The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Popped in for the first time since the New Owners have taken over for a spot of lunch and being in the City good advantage if we fancy taking the bus instead of the car and then we might be able to try one of their cocktails! Not to over done with the decor and a lovely cosy atmosphere. The menu might be small, as mentioned in other posts but for me this was ideal as with other American diners I have often sent the server off so I can study the menu for longer but the choice is still good and my server did say they would try and accommodate a change if possible. Food is mostly locally sourced and fresh so don't expect frozen cooked curly things. Nice to see that the plate was not overloaded which I find quite off putting has it puts me off my meal and i don't like waste but I do like value for money. I left full and slightly sad that I had not room for Dessert. Will definitely go again! Most interesting to see the original menus on display!

Forgot to take pictures but the food and service here are second to none! Went in on the off chance as was sooo hungry and my word we were not disappointed! Clean, warm friendly atmosphere and the food is to die for! Highly recommend

Staff is straight up rude, ambience is nothing special for a dessert parlour

I was served by Dhvanil Patel. Very tasty food served in east midland burger king. Very good and fast service by Dhavnil Patel (Staff). Staff and service was excellent.

Went to this place last night, asked for a rump steak with mushroom sauce, that came out cold, my friends meal came out wrong, & when asked the waiter, what steaks they were, they haven't a clue. So I had no confidence in this place, it wasn't at all welcoming, so I wouldn't come again. If I was Gordon Ramsey, I'll have a field day trying to sort this place out. It was just chaos. The staff had no clue on what steaks were what . It felt very awkward

Good food and reasonably priced drinks

I placed an online order at 8:19 and arrived at 8:38 to collect it, but it still wasn’t ready. I had to leave for work at 8:45. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Other customers who ordered after me received their orders first. This morning, I had to leave without my 3 drinks, which I paid for, because I was late for work, despite placing the order 20 minutes before collection. I expected better service, especially as I am a regular customer , they also did wrong receips of the drink on me sometimes but this wasnt improve and worse service that i have ever had .

It proclaims that it is a free house. That means that they are not tied to 1 brewery and can sell various ales. No ales for sale don't advertise what you haven't got

Great service in a relaxed location. Food very delicious, with interesting and unusual flavours. Tasty refillable soft drinks and excellent bottled sauces that are free to use, ala Nando’s.

There was no food, or 1 star. Nice little pub. no music, very quiet, we enjoyed these moments, 2 visits. Good beer.

We were in the area to look at a car dealers & popped in jimmy macs for breakfast. I have to say what an absolute credit those waitresses are to this place, very attentive & so polite and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and prices were good too. 👍

Very accommodating to my family’s needs no matter how obsqure and very friendly staff. CHURROS to die for. I love the lemon wipes, they saved me. Would recommend immensely

Well decorated, comfortable,staff were nice and pleasant,had the carvery,very good quality and portion size good value for money.

Ordered food on two nights the food was nice but stone cold , I rang up the staff were incompetent as was the manager Danny he said there was nobody higher than him I explained I will be taking this further and I have no establishment should be available with incompetent staff and cold food.

The steak was really the worst steak I've had, returned it twice and the chef still wasn't able to get it right, very disappointing
