filled with vegetables. My friend got the sausage & fried egg bao bun. The egg was cooked perfectly, runny egg yolk. The juices and smoothies, full of fresh ingredients, brought us back to life for the flight.

Slightly crowded and chaotic inside - was seated in a corridor at the side of the restaurant next to where the staff were having their rest breaks. After ordering they brought the wrong dish out. They then went away and changed it to the correct one. Hard to know how to pay at the end - I had to find a staff member and then he took my payment whilst I was gently moved around by other staff trying to get past. Food was tasty though. Might be better to have fewer tables which would give the staff a chance to breathe and not have to work so frantically to keep up.
