Frankie and Benny's in Blackpool

Lovely Sunday family treat for my boys birthday. Food and drinks were spot on, and so was the service. We were well looked after by Jay. I’m sure he was hitting on the mother in law, but she loved it and it made the meal fun

Sadly our last visit before this restaurant permanently closes tomorrow 21/05/2023 :( Visited this place for years alway good service and friendly staff! Always seem to have the same server most of the time we go. A lovely lady (not sure of name) she's been with them to 20 years! Always very warm and welcoming and can tell by she loves her job. Seen her today for last time before closure. Understandable she is upset but we thanked her for her service over years and wished her and the staff luck! Such a shame! Wish the team the best of luck for the future.

Took a youth group to Frankie's and Benny's Blackpool at the start of May, the restaurant were so accommodating as it was 30 young people and 4 staff. It was very easy to book over the phone and we pre-ordered our meal and the it was prepared efficiently and fresh, clean plates all around. All of the waiting staff were brilliant with our group, had some of the young people laughing and having great banter. We were so pleased with the service and dining experience we had here, we will definitely book here again when we return to Blackpool. Massive thank you to all of the staff for taking care of us. :)

Starting off with the service. Knowing that every time I come here I am left smiling even on bad days. Lisa the GM has always done what she can for me when I come in and has always gone the extra mile. She even made sure the table was decorated for my daughters birthday back in March. All the staff have the most positive attitude towards their customers. Everytime I come in the food is amazing and has never been a problem. Keep smashing it !

Was told I couldn't have a starter and dessert even though the set menu states 2 courses for £15.90 pizza was burnt on bottom a member of staff was climbing on the back of the seats where we were eating so she could adjust the blind then she was leaning over other customer tables nit right for a restaurant

Walked out after waiting 1 hour for food, it never arrived. Pre booked for 18:30 on 12/04, as on holiday with my son for a few nights from Leeds. The place was not full so that can’t have been the issue, they had lots and lots of takeaway order and that seemed to be taking priority. After 45 mins of waiting after ordering I asked a member of staff, they didn’t come back, so after another 10 mins I went over and asked another, he said 2 mins. Other tables were complaining and sending food back. I said to the guy I would wait 2 mins and was then leaving. I timed it, nothing arrived so we got our coats on and told him we were going, he didn’t seem bothered, none of the staff out of uniform did. We left without paying for the 1 drink we’d had and went to Mac Donald’s over the road. At no point did any staff come over to the table and apologise for the delay, we only ordered a kids burger, lasagna and salad. Truly awful and what a waste of our holiday time.

We cwmr for a birthday meal of 12band the service was impecable from the second we walked in the door. Drinks were served almost immediately, food was perfect and delivered with a smile, and the waitress could not do enough for us all and even helped us itemise the bill at the end. I would like to specifically thank Mandy our waitress as without her the night wouldnt hqvr ran as smoothly as it did. Well be back very soon cx

Booked a table online as we planned a visit for the first night of our holiday. Welcomed at the door by Emily who recognised our Yorkshire accents, Emily was really good with our daughter who has special needs seated straight away and given plenty of time to order while our drinks arrived. Staff member Simon was also very lovely and attentive. The restaurant wasn’t overcrowded so we were able to have a relaxed meal, the food came pretty quickly, all nicely cooked. Would come again when next in the area.

Hungry horse food at restaurant prices. Took my two kids (12&13) for a meal. Staff were great and friendly but the food wasn't. My mains of New York chicken was £15.90 but I could have for the same quality and quantity and presentation at a Hungry Horse for about £7.50. Kids had meatballs, four of them with Carbinara.... Very little sauce £12.50

The manager and I’m guesses assistant manager/supervisor? (Apologies if I’m wrong about your roles) were absolutely brilliant! I took my Grandad out for his birthday dinner and they were so funny, accommodating and friendly. They made my Grandads day! Thanks for a brilliant service!!

Visited this place after football match yesterday. Order food and a bottle of beer when beer and glass cases. The glass was dirty so I went back to the bar asked for a clean the barman washed another glass and started to dry it with the bottom of his shirttail. !!! When I challenged him he said his shirt was clean. Dirty minger.

We had a meal at this place before going to the cinema. The service was really nice, expecially the blond hair waitress in a blue christmas jumper. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was terrible, tasteless and of a poor quality. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came undercooked and soggy. The lovely waitress was full of apology and she took it back to the kitchen. The second pizza was a bit better but still not 100% cooked and very greasy. I'm afraid we won't be returning here any time soon.

Hi, we had booked months ago for a Christmas party of 20 or so. Two children’s homes. Weve come every year for about 5 years now. On arrival we were told by a waitress we’d been allocated several separate tables in the corner of the restaurant. When I asked the man wearing a Christmas jumper and a scowl what was going on, his response was:”it’s nothing to do with me.” I went to the cook area and asked to speak to the manager and they pointed out the scowling man in the Christmas jumper. I absolutely had to do something to save the meal so did the managers job for him. I approached a couple who’d just sat down on the long table stretch and asked them if they’d mind moving. They were absolutely fine and I asked the delightful hard working waitress to please get them drinks on us to say thank you. Then I asked the lovely waitress if she could try find another single table. She did. So eventually we all managed to sit together except for 3 of us. The waitress never stopped. They were obviously understaffed. We received no apology from the manager, ( but lots of apologies from the waitress who did her utmost to make our meal fun and nice for all involved.) If you are working in retail or hospitality it’s your job to do your best for the customer. At the end after I’d paid I approached the scowling manager and told him that the waitress had been brilliant and saved the day for the kids. He just stared at me. Can I suggest he has some serious and intensive re-training? Or you promote the fabulous waitress? I and my staff were frankly appalled at the lack of interest from the manager at our plight. This is the first time I’ve ever made a written complaint to a restaurant. Your manager is simply awful. You have no leadership and no positive example set by him. The waitress (I believe she’s called Mandy), deserved a medal for her help today - she showed courage, leadership and offered a fantastic example of how customer service should be. The food was fine and we all enjoyed our party. The 2 stars are for the manager’s behaviour and lack of interest in his job.

Over an hour and half wait and no apology. We have a young son and was told the order had gone amiss. No apology at all. Apparently the manager was “supposed to come and see us”. Really bad service. An apology goes a long way. Would not visit again.

First time ordering online and what a disappointment it was. Ordered the meal deal for 2. Spag Bol with hardly any bolognese sauce, great If you want just pasta as loads of it, with no taste at all . Don’t order the skin on fries for the price, hardly any and cold. The garlic bread was hard and cold, enough for one person to eat - not two. Better quality at Aldi. Will not be ordering again.
