Vibey live music bar and nightclub. Plenty of areas to hang out and chat or dance near the live music. Many bar areas to get decently priced cocktails. Coat and bag check possible for a fee. Fans on the dance floor to keep us cool into the early hours, music on request and also come if it’s your birthday because they do a celebration!

Used to love this place and was visiting a lot but last night experience made me never visit it again. I went out with few friends we had a drinks and we was dancing, when at some point 2 security guards told me to leave. I was tipsy but not that drunk to kick me out there was a lot people that were way more drunker than me and no one said anything to them. I didn’t want to argue because I found it quite humiliating and at this point just wanted to leave. When I got out I realised in all that rush I forgot my blazer with my house keys. Staff on entrance was ridiculously rude and aggressive, at no point I argued with them or screamed for them to behave like that. They refused to let me in to get my house keys even if I explained them I just want my keys and go home. It came to point where I had to call police and even than when police asked to pass phone to staff members to speak to them they were refusing and screaming at me. Never had such an experience in my life, definitely not recommending this place. Avoid at all cost!

Last night, my friends and I were at your establishment enjoying our night out when one of my friends was escorted out by TWO security guards on the grounds that she was allegedly too intoxicated. ( This was absolutely over the top) anyway,while I understand the importance of maintaining safety, the manner in which she was treated by security was deeply disrespectful and unnecessary. After we had exited, my friend realized she had left her blazer inside, which contained her flat keys. We returned to request assistance in retrieving her belongings. However, when I attempted to signal to the security staff, he was apparently very busy to notice me, so I started to wawe with my hands to catch his attention, the guard responded aggressively, shouting at me and questioning my actions and how dare I do this to him, I explained the situation calmly, highlighting the urgency of my friend retrieving her keys so she could safely return home, but both guards displayed a complete lack of understanding or empathy. We had to call the police and explain them the situation,that was the only way when they started to take it seriously. The female security staff member I interacted with was particularly unhelpful. Despite our clear explanation, we were not allowed to go back inside, and the stuff did very small effort to retrieve the items for us. This situation left my friend in a vulnerable position. Denying someone access to their essential belongings, especially when it involves safety, is not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. I feel compelled to raise awareness of this incident, as this behavior does not align with basic standards of hospitality and security. I hope you will take the necessary steps to address this issue and ensure that future interactions between security staff are handled with the respect and consideration they deserve.

Brilliant live music venue. Great for dancing. Quite crowded later on.

Great atmosphere. Everyone singing to life music played by a band with two pianos, drums, bass, guitar and saxo!

Disappointed. The toilet attendant was very aggressive last night, demanded a minimum £5 tip. We won’t be going back.

I don’t know why anyone would come here. £15 for the pleasure of standing around waiting for overpriced drinks. Don’t understand why you have to pay to get in as the place is heaving so they’re get their bucks. The only reprieve was a semi decent DJ who played some good songs when the band needed a break. Otherwise avoid at all costs. Also, the security act like they are protecting the US president, I hope they find a better job.

Their standard measure for a shot is 50ml (so a double). Bartender threatened that I’d never be served again after asking for a vodka lemonade using the free drink token (limited to 25ml) which he then poured as a double and tried to charge me £14.

We spent 4 hours at the Piano Works Farringdon on Saturday for a bottomless brunch. We had a fantastic time. Great service and value for money. We never had to ask for a refill. We will definitely be back! The lead singer and band were great and performed nearly all our requests...even the ones they'd never done before. Very talented musicians! Top tip - take some cash as the band will prioritise your requests. We only had £10 between the 8 of us and still had lots of our requests performed but we felt bad not being able to tip.

This was a really good experience. First time visiting. Food and music do go hand in hand. If you like a social crowd after or during your meal as well as it not being invasive, then this is the place for you.

Had the best night ever here, celebrating my birthday with old friends, the musicians were so talented, the food was delicious, the team working there was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. The DJ played songs that took me back to my clubbing years, loved it!!!! I didn't stop smiling all night.

We've been there for a small event and had a private bar area booked by a friendly couple, it's definitely a place you should visit. The atmosphere, the drinks and cocktails and the music combined offer an amazing night out. They do have happy hour on some days as well.

Such a fun dinner celebration! Thanks to our waitress, Jefflyn for the great service provided. She was super friendly and attentive! The burrata and the salmon were delicious and beautifully presented, Chef really paid attention to detail. The live music was a bonus, perfect setting for an elevated dinner experience.

Came here for my brothers birthday brunch and had a fabulous time!!! We got a welcomed drink to start before the rest of the party showed up and then carried on being served by Jefflyn who was incredibly attentive with filling up our drinks and clearing our food away. Would defo go back 😄

This is a great little venue and the musicians are excellent. Food was also delicious. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the setup can be a little confusing once you have finished eating and also you are expected to tip in the loos to use the basic amenities which I didn’t like and felt pressurised.

We booked an evening table on a Saturday night for 2 people. Our server, Fabio, was brilliant. He was so attentive and polite! The music was good and the band was very talented, although they did play about 4 songs twice in the few hours that we were there, which was a bit of a shame because they had so many requests. The other thing we found a bit odd was the band repeatedly saying that cash tips got your song request put to the front, and pointing out where the nearest ATM was. Just made it a bit of a weird vibe and also made it seem pointless requesting songs if you weren’t tipping too. Totally understand why they ask for tips of course, but maybe Piano Works should say all song requests have to have a tip? Or remove the tipping of the band? The music was really good though and lots of people were up dancing, and it was busy in there by 11pm. Loads of cocktails to choose from and food was good.

We came for bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday and had such a fun time! Our waiter Fabio was absolutely amazing, really attentive service and made the experience extremely pleasant. The food was good and music was really fun. It is quite loud in the venue but we didn’t mind this.

A work colleague recommended the place to us. The venue was quite hot, but they did their best with large fans. However, there were only 2-3 bartenders, resulting in a long queue for drinks. The drinks were heavily watered down, and as a lightweight drinker who usually feels the effects of alcohol within 10-15 minutes, I could definitely tell. I also noticed they underpoured the alcohol and filled the rest with ice for cocktails that cost over £11. The venue featured a live band that took requests, with a DJ playing during their breaks. While the DJ had some good tunes, their transitions between tracks were not smooth, often changing songs when they reached the hook or chorus. One highlight was when they called out people celebrating birthdays to the front and congratulated them with a song.

Good atmosphere when it gets busy but £10 per person at 9:15 to find it dead was a bit excessive and disappointing. I'm sure you didn't used to have to pay before 10pm.

I visited for a friend’s birthday and had a really good time. We pre ordered (and paid) for our meal and had a booth with a great view of the stage. We were lucky enough to make it in time for happy hour meaning I spent £50 for a fantastic night of entertainment. The watermelon starter (vegan option) was well presented and the vegan burger was very tasty. The pianist/vocalist early in the evening was brilliant and played a superb version of “Say you’ll be there” by the Spice girls and we our waiter Sean was equally awesome singing some Stevie Wonder for us with a voice that was very mature and soulful. I would definitely recommend this as a great night out. The only thing I found unusual was having a box of tissues and a mini bin by each urinal. (Something I haven’t seen anywhere else)

I wouldn't bother with this place and I can tell you why.... 7 guys on a stag do, 2 in there 60s, 3 mid 30s school friends with one living in Australia and the other 2 living on each end of the country, and a younger brother who 23 and a guy who doesn't drink. We were out celebrating for many reasons and haven't been with each other for at least two years so we were looking for fun, good times, a night to remember and to make memories , well it was a night to remember but for the wrong reasons. After paying for two cabs from Liverpool Street Station to get this to this place after paying/booking in advance we kinda planed our evening around this place. We arrived and as soon as we got there the bouncer and manager refused to let us in. The reason was cause the younger one was apparently "too drunk" pointing him out, considering he only had one pint before we thought he was joking. To prove he weren't we made him do the alphabet backwards which he successfully did in front of everyone, which personally I thought it was impressive to do. We all high five him for doing so but this clearly upset the manager even more for proving him wrong that he weren't drunk. Still refusing we asked for our deposit back which was refused and really frustrating. Not only did that ruining the atmosphere but it ruined the whole night, the youngest one was almost in tears cause he thought he ruined the stag which we told he not to worry about. It definitely changed the atmosphere considering there were no hard feelings towards him. Anyways, I would avoid this place if you can otherwise your night will be ruined. Thanks for giving us negative memories and if I could give you minus I would.

Lovely casual piano bar listening to piano and sing and a light dance all in one. There are good selection of cocktails and mocktails and light foods the singing quality is not best but great for group hanging if not seriously listen to music.

A cross between a piano and a karaoke bar, the idea is good but some people's loud screaming wasn't my idea of a piano bar. Cocktails are good 👍

Great place for listening some great live music.

Great music and good experience for a party... Would say place is run down, needs attention as it looks like a 1970s batcave. Staff do not look like they want to be there. We paid lunchtime bottomless drinks (and a burger) £50 each. It's £7 for desert on top + tip.

Came here on a Friday night for my friend's birthday celebrations. Music was amazing all night. They do a really good happy hour (including 2-4-1 cocktails), bar staff were all fab and super friendly. Shout out to Chris for the cocktails and mocktails!

Excellent live music by the in house band, drinks a tad expensive but the atmosphere made up for it, only 4 stars due to giving the band a request (with tip) only to have it played by the DJ 😑 slightly disappointing.

I went to the bar to order a drink. I wanted about 10 minutes in front of the barman to order. He didn’t care one bit and kept on preparing drinks over drinks. Then I gave up and sat at my table. With this kind of service, you’ll lose more business. Just telling. (The reason for 3 stars instead of 1 star is the live music) Edit: I also wrote on Tripadvisor about being given a table which is on the side and we waited over 1,5 hours for a food order. Keep this in mind The Piano Works Farringdon. Doing this a few times more, you'll get more feedback like this and this will lead more loss of business. You're in service business, not "I don't care" business!

Fun evening! We got a table to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed the music very much (especially since there were a lot of 80s and 90s hits! :)). Food was also much better than expected! Tuna was especially excellent (though a little bizarre that they told us there was only one left and then the people at another table also got it even though they ordered after we did).

Fantastic place with a good atmosphere, especially if you like live music. Very friendly staff. Pleasant music while eating. Enjoyed the house band afterwards. Definitely recommended to go here if you are in London.

I recently booked a corporate event at The Piano Works and our server who looked after us, Jefflyn, was outstanding. She was always on hand to help out and answer any questions we had. She made our night very enjoyable! The music and performers were amazing, they played a great variety of songs. Will definitely be back!

Smoking area leaves a lot to be desired.

I have been going a few weeks now, I really like the atmosphere and the fact that you don’t know what music you will get. We got on the guest list so paid 1/2 price to get In, the only downside is you have to be there between 8&9 which is a bit too early for a night out. I have never had any trouble there and I love the fact that free water is available at the bar, that is definitely a plus in my book. It’s an all round great place to go with your friends.

Brilliant birthday spot to celebrate with friends! We went here as a family (sis/ mum/ nephew) hoping for a fun and easy afternoon to celebrate a birthday, it did not disappoint. I had read some reviews about the food so wasn't expecting much, WRONG! The food was tasty, plentiful and everything we needed. The drinks were free flowing and our waiter couldn't have been better, he was attentive, quick and a great server. Would recommend for a bunch of friends or family celebrating or just looking for a fun Saturday arvo! Thanks Piano Works, really enjoyable time!! Music was excellent and we got a lot of our song choices played too, really varied and brilliant!

Was a lot of fun. It is very load so don't go if you want a nice chat over brunch. They do ask for payment as soon as you get there which can be quite confronting but you can understand why, would be difficult to get payment from a load of drunk people. The food was good. Drinks were regularly topped up. It was a bit of a tight fit for all of us and there were not enough seats for us when we first got there but was sorted in the end.

The Rosé Prosecco was possibly the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. To be charged £40 felt like an absolute joke, not one in our group could stomach finishing their glass, let alone the bottle. Total waste of money. Also want to point out that the attendant in the bathroom was also super pushy about a tip, I felt so pressured and it made me feel really uncomfortable each time I went to the bathroom.

I didn’t have the food - rating is on the drink quality. Drinks were poor- beer tasted flat and as if the keg lines hadn’t been cleaned for a decade. Cocktails could have mixed in a bucket in the back with a bag of sugar and bulk alcohol, not sure. Music was entertaining but wasn’t quite the piano bar we expected - more of a live music hoedown. Good crowd - mixed hen and birthday party; mixed ages which was nice. Had indicated it was our anniversary and they brought us both birthday wishes. Oh well.

Such a fun night and such a fun place. A live band that absolutely killed it and played purely audience requests all night. Even when they might not know the song, they’ll look it up and learn it on the spot! Incredibly impressive and incredibly fun. One of my favourite nights out

Found by chance but won’t be returning. More security than an airport. Once inside the welcome team couldn’t have been any less interested to greet or seat us. We got seated right at the back, on the thoroughfare to the toilets and kitchen impacting the view of the stage and also the dining experience. The Bar Menu was available “all day” according to the text printed on it however we were forced to ordered from the set menu. This left the vegan and vegetarian options incredibly limited. Drinks were average at best (we returned one of them only to find it still on the bill later). A couple arrived at the table next to us but were left with only one seat…. We offered our spare to them as the waiting staff were doing nothing about it. The decor is dated and tatty. After such a disappointing experience, we asked for the voluntary service charge to be removed from the bill and from that second the waitress became did the bare minimum she could. Threw the updated receipt on the table and totally ignored us as we made our way back through the bar to the exit.

Check your bill thoroughly! We went to the early sitting on a Friday evening which is a pretty good deal. The food is good and the drinks are half price. The vibe picks up as the night goes along. We only had two hours before the table was required back so felt a bit rushed towards the end but that was made clear when booking so all fine there. To make it easier on the night, when our bill arrived I paid it in full with a view to splitting it with our group later (there were 7 of us). We checked the bill and everything listed on there was correct. The amount looked about right, so I paid it. However, when later split the bill up the total charged was approximately 10% than the items listed on it. This was not service charge, which was listed. I contacted Piano works who agreed that the bill did not add up, they couldn't explain why and they would look into it. This was several months ago and they have ignored my follow up emails, hence I feel that I have little option but to leave this review. So if you are thinking about going there, I'd recommend the experience but check your bill thoroughly - make them wait whilst you do so - and don't expect any customer service after they have taken your money!

Drink service was quite slow, but the vibe curated by the live music was unbeatable! A great weekend night out!

Came here with a group of friends. We are all a little older than the average age group but wow what a fantastic place!! The band were playing some brilliant tunes. The atmosphere was electric. Totally recommend.

We booked a table on a Friday night and the service/ food was average to poor. We were served 2 drinks during our 2 hour booking with our first drink arriving 25 minutes in to our booking- not good. The fish was overcooked and the burgers were nothing special. Portions were a little on the small side. We all felt the waiting staff had other priorities on what wasn't a busy time of the evening. Music was great but again let down with the fact that you won't get anything played unless you are tipping the music staff. Great atmosphere once we could serve ourselves at the bar. We would go back for a drink next time.

We had a great view of the stage and the music was absolutely banging. Such talents musicians. The food was brilliant too. The table basically had the lamb and it was delicious. Proper party atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We went to The Piano Works for a team night on Tuesday. What can I say?! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was just electric. Such a great vibe, fun and interactive - the pianists, singers and band were truly amazing and the staff did a fabulous job of looking after us throughout the night. Thank you so much for everything, we will come again!

The best experience I've ever had in London. I love this place. The place is really cool and hits the spot in terms of decor and atmosphere for real music and food lovers who want to have a brilliant time, a unique experience but with some class, although not feeling posh, still very cool, trendy and sets the mood for a great night. The food is excellent, we really book for the music so wasn't expecting the food to be so outstanding to be honest, was super impressed. Absolutely delicious. Now we come to the main point - the music and the unique musical experience. It's incredible. I simply am in total awe of the musicians, the extent of their repertoires and their talent. There were moments our jaws were on the floor and when I say "our" - I mean the entire audience! Firstly a fantastic piano player and singer stars who is really great - he looked young so I was surprised at the amount of talent and competence. Then we are surprised by another voice in the next song, look around and it's a waitress with a mic and her voice is stunning - they're absolute professionals. Being able to put in requests and they seem to know everything keeps you sticking around and each waitress had a unique and beautiful voice so it was exciting to have them take turns. Then a band came on and they were great, they really got everyone out of their seats and the place started getting lively. The singer on the piano sounded live a recording of Beyonce singing live. Where do they find all this incredible talent? It was my husband's 40th birthday and I've never seen him enjoy himself so much. We'll be coming again and again. My favourite place in London

A really fun night and the music is amazing. My only complaint is that the mocktails are the same price as the regular cocktails: and on top of that, they apparently aren’t part of the 2-4-1 offers they have. I paid £14 for a fancy fruit juice. Slightly ridiculous when everyone else had 2-4-1 margaritas (so basically half the price!)

What an atmosphere! The staff were great and really helpful. We were a large party and I needed to change the pre-ordered food on the night and they could not have been more helpful. Live music was fabulous and the food good too. Would highly recommend for a great evening.

Great for music, good for drinks, average for food. The music was great and the band (s) were very entertaining. You do queue and tussle at the bar but it’s busy so can expect a bit of that. The area for eating is a small corridor of heavy traffic, even restaurant/ bar deliveries going past regularly and fold out chairs. You are not near the music, it’s only on screens and I just don’t think it suits the venue. The menu is very small and they didn’t even have everything available.

We booked a table from 5 to 7pm. Padron peppers and little hamburgers were delicious. Although the service of Ricardo was absolutely great, I have to leave this review due to the security lady; we wanted to have more drinks by standing. However, it was almost impossible to enjoy the ambience as that lady came in each second to tell us to put our bags onto the shoulder (a little bag!) She was extremely disturbing and aggressive.

Food was OK, but the pianist was rude. He kept saying he had played our songs. Three hours in and he had only played one. He also said at one point " nope we had too many from table 6" this was an hour in and we had 1 song, it was half empty. At another point he said "not another one from table 6". We came for my sisters birthday and it was a shame to not have any of her songs played. I'm really disappointed.

We came as a birthday treat. The food portions were very small (not what I expect from £20pp for food in the early bird deal), tasty but we had to go out and get more food afterwards and we aren't even big eaters. We order 3 drinks each on the happy hour deal, however when the receipt came we were charged full price plus a random beer had been added to our receipt which we had to get taken off. The receipt says 12.5% service charge, however I didn't realise until I got home that the service charge adds up to 22% not 12.5% so we were overcharged on that. We were told 15 mins before the end of our booking time that we had to pay up and vacate our table soon as they need the table. But then after we left the table they packed it up and put it away so it wasn't actually needed they just didn't want us there. We went to stand near the pianist, my friend put her bag on the little shelf that was on the side and was told by two separate members of staff that this was not allowed we must put it in the cloakroom (the venue was pretty empty since it was midweek and as someone who is disabled holding a bag for a long period of time is difficult, so we decided that we should just leave rather than buying more drinks as we were made to feel uncomfortable). The musicians were fantastic and our original waitress was very nice. It's just a shame that as soon as your original booking is over you're treated like crap by the staff.

A great late night bar / club where a very talented house band blasts out awesome covers of every sort of music. Yes, there are drinks and maybe even snacks ( though I didn't see any) but the real fun is dancing along with such an eclectic mix of tunes.
