The Piano Works in Islington

I have been going a few weeks now, I really like the atmosphere and the fact that you don’t know what music you will get. We got on the guest list so paid 1/2 price to get In, the only downside is you have to be there between 8&9 which is a bit too early for a night out. I have never had any trouble there and I love the fact that free water is available at the bar, that is definitely a plus in my book. It’s an all round great place to go with your friends.

Brilliant birthday spot to celebrate with friends! We went here as a family (sis/ mum/ nephew) hoping for a fun and easy afternoon to celebrate a birthday, it did not disappoint. I had read some reviews about the food so wasn't expecting much, WRONG! The food was tasty, plentiful and everything we needed. The drinks were free flowing and our waiter couldn't have been better, he was attentive, quick and a great server. Would recommend for a bunch of friends or family celebrating or just looking for a fun Saturday arvo! Thanks Piano Works, really enjoyable time!! Music was excellent and we got a lot of our song choices played too, really varied and brilliant!

Found by chance but won’t be returning. More security than an airport. Once inside the welcome team couldn’t have been any less interested to greet or seat us. We got seated right at the back, on the thoroughfare to the toilets and kitchen impacting the view of the stage and also the dining experience. The Bar Menu was available “all day” according to the text printed on it however we were forced to ordered from the set menu. This left the vegan and vegetarian options incredibly limited. Drinks were average at best (we returned one of them only to find it still on the bill later). A couple arrived at the table next to us but were left with only one seat…. We offered our spare to them as the waiting staff were doing nothing about it. The decor is dated and tatty. After such a disappointing experience, we asked for the voluntary service charge to be removed from the bill and from that second the waitress became did the bare minimum she could. Threw the updated receipt on the table and totally ignored us as we made our way back through the bar to the exit.

We booked a table on a Friday night and the service/ food was average to poor. We were served 2 drinks during our 2 hour booking with our first drink arriving 25 minutes in to our booking- not good. The fish was overcooked and the burgers were nothing special. Portions were a little on the small side. We all felt the waiting staff had other priorities on what wasn't a busy time of the evening. Music was great but again let down with the fact that you won't get anything played unless you are tipping the music staff. Great atmosphere once we could serve ourselves at the bar. We would go back for a drink next time.

We had a great view of the stage and the music was absolutely banging. Such talents musicians. The food was brilliant too. The table basically had the lamb and it was delicious. Proper party atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had the best time! Joanna was amazing. Attentive, supportive and navigated 20 of us, perfectly. Felt right at home and didn’t have to worry about anything, all night. Thank you, Joanna! We’ll be back for sure..

Staff very helpful lovely lady in the the ladies toilets . Would have been a 5 but I tipped 20 quid and never got my song 😂😂 but great friendly place

We went to The Piano Works for a team night on Tuesday. What can I say?! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was just electric. Such a great vibe, fun and interactive - the pianists, singers and band were truly amazing and the staff did a fabulous job of looking after us throughout the night. Thank you so much for everything, we will come again!

The best experience I've ever had in London. I love this place. The place is really cool and hits the spot in terms of decor and atmosphere for real music and food lovers who want to have a brilliant time, a unique experience but with some class, although not feeling posh, still very cool, trendy and sets the mood for a great night. The food is excellent, we really book for the music so wasn't expecting the food to be so outstanding to be honest, was super impressed. Absolutely delicious. Now we come to the main point - the music and the unique musical experience. It's incredible. I simply am in total awe of the musicians, the extent of their repertoires and their talent. There were moments our jaws were on the floor and when I say "our" - I mean the entire audience! Firstly a fantastic piano player and singer stars who is really great - he looked young so I was surprised at the amount of talent and competence. Then we are surprised by another voice in the next song, look around and it's a waitress with a mic and her voice is stunning - they're absolute professionals. Being able to put in requests and they seem to know everything keeps you sticking around and each waitress had a unique and beautiful voice so it was exciting to have them take turns. Then a band came on and they were great, they really got everyone out of their seats and the place started getting lively. The singer on the piano sounded live a recording of Beyonce singing live. Where do they find all this incredible talent? It was my husband's 40th birthday and I've never seen him enjoy himself so much. We'll be coming again and again. My favourite place in London

A really fun night and the music is amazing. My only complaint is that the mocktails are the same price as the regular cocktails: and on top of that, they apparently aren’t part of the 2-4-1 offers they have. I paid £14 for a fancy fruit juice. Slightly ridiculous when everyone else had 2-4-1 margaritas (so basically half the price!)

What an atmosphere! The staff were great and really helpful. We were a large party and I needed to change the pre-ordered food on the night and they could not have been more helpful. Live music was fabulous and the food good too. Would highly recommend for a great evening.

Great for music, good for drinks, average for food. The music was great and the band (s) were very entertaining. You do queue and tussle at the bar but it’s busy so can expect a bit of that. The area for eating is a small corridor of heavy traffic, even restaurant/ bar deliveries going past regularly and fold out chairs. You are not near the music, it’s only on screens and I just don’t think it suits the venue. The menu is very small and they didn’t even have everything available.

Food was OK, but the pianist was rude. He kept saying he had played our songs. Three hours in and he had only played one. He also said at one point " nope we had too many from table 6" this was an hour in and we had 1 song, it was half empty. At another point he said "not another one from table 6". We came for my sisters birthday and it was a shame to not have any of her songs played. I'm really disappointed.

We booked a table from 5 to 7pm. Padron peppers and little hamburgers were delicious. Although the service of Ricardo was absolutely great, I have to leave this review due to the security lady; we wanted to have more drinks by standing. However, it was almost impossible to enjoy the ambience as that lady came in each second to tell us to put our bags onto the shoulder (a little bag!) She was extremely disturbing and aggressive.

We came as a birthday treat. The food portions were very small (not what I expect from £20pp for food in the early bird deal), tasty but we had to go out and get more food afterwards and we aren't even big eaters. We order 3 drinks each on the happy hour deal, however when the receipt came we were charged full price plus a random beer had been added to our receipt which we had to get taken off. The receipt says 12.5% service charge, however I didn't realise until I got home that the service charge adds up to 22% not 12.5% so we were overcharged on that. We were told 15 mins before the end of our booking time that we had to pay up and vacate our table soon as they need the table. But then after we left the table they packed it up and put it away so it wasn't actually needed they just didn't want us there. We went to stand near the pianist, my friend put her bag on the little shelf that was on the side and was told by two separate members of staff that this was not allowed we must put it in the cloakroom (the venue was pretty empty since it was midweek and as someone who is disabled holding a bag for a long period of time is difficult, so we decided that we should just leave rather than buying more drinks as we were made to feel uncomfortable). The musicians were fantastic and our original waitress was very nice. It's just a shame that as soon as your original booking is over you're treated like crap by the staff.

A great late night bar / club where a very talented house band blasts out awesome covers of every sort of music. Yes, there are drinks and maybe even snacks ( though I didn't see any) but the real fun is dancing along with such an eclectic mix of tunes.

Had an amazing time celebrating my daughter’s Hen Party with “Brunch to the Beat”. The food was delicious and filling and the service was excellent, with our waiter generously keeping our drinks topped up for the 2 hours. The music was lively and entertaining and we had a fabulous afternoon, eating, drinking and dancing. We returned to spend a few more hours later in the evening where we continued to enjoy the entertainment in a convivial atmosphere. We had a memorable day with all attendees commenting favourably afterwards and, most importantly, my daughter had the best time. Thank you.

My wife was mugged for her phone outside by two fellas on a moped within one minute of coming out the venue. From all accounts it sounds like the bouncers were in on it. No smoke without fire after reading a lot of the reviews about security being rough and aggressive with customers in general. Just avoid.

Great live music venue! On the menu, I highly recommend the brownie, it tasted so good!

Celebrated my wife’s bday here, we had a blast. Wasn’t sure what was all about when I booked it, but the song request system made everything really fun. Service was good too.

Booked this place for my 50th Birthday party. 27 of us on Wednesday evening 6 March. Wow! Cannot fault it. What a party! We had the greatest time! The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was delicious, the music & dancing were non-stop, energetic singers and service was top notch.. Thank you Ricardo for looking after my party with no details left unchecked. They let me dress up the table to personalise it. It felt like we owned the dance floor. Thank you very much!! Had a great night here last night for a colleague’s birthday. Security staff were friendly, music was great (especially early on with the solo piano guy and singing waiters) and Kian was fantastic- such a friendly, talented guy who really made our night with great service as soon as we arrived. Thank you Kian on behalf of Paul and us! Only minor issue was the constant clearing of our booth later during the night- we had to keep an eye on our drinks to make sure they weren’t cleared and the clearing staff weren’t particularly friendly- knocking/ pushing into us when passing. But minor compared to an overall great night. Recommend getting there early for half price drinks and the sliders were great.

Discriminative bouncers and management. Rude, arrogant. Pulled them up on a miss pour, 5 minutes later we are kicked out. Do not waste your money here. Music was average and the venue was empty on a Friday night. Much better places to visit in London on a Friday night, don’t waste your time.

The reason to go here is the musicians and the dancing. The absolutely, most fun place to go!!!

Wow. Fantastic idea really well executed. Great staff, superb prices especially during happy hour. I didn’t eat , but the food i saw being served looked excellent. All staff very friendly, looked happy, and some really good singers. Its like a live juke box. Love it. Highly recommended.

Fun place to enjoy the musical gimmick. Staff must be overworked underpaid because they are all passive-aggressive! The security at the front blanked us when trying to ask a question. Another member of staff at the queue was being rude, then one of the bar staff made two cocktails when I clearly asked for one and a beer, then aggressively poured the pint. Also, I'm not a fan of having the "no spray no lay" guy; I don't want to be pressured to pay a tip every time I wash my hands.

We went on Saturday 24/2 to celebrate a family birthday . There were approximately 45 of us and we booked a drinks area. Can’t thank ALL the staff enough for their hard work and in particular our hostess Johanna?? who was brilliant. The band was absolutely fantastic and everyone had a really great evening. Absolutely awful and upsetting experience. Members of our group encountered blatent racism, including from the door staff. After the incident, I reported to the feedback team and requested staff body cam be reviewed (as their conduct will have been captured as evidence). I wanted to give the team the opportunity to correct any genuine mistakes before posting a review, but 3 months later, it has still not been resolved, we have had no apology and even accusations it was our group who were 'aggressive' even though there is coveniently no evidence of this on their body cams. I have still not been able to go in and review their cctv either. I'm still chasing a response. Looking at the many other similar review experiences, this is clearly a concerning pattern of behaviour. Please please be careful!

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Birthday party was ruined by staff. We were lied to, mistreated and my guests and myself had a miserable time. The only saving Grace were the incredible performers. Otherwise we would not ever book with this management team ever again - unfriendly, rude and manipulative.

We booked a group area on Saturday night for 14 people. We were given 2 chairs and half a table pushed to the wall to stand around, it was an absolute shambles. In the small print it did mention that it was 1 chairs per 5 people, as it was standing area. Granted it was written in advance, but it has no logic sense. Why cram 14 people in an area which can only accommodate 2 people? Why ask for the number of people only to not cater for them? It soon became clear as we had more and more people come in, it was HEAVING. With no where to stand, no where to dance, it was unbearable. Think it’s worth knowing the above in advance as it really impacts the experience, and honestly it put a real dampener on a fun girls night. Other thing to note- the pianist plays requests(which is an obvious one!), but there must have been some miserable people there that night as we had to dance to some real slow ones all night. Not sure if piano works moderate (probably not as it’s all cash funded and we know they like the money) but at times it was very slow P.a have to agree with the sentiment below security we’re rough and the manager was exceptionally rude. There were some lovely waitresses though. Far better places to go in London, jf your looking for a good night.

What a horrible place. Not only is the music unbearably loud so you can't talk but also it is of really poor quality. This place is one big rip-off.

One star is one too many - a very disappointing experience at Pianoworks Farringdon. Having booked a table for 15 people months ahead we arrived at the venue to find our table ‘for 15’ was a small table pushed into the corner of the room (which we were unable to pull out to make use of the full table due to it ‘covering electrics’) so we were expected to use half on a table, against two walls to accommodate 15 people standing around it and somewhere to put our food and drinks on. We spoke with the manager who told me ‘I should have checked the small print on my email because they only seat 1 in 5 people’ I tried to explain that it was not the lack of seating that was the problem, it was that we were expected to stand 15 people around a 1m table. He was also backed up by a very unfriendly female bouncer. Having realised the manager was going to do nothing to improve our situation we remained fighting for space around a pathetic corner table when a waiter then came over with two large drinks coolers which were put on the table. When I asked why we had received all of our drinks booking now she replied ‘we thought you were leaving so wanted all your drinks now’!! Pianoworks emailed me the week ahead of my booking to ask me how we wish to split the drinks order and what time we would like our drinks.. this clearly went out of the window! Why bother to email me and then ignore our request? Aside from the table, it was a hen party and we were determined not to let it ruin our night so, with no table space, had no choice but to collect in the dancing area. By 9.30pm there were so many people in the venue that we were elbow to elbow and dancing became ‘shuffling’, far too many people to make it an enjoyable experience, not to mention the sticky floors; it really was a dive. The ‘highlight’ of the evening was when they asked our bride to be to come to the front for a celebration picture.. a two piece board was rolled in with an image of what I can only describe as a ‘brothel’ bed on it, in which they wanted her to stand and get a picture in front of! Looking back at the picture of this board it really is disgusting.. what are you thinking? The ‘birthday’ board wasn’t much better, with the venue expecting you to stand in front of a prison mug shot black and white board, very very strange!! Later on that evening the waiter came over to ask me to pay the discretionary service charge of £90 - are you joking?! Not one part of our evening deserved positive recognition! I felt rather embarrassed having booked such a place for my best friends hen party, it was a horrible experience. What a shame! In case you think I am another Karen having a moan, I do not like to leave negative reviews and the venue we were at prior to here I have given a glowing review!

extremely rude staff. would not recommend. i’m shocked they are allowed to hire people this rude. The staff are looking for a fight so please be careful, the front of house staff made a joke about it being a saturday night and that the staff are allowed to drink, I don’t think this is a good idea as for some of them it made them extremely aggressive. We left after about five minutes due to this. Happy to have a call or discuss further as I don’t like the thought of people being treated with disrespect because of power hungry staff, i can see from the reviews this is a common theme

A fantastic experience, Delilah was superb on the phone helping me with the booking as my previous buyagift voucher expired. While the experience was really good there are just a few elements for thought. The voucher only allowed us red or white whine - might be nicer to offer rose too. We were also very aware of how the team wanted to clear away our table to make more dancefloor room, which added some pressure. Be mindful if you book a slot that ends after 8.30pm.

Was really looking forward to bottomless brunch for a joint birthday celebration, but I was emailed to say they had changed the time we had originally booked, it was much earlier so we could not longer make it, there was no apology or explanation. Very rude and abrupt service, won’t be rebooking in future.

Amazing musicians and service, deals on drinks too!

The manager Victoria was an appalling manager and spent the night with a vendetta against us. We arrived at 5pm and bought several rounds of drinks. We’d sat on a table that was reserved from 9pm and were told this was fine but would have to move at 20:45. Obviously this is fine but at 19:40 we were asked to move as the party had arrived. This is a long time before their booking so we asked if we could stay or if there was an alternative table we could sit at. The manager was very rude and was not listening at all. We had tried to book a table over a month ago but we were told you could not book for less than 15 people so we didn’t. The booking arrived and there was only two people. Victoria’s vendetta then continued when I tried to put mine and my friend’s coats in the cloakroom. She saw me there and came over. She separated my coat and my cardigan and made me pay for two items. She then made me take a picture because I was “so drunk” I was going to lose the card. At this point I was not even sure why she thought this was necessary because I wasn’t drunk. Victoria spent the night trying to follow us around, and when me and my friend went into the toilet together, there were two ladies aggressively banging on the door to the cubicle. When I was finished, to no surprise victoria was there with a female member of security. Victoria accused us of taking drugs, which is abhorrent considering i have never taken anything and had done nothing to suggest this was the case. When I asked why we were being targeted, Victoria then used her position of power to call the security to remove us. She was clearly just power hungry and wanted to use her little ear piece to show off her position. We were not rude or aggressive so there was no need for the security. She then didn’t want to let me wash my hands before leaving the bathroom and tried to stop us getting our coats. Absolutely ridiculous service and it is a shame because the venue and the performers are incredible. Victoria said she was happy to receive a negative review, so here it is! Piano works I think you need to have a look at who you’re picking to be management and have a think about whether this is the treatment of your customers that you want. Perhaps your management need training on how to deal with members of the public.

First time visiting and it most definitely won’t be the last. What a fantastic welcoming atmosphere. Amazing talented musicians, friendly bar staff and the drinks were reasonably priced for London. Big thank you to the Barman that created a ‘Smirnoff ice’ cocktail for us even though it was not in the menu.

Great place to go but the security are horrendous, I had not even been drinking and asked to put my jacket on a chair that someone was sitting on which resulted in me being kicked out as apparently this is not allowed within the venue. Would not recommend until the security is changed as it is ridiculous to be removed from the premises for this action.

The staff in pianoworks Farringdon from the entry to the a lady who was keeping watch on the floors were absolutely unpleasant and rude. My friend and I visited this place on 9th of Feb 2024 and they are the worst and it is the least to say. They shouted at us who were their customers for no reason and the tone was apparent and for some basic things like paying at the entrance and leaving our coats by a table. Not sure this is even normal. Never visited a place like this before with such ill manners from staff. Further to this the bar staff got out drinks wrong much to our dismay. The only good thing about this place was the live music and the band. I give them that. The rest their staff are extremely poor in everything they do and manners are absolutely appalling.

My go-to for a nice out. I've been a few times and the crowd, the staff, everyone is just there to have a nice relaxed time. The live music is also all the great hits.

This place is a joke, the guy plays piano for 45 mins and then they just play cheesy music for 45 mins. Not so much a piano bar as just a bar with a piano in it!

Great place with amazing live music. Only disappointment was an hour queue to get in so we missed our cheaper ticket for between 8-9pm which was cheeky and therefore had to pay full price.

Fantastic atmosphere and staff - Mariama Hadi was a true gem looking after us. We were a huge group and had simply the best time!

We opted for an early bird £20 dinner each after work. Flat iron steak with fries and salad after a small starter. Drinks half price before 7pm then 241 cocktails. This venue is about the entertainment.. pianists, singers playing the songs you request. We went early so had many of our requests played. Staff were friendly. Not sure how tipping the musicians worked. Would have tipped if it went to them as they earned it. Fun evening. Highly recommend.

Fabulous evening here for my birthday the other night!

We were celebrating a birthday and asked for ONE song. We paid several tips to make sure this song was played. However it was never the case, even after asking several waitresses. We ordered magnum of champagne and paid tips as requested hence I don’t really understand why we didn’t get any gesture from them. Please never go there it’s a rip off

I’d booked a table for ten and the staff were helpful when we arrived. The doormen can be a bit rude though. Unfortunately my wife came later and they refused to let her in until I came upstairs and spoke to them, they had accused her of being a liar though she told them we were pre booked and called her a queue jumper. Also the bar staff mysteriously added a bottle of rum to our tab which we didn’t have. In fairness this was resolved but it felt strange as our tab was pre paid. The energy was lots of drunk office people taking their stress out on each other. A bit to much aggression for a good night out. Kudos to the musicians though they worked really hard to keep the vibe fun.

Piano works hosted our company Christmas party last week. The place was packed and we were a big group, 35, all having a three course meal. All staff were really friendly, attentive and working their socks off. Mass catering is sometimes difficult and not all is guaranteed to go to plan. However the reaction of the guys who dealt with me when I pointed out a few things were a touch disappointing was fantastic. It was appreciated what I had experienced was not quite right. The situation was rectified swiftly and in good spirit with my turkey dinner replaced with a most delicious sirloin steak and chips. The service received was humbling and I can’t praise the Piano Works staff highly enough. It was the best I have experienced in some time and it lifted my spirits no end when I might have been left feeling a touch grumpy and hungry if things had been handled in an alternative way. I can truly recommend this place go for the steak!

I handed my coat and umbrella to the clockroom. When I handed my ticket she didn't give my umbrella. She said is not there. She refused to look and said there are so many coats. I found She was rude and racist. I never experienced someone refusing to look for an item. There was asian girl who was helpful. My umbrella was about £50, as she refused to look or help. She must have stolen it. She needs to go a training course how to treat customers and to be polite. I was was very annoyed and upset with her attitude towards me.

Visited Piano Works Farringdon a weeks back with friends. I will not detail the events that took place and will only say that we had the need to log a formal complaint of an extremely serious and severe nature The complaint was reported to Tristan ( Operations Director) who initially was empathetic and eager to assist. The email that was received after airing our complaint however did not reflect this. After sending a reply back to Tristan we were met with silence, 2 weeks later and again no further reply was received so we sent an email chaser..........no reply. Our email was then sent to Alan ( Founder) & Renato ( General Manager) as we were so disgusted at being ignored.........again no reply. It has now been several weeks since our initial complaint was logged and we still have not received a reply No full reply or acknowledgement to a complaint of an extremely serious experience..............so take from this review what you will and DO NOT visit this venue

It’s a great place and the food was amazing. There was live music being played however I felt it was a bit too dark but nothing negative. All positive, will be visiting again

I went to pianoworks for my birthday - we had a table of over 20 of us and all had the best time ever ! We got a complimentary Prosecco, and the service was amazing as well as the live band ! Thank you pianoworks for making my birthday so much fun!

A friendly doorman was a promising start. Sadly, asides from one very hard working member of the service team, that was then end of positive employee interactions. Everyone seemed to hate their jobs and the customers. The food was generally thougtb to be grim. Soup was lukewarm, lumpy and gave the impression of being defrosted. The main course was cold. Frozen food store Iceland would have provided a better quality cheesecake. No one expects much at a group Christmas party booking but this was truly the worst out of the dozens that I have been too. Even the Christmas crackers were so cheap that they did not contain anything other than a hat. Many of my group commented on poor quality drinks even. Despite having a space booked for several hours, we got out quickly and moved on. What a horrible venue.

Was there a few days ago for a work Christmas lunch will never set foot in there again. Staff were so rude and aggressive, maybe some of the worst treatment I’ve ever seen in hospitality in London. Atmosphere was excessively loud, couldn’t chat to our colleagues and live music just seemed bored and exhausted like the team had done it for the 100th time that day Food was small and boring most of us got more food from Tesco after as we were still hungry We were herded in and out so quickly we couldn’t even stay for a drink at their bar area without security screaming at us because we had our coats with us or something trivial. I’ve tried to think of something positive but nothing has come to mind.

Not a hint of Christmas cheer in this place. From the surly servers to the mediocre (and cold) food. Just felt like a conveyer belt of getting punters in and turning them around as quickly as possible. A dozen of us were there for about...

I visited this venue for our team Christmas so cial: shocking experience! Food was terrible, cocktails not tasty or did not contain any alcohol and not even mentioning the attitude of certain security guard or waiters (only one was polite). The music was too loud on the speakers we had to complain so we could hear ourselves at dinner… I do NOT recommend this place if you have any standards or if you don’t like getting scammed.

Would not recommend. Too packed. Nowhere to stand and have a drink as the bar area is rammed and not allowed to stand anywhere else. We had a table booked, the food was adequate, certainly not worth £55 per head. Only allocated 2 hours at the table and was rushed off. Had to stand in a walk way holding coats and drinks (£2 to put coat in the cloakrooms) Wanted to charge £61 service charge for 9 of us. We refused to pay service charge and left no tip. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Don’t leave anything behind here because it’s impossible to get anyone to help you. I emailed them and left repeated messages on their answerphone about a lost coat. Eventually, when I did get to speak to someone, they promised to call back but never did. Another call elicited the same response but again, no call back. I realise it’s my error for leaving the coat behind but to be so unhelpful isn’t a good reflection on the company. It’s a shame as it was good experience otherwise.

We spontaneously went to the venue as a group of 11 following office do and the piano works staff were amazing and so kind and accommodating for wheel chair access with no fuss at all. Thank you all for a great evening, great vibe and banging live music👍

Went for our Christmas lunch, the food was nice, drinks was ok, the minute we finished our food we was literally rushed out of our seats!!! Unimpressed to be told by the bouncer to get up and move to the bar cause they have another booking, I was told this is what happens all the time, I would never return.

Went for a work Christmas party. When we arrived (on time for 17) the table was not ready. Felt very rushed to finish the food and drink. Took a very long time to get any drinks. Be very careful about the bill - extra drinks were added to our table but when queried these were taken off!!! Would not recommend! Better spend your money somewhere else where you are not rush off and not trying to be ripped off.

Food - came cold. Then when I told them the steak came cold, the lady gave me some attitude. I later found they took another steak that was left on the table and reheated then given to me. Attitude of bar staff, waiters/waitress was shocking. I would never recommend this place for a Christmas social or any time of big social gatherings. They’re incapable of providing the adequate service. Bar staff - I asked for 2 drinks, they gave one and when I mentioned he forgot my second drink, he gave some attitude and said he’s serving someone else. Eventually made the second drink.

We had our work Christmas party at The Piano Works Farringdon a few days ago. Overall a good experience, and the live music really topped it off. In terms of facilities, the venue is easy enough to find and get to via public transport. Toilets were clean, floors were kept tidy and waiting service was good. Our waiter for the night was Fabio, a very charismatic, efficient nd bilingual gentleman who was always to hand and made sure our food and drinks were delivered on time and correctly. Sadly, the security staff asked (politely) one of our colleagues to leave due to his intoxication level which was presumably high, though we did not agree with that. Our colleague is a very tall man with long limbs and his dance moves, arguably, let him down. However, the worst of it was that he was not allowed to get his coat and belongings whilst being escorted out of the venue, on what was considered the this year's coldest day/night in the country yet. The food was OK, edible, but portions were small and bland. As mentioned above, a good experience for drinks, live music and a boogie, but I'd give it a pass on the food, and perhaps security need staff need to be more forgiving in certain circumstances.

Good food, and great party atmosphere… but way too loud for a sit down meal. My watch measured over 100 decibels on multiple occasions so definitely treat this as somewhere to go later on in the evening!

Very enjoyable night and experience. The music and atmosphere was really fun. Its quite busy yet we had no issues with getting our food or drinks. Great mix of people there too. Will go back again.

Visited Saturday evening 25th November with a party of 8. Our ‘table’ was a corner seat with no table. Each time we ordered drinks an optional 12.5% service charge was applied to the bill. The prices are already inflated - £40 for a bottle of Prosecco and I felt ripped off by the service charge which I only realised the next day had been applied to each and every round of drinks purchased. The singers were excellent as always but the prices charged are excessive. Beware the service charge con if you are planning a visit and unless you are happy to pay make sure you decline the service charge before you pay the bill!

Great brunch which was massively let down by your security on the door. We went recently for a friends 43rd birthday - and for the brunch itself we had a fabulous day. Our server Fabio was absolutely brilliant, all the of the staff behind the bar were so friendly and the options for the food and drinks for the brunch were great. We had so much fun - so when we were told that at 4.30pm everyone had to leave but could come back after a quick 30 minute turn around - we were really happy to wait and come back. Up until then our visit had been faultless. Upon trying to get back into the venue however - a young man and a women on the door were so incredibly rude to us. It felt like they didn’t want anyone from the brunch to come back in and were very patronising. Whilst I understand they have a duty of care - we were not rude or obnoxious or falling over drunk. We were, however not going to be spoken to like that so in the end we left and went somewhere else. We were even told by the female security ‘I will be keeping an eye on you guys in there’… I’m not really sure what she’d be hoping to see… some embarrassing mum dancing perhaps or just a group of friends having a great time (up until then)?! It’s such a massive shame as it put a dampener on what would have otherwise been a 5* day!

Omg! They were amazing! So attentive and vibrant! Deimante, Fabio and Yahcine were incredible hosts, mangers and bouncers! We will definitely come again. The musicians were incredible xxx thank you so much!

Good night. Ruined by our 'hostess' charged a £10 tip with every drink we purchased. We didn't notice until the end of the night. Looking back at our groups transactions, we were pretty upset with this girl. I tipped her separately, too. A con artist preying on people. We won't be returning.

Pretty expensive, but fabulous staff, the barman was chatty and singing along, he seemed so happy to be there. The band that played were fab, so versatile. It made for a really great night having the requests of the audience played so a very random mix of songs.

Such good fun, lost my voice all worth it

This is an amazing venue. From start to end, we sang ,drank, laughed and danced the night away . The food was out of this world along with the amazing serving staff that smiled the whole night. Fabulous value for money for such a high quality evening ✨️
