Myself and best friend had been to the cinema . And by the time we came out so we decided on frankie and bennys . And boy we were so glad we did !! Our server turned out to be a manager . And I must say ... what an asset to your business! Made us feel so welcome . My friend is very pedantic with food but with the recommendations given she cleared the plate . Thank you so much for making us feel so special ❤️ we will be back Our visit was on Tuesday 8th October xx

My granddaughter's 10th birthday meal 5/10/19 - she and 3 friends sat on one tableand 4 adults sat on an adjacent table.From the moment the phone was answered to book these tables we experienced first class service.The four10 year old girls had a brilliant time (so did the adults); in particular Troy, our main waiter was brilliant, attentive to each person, and served our lovely food in a timely manner, especially pleasing as the restaurant was packed.Well done to the team at Blackpool because everything was fabulous.

Came here on a Friday evening, so it was fairly busy. The service was good and the food decent. Made it better value as we had a code to use, thus was a bit cheaper. Would return no problem.

Overall it was a nice breakfast , though hot the water in a cup ? Why not just bring a pot of tea? Much easier I had scrambled egg which was tasty & the bread was nice & fresh , my husband had porridge which he said was ok just a bit watery for his liking but he still enjoyed.

I would like to leave a review of the waiter we had when visiting here on the Friday we was served by Troy. My son is autistic and has Allergies. I also had my daughter and he friend and he engaged fully in conversation with us all he was a lovely lad who took the time to talk to us and converse he is a credit to your team and made our visit pleasurable and we will be back because not only was Troy rememberable the food was brilliant. Thanks for a lovely evening and making my son feel like he doesn’t have a disability but also not ignoring my daughter and giving him all the attention as usual one of my children gets left out. We will be back very soon.

Went for a family meal out of 4 cars 2 received £60 even after registering on the electronic tablet even after showing our receipt for nearly £200 they refused our apeal. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Definitely recommend this place never felt so welcome! Late tea at 10.35pm and it was closing at 11pm but welcomed me and my partner in with big smiles, never left until 11.15pm would like to thank the staff for staying to feed us and making us feel comfortable being the only and last people in! Sorry if we inconvenienced you guys as you had finished. Definitely 5* service! Thank you karly for your service your customer service is outstanding!

Went for a family meal the staff welcomed us told us to register our car details which we did.

I have to say this is one place I'd never been before. I was absolutely amazed at the many choices on offer and the range of dietary requirements they cover on the 'normal' menu.

Came here last night with the family and guy on the front desk very helpful and greeting. He remembered my son’s allergy from the last time we visited around 6 months ago. (It’s the little things). The other waiting staff was excellent and friendly too. The food was excellent. Got to say a massive “compliments” to all the chefs. Keep up the good work.

Claire and Mandy where absolutely amazing from start to finish and are an asset to your company made my birthday meal amazing as they were so great I will certainly visit again very soon and would recommend any of my friends to visit especially when there on shift !!!!

Ordered a vegetarian cooked breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint!!! Well cooked and well packaged so it survived till I got home. Couldn't fault it. Can also recycle the packaging which is great! Will be going again soon!!

What a great night. Served by Brendon who was extremely punctual, friendly and ensured everything was great. The restaurant was busy but he made it feel like he was personally assigned to our table. He’s a credit to Frankie & Benny’s.

Slow welcome/seating, clearly staff were over busy and not managed properly. Cocktails served in unusual glasses, long island ice tea in a stemmed glass????. Food was good and portions good but had better elswhere in the chain. Room for improvement.

Called in yesterday after visiting the cinema. Prompt, efficient and friendly attention from Anna the waitress and given time to choose our food before ordering . Drinks service is a bit slow.Food is very good but I think it is a bit expensive for what you get.The venue has quite a good atmosphere and we love the music, so we will go back again.

Booked a table for my sons birthday, asked for balloons to be on table, arrived to none! Waitress 'forgot' to order one of main meals, hence we had all finished our main meal when last one arrived. In all fairness manager came over , apologised , didn't charge for meal and gave a free desert. Haven't been here in a few years and service has definitely gone downhill, shame.

Booked a table last Sunday tea time for my birthday, nobody greeted us at booking desk so we went to the bar for a drink, we got our drinks and sat down, but all u can see on the bar top is a mountain of empty glasses!! When we got to our table we ordered more drinks and our food, the drinks took forever to arrive! When our starter was ready I could see it on the pass and it sat there for over 5 mins so much so it was luke warm! Heat lamps don't keep food hot for long ya know!!! The mains came quicker thank god!! Years ago this place had loads of good staff who were always on the ball! Put more staff on to cope with the volume of customers

Very busy restaurant, we had pre ordered but when the food arrived it wasn't hot. We waited ages for the drinks, wine was warm too ! Staff were attentive but rushed off their feet ( more staff needed) Very average meal, disappointing

We had a great meal here as we seem to at all the Frankie and Bennys we have ever visited. Blackpool really took care of all our dietary needs. The service was maybe a little slow but other than that well worth the money.

The waitress then pulled a face and sighed making us feel like an inconvience. The waitress then picked up two menus and walked away. This had us wondering do we follow her or do we wait in the entrance? It turns out we should follow her.....The abrupt waitress then placed the menus onto a table and took our drinks order rather promptly.We were left sat at the table feeling rather awkward as the drinks took a long time to arrive. We were surrounded by the giggling and squealing of a group of young teenage girls. We even considered leaving before receiving our drinks as they took so long.On the one and only positive of our visit our drinks were brought over by a polite waiter who proceeded to take our food order. Our food arrived scarily promptly as a freshly made pizza and a fresh pasta dish surely should not arrive almost instantly.Our food was adequate although EXTREMELY over priced. The pasta dish came "plonked" in a bowl and certainly was not worth £10.95. Although the pizza was acceptable, then again if you can get a margarita pizza wrong you should be shot!My friend finished her meal I had almost finished my meal and we then received a check-back from the waiting on staff (a bit too late if you ask me). We shortly after finished our meals and had a long wait before the table was cleared. Tried to go here on a Thursday evening for a bite to eat, to be told there would be at least a 10 minute wait, with numerous people in front of us. This would of been absolutely fine if the restaurant had been packed, except it wasn't... it was only half full - well to be honest it looked like they only had half of the restaurant opened.

Popped in for post-cinema dinner. £15 for 3 course set menu, good selection on offer. You know what type of food to expect; if you're after home cooking or a gastronomic treat then go elsewhere. What made the night for us was the fantastic service from manager Steven. Not one of those who say "sorry can't do that it's not on the menu" - but went out of his way to ensure we had a good night.

Not quite sure what other reviewers have seen in this restaurant but we had a great meal. We chose ours from the "Spring Selection" on offer. We were served by a very efficient waiter with a great attitude to customer service. Just across the car park from the Odeon cinema makes this place convenient for pre or post film eating. Good atmos as well, a real New York restaurant in Blackpool!

Came in tonight with a party of 5 and a baby. Food was delicious, amazing service from Steve! He was officiant and chatty and seemed genuinely interested in every customer!We were seated straight away and had our every need attended too. The atmosphere was buzzing, just what you expect from a Frankies. Really impressed. The restaurant was really clean and all the staff seemed happy and enjoying their job. Would definitely recommend! A unique dining experience in Blackpool.

It seems Frankie and Bennys is a bit hit and miss - we must always seem to go on a good day. We were taken straight to a table rather being directed to the bar thankfully and were served promptly by a friendly waiter called Daniel. The kids meals are really good value for £4.25 - a drink, large pizza and a pudding and our meals were good quality too.Its not a cheap meal out but we will go back.

Super long wait as usual and loud as hell. This time one of the hosts was wearing bunny ears and shouting bingo numbers so I'm not sure what was going on. They've changed the menu and increased the prices since I last went there. My starter was ok but my husbands starter looked really really small. Same when it came to the main meal. My meal was ok but my friends meal had about 1/3 of the amount of chips and my husbands pasta was absolutely tiny. The prices are too high now. Why would I pay £22.50 for a rib eye steak when I can go somewhere far nicer and have an amazing one for cheaper. We only went here as a last resort but all vowed that we really will never come back again. I don't think you'll be missing our custom though as the place is full of the dregs of humanity.

I like the Frankies and Benny's brand. The atmosphere, music, decoration and food are always positive factors and this particular restaurant didn't falter in that sense. However, I had several issues with the service. First, it took too long to be seated which could have been forgiven if we'd been acknowledged when we came in. We were asked straight away if we wanted drinks but asked for a few minutes to look. Nobody came back for another 10 minutes. We ordered two cocktails which again took too long to come. The waitress wasn't friendly and was very difficult to get the attention of when we wanted to order more drinks. The only positive bit of service was from the waiter who brought our food. We asked him for drinks, napkins and sauces which all arrived very quickly. Still we didn't want to risk waiting too long for deserts so we got a mcflurry from the nearby mcdonalds and saved the tip for the taxi drive home. More attentive service and a friendly smile could easily have made this experience an excellent one.

On arriving at the restaurant it appeared to be very quiet for a Saturday afternoon next door to a football stadium on a match day. Now we know why!!The restaurant had the air con blowers on , on a freezing cold day I asked the waitress if it could be turned down or turned off she couldn't understand what i asked her and she pointed to the door saying its because a customer had opened the door thats why it was cold. A couple on another table left their coats on while eating thats how cold it was.Things went from bad to worse not only were we freezing but the food was freezing cold too. We ordered the sharing platter it was total crap cheap and microwaved food the potato skins were raw the chicken wings tasted disgusting and the onion rings were freezing cold. 2 of us ordered the chicken skewers they were not cooked enough looked slightly pink inside the burgers were awful 1 of us ordered the Philly cheese sandwich it was swimming in the cheese and disintegrated when trying to pick it up. The other burger was ok. Of course we complained and had something taken off the bill. But will not return here again.

We went out for my friends birthday meal. It was ruined because of the horrible service we received. Firstly we waiting nearly 15mins for our drinks to come with was 4 cokes and a pint of lager, when they finally came the lager was flat so had to change that. Then the waiter came over and took our order we all had starters and mains. We waited 30mins for our starters to come Which by this time the place want even busy and the people behind us asked where their mains were aswel. The waiter came over to collect our plates and started to take our plates away but 1 friend was still eating which we all found rude. We then had to wait almost 45mins for our mains which were mostly the burger with extra cheese and the hotdogs, which is bought in I must say so doesn't take long to cook at all. After it finally came we were not impressed with the quality of the food also, a burger and hotdogs would of been better off the pier. We went to pay and took a look at the bill. ��1.50 for 1 slice of cheese is just taking the milk. I said this and he rolled his eyes and stormed off to get his card, also smelling like stale smoke isn't nice either. As a catering manager and head chef I have never seen such bad service and quality of food in my life. They should be ashamed of themselves, I will not be returning ever again. Disgusting!

Been to this place for years. Sometimes the place as been great and sometimes we been its been average. When its been average its been problems like, long time waiting for food, not having food in stock, food not right, (extremely icey ice cream, over done waffle) Last time i went our ice cream desert was extremely icy. 80% of the time everything is fine. Staff are nice. Never had a problem with the staff. Quite clean apart from the blinds they have been very dusty sometimes. I do love the food and the place. Lunch menu is a great deal. like £11 for starter, main and desert.

Visited here on February 12th 2014 in the early evening. We were made to feel very welcome, even more so seeing as we had just faced hurricane force winds outside! The young chap who serviced us was very friendly and gave us great service and the food was exactly what we expected - delicious! They have a great range of cocktails which are amazing but I think they are a little pricy and portions are quite small. Overall a fantastic visit and will definitely come here again.

We visited f+b on probably the worst day of the year, 90mph winds and lots of rain! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a very friendly guy, who showed us to our table and gave Us a few minutes to look through our menu. The drinks I felt were pretty over priced but the food was very tasty! It was fairly quiet, perhaps due to the weather however we were never hassled and were free to enjoy our meal at our own pace. Would go back again!

Birthday meal which was fantastic the starters consisted of garlic bread, bread sticks, dough balls and crab bruschetta, main course chicken BBQ keebabs, Manhattan burger, bacon Bolognese bake and a Mediterranean veg burger it was delicious and washed down with cocktails and drinks. The atmosphere was wonderful all helped along by out waiter dan who was an absolute star and sang happy birthday to me with gusto. we will definitely be back

Visited with my husband and must admit it was fabulous......a lot better than my local in Northern Ireland. My hubby loved his chicken and ribs. I had chicken with bbq sauce, bacon and cheese and it was superb. Would highly advise anyone to visit,

I used to love Frankie and Benny's and went there for a meal very often. However the past few visits I have noticed a huge difference! The staff have all changed and different staff are there at each visit. They don't appear to know what they are doing. I waited quite a long times for the drinks to arrive. When the food came to the table it was cold. The meatballs and spaghetti were cold and the pizza was disgusting. It was stone cold. The lady came over to see if everything was okay and I told her the meals a were cold. She was very polite and changed them for us with no problem. I do have to say I will not be visiting again as each visit the standard of food goes down. A smile from the staff would not go a miss! Frankie and Benny's should sort this restaurant out quick before it loses all it's customers for good!

Myself and my partner dined here at weekend at I have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were clearly very busy but worked we'll together and our waitress had plenty of time to chat with us about our chrostmas, despite appearing to have many tables to tend to. Always fantastic whenever we go in!

Thought we would try this because we've had good and bad experiences in F&b. the service was great. Although busy, the lady communicated with us and make sure we were ok until she managed to catch up with us and working in the industry myself I understand how this can happen. Less can be said about the food though, it was better than other f&b i have tried but fr the price it is still very average and nothing to shout about.

Came here as a couple for a birthday meal. Ordered our drinks which came with our main meals 25 mins after arriving? I had the scampi which was cold inside and undercooked. My boyfriend had some sort of burger which was average but not worth the 11.95 price tag. Its a shame because the inside of this restaurant is wonderfully layed out and has a good atmosphere it's just let down by poor service, miserable staff with no training and average over-priced food. This restaurant has gone down hill quickly. Will not be returning.

A great place for a family meal, we were seated straight away and drinks were quick. Food was also prompt and that's good when you have 4 hungry boys to feed. The only slight criticism is the pizza was not cooked long enough for me. It was a thin crust so I expected some crispness but alas it was quite Sony and put me off a bit. All other food was great and we finished everything even pizza.

We have visited this restaurant regularly for years, almost since it opened in fact and were always big fans. Changes in management and staffing are now letting it down. The service is slow, long wiaits for orders to be taken, our starters were cold on this occasion and the food nowhere near as good as it used to be. Our last visit was also a disappointment with incorrect orders, poor food and two different waitresses who had no idea what they were doing, the table next to us had the same issues that evening. Staff who had been there significant lengths of time are virtually all gone and I believe this is telling, they used to be a jolly bunch who made your evening however now barely manage a smile or pleasantry. Such a shame, we won't be rushing back again.

I have always loved Frankie and Bennys. This particular restaurant left a lot to be desired... They let down the company reputation...oWe waited half an hour for a table even though it was quiet. No one offered us menus or drinks while we waited.Once we were seated we seemed to have 2 different waitresses who didn't ask us for drinks once after ordering.When we go our meals one was wrong and the other was a meager portion. The check backs weren't done till half way through the meal so we couldn't complain till then. We got the two meals in question taken off the bill which was good.

We like to come to Frankie and Bennys when we stay in Blackpool. What mystifies us is that we are always asked to wait in the bar area until a table is ready - however there are always tables free so why can't we sit straight down??Having said that we have never had a poor meal, we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive and Karol our waiter was excellent.I'm sure we will visit again

We were passing so popped in about 1150hrs on 26/09/13. it was quite busy and only one waitress who did a splendid job serving maybe 15 or so tables until her oppo turned up at 1220ish. Once we were fully staffed our order was taken by the new girl who decided to take the orders of 2 tables, who had arrived 15 minutes after us, first which was mildly annoying.The starter and main we chose were lovely and once the original waitress was back dealing with us everything went fine. She was really friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble.

We booked a table within this branch on the 6th oct. When we arrived our table was not ready and we waited for half an hour before we were eventually seated as there was a large number of us and 2 children you could imagine our frustration however the manageress could not be more helpful and eased our dissapointment with complimentary drinks etc. The customer service she provided was excellent and we wish to highlight this as many others would have just overlooked our frustration. Thanks alot! Bad start good finish...Happy satisfied customers!

I visited here last night about 4:15pm (sat 5/10/13).Upon entering we thought gosh its empty, approx 6-8 other tables in. We were shown to a table that was sticky and felt dirty.We placed order, waited 15mins for drinks (3 soft drinks) tables who came in after us were given their drinks before us? Asked if my daughter could have a colouring pack and the waitress seemed like id asked her the hardest task in the world. food came, wasnt too bad and ate it all. No check back made, asked if we would like desserts we declined, wasnt advised a ice cream was included in kids meal so didnt get it. Was only when checking menu on line we noticed this last night.asked for bill it came with a 'thank you very much :-) Lee' wrote on in biro.Shame he couldnt of smiled while serving us.We paid using a card, wasnt given the nicest look when we said we didnt want to leave tip.Wont be back. Proper let down. Hate to see what this place is like when busy.

Service was shocking, food was cold, managers arguing with staff for all to see which is really bad considering the pass is open & you can see the whole kitchen, I have eaten here many times & never encountered this lax type of service. We intially asked for some more chips as the ones we were sent were cold & mean cold!! The waiter just grunted & took them back to the pass. It was at this point I noticed our server arguing with a very stressed manager who had lost complete control of the kitchen & the meals were stacking up on the pass. From what I could tell there were two managers on shift & if I could notice the general disapointment in service from not only our table but several others around us how did they not ??? We eventually got all 5 of our meals but not together in fact my meal was a good 10 minutes after eveyone elses that was even with sending two meals back as the chips were cold. All in all they were not ready for a busy Saturday night whilst the illuminations are on.

Visited on bank holiday august 2013, had to wait over 40 mins to be seated. Staff were friendly. Food was very average and touching on the cold side considering the high prices, this is not acceptable really. Shame

Whilst on a short trip away myself and my husband decided to go for a meal. We were expecting it to be nice as I had been to one in my local area. We were shown to our tale then sat there for 15 minutes still waiting for our drinks which were served to us by a waitress from the other side of the room. We then waited a further 15 minutes by which time the person who sat us down had walked past our table several times not even realising we still had menus and had still not ordered. In fact several waiters, had walked past and did not think to take our order. In the end my husband then walked up to a random waitress to ask that we be attended to. She then took our order, no apology. We got our food 25 minutes later. Within that time we were not approached to ask if we wanted a drink or if our order had been taken. When the food arrived I could believe I was paying 11 quid for scampi which was overlooked with a measley, decrepit looking salad. I did not ask for chips so expected something a bit more substantial. We were then approached to ask if it was alright but this was near the time when we would have been about to pay, as can be expected no tip was going to be given. My husbands cheesy bacon fries were french fries coated in a bright yellow runny cheese, the sort of cheese you get on a burger but melted in to liquid form with a bit of cut up bacon in top, very poor. His lasagne was also overdone. The whole meal came to 30 quid. The service was awful, the customer service was awful and the food was that dire, I spent the early hours of she morning feeling incredibly ill. Will never eat there again.

was disgusted with this place i went in for an evening meal whilist i was on holiday over there last week. i waited over 40 minutes for someone to take my order and when i was brought my food what a huge let down all i wanted was a burger and fries and all savourys on the side but instead the burger was the barbaqued version with a moulded type thing on the top of it that was suppose to be cheese it was white greyish colour i was horrified to what happened next and please be warned this is not for the faint hearted i was about to taste the burger and out of nowere crawled this maggott type thing with about a hundred legs i nearly collapsed i had alreday by this stage eaten two bites. i just wasnt able to bring myself to complain as the waitress was so lovely twords me a mature lady i just felt so disgusted and she never even asked why didnt i eat my meal she just took it away and brought desert i couldnt even bring myself to eat it. i ordered the apple and rasberry crumble with vanilla ice cream it was a bad shade of pale cream and the moment i attempted to try it the crumble just turned to slush and it looked awful no substance or quality to it. i went there as a treat cause its not cheap but was violated completely i just got up left £15 the meal was £10.50 special and the drink was i,d say about £2.50 didnt even care if it cost more than £15 or less i walked out feeling robbed and cheated and vindicated. furthermore if your thinking of celebrating a birthday there DONT i saw 6 birthday,s go on in the short time i was there. the staff have gotten too complacent with the birthdays it seems to be more of a chore to them now cause all they seem to want to do is get the food out and take orders. i heard that c.d play 6 times in the spce of an hour happy birthday followed by congradulations the staff walk over with the birthday cake and then its business as usual its like a moment of do i really have to this again from the staffs point of view. i will never understand how so many people get sucked in by frankie and bennys its just a name now its all owned by share holders the real inspiration is well gone. the food is sub standered but dont take my word for it go and waste your own money to see for yourself. in my final review of frankie and bennys they are preying on unsuspecting holiday revellers who like me were looking forward to a delicious meal from such a supposed traditional place like frankie and bennys. its a first and a last time for me.

Been here on numerous times staff are friendly food has always been good a little bit on expensive side tho

We visited this evening for my daughter s birthday along with 4 family members & were all extremely disappointed, my daughter was extremely hungry but unfortunately we had to wait an hour for food no apology no approach, we normally love this chain as previously we have visited numerous different ones the staff are so friendly & attentive oh not tonight, we went n found our waitress who advised us she d tell them too rush!!! When we eventually got our food my poor mum s scampi was burnt to a crisp but she asked me not to complain as we d have to wait ages again & she wanted all to just eat together unfortunately part of my meal was missing & I had to go try track the waitress down again, there was no approach for more drinks at any point. I think maybe you were understaffed on this evening but it wasn't even busy ?? Very very disappointing & will not be returning, we visited once nearly 2 years ago & were not impressed with the place but hoped there may have been some improvement it has just slipped further down hill, I hate to write negative reviews but would hate anyone else to have such an unpleasant experience.

Poor service and just generally bad atmosphere. If I book a table I expect to be seated around the time I booked not left in the bar with a promise of 'it'll be two minutes, honest!' Half an hour later we decided to leave.

This restaurant should be the template for how all restaurants in this chain should be run. Although it has the same menu and prices as all other F&B restaurants it has several points that make it better than others I have been to. Service is quick, no long wait just to get your first drink and no long delay between courses. The restaurant is large, well laid out and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plus there is lots of parking spaces available.

We have visited Frankie and Bennys numerous times in numerous places, it's like home from home where food is concerned. We have not had a bad meal in any restaurant and the service was excellent. Food was served well, it was hot and plenty of it. The dessert that I asked for had run out but the staff made sure that I got a replacement to my satisfaction. The restaurant was busy but no diners appeared to be waiting longer than normal for their meals.

Decent food at a decent price. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, can also learn some Italian whilst using the toilets. Gave children colouring packs to keep entertained, Typical chain of restaurant food but no complaints from me

arrived at 5 .10 pm on a Wednesday with my wife and 2 grand kids we were met with a helpful guy who's name was Brentwe were told it would be a 15 mins waiting time as there was 3 kids party's and they were struggling for staff to serve other people in the restaurant when I looked around the place was only 1/2 full I would dread to think if it was full we got the order in within 10 mins then the drinks came 5 mins later then we waited and waited for 45 mins and still no food asked the manager where was the FOOD and his reply was have you not had it yet I said I think that's our food under the heat lamps which have been there for the last 5 mins he went and got the food and after I tried the steak it was like RUBBER AS IT SAT UNDER THE HEAT LIGHT FOR SO LONG AND IT TOOK THE JUICES OUT OF IT so I asked him to just take it away and he asked if I wanted anything else I just said no thanks ill wait for the rest to finish there food he again apologised and said its the lack of staff and having the 3 kids party's at the same timeI said what would you do if you had a full restaurant your only 1/2 full SO I REALLY THING THAT FRANKIE AND BENNYS WANT TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMERS AS ITS THE CUSTOMERS THAT PAYS THE STAFF AND YOUR FIRST PRIORETY IS YOUR CUSTOMERI AM A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT THE PERTH RESTAURANT AND I WOULD HATE TO STOP GOING THROUGH THIS BAD EXPERIANCEBUY THE WAY I HAVE JUST CAME BACK FROM BLACKPOOL AND IM OF TO F & B IN PERTH NOW

Good, reasonably priced Italian food and slick service in "diner-type" booths. Reasonably priced bottles of wine. Unobtrusive 50s and 60s music. Open all day and a very popular venue, even at 5.30pm on a Monday, when we arrived.

As with all frankie and Bennys restaurants the service was fantastic. We have been to this branch before and will go next time we are in Blackpool. it is very clean and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The food was brought to our table in good time and it was all spot on. great value for money too. i think as a chain of restaurants Frankie and Bennys do it right every time, no matter where you go you still get the same level of service and quality of food. Well done to all.

A recent visit here to have a celebration was marred by feeling you were sat at the end of a conveyer belt. It was a quite busy evening and not too bad an atmosphere, music was ok.The food was just uninspiring and very ordinary and the service was the same.It was so awful when the birthday event started, I just cringed and wanted to slip under the table when the piped music started halfway through the CD and was switched off as soon as possible before it ended. Disastrous it was extremely unprofessional.There was a high moment though, when a really helpful and pleasant waiter made his arrival to the table. You felt great with guy but he should have said goodbye to us all before he just plonked down at the bar when his shift finished at 10pm.This place could be really top whack but at the mo is sitting at the bottom of my list for eating out.

This was my first time at this restaurant and it will be my last. A table was booked for 6.00 for eight people but was not ready and we had to wait nearly 45 mains before it was ready. We then had to wait again for a while to get served. We had to chase drinks up. We had all finished our desserts and one friend was still waiting for hers. The service was appalling, not enough staff to cover the amount of customers. I will not being recommending this restaurant to any one.

I went there for a birthday meal. The food is okay and so is the service, but every time it's someone's birthday, they play music out of the speakers extremely loud which made me spill my soup!

Visited as a family of four on a late Friday afternoon for an early tea. We were able to use the lunch time menu and got three courses for £8.95 lots of choices on the main menu I ordered the garlic mushrooms which was hot and tasty then the calzone which was delicious the pizza dough was cooked to perfection. Girls enjoy there children meals of pizza and chicken strips and chips. Couldn't fault the service. Overall a good value freshly cooked meal for (34.50 which was excellent value. I'm suprised that there has been many poor reviews and feel maybe we struck lucky on the day we attended.

We went to Frankie and Bennys for breakfast today and were disappointed. When we arrived our waitress - we did feel it would have been better if her hair was tied up away from the food as it was very greasy. The food was ok, my partner enjoyed eggs benedict but my bacon was rather burnt and eggs were hard and not runny not the end of the world but if you love runny eggs its disappointing! Oh and I was expected nice hot buttered toast except it was really hard and so was the butter so wouldn't spread so didn't have that.Service wasn't great. We asked to pay and she took Forever to bring card machine she went and made drinks, took plates in the back, chatted to someone at the door - everything but serve us. There was only one waitress on and three tables so not sure why she took so long, we were a bit annoyed.Won't be coming back which is a shame as I used to enjoy it here but for me, service is a big thing and for someone to come and ask you half way through if everything's ok - which didn't happen.. I wouldn't even say go because it is cheap as its not £5.20 for two orange juices!

If you don't mind what you're served up, you'll be fine, but if you want anything approaching edible, don't go here. I ordered Cajun burger. The burger was revolting and there was nothing Cajun about it, which is a shame as some Cajun spice might have helped to mask to taste of the cheap meat in the burger. Chips fried in dirty oil and screaming kids everywhere. Service was with a smile, though.

whent to f&b in blackpool as a tried and trusted safe option.left feeling everything about my night had been very average.the service,food,wine,everthing.i had been seated strait away then waited 20 mins until i was spoken to again.i felt for the standard of fair on offer it proved a little pricey,although the set menu at 10.95 looked good value,but only if you fancy whats on it.will not return in a hurry.

stayed at nearby travelodge,went round as it was Monday madness 25 %all food ,not that it was advertisedit as no signs outside.group of 9 of us including two kids.the adults made our mind on the £10.95 menu two courses but gutted to be told no chicken wings /potato skins available for starters.very very poor as only 6 starters one if which is crab bruschetta ,must be a speciality.we were then questioned on the ages of our children for the junior menu ."my manager has said we can only serve to children under 12"we were ready to walk at this stage given two youngsters in our crew but as it was they accepted two of the kids could have the menu .i found this very off putting given we were gonna spend over a £100! .food however was good ,roast chicken got top marks and with the discount was £101for nine not too bead.drinks are very overpriced for the area £3.75 a pint and wine nearly £14 a bottle of house .so if your taking the kids remember take your passport forvid if they want the£3.95 meal!!.the manager must run a tight ship.

Have not been here since last Oct..we used to eat here regularly but I will never EVER go back...Even for the FREE MEAL offered as an apology! Last night myself, my husband and 4 kids decided to treat ourselves and the nightmare began when we asked for chicken wings as starters "sorry we have none" ok how about the skins? "sorry we are out of those too"...so we found something else and ordered our drinks...after 5 minutes the bar man came over to tell me that they are out of J20!! We were not surprised.Our meals came, a meatball calzone, 3 ranch burgers and 2 children's burgers not bad we all ate it but my youngest just wouldn't touch his burger when we were all sat waiting he said "but look" and to our horror the burger was raw in the middle...the waitress came over and was horrified, she took it away and got the manager. Antonio came to our table he couldn't apologize enough, he said we did not have to pay today (as if we were going to!) he offered us all deserts which we declined, he took our contact details so that he could call today to make sure the kids are no ill. He had no explanation as they were not very busy and he admitted that the burgers had not been probed. As promised the manager, Antonio called this morning..the children are not ill thankfully. He offered us a free meal to say sorry. We will not be going back!This Frankie & Benny's used to be so nice but the last 12 months it's gone so far down hill I can't believe it's still open! :-(

I have often gone to Frankie and benniys before the cinema over the years but the last 2-3 times its just got worse and worse, both the service and food, last week myself and 7 friends went for a meal we booked at 8:00, we arrived at 7:55 but were not seated until nearly 8:45, we told the staff we had a film booked at 9:30. Our starters arrived about 10 mins before the film was due to starts, and what we got was pretty much either burnt to a crisp or dripping in grease, we left 90% of it and just walked out, we told staff but they didn't seem to care nor did the manager! Place has gone to complete S**t , we made do with a footlong at the odeon which was not great but at least edible! (pic attached of what i was served)

I am disappointed that the lunch time menu has changed. The pasta dish I normally would choose now is only half the size and is served with fries!

We decided to have a breakfast for £5.00 If you paid £1.50 extra could could drink as much tea/coffee refills as you wanted. Could not faul the service and the food, although I did ask for the music to be turned doown a little as it was too lound for 9am.

We ate here last year when staying in Blackpool and decided to treat ourselves again. It was busy for Thursday night but we were slightly mystified that even though there empty tables we were asked to sit and wait at the bar as there was a 30min wait and this was the same for everyone who ate whilst we were there. The food was very nice though,it didnt take ages to arrive once we'd ordered and the childrens meals are great value for money. The only downside was the loudness of the music, you felt you were shouting to hold a conversation but we would eat here again.

I have never been treated so badly in a restraunt in my life, I am A hotelier here in Sunny Blackpool ! and on the easter weekend I went and booked a table in the after noon for 9pm in the evening , It was my brothers wedding anniversary ther was him, his wife and teenage son, my two sisters and one brother-in-law, my younger brother any myself and partner 9 of us in total, we arrived at 10 mins to nine and were told "your table isnt available just yet, the previous guest were just finishing and paying , then you'll be seated", so we had a drink at the bar, we were called forward to be seated and told, "sorry it was a mistake" it wasnt our table, at 9.35 pm I asked to see the manageress or duty manager, I could see her in the restraunt, but she sent an assistant, I complained about the delay,my sister wen to the toilet and when she returned she told me that the people on our table were only just getting their desserts, I realised we would be waiting at least another half hour, the young assistant tried to persuade me to stay but by that time I had waited long enough and refused to stay and we all left, no apology,he did ask us to comeback on another night, at which point I said NEVER!,I told him we had booked it was an anniversary, that had been ruined, they just didnt seem to care, It was easter and they were busy, , if your reading this review and it is not removed by the company, there are other places much better just a stones throw away, it was a pity they were too busy to seat nine of us, we ended up with very poor fish and chips, thanks guys,I wont be sending any guest to you either!

There is not much choice in Blackpool when it comes to dining something which is not "proper junk food";-)..so-basically, we went to Frankie and Bennie as they have salads on the menus, and seemed to be children friendly. We were not disapointed.We booked on the day, but I don't think it made any difference.On arrival, we were given one of those alien devices to let us know when a table is ready.We headed to the very busy bar and a bottle of Chianti (very nice)was ordered, as well as non alcoholic cocktails for the kids.The bar staff were very nice, making the cocktail looking extra special for them and smiling to our amazed 8 y.o.who loved the "show off" cocktail making part.A table was soon ready and we ordered while the kids coloured their special kids package thing (great one!) -I went for a steak/salad which was perfectly cooked (the steak, not the salad..which was fresh and so needed after all those horrid junk type rubbish we had)My husband ordered Steak/jacket potato but it arrived with fries.He mentionned it to our lovely waiter who apologised, and was super-professional about it.The mistake was corrected in a few minutes and we were really taken care of on a night they were very busy.All the tables were taken, and there was a "Happy birthday song" -with candles and a few waiters each time having to go and sing....bless!!!- every 5 minutes, always followed by the famous "Congratulations, and celebrations...." We had a very good time.Great ambiance on a Saturday night!! and YES, we did tip (which we were thanked for too by the waiter so really classy til the end)

I was really disappointed as this was actually my first visit to Frankie and Bennys. I'm not an overly fussy person but when we ordered our starter of garlic bread the waitress brought over two plates that were quite frankly disgusting. They still had food on them on top and underneath. We asked for some more plates and didn't even get an apology. For our main course again, the plates were dirty, particularly underneath (we couldn't see on top as there was our food on it!). When you're paying over £38.00 for a meal between two people I would like to expect that the crockery is clean. I don't think I'll be returning again.

I have been here several of times recently as I quite enjoy going to the odeon. I'll begin by saying that I am sick of people complaining about the price (drinks mainly) and I would like to say - it's a restaurant, not a pub?Service - At the end of the day, the staff are what make this place what it is. Friendly and welcoming, which unfortunately is something your don't get at many restaurants. It is refreshing, to say the least. Drinks - The drinks are what they are. You pay slightly over the bar (no pun intended) but as previously stated, after all - it is a restaurant, so this can be expected. They have a cocktail menu too, although I am not really a cocktail sort of guy so I couldn't tell you more.Food - The food is delicious. I have no complaints about taste, only at busy times there can be a bit of a wait. I would recommend to anybody if they are getting a dessert to have something with the little brownies in - these are to die for, it's such a shame they are so small! Price - I see a lot of people complaining about the price on here. I do understand where they are coming from. As with many restaurant chains however I think there is some sort of online discount, but I only ever just walk in, usually unplanned. Overall I think the price is worth it, I have been to many other restaurants and paid MUCH more than I ever have here. In my more recent visits I have noticed the portion size has gone down and the quality isn't the same however the foods still good and the staff are lovely.The restaurant is very clean and well laid out.

Absolutely load of rubbish , slow but friendly staff a complete rip off. Food small portions cheap & poor quality. Really really disappointed. Won't be returning. Shame! :(

the food is good and plenty of it, but the drinks are so expensive, i have been a few times in the past but i don't think i'll go again because there is so much choice in Blackpool.

A great Italian 1950's-style restaurant, with great period music, b/w period photos on the walls, lovely food, and even Italian pronunciation lessons playing on a loop in the loos!!!

Went for the first time after it being recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Yes it is a little expensive for what it is but you are also paying for the experience and atmosphere, which we thought was great. Waited longer than we'd have like for drinks but the food was nice and the courses flowed well. Can highly recommend the Long Island Ice Tea. I had the 2 person pitcher to myself...............next time i may have the 4, it tasted amazing! Will def return and hopefully in the not too distant future! Would imagine when it is very busy, the service would be a little frustrating but that wouldn't out me off.

It's the first and last time I went to Frankie and Bennys. I purchased the 2 course £10.95 menu and started with the flat mushrooms which came out as two tiny mushrooms (not portobello or a large type as I was expecting). For my main I ordered the burger which tasted cheap and came with oven baked chips. To wash it down I decided on a glass of Coke which I later found out cost £2.60. The staff were pleasant enough. If I was in the area again I'd just pop into McDonald's next door for a meal around £6. Not Frankie and Bennys at a rip off 13.50!

We visited at just after the lunch time special offer so had to pay full price.Service was good and the food tasted fine although a larger portion would have helped. Prices were a little steep compared to say Harvester/Beefeater and this point was made worse by our missing the early bird lunch option.We would visit again but earlier in the day.

Came on a Sunday night so not that busy so got good waiter service.Had a calzone pizza which was lovely.Place itself was very clean and the staff polite and welcoming.The price was about average with the starters and drinks.Very pleased overall.

I have eaten twice here recently. Mainly as I was going to the Odeon afterwards. The first time was not briliant, we ordered off the breakfast menu and the omelette was tasteless and not very hot. The breakfast was quite greasy. There fore we thought we would try ordering from the main menu second time, chicken burger was ok. The New york chicken was quite greesy though. I ordered cherry crumble for dessert, I waited 30 minutes then had to go and ask where it was. When it finally arived the custard was cold and the cherries covered in some sort of runny dough.Last time I got to a Farnkie and Bennys
