we use this restaurant regularly with no problems but today I placed our order at 5.52, was told delivery was gonna be 6.50 & we eventually received our dinner at 7.45. the drink with the meal was missing but got a bottle of coke instead & we got 2 chix strips & some chips free but they had a peri peri sauce which no one eats , so today we was disappointed

Ordered a bun less burger (on a diet) they didn’t mix everything together, the burgers were soggy and didn’t give me any sauce

Really great staff and nice outside seating. Got the beef dog which tasted nice but the buns they use basically make it so you can't get any toppings / fillings as there's either just no room or it falls out the side.

Called in for tea before going back to our hotel great food and atmosphere we ended up staying for more cocktails

Very rarely make reviews. But had to comment how Really poor this place is. Came in this afternoon. I wouldn't mind wasn't that busy. Was stood at the bar for ages trying to get served only me there, staff just chatting with each other and messing around blatantly ignoring me . Even another customer who was sat at one of the stool tables commented how bad the service was and ignorant they were. will never be coming back.

It was such a great evening. I only had a starter but they were very accommodating with my coeliac disease and tried their best. The atmosphere was amazing. Had such a great time.

Botanist, Coventry will be duly missed for all it‘s style and fantastic drinks which Coventry probably never deserved in the first place.

If you know your BBQ, you’ll know the real deal when it hits the table—and The Mesmerist delivers. We had the St. Louis cut pork ribs and the Texas Trinity brisket, and I’ll say this with zero hesitation: it’s some of the best brisket I’ve had outside Houston. No shortcuts, no gimmicks—just slow smoking, proper seasoning, and serious respect for the craft. As someone who runs restaurants, I know how hard it is to get food to this level. Hats off to the team—what you’re doing is rare and worth shouting about.

The food was very good and the waitress Andrea was really nice and helpful, very good would recommend!!
