Been coming here 25 years & as always an amazing place for great food! Delicious, tasty & value for money. Highly recommended!

We visited for Sunday roast, the wellington was delicious! We also loved the brownies, which were very tasty. Overall, a great meal!

No one answers the phone, they don't send the delivery orders and if you do go in they're rude. Reading replies from subway on other reviews they always ask for you to call the store, no one picks up

"Escape to the 1920s" for a "premium drinking experience" encourages the website. The photos depict a cosy, sophisticated location. So we were excited for our visited. On arrival, a gigantic TV screen was blasting the rugby match to the extent that it was difficult to hold a conversation. This wasn't mentioned when I booked. So not 1920s, not immersive, not cosy, not relaxed, not transported to a time gone by. Just generally not the atmosphere that is advertised.

Chicken Salad Box £5.5 A good option for chicken lovers at Newcastle University. The chicken salad was tasty, but it’s a bit overpriced.

Food not fresh. Disrespectful place does not have the courtesy to provide clean fresh food, shame on you.

Great taste but small portions

Service was great, friendly and helpful staff. We needed some help with redeeming the rewards from the app and they were very helpful. The burgers were great. Have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed.

Never have I been to a burger "joint" and the grill chief is there to meet you. I said I don't need fries just a burger. "I'll get it to you straight off" he did... amazing! Well done fair played! Thank you tasted amazing!

Just had a half chicken with mild peri peri sauce - sat in - nicely grilled and good value for what I got - first visit would come again

Staff were nice but the food was terrible! We had chicken parma and ribs. The ribs were tasteless despite the sauce on them. Shame as I have good memories of F&B. Hope it's just this specific location as opposed to the entire franchise.
