Was a really nice restaurant, the food was amazing however our server seemed a bit inexperienced. She was probably new so understandable however at times it did feel a bit awkward. The restaurant is dim lit so would be better for a more romantic dinner than with family. The menu has a wide array of options to choose from.

You would imagine that any restaurant that has Marco Pierre White’s name associated with it would be first class. He would be sorely disappointed, as were we, at the food we were served for Sunday lunch. I could have cooked a better Sunday lunch myself. My starter arrived and when I asked 10 minutes later where my partner’s was, I was told it was on its way. After another request for her food, we were told that the waiter had forgotten to order it with my salad. We waited fifteen minutes for the onion soup to arrive, and when it did, it was tepid, with a piece of French bread and cheese on top, instead of croutons as described on the menu. They heated it up but it still wasn’t hot. When the main course arrived the green beans were tepid, my partner had to ask for the apple sauce, and when I asked for the mint sauce I was told they had run out. They reduced our bill without being asked, but we would have preferred the food to have been more palatable. Disappointing is an understatement and we certainly won’t be going back.

Very disappointed. I ordered Onion soup for my starter and it came a good 5 minutes after my partner’s starter as the waiter forgot to tell the chef. When it came it was luke warm, and the croutons had been replaced by a floating slice of bread with melted cheese on it. Main course was not much better. Beans and peas were cold, pork was OK but I had to request the apple sauce. Roast potatoes were very nice though. If you want a good Sunday dinner best walk into Yatton to the pop up Sunday roast place where you will get a beautiful warm well cooked meal.

Great afternoon tea. Unlike the previous persons review ours was very pleasant. Lovely attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Sandwiches very fresh roast beef melt in the mouth. Cheese and cucumber delicious as was ham and mustard. Egg mayo delicious. Cakes where do I begin light fresh and very tasty loved the carrot cake and we are carrot cake connoisseurs. Tea in abundance and nothing too much trouble for the staff. We will be back.

Had a voucher for sparkling afternoon tea for two for my birthday was really looking forward to it . Will never go again as sandwiches very dry and plain for example beef with no horseradish just cheap tasting butter , same for the other ones except the ham which has mustard in it . No one had explained what everything was when it was brought over so had to ask . Had to chase for my sparkling part of the deal. I have been on plenty of other afternoon teas and this was the worst I’ve ever experienced others have been fab very surprised by this .

This was the first time having an afternoon tea here . I had been looking forward to it as the name above the door I thought would have meant quality . My brother always sends me a treat for the above as a birthday gift and the other places I have been to before have been fab.fully explaining what you get and making it very special for us. However this one was appalling . No one told us what the sandwiches and cakes were until I asked . We asked to move as my daughter I took with me is on the spectrum and she was uncomfortable with the first table choice which had a shoddy ripped booth seat anyway which the lady kindly accommodated and she was very nice and helpful although busy when we first arrived so had to wait for a bit to be seated which I appreciated the sorry she gave for that. The cups were filthy that were on the table so asked for them to be taken away . The sandwiches were very dry no sauces for example mayo on the egg or horseradish with the beef. Just plain filling with cheap butter on them . The cakes were not enjoyable I left the rock hard scones and even had to chase to ask for my glass of Prosecco as we had a sparkling afternoon tea on the voucher and had not been offered or given this . Very run down and some staff very new . Very confusing parking system . I will not be recommending this place and will never come again .

Unnecessarily pretentious atmosphere. They said they were fully booked so we had to come earlier and there was hardly anyone in there so it felt quite awkward and quiet. It has the kind of decor of a bad Indian restaurant with a million pictures of Marco. Food was quite nice, the steak was a little too well done and dry, but the chips were nice and I liked the rocket with balsamic vinegar. Really lovely servers.

We have recently spent two evenings dining here, everything was faultless. We were celebrating our honeymoon, on the first night we were made to feel like VIPs, with a lovely booth set up, complimentary prosecco and a handwritten card on the table. Service was first class. We shared a tomahawk steak which was cooked beautifully and was very tasty! On the second evening we had the curry and macaroni cheese, both really nice, sticky toffee pudding I highly recommend too! The staff worked so hard and very attentive without being intrusive. We do not have a bad word to say about our experience, we look forward to returning. Thank you for looking after us and making our honeymoon memories very special.

The ambience, beautiful surroundings and lovely polite staff are definitely worth paying a little more and should not be compared to pub meals. We had steak, cooked perfectly to the tricky balance between medium/rare and the scotch egg starter melted in the mouth. This was our first visit to this restaurant and will definitely be a favorite. I loved the garden room which has a lovely outdoor feel, but was nice and cosy even with the rain.

Exceptional Sunday lunch experience, visited for a special birthday celebration, with eleven family members. The culinary experience was really impressive, we had a mixture of starters all were excellent not a single negative comment to make. The Sunday lunch was also superb, Beef, Pork and chicken beautifully cooked and served with lovely roast potatoes and a great Yorkshire. Veg was served on separate dishes all really tasty with additional gravy. Our waiter Dylan in particular was brilliant, attentive, courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. and went out of his way to help along with along with the rest of the staff The outside seating was tastefully done creating a setting that was ideal for a leisurely Sunday lunch. I have already recommended your restaurant to friends, and I look forward to our next visit.

Went here a couple of weeks ago with my partner for a Sunday roast and we were both undewhelmed with the food. We both had a starter, main with a glass of wine each and a coffee. We had low quality olives and bread, which we were charged over £9 for. I'm most places, these are complimentary. Add on the £8.50 service charge and we paid just over £95 for food only 1 notch above a carvery. I'm annoyed because rightly or wrongly, I expected so much more. My advice is find yourself a decent local pub and save yourself almost half the bill.

The hotel was part of the restaurant and I expected some better service considering the name. Was part of a business group for 2 nights. First night we had to ask 3 people when table was already booked prior before being shown to the table. For a vegetarian it had a few choices. First night I decided a cheese and tomato vine starter ( pic didn't come out) but it was not appetising at all. As mains I picked Mac cheese. Thinking simple dish cant go wrong, it was the worst. A massive dish nothing else, cheese was not crispy on top and wasn't cheesy as a Mac and cheese should be. Totally dry, lacked taste and flavour only ate the top part and had to ask for the cost to be taken off at the end otherwise I would have to pay for something which was not nice at all or was given an option for something else when I told them. Second day was a bit sceptical but thought it can't be bad, tried the tomato linguine. It looked nice but was luke warm and lacked the flavour and seasoning I expected in a simple dish. I was glad to order sides as back up, I ordered onion rings and chips these were better in taste and glad I ordered it otherwise it be two days with disappointment food and hungry belly. I've heard so much of the company and for simple vegetarian dishes I did not expect the lack of flavour and seasoning in the food. Was totally disappointed for the cost and expected better.

I wasn't expecting a huge selection being a vegetarian in Stakehouse - and I'm fine with that. My partner isn't a vegetarian and there was enough on the Vegan menu for me to get by. However, we found on arrival that of the four main options, three were unavailable. So it was chickpea curry or nothing for main. I know these celebrity chef restaurants are often a but of a marketing ploy but, even then, that isn't acceptable for me. I had a tomato soup starter. The soup was ok - nothing mind blowing but it was passable. The bread accompanying it wasn't nice. It was really sticky to the point I had to pick it out from between my teeth. The chickpea curry was, again, passable but really nothing special. I'm no chef but I could cook something equally tasty for 1/10th the price. My partner had the scotch egg starter and lamp for main. She enjoyed both but found the lamp a little rubbery - 7/10 she says. We didn't bother with desserts. The experience had all fallen a little flat by that point and we were happy to go off back to the room. The service throughout was very good. Couldn't fault our server at all and I had some sympathy as she seemed to be going table to table explaining things were available with every order. The decor is ok. As others have mentioned, the edgy photography of MPW on nearly every wall is a little weird/amusing. Why would a Sheffield hang a photo on the wall with him in chef whites with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth in front of diners? Arrogance to the extreme. The hotel is lovely and I'm sure we'll return again - but we would definitely go elsewhere for food next time.

We treated ourselves to a nice meal, knowing it was not going to be cheap. What did I expect? To be honest like a lot of fine dining restaurants they over promise and under deliver. My starter was calamari. It was undercooked and I have had better from the frozen section in a budget supermarket chain. My partner's prawn cocktail was like one I made for the first time aged 16! My main (fish and chips) would not rank in the top 10 fish and chip dishes I have had in my life. The chips were worse than frozen oven chips and the fish was so greasy it made me feel sick. It was quite sad really. My partner had a steak. The steak was nice, that's all we can say about this experience. Would I return? No!

It's a shame, because I expected a lot from this restaurant. With Marco Pierre White above the door, and on almost every single wall, one expects to be served quality meat cooked to perfection. This was sadly not the case. Stayed at the hotel, and have ZERO complaints about the hotel, it is excellent. Booked our second night in the MPW steakhouse, weekend after valentines day, dinner for two. Was informed by the main waiter we were assigned (about whom I have no complaints) that the ribeye does not render if cooked below medium, due to the meat being too fatty. Not the best start... One would expect a steakhouse endorsed and patroned by MPW to be able to manage a medium rare ribeye... But at least he told us. As someone who prefers a blue steak, I was disappointed but trusted the staff in the kitchen (a trust based entirely on the MPW patronage). When the food arrived, it was just one plate, and not brought by the waiter who was assigned to us. We waited several minutes for the other meal to arrive, before having to flag our original waiter down and find out where it was. It came out a couple of minutes after we'd asked. Then had to remind them of the peppercorn sauce. For 3.95, one does not expect the sauce to be delivered in a flattened porcelain thimble, and to have the consistency of bisto gravy when you add too much water. Alas, it was. The quality of the meat, too, was disappointing. Not much taste (although I could certainly taste the dirty griddle on which it was cooked...), not much texture other than chew... Not what you expect from a Marco Pierre White restaurant. And absolutely not worth £30+. The staff were nice, we tipped because our waiter was very polite, and when my other half's meal finally arrived and the tomatoes were cold, and the steak overcooked, he offered a new one. But we declined, because what is a belated valentines meal if you are forced to eat separately/let one meal go cold so as to eat together? Honestly, if you are staying at the hotel, take a wander (20 minutes) into Yatton and get something in one of their pubs. It will be cooked better, served better, and cost you half the price at most. You'll likely get more, too. And it might even all be hot! It's a real shame because we'd have ordered wine and desserts if the experience was enjoyable, but frankly, it left us feeling a little flat so we returned to our room once finished. You can't have MPW's name on your door and offer an experience like that. It's dishonest to do so, in my opinion. Absolutely will not return to the restaurant, but that won't stop us from returning to the hotel. There are some really lovely pubs in Yatton, and in future we will give our patronage to them. I recommend that you do the same. Don't waste your hard-earned salary on a hotel restaurant fleecing customers on the promise of Michelin star chef patronage, and delivering Hungry Horse-quality meals. You deserve better. Image shows my £31.50 meal. Without the flattened thimble of sauce because that didn't come for another seven minutes or so. The tomatoes were less than an inch, to help with scale. Avoid.

Visited this restaurant because Cardiff restaurant had been suddenly closed ! purchased Black Friday vouchers couldn’t get a refund so decided to come here. Nice interior fabulous views. That’s where it ends. Food was applauding restaurant was very quiet so expected freshly cooked food. My husband and I had steaks at £30 each. They were really poor cuts of meat, cheap and chewy. Chips that had been rewarmed god knows how many times they were full of oil and no substance, onion rings that the oil dripped off. Sauce served with the steaks was watery and cold, told when I complained that they were supposed to be served at room temperature, wouldn’t have minded but this was cold. Would never return to another MPW and would advise others to spend your money else where. You’re not getting a bargain purchasing any offers it’s a scam to get your money because all you get is poor quality food with little choice and have to travel miles to use them. We paid our bill because we had £100 in vouchers that were useless to us after this visit because of restaurants closure and duration they lasted for.

Firstly, I work here so slightly biased. I'm very picky about where I eat for a 'night out' meal. I expect very good food & good service. For this type of venue the food is exceedingly good and not badly priced - it's not cheap but not crazy expensive. Service was exceptional. Drink choice is varied and suits most tastes. Wide choice on food, my partner is diabetic and had no problem at all chosing 3 courses - that she didn't stop talking, the next day, about what she ate speaks volumes.

Great service and lovely ambience in the restaurant. However, the food quality is very poor for the price. It was very much in line with average pub food. The macaroni cheese was very average and pretty bland, made with mild cheap cheese. I was expecting something more flavourful for the price. Burger also very average. Something needs to change as the reviews are very similar on here so they need to take note! It’s a shame as the restaurant has so much potential and the staff were wonderful. However, I have never had Steak so bad ever. I wasn't expecting 3 Michelin starred food, but when the Chef Patron is MPW you expect a steal to be cooked as well as a Steak could be cooked. I dont know what "the butchers block" cut is but it tasted like a leather flip flop. I didnt complain as i was there with 8 other people and didnt want my meal to out of sync with the rest of our party. I didn't take a picture because I only do that of food I have enjoyed. Two visits to this restaurant during a four night stay. The first was a complete washout. £30 ribeye steak which had the quality of a Lidl bargain steak. It was chewy, tasteless and went back barely touched. I was then charged £8.95 for a piece of cheddar. Had a day off but returned because I’m staying at the hotel and thought it may be an anomaly. The staff are amateur-ish and don’t know their trade. I started with a scotch egg as I was ‘up-sold’ a £7.50 bottle of tap water. The starter looked ok but was so, so salty. It was floating on a see if ‘yellow stuff’ that I can only assume was salty salad cream; it had the consistency and appeal of dog sick - complete with bits of green vegetation. After eating most of it, I felt not so much ready for my main course as ready to go to rehab for a detox. The main course was a £19.85 burger called the ‘Alex James’. Appropriate really as the flavours were a complete blur. It was overly greasy and again, inexplicably salty. The chips were the saving grace in what was otherwise a Hungry Horse quality, over-priced and below average meal. A couple sitting near me were similarly non-plussed, discussing how salty the onion soup was. In short, a second meal I couldn’t finish after parting with £30.do yourself a favour here: get a cab to the local pub and don’t waste your money putting your heart under unnecessary strain from high-fat, high-salt meals. Verdict: grim

Avoid! Can't cook a steak correctly which, for an apparent steak house I find ridiculous. Sent out a rare steak instead of medium. Ended eating on my own as the family had finished by the time my main actually arrived. The steak was bitter due to it being most likely cooked on a dirty pan/griddle. Lots of chewy bits left on the plate. Never, ever again, will I go to an MPW establishment-except maybe for the scotch egg which was delicious but not what you go to a steakhouse for!

We were gifted a Groupon voucher of a 3 course meal for 2 people as a wedding present. We tried to make a booking and the lady on the phone was quite rude and difficult when we were trying to book. Felt like she was not familiar or interested in the voucher being sold and also was not interested in helping us find a solution as to when we could book. I had to phone the restaurant about 5 times to confirm what we had and when we could use it etc. They called us the day before and tried to cancel us but we insisted we need to come then as the voucher expired 3 days later, we couldn't use it on a Sunday or a bank holiday and not after 5pm!!!!!! We arrived at the restaurant and were asked by 2 different staff if we were there for an afternoon tea which we explained to both but they still sat us at a table set for the afternoon tea and asked us if we wanted tea or coffee. So we explained AGAIN why we were there. To be honest, after the faff we had making the booking, we did expect difficulty on the day!! So we were told that the menu printed on the voucher was not available and we were given a different menu to choose from. We had both set our hearts on a steak but soon changed our mind when we realised that we would have to pay an £8 supplement each!!! Bearing in mind that the voucher originally cost £60. We made our choices and when the food came out, we were pleased. My husband had the scotch egg to start which was a bit overcooked but he really enjoyed it. I had the vegan option (as I'm fussy) which was literally sliced beetroot with walnuts on top....Good job we had 2 more course to eat. Hubby had the burger which he enjoyed, but tbh was no different to any typical hungry horse or wetherspoons type burger. I had the chicken which was lovely, couldn't fault it. We both had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert which was absolutely gorgeous - especially the ice cream! All of the staff we met with today were lovely and helpful. The venue was very pretty but I have to say, there were two unisex toilets, one was out of action due to being blocked - no sign on the door or anything. We were there for nearly 90 minutes and nothing changed so we had to walk up a few floors to the hotel to use safe and clean toilets. Restaurant had a random pong of wet dog but really pretty views. To sum up our experience, we enjoyed our meal but from our own personal tastes, we would not visit again or recommend due to the outrageous price charged for quite average food!! And our overall experience was not the best, mostly because of the Groupon offer not being transparent and the staff that we spoke to on the phone originally making us feel like we were really difficult when trying to book!!!!!! I would suggest that if you were advertising offers on sites such as Groupon then educate your staff about them!!!!!!

Recently went to the restaurant on a midweek night with my wife. For a restaurant in such beautiful surroundings the service does not match. The servers are all very young and inexperienced. Took me 30 minutes to order a drink because different servers could not decide what was available and then the poor inability to open a bottle of wine correctly. No 16oz sirloin (why not offer 2 x 8oz) or fillet steak available in a steakhouse, that really made me laugh. The cost you pay for that service, when you could go into the village and have a better meal for half the price. They need to sort the staff and the availability of food out, if they want to compete with any good restaurants. I would certainly not recommend to anyone, until they can fix the basics.

Expected so much more from this place. Starters were nice. But the amount of meat they gave for a £25 main was absolutely shocking! £15 dish at the most. Desserts were just okay- presentation was pretty awful for the dessert and the crumble wasn't cooked properly. The restaurant itself is dirty - all of the blinds were very dirty and the glasses had little bits in them. Sorry we expected more. To ask people to pay top notch it has to be top notch. Wish we went to the beefeater now

Decent food, rubbish service. Service with a scowl. No warmth or attentiveness from the staff.

We booked on line and were seated immediately. That was the end of their efficiency. It took 30 minutes for them to take the order, starter arrived no drinks so they gave us tap water. The drinks eventually arrived, when I had finished mine it was quicker to go to the bar and fetch a 2nd one. The girl behind the bar was useless asked for Viognier she hadn’t a clue so i gave up. We were offered 3 starters and 3 main courses as the staff had no idea where they were taking the food. They were all having a go at greeting guests, one guy ? Tom was turning them away, telling them to come back in 30 minutes, then his colleague would seat someone straight away. It was total chaos. People were ordering at the host stand to eat in the bar, even though there was a bar menu. At one point they were having a conversation out a guest who had been ringing to get a room service tray from outside their door. They stood poking fun where we could hear them. The food itself was ok but the service was the most appalling I have had in years. Fortunately we were chilled and could laugh about it. This is definitely not a place I would recommend.

In all honesty, we were restricted to the bar menu due to budget but that was good enough. The American and The British burgers were well worth the money. A lovely warm evening on the terrace. Service was quick and polite.

Disgusting! Went for a birthday celebration meal. My chicken and leek pie had a large cloth bag in it, left in by error I was told. Not rxoexted from such a place that did have a good reputation. No satisfactory answer was given, no management or kitchen staff came to apologise. A meagre recompense a free dessert was made. Slow Slow service and a contaminated meal ruined the evening. Shall not be going back.

Very poor value for money. I decided to stop in the bar for a sandwich following a business meeting today. Two options on the menu, a steak sandwich (at over 1000 calories) or a toasted ham and cheddar option with half the calories at £12.95 which I chose. The sandwich came out on a small white plate - two slices of cheap brown bread you could buy at Tescos, two thin slices of ham, melted cheddar and mustard. That was it. Not even a salad leaf to dress the plate! Frankly a £2.50 sandwich from Co-Op is better quality at a fifth of the price. There are lots of independent cafes that deliver far better quality sandwiches for half the price with delicious granary bread, more filling and a dressed side salad. My suggestion is to find one of those.

Only had breakfast, as staying at the hotel for a wedding. Breakfast was a self-service buffet, not quite what I was expecting from a Hilton Hotel. All the usual English Breakfast choices, as well as Continental option - bread to toast, muffins, croissants, pain, fruit, cheese, cold meets. Downside, limited vegan options if you didn't want fruit, tomatoe or baked beans, as vegetarian option such as mushrooms cooked in butter. But you could order a vegetarian sausage, which was suitable for vegans. Toast was a conveyer belt machine, went through once very/too pale, put through twice was burnt. Tea came in a pot served by staff, coffee from a machine. Which judging by watching some of the people choosing that option was not as simple as it looked for some.

MPW should be ashamed, when your kitchen cannot cook a £30 rib-eye medium (it came rare) so that the fats render you shouldn’t call yourself a steakhouse. It was a lovely piece of meat ruined. The other dish was the Pork Milanese which was good. The Maitre’d was apologetic and offered a free dessert but damage done. Avoid.

Had a toastie in the bar for lunch. It was literally sliced bread with ham and cheese priced at £12.95. No garnish, just the toastie on a piece of paper with marco pierre white on it. The steak in the evening tasted nice but out of the two of us one was over cooked and the other was basically just sealed. Guinness was great and the staff are excellent though.

There was a guy cleaning the carpet which was a distraction and we couldn’t have a proper conversation. The bar staff seemed totally oblivious to us standing there waiting to have our drinks order taken. We were sat right near where the staff work which was a distraction. Also people who had a buffet where walking passed our table all the time. Only one vegetarian and one vegan option isn’t good enough when other restaurants have a big variety. No vegan desserts They were taking ages with our food obviously the chefs have no urgency. My grandma is a very fussy eater so she could only have the fish and chips. Maybe there could be another menu for that age group ? The burger buns weren’t toasted. Our lamb we had one of which was fine whilst the other was tough. Our steak we had was tough. The fondant potato was just half a jacket potato and not how it should be.

First of all the food was good, high quality ingredients and tasted beautiful. The reason for 3 stars was the atmosphere and service, upon arrival of my booking in which I was on time for, our table was not ready. We were directed to the bar for a few minutes but this was a frustrating experience. While awaiting to be served at an empty bar it took several minutes before being attended to, I had to repeat my order of four drinks several times, poor from a barman. When we were seated we were opposite a family who swore loudly and repeatedly which made us uncomfortable. We were not offered any further drinks throughout the meal. Above all disappointing and I expected more when carrying the White name. To be honest I do not think I would return.

Went here this evening for dinner - had some high hopes. The macaroni cheese had no flavour at all neither did the Linguine. The cherry tomatoes tasted tinned and lacked a fresh taste you’d expect. A 3 ingredient meal should have each element singing at its best. The service was friendly and attentive just felt marketing yourself as a MPW restaurant has expectations you’d be - better at Pizza Express or Zizzis.

Poor service, poor quality food, poor value for money. Better off walking down the road to the local for some home cooked food at a quarter of the price and none of the pretence.

Ordered 3 sirloin steaks and 3 glasses wine costing £103. We could not cut or eat the steak as full of gristle. By the time a supervisor came to see us the plates were taken away. She apologised and asked do we require pudding or coffee. I asked if it was complimentary and she said just the coffee. Not happy.

I recently stayed at double tree Cadbury house and used Marco Pierre White Steakhouse for 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts. Me and my partner were treated to a lovely menu on both nights with a lot to pick from. As you can see from the pictures we had a couple of chicken dishes, steak, burger. Deserts were stick toffee pudding, chocolate brownie and apple crumble. The food over the duration of our stay was brilliant and the service was on point. Thank you to Jess and her team for looking after us. Nothing was to much trouble and the advice given by the staff while torn between dishes was a nice touch. Everyone has lots of knowledge of the food & hotel. That went a long way while enjoying the restaurant experience. Thank you very much and we will see you soon!!!

11/2/23 - Briefly looked at the menu before booking a table in advance as we were staying for the weekend at the hotel. Looked at the menu displayed outside of the restaurant a few hours prior. Arrived for the evening meal to be given a set menu for valentines and not the menu advertised outside. Only one choice of steak (in a steak house) on the menu and no steak knives given. Steak not cooked how it was asked for. Had a coffee after our meal and the waiter recognised he didn’t bring spoons but never returned so we had to use the sugar cube tongs to stir our coffee. Asked for the bill to see that they add a 10% service charge for a service that has not exactly gone above and beyond. The staff were polite enough but didn’t go the extra mile to accommodate or make sure their customers were catered for or happy.

A really nice burger, some other bigger ones looked magnificent but I just wanted a simple one. Was surprised they don’t have beer on draft just bottled and I’ve knocked a star off because they charged me for fries that I didn’t order. It was only when I got the bill and was charged I realised I hadn’t actually ordered them but by then had eaten them. Not great practice

We have had the Sunday Roast many times its faultless a great experience every time. But lunch menu during the week has dissapointed us twice now. Yesterday we had two toasted sandwiches and one quiche. When you order you should be given the choice of plain toastie or toastie with salad & chips (extras). Also please ask don't just assume everyone wants salad doused in balsamic dressing. I asked for no chips with the quiche (I can't eat potato due to RA) I was brought chips and asked for them to remove them and the salad as I couldn't eat it covered in dressing. I had said no chips and a plain salad. They brought it back with no plain salad just with some coleslaw £9 for a poor quiche which had hardly any topping but thickly spread very horribly sweet caramelised onions on the base in an overbaked very small dry pastry case. So £34 for a very lack lustre lunch. We will not go in there again. The restaurant smelled strongly of old or burnt cooking oil
