Great facility, exceptional staff, clean showers and well stocked shop and pub. Good location for beaches, Cheddar gorge and Wookie hole.

What a brilliant evening my grandson and I had! We arrived at 6.30 and it was extremely busy, even so, we managed to find a table. Despite being so busy the staff were really friendly and happy. The food is very reasonably priced, I thought, for a holiday establishment, and arrived quickly. There was live music on the night we were there, which was very good, and the walk up through the woodland, with all the lights, was magical!

Food was lovely though limited and service friendly but clearly suffering from recruitment challenges as not enough staff do service times were slow.

Absolutely wonderful place if ever i feel homesick! It really is a little bit like being in an alpine bar. We arrived at a very busy time and had to wait for a long time (we were told so and it wasn't surprising as the place was heaving). The pizza and burgers were fantastic! Staff was very friendly and coffee great. We'll be back!

Brilliant service and amazing food, and in such a beautiful setting. To finish of the meal I had the bubble wrap ice cream which was delicious.

We had burgers and hot dogs here before an activity session and it was a big hit with my children. Surprisingly tasty and well presented food. More like gastropub prices than fast food ones, but the menus and prices are all available online so I knew this and it was a treat. I'm not vegan but tried the vegan hot dog, which was delicious. Only thing to improve - the kids were tempted by the video on the screen showing an Oreo freak shake, but when it arrived it was just the shake in a cup without all the 'freak' presentation or toppings.

A really nice burger, some other bigger ones looked magnificent but I just wanted a simple one. Was surprised they don’t have beer on draft just bottled and I’ve knocked a star off because they charged me for fries that I didn’t order. It was only when I got the bill and was charged I realised I hadn’t actually ordered them but by then had eaten them. Not great practice

We have had the Sunday Roast many times its faultless a great experience every time. But lunch menu during the week has dissapointed us twice now. Yesterday we had two toasted sandwiches and one quiche. When you order you should be given the choice of plain toastie or toastie with salad & chips (extras). Also please ask don't just assume everyone wants salad doused in balsamic dressing. I asked for no chips with the quiche (I can't eat potato due to RA) I was brought chips and asked for them to remove them and the salad as I couldn't eat it covered in dressing. I had said no chips and a plain salad. They brought it back with no plain salad just with some coleslaw £9 for a poor quiche which had hardly any topping but thickly spread very horribly sweet caramelised onions on the base in an overbaked very small dry pastry case. So £34 for a very lack lustre lunch. We will not go in there again. The restaurant smelled strongly of old or burnt cooking oil
