Our sever FABIO was amazing! So attentive and friendly. We accidentally booked the wrong venue and they accommodated us last minute with a table for two. Got a dinner table 5.30-7.30pm. Food was excellent - for the price it was so so good. We ordered burrata starter and steak main - both delicious but the steak was especially good (a medium rare was actually a medium rare). Live music was excellent. Great for a food and cocktail date night. Would definitely come back.

Enjoyed my time here - very helpful and welcoming members of staff. Not bad in terms of drinks prices, music was great and wasn't too loud from when I was there (6-9pm) so able to converse while also enjoying the music and the great atmosphere. Would visit again!

Booked the table for a specific time but refused entry on the door at 8:35-8:46 on Friday. Security officer was very rude and mentioned that booking the table doesn’t mean anything and asked us to wait for an hour because they let many people in already. Bit confused what’s the reservation website for… NEVER REPLIED AFTER THIS

Really enjoyable few hours for a bottomless brunch hen party. Great ambience, good food & great service. Our waiter Fabio was very attentive & friendly! The band and singers were excellent and were taking requests. Only slight feedback would be maybe try and include requests from all tables, as none got played from our table & we submitted at least 7! Otherwise highly recommend.

Has the makings of a fun night out. Great concept and the band work really hard. Bar staff were a bit unfriendly and cocktails felt a bit small tbh. There is a cloakroom when you walk in. In any case I was there only at the start of the evening so enjoyed the 5-7pm happy hour. The piano starts around 5.30ish. Was quiet early on but if you stay late it will liven up. Almost all tables are reserved. Previous attempts to enter later in the evening were always greeted with a demand for entry fees at the door. I never paid the entry as it’s a bit cheeky when drinks and food inside aren’t cheap.

Loved celebrating my birthday here. First experience and definitely will come back. Fabio, our waiter served our reasonably priced, tasty food and was extremely helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and he even checked in on us on the dance floor to ensure we were having a great time. The pianist during the meal was talented and the band excellent, with an ability of playing an array of different music genres to dance along to. Highly recommend this place for a great night out and looking forward to returning again soon - thanks!!

Was here the other week and was so disappointed with the attitude from a particular member of staff. I misplaced my phone and had to go back the next day to collect it and it showed on location that it was in the venue. When I arrived I was treated extremely rudely by a female manager, no one helped me and she told other members of staff to stop talking to me. I spent a fortune the night before and it would have been nice to be treated with respect during a clearly very stressful situation for myself. I found her on LinkedIn, her name is Ugne - I advise you send her on a customer service training course and to serve with a smile.

Went there on a Monday night for a corporate event, so we had the place to ourselves for a drinks reception, but what a place. Will definitely come back, great drink selection for those who like alcohol free options and Alice on the piano was amazing, able to play anything you asked for from Brittany Spears to the Beatles to my favourite piano track - cornflake girl. The band came on at 9pm and kept the vibe going and were also brilliant. Will be back to check out the vibe on a normal night.

Went for drinks with a group of friends and the atmosphere was great with live music as well.

Despite having booked over a month in advance, we were given a table with 3 seats for 11 people. Not even enough space to put our bags down. There were smaller parties with larger capacity tables. I think if we were walk-ins we might have actually had a chance at a better table. Following a conversation with the manager asking for more space, we were then sat at the back section of the establishment, which was dark and dingy and only had a view of the pianos on a highly pixelated screen. The sofas also lined the edges of the room, so there was no way we could all face each other - if you wanted to chat it was restricted to the one or two people next to you. Staff were also impatient and rude from the outset - giving us attitude and not willing to wait for us whilst a last few of us (myself included) handed in our coats in the cloakroom… it is the height of winter in January! Everyone we spoke to was defensive and not open to understanding or listening to us. My friend arrived about 10 minutes late and was forewarned that there had been “a bit of a table issue” at the door, which felt immature and unprofessional. The only reason we didn’t walk out immediately is that I had preordered 2 of overpriced bottles of Prosecco (£36 for each bottle.. only to then have to proactively ask for them to be opened and be handed glasses). After finishing our drinks in record speed, we ended up leaving and going to a Be At One, where at least we were able to sit down, face and talk to each other, and have some semblance of customer service. An overall very unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience. I wouldn’t visit again but if you are planning to visit, I would suggest maybe casually - I don’t recommend booking for a special occasion as you’ll likely be disappointed.

The band MADE this visit…we were on the brunch so £55 pp for 2 hour’s unlimited drink & 2 courses. Our food was barely warm, chips were cold & we never got offered our second course at all. Servers were covering too many tables so hard to get hold of etc. Made multiple song requests to the band which were ignored until you tipped- then played straight away. Brunch stipulated ended at 4, but the bar was open until 5…we were very rudely told to hurry up & leave as they had another event on. Overall would not return.

Tremendous atmosphere in a quiet part of central London. Drinks were rather expensive and pretty watery but you are in London after all.

£77 for two New Year’s Eve tickets to celebrate our wedding last week to be farmed into a tiny back bar with two pixelated screen showing the stage and one barman slaving over a queue six deep while every inch of the venue had been covered in cheap white clothed tables where pre-pubescent penguins slurped soupy starters. We’re then told we’d have to wait in the cupboard bar for 90 mins until 9.30pm but by 8.30pm most bow-tied dinner guests were still on starters and there was no chance of a giggle and a dance before the at the earliest. Felt like we’d gate crashed a wedding, Even in the small area we were herded into, staff were flying through with large trays of food. Yet again, greed wins over substance and one of my favourite live music venues has sold its soul to the cash cow that is New Year’s Eve! Couldn’t be more disappointed and won’t ever waste my time again! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We had a relatively expensive dinner and exactly at the end of the booked timeslot we have been asked to move to a different table which is understandable. The new table was then marked as reserved few minutes laternand asked to leave shortly after seated. So we left and we probably won't return like ever.

I experienced a lovely time there with my work colleagues for our christmas meal. The entetainment was thoroughly enjoyable. I wouldve preferred more light in the reataurant and bigger portions of food, but that is my personal preference. Otherwise a wondeful experience and definitely worth a visit.😀

Didn't stay long. Arrived at 10pm and surrounded by a lot of young, drunk people. Shortly after I left I had been told a fight broke out between a group of people nearby in the bar. This bar is not my vibe....

14/12/2024 was our booking. Booking was easy £10 deposit per person table booked from 730 till 1030pm Pre ordered our food times confirmed they said don’t be late. We arrived on time and it was very busy as it’s Christmas so I get that. We got seated around 750pm they started serving food around 815 830pm No complaints about food or service very nice young man who was great, however they presented the bill at 910pm we didn’t even get an hour at the table, this really annoyed me so I showed all my emails regarding booking clearly showing 730-1030 apparently they had us down for brunch so that’s less time but we didn’t even get an hour so that’s floored too. I showed all my emails to prove otherwise. So we paid the bill and they moved us to smaller table and there was 6 of us. Lovely girl called Amber said we could have the new smaller table till 1030 then we were asked to move again. Obviously I made a fuss and said this is actually ridiculous now and they made the table even smaller for 2 people so that they could seat the new people arriving. I get it’s Christmas and it does get busy but I’ve never experienced anything like this before not even at Christmas. Fantastic band and a great concept but would I go back or recommend? doubt it, the whole moving us after not even been able to have desert and even having one hour at the table is a no no for me You at least move us to a table for 6 so that we could complete our time and our food. This spoilt our experience there whilst new people started theirs we lost out. Not having the table for the time they agreed is poorly managed. They seemed to blame the booking team makes no sense at all as I booked this months ago and the booking team communicated with me perfectly Very disappointing

Ruined our second Xmas work night in row, this year we booked entry for 8pm and when we arrived they said we could get in but recommended we pop over the road for one drink and come back. When we returned they refused us entry and said we’d have to wait until at least 10pm or later to get in so pre/booking gave us no benefit over walk-ins. What’s the point of booking? What’s the point of following the bouncers recommendations? In past experiences it’s been really fun there and had a good time, but 2x times now this has happened to our staff on Xmas nights out and we certainly will not be trying again. I highly recommend that anyone who wants to go here on a staff/work night out avoids as even if you book tickets you may not get in.

Great atmosphere. Everyone singing to life music played by a band with two pianos, drums, bass, guitar and saxo! Sound quality was not great though this time and could be improved with a sound engineer.

I had to edit this review after our second visit to Piano works. We booked a company Christmas lunch at Piano Works Farringdon and had high expectations, as we’ve been here before, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. First, we were seated next to the toilets and kitchen, which was not ideal for a festive occasion. The food was also below par—several colleagues ordered steak, and none of them enjoyed it. To make matters worse, despite arriving at 12:30 pm, we were told we had to leave by 2 pm (which was informed before) however, we were served very slowly. When they asked us to leave, we did not finish dessert and the drinks… Overall, this was not the experience we hoped for, and we wouldn’t recommend it for group events.

We were here this weekend for a Bottomless Brunch and really recommend. The service was excellent, special mention to our waitress, Joanna. Really on top of refills and friendly and polite! The music was great and created such a good atmosphere! WE had a great time and didn't want to leave!

Live music, a fantastic night at Piano works. The service was very good, and staff friendly. I must mention the security staff were great. Food a tad on the average side but think this can be difficult when serving for large groups around Christmas. The band was fabulous. Would recommend.

We wanted to find a music venue and found The Piano Works. As we had arrived after 8pm, it was £15 each to get in. Once inside, drinks were also £15 each although that was for a double measure of spirits. The music was great and the band took and played many song requests. It was a very good atmosphere and would return again.

It's just an awful place to have an Xmas party. Communication with the venue was truly difficult - the worst in all my years of organising events. The staff on the day all seemed like they hated their jobs. The pianists didn't interact with the crowd at all. After food, we were hammed into a tiny area, which was too small for the number of people.

Estoy con muletas y hay un ascensor al lado de las escaleras, cuando mi colega le preguntó si podíamos usar el ascensor dijo que solo se usa para transportar ganado. Luego presionó el botón de todos modos y las puertas se abrieron para encontrar el ascensor utilizado como sala de palos estaba lleno de cosas a las que el portero (que era muy amable) nos informó de que no hay muchas escaleras de todos modos. Las escaleras no son un problema para el cuerpo capaz - cualquier escalera es un problema para aquellos que luchan por subir y bajar. También me hubiera gustado que los cantantes estuvieran vestidos bien, parecía que estuvieran vestidos para ir a Tesco. Está bien para una visita, pero no volveré. Ah y también solo se puede elegir un entrante y principal para los dos platos y postres son extra. Usted puede recoger mucho curso que desee, que también es una toma de dinero barato.

Myself and the group found the staff here extremely rude, bar Nathan our waiter who was professional and polite as anything; and the security even worse. If you aren’t of a certain clientele, don’t even bother. The staff made it very clear we weren’t welcome despite our 30+ people booking.

Came here for a brunch as a group of three and we were shoved on a table round the corner, next to the toilets and completely out of view of the main area and stage - so we didn’t get the same experience as those in the main area at all. There was a TV screen in the corner but this wasn’t on. When we raised this with our waitress she got extremely combative and then just ignored us for the rest of the duration. I really feel like these tables should be offered at a discounted rate for a restricted view, and the people told prior as it was really disappointing.

Do not use the free cloakroom unless you want your stuff stolen :)

I recently attended a bottomless brunch at Piano Works, and it was nothing short of exceptional! I booked this place for a night out with my sister, and we danced and loved the band so much.

I didn't eat so I can't comment but service and atmosphere were incredible. Only reason not a five star review is the prices. Get there and make the most of happy hour!

Loved it but will never eat again. £90 for two courses and no drinks for two because of the service charge. And the foods worse than wetherspoons much worse. But the band well and truly made up for it. What a great night

A friend booked for five people but we got shoved around a small 2 person table and when we asked for an extra chair they "couldn't find any" and staff member was quite rude about it. When we had an issue with one of the chairs we did have they miraculously found another one so I don't think the first staff member was telling the truth. They kept clearing our drinks before we were finished. The food wasn't great. Lastly and this is obviously subjective but I really disliked the musical experience, it felt like listening to bad covers of songs I liked and made me wonder why I wasn't just listening to the originals

Vibey live music bar and nightclub. Plenty of areas to hang out and chat or dance near the live music. Many bar areas to get decently priced cocktails. Coat and bag check possible for a fee. Fans on the dance floor to keep us cool into the early hours, music on request and also come if it’s your birthday because they do a celebration!

Last night, my friends and I were at your establishment enjoying our night out when one of my friends was escorted out by TWO security guards on the grounds that she was allegedly too intoxicated. ( This was absolutely over the top) anyway,while I understand the importance of maintaining safety, the manner in which she was treated by security was deeply disrespectful and unnecessary. After we had exited, my friend realized she had left her blazer inside, which contained her flat keys. We returned to request assistance in retrieving her belongings. However, when I attempted to signal to the security staff, he was apparently very busy to notice me, so I started to wawe with my hands to catch his attention, the guard responded aggressively, shouting at me and questioning my actions and how dare I do this to him, I explained the situation calmly, highlighting the urgency of my friend retrieving her keys so she could safely return home, but both guards displayed a complete lack of understanding or empathy. We had to call the police and explain them the situation,that was the only way when they started to take it seriously. The female security staff member I interacted with was particularly unhelpful. Despite our clear explanation, we were not allowed to go back inside, and the stuff did very small effort to retrieve the items for us. This situation left my friend in a vulnerable position. Denying someone access to their essential belongings, especially when it involves safety, is not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. I feel compelled to raise awareness of this incident, as this behavior does not align with basic standards of hospitality and security. I hope you will take the necessary steps to address this issue and ensure that future interactions between security staff are handled with the respect and consideration they deserve.

Used to love this place and was visiting a lot but last night experience made me never visit it again. I went out with few friends we had a drinks and we was dancing, when at some point 2 security guards told me to leave. I was tipsy but not that drunk to kick me out there was a lot people that were way more drunker than me and no one said anything to them. I didn’t want to argue because I found it quite humiliating and at this point just wanted to leave. When I got out I realised in all that rush I forgot my blazer with my house keys. Staff on entrance was ridiculously rude and aggressive, at no point I argued with them or screamed for them to behave like that. They refused to let me in to get my house keys even if I explained them I just want my keys and go home. It came to point where I had to call police and even than when police asked to pass phone to staff members to speak to them they were refusing and screaming at me. Never had such an experience in my life, definitely not recommending this place. Avoid at all cost!

Disappointed. The toilet attendant was very aggressive last night, demanded a minimum £5 tip. We won’t be going back.

I don’t know why anyone would come here. £15 for the pleasure of standing around waiting for overpriced drinks. Don’t understand why you have to pay to get in as the place is heaving so they’re get their bucks. The only reprieve was a semi decent DJ who played some good songs when the band needed a break. Otherwise avoid at all costs. Also, the security act like they are protecting the US president, I hope they find a better job.

Their standard measure for a shot is 50ml (so a double). Bartender threatened that I’d never be served again after asking for a vodka lemonade using the free drink token (limited to 25ml) which he then poured as a double and tried to charge me £14.

Had the best night ever here, celebrating my birthday with old friends, the musicians were so talented, the food was delicious, the team working there was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. The DJ played songs that took me back to my clubbing years, loved it!!!! I didn't stop smiling all night.

We spent 4 hours at the Piano Works Farringdon on Saturday for a bottomless brunch. We had a fantastic time. Great service and value for money. We never had to ask for a refill. We will definitely be back! The lead singer and band were great and performed nearly all our requests...even the ones they'd never done before. Very talented musicians! Top tip - take some cash as the band will prioritise your requests. We only had £10 between the 8 of us and still had lots of our requests performed but we felt bad not being able to tip.

This was a really good experience. First time visiting. Food and music do go hand in hand. If you like a social crowd after or during your meal as well as it not being invasive, then this is the place for you.

We've been there for a small event and had a private bar area booked by a friendly couple, it's definitely a place you should visit. The atmosphere, the drinks and cocktails and the music combined offer an amazing night out. They do have happy hour on some days as well.

Such a fun dinner celebration! Thanks to our waitress, Jefflyn for the great service provided. She was super friendly and attentive! The burrata and the salmon were delicious and beautifully presented, Chef really paid attention to detail. The live music was a bonus, perfect setting for an elevated dinner experience.

Came here for my brothers birthday brunch and had a fabulous time!!! We got a welcomed drink to start before the rest of the party showed up and then carried on being served by Jefflyn who was incredibly attentive with filling up our drinks and clearing our food away. Would defo go back 😄

This is a great little venue and the musicians are excellent. Food was also delicious. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the setup can be a little confusing once you have finished eating and also you are expected to tip in the loos to use the basic amenities which I didn’t like and felt pressurised.

We booked an evening table on a Saturday night for 2 people. Our server, Fabio, was brilliant. He was so attentive and polite! The music was good and the band was very talented, although they did play about 4 songs twice in the few hours that we were there, which was a bit of a shame because they had so many requests. The other thing we found a bit odd was the band repeatedly saying that cash tips got your song request put to the front, and pointing out where the nearest ATM was. Just made it a bit of a weird vibe and also made it seem pointless requesting songs if you weren’t tipping too. Totally understand why they ask for tips of course, but maybe Piano Works should say all song requests have to have a tip? Or remove the tipping of the band? The music was really good though and lots of people were up dancing, and it was busy in there by 11pm. Loads of cocktails to choose from and food was good.

We came for bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday and had such a fun time! Our waiter Fabio was absolutely amazing, really attentive service and made the experience extremely pleasant. The food was good and music was really fun. It is quite loud in the venue but we didn’t mind this.

A work colleague recommended the place to us. The venue was quite hot, but they did their best with large fans. However, there were only 2-3 bartenders, resulting in a long queue for drinks. The drinks were heavily watered down, and as a lightweight drinker who usually feels the effects of alcohol within 10-15 minutes, I could definitely tell. I also noticed they underpoured the alcohol and filled the rest with ice for cocktails that cost over £11. The venue featured a live band that took requests, with a DJ playing during their breaks. While the DJ had some good tunes, their transitions between tracks were not smooth, often changing songs when they reached the hook or chorus. One highlight was when they called out people celebrating birthdays to the front and congratulated them with a song.
