Whilst queuing to pay for my items in duty free I could hear a woman shouting repeatedly, we then realised she was shouting at her colleague, and shouting at all of the customers. This was really unprofessional behaviour from Tamzin at the self check outs in North Terminal Duty free on the evening of Friday 29th November 2024. If someone would like to inform her to praise in public and reprimand in private, and also not threaten her colleagues with “I’m telling management”. What the whole queue witnessed there was work place bullying in public, honestly poor guy on the receiving end. Tamzin needs an attitude check. Date of experience: 29 November 2024

The staff throughout the airport are very helpful, smiling, very friendly. The airport itself is terrible. Very inconvenient passenger logistics, inconvenient information, "tired". Very expensive everything. The price tag is in European figures, but expressed in pounds. Shocking from unaccustomed!!!!!

Went to collect my daughter. The car parking pantomime is exactly what it is. First car park only went to level 2 . No information stating this end up I the orange car park. Level 1 practically empty . Another level was meet and greet empty again . Another level taken up by a whole row of empty UBER parking spaces. End up on level 5. I reckon I spent at least £7:50 of my parking fee driving round trying to find somewhere to park. The saying, got you by the short and curlies comes to mind . There's no other way to collect someone from the airport. In any other walk of life this would be classed at daylight robbery. Thank you Gatwick parking for turning a simple pick up into a saga

Not very good, plane lands waiting to sort air bridge out half an hour at least, then we get off big queue at passport control, lots of check points closed, then get a belt for luggage & had to wait almost an hour for bags to come round, yet other belts had bags starting to come round, with nobody waiting at the belts yet, just poor management, trying to save money, to make more profit.

Large airport with many easy-to-use areas. It is of course the first time that we have received our checked-in suitcase damaged. We immediately went to the relevant office located directly opposite the baggage claim area to report the incident. We filled out a digital form, they took pictures of the damage and told us to send an email to an address they gave us to update us on the progress of our claim.

A bit of chaos in the management of entrances to security checks. Only one functioning escalator forced people into a long queue that stretched across the entire ground floor. The checks were chaotic but after those, everything went smoothly. Food area with supermarket. If there is one thing that is not missing in GB it is eating and drinking.

Fairly large airport with several shops and fast food outlets inside, there are moving walkways that make it easier to move towards the gate. While waiting for boarding to open, there are some charging stations available for your phone. Very accurate check-in control, I would add to the fact that it is obsolete, with several controls that I have only seen at this airport.

As a transit hub it's hard to beat, very efficient and modern. As a place where everything is hyper inflated in price, I hate these places ! We did however book the aspire lounge in S Terminal and if I were spending £30 then it offers best value for money. Otherwise, safe with courteous staff

I find Gatwick to be a very average to below average airport. It really depends on if you are flying out of the North or South terminal. The North terminal is nicer than the South but equally chaotic and similarly disorganized when it comes to check-in and security processing. There is nothing overly memorable except for the temperature controls in the South terminal. The last time I flew through I could see my breath in the main terminal. It was freezing inside.

Incredibly uncomfortable seats only surpassed by the even more uncomfortable benches, no windows in the departure area, no viewing platform, everything seems to be designed to make you pay extra for one of the lounges or go & sit in a cafe' & order food. When I first arrived the departure area was closed & it resembled a homeless shelter more than an airport with people opting to sleep on the floor, rather than the benches designed by a torture specialist. Just awful.

Quite big and those in charge of passing the controls honestly treat us like cattle, they don't see us as people, there are plenty of shops, some places to eat, and information panels on both floors. The entry to the plane without any order, the first one who arrives enters. Good connection with train and bus. But at other airports they are somewhat more professional.

I like this airport in London. It's the best of them all. You can move quickly from the south terminal to the north one using the free shuttle train. You can get quickly to the centre as well. The airport is not too big like Heathrow and not too small like the rest. All shops, cafés, etc. Many domestic and international flights use it.

Airport is very busy, cramped and rundown. Generally facilities are poorly maintained. Currently half of the south terminal has no heating. Reported it and was met with, "yeah its been like that for months". Security and Passport control are quite good, but bag delivery is painfully slow - often >1 hour wait. And don't even get me started on the criminal pickup and dropoff charges! If you can avoid this airport, do it!

Gatwick International Airport is one of the international airports in London A medium-sized airport, beautiful, clean, as if new, and excellent. Frankly, I liked the small size of the airport and the speed of arriving and exiting, despite Heathrow’s crowding and overcrowding. It was possible to arrive in the morning, as it was not crowded, but to be honest, it did not take us a quarter of an hour, or maybe less. Even the customs employee was cheerful and joking, even if he asked us many questions: Why are you coming, where are you going, and for how many days? He asked me for the hotel reservations and address, and asked for a return ticket. The only problem with the airport is that it is an hour and 10 minutes away from central London, with crowds taking a little longer Emirates and Qatar Airlines operate flights to Gatwick Airport, and ticket prices are often lower than Heathrow Airport On departure, the procedures were easy and smooth. There were no customs, exit stamps, boarding clearance, and flight procedures. It was sufficient for stamping and even inspection. It was not crowded, even though it was noon, the peak time. The airport has a simple duty-free shop, but it suffices, frankly. The prices of perfumes there are among the cheapest I have seen There are more than one lounges, I tried one of them, it was nice, but the food is limited, but it is beautiful and elegant In general, any travel I have to London, God willing, will be through this beautiful airport —- For more coverage Snap Travelaq

Not happy with their policy of charging for drop-off. Id driven through the dropoff area while looking for short stay parking, I wasn't even in the zone for 3 mins and I received a fine. It's outrageous they are charging a fiver for less than 3 mins, that's like 100 quid an hr. I appealed the find and it was cancled but these companies need regulating

Gatwick airport is good as it gets the only downfall is the short stay drop of stays and pick ups, got a “Fine” and tried to pay online they disregarded my complaint with evidence provided that I tried to pay online and they still issued me the ticket/fine to pay 60£ all they care about is money and nothing else I know it’s a money making scheme but have some sort of consideration when someone has actually tried to pay in advance and their systems were not working of some sort!!!

Wednesday morning 25th September we visited this branch of Costa, which is located in the Premier Inn at the North Terminal in Gatwick, where we had spent the previous night. We found a place to sit then one of us went to the counter to order two flat whites, £3.95 each. When paying went to add to our reward points (beans) but we were told the reward scheme did not operate here as it was a franchise. They are working on it and are hopeful that they will included in the loyalty card scheme soon. While waiting for the coffees to be prepared it was an opportunity to look around the place. The fridges and cabinets were very well stocked with sandwiches, paninis, snacks, cakes, cookies and more. The serving and food area was clean and well maintained. Our coffees, when prepared, where how they should be, they were the correct temperature and full of flavour. The Coffee shop is open twenty-four hours, as advertised in the lifts and about the building.

You served a sub standard version of Yaki Udan and yet charged me.more than what Wagamama East Croydon served. Yaki Udan they served had prawns, good BBQ chicken and tasted fantastic. You served noodles with lots of oil, no prawns and chicken was bad.
