A fantastic place to have dinner at. Had a delish hotdog, onion rings and fries. Highly recommended this place!

Great service and the food was lush.

We stumbled across this place whilst visiting WSM and needed some dinner. First impression was that the place looked a bit scruffy/unkept, although exposed wood and corky looking floor do not look possible to clean and the broken flooring towards the toilets confirmed my thoughts, walls in the private area with fridges in also looked dirty, my other half told me that was the decor/vibe.. The staff were lovely and accommodating and offered to move us to a table which became available so that we could have a baby chair for our little one. Hubby was hungry and I couldn't be bothered to choose so we had a sharing platter for 2 for £49.50. It was huge. 2 burgers, 4 wings, some beef rib meat, pulled pork, 2 half racks of bbq ribs, chips, onion rings, corn, some bread, butter, gerkins. Plenty between us and a little one. And then some more to take home 😅 Food quality wise.. flavour was ok. Not quite there. Ribs had too much sweet bbq sauce. Beef meat tasted good. Burger was ok, a little overdone, bread was burnt too, some corn was burnt, wings were cremated, would have given some to the little one but they were too crispy unfortunately. Surprised us with service charge on the bill, which we would have paid but we had to chase for the bill/go up and sort and help ourselves to a takeaway box as no-one came to us.. nothing to rave about unfortunately.

The food was not smoked I don't care what they say, all tasted oven cooked. Brisket was tasteless, very dry. Ribs were very average, not alot of meat and also dry. The sauce on the ribs was quite over powering also. Chicken wings were so dry I couldnt tell what was meat and what was bone. Sausage was the best thing. The fries were good to be fair, but my girlfriend had alot of them to make up for the prawn dish we had to send back due to prawns tasting very watery and rubbery and bland, not a hint of garlic like we've eaten elsewhere (We were refunded for these) quality of food we had left us very disappointed. There were also only 5 cocktails on the menu and no mint for a Mojito which was disappointing. The place also had many uncleared tables even though it was quiet. On the plus side the girl that served us was very pleasant and did try her best.

A nice experience at bare grills. Table booked online. Seated straight away but was right beside the door and opposite the bar. Felt a bit out of place as was a meant to be an intimate meal. Did request alternative seating but none available so stayed. Anyways staff attentive and friendly and service good. Ordered the bbq tower for two which was exciting. Onion rings were delicious and fill of flavour. Really enjoyed the burgers and other meats. Beef and pulled pork was average. Beef was quite dry and over cooked. Pulled pork could’ve done with a tastier sauce, felt it was a bit bland. Nice selection of food.

Patties were good but the crispy onion garnish was rank... Bad aftertaste for the rest of the night......service was friendly but slow.. would go again if they sort out that garnish..

Never had a bad meal, reasonably priced, food cannot be beaten

Delusional reviews, over priced street food that put a service charge on when a chef is front of house i dont know ?🥲😂 12.50 burgers that are less than satisying ive made better at home, service is a shambles food really isnt anything to shout about just barely average, frozen then overcooked chicken strips with cheap "jack daniels" sauce, didnt even finish my meal, (i wish id had gone to burger king £55 pound later) no fries or side with burgers and tbh they arent good enough to be charging fries seperate 🤯🤡😂 i promise you will enjoy BK or a fish and chips and your pocket wont be shouting at you, the prices vs quality and service offend me

We went for an evening meal on a Monday night. The food was fantastic. My husband enjoyed a T-bone steak and I had the Mac and cheese. Good value for more money for the serving you get. The waiter Reagan was brilliant and even moved us tables when a bigger table became available. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

It has the best food at Weston has both a restaurant building and an outdoor seating by the sea! Amazing service! And the shakes are awesome too!

Love the whole American theme and slow smoked meat thing. Food was tasty, music was good, really enjoyed the flavours though after a bit a very clovesey taste was coming through in my pulled pork, I assume it was their recipe/relish? Not for me, personal dislike was not expecting. Another mark knocked off for the quick in and out feel, was not permitted to have a starter first, if I wanted the wings I had to have them at the same time as my main meal, I assume to free up my table quicker? I use a local establishment with the same theme, local one is 5 out of 5!

Really great food, burgers were amazing as was the pulled pork, highly recommend.

Usually have been here and had good experiences but this time, needed Wi-Fi as the signal isn’t great upstairs to be told your not allowed to give the password out. No one asked how our meals was until we had almost finished. Our babies kids meal was left to aside to cool down as was too hot- some one just took it away and then came back with his fork and said by the way we cleaned your babies spoon. When I told staff about this they did offer to re cook but we was almost finished and food had taken so long to cool! Food was average but experience and staff don’t make you feel welcome and so that reason alone I wouldn’t be back. The lady at the end took the service charge away- but this isn’t compolsary any way so I didn’t feel like they helped to resolve this.

Excellent food, decent portions and really friendly staff. Can't fault the place for a meal out with a good atmosphere and food. It's not a posh eatery but it's not supposed to be, just a cracking steakhouse.

Food took a very long time to arrive, staff were kind but generally unaware of how long they took.

We used to frequent it often before the pandemic. But now it's gone way down our list. We had booked for 7pm (a group of 4) and our order for food was taken at 7.15 ish. We passed our time by watching the PASS and the lady washing up and having bets to see if this was our order next! An hour later we finally got our food...it was ok...but certainly not to the standard pre 2020!! It was tasteless, rubbery and tbh I've had more flavour from a spoons steak! On the flip side the staff were absolutely amazing and worked damned hard...that's why we paid the service charge!!

From the second we walked in we felt very welcome. Paige was great, we chose a seat as it was right at the start of their evening service, and we were first in I wanted a selection of sides as my main, my partner choose the pulled pork, chips and pickles, and as it was a special treat we both had a cocktail. We polished every scrap of food put Infront of us because it was so delicious. I had burnt ends (because they are their own food group) , sweetcorn cobs, pickles and pastrami dirty fries. We chose not to have cheese sauce and the corn came with packs of butter so us lactose intolerant buggers didn't miss out on anything. Paige was on hand to answer questions even though she looked super busy training a new member of staff (Jacob) she was perfectly attentive and we both commented on her professionalism, and the great atmosphere in there. So glad we chose here as a treat while in WSM.

We were lucky to get a table soon after opening without booking but everyone after us was turned away - booking recommended! Food was absolutely beautiful and they cater to the fussiest of kids too. Perfect service and food as always. ***Update - perfect food and service as always but if sitting in a booth on a sunny day - it gets hot very quickly, there are no blinds/shading.

Was very disappointed with our visit last night. Came last year and was so good but last night was just a huge disappointment. The food took just over an hour to arrive - we almost gave up. The staff weren't very attentive, noone came to ask how we were, if we wanted another drink whilst we were waiting or to update/apologise for the delay. When we did ask how long our food would be, the waitress didn't come back with an answer it was like she forgot. Once the food did arrive it was OK and tasted good. Just a shame about the wait and lack of customer service

Nice food, just took a decade to arrive. Showed up 7 pints deep and was as sober as a priest by the time my burger arrived. £4.50 for a bottle of corona is hanging as well.

Have enjoyed coming to Bare Grills in Weston super Mare throughout the years. Sadly the service seems to have degraded over the last months. Close to a 2 hour wait on food after being told our table won’t be ready for another 20 minutes. A shame.

Great food, great service, cosy atmosphere. Would recommend if you’re a meat/bbq lover and they seek corona zero which is the king of alcohol free beer

First time in this place and I can honestly say that the food was amazing . The members of staff were first class , massive shout out to Paige and Kain for making our visit here a very pleasant and memorable experience. We will definitely be coming back .

the meat was extremely dry no taste at all! the whole meal was re heated. dissapoiting evening, i was definitely expecting more as it’s not exactly cheap! Waiter was helpful and apologetic! Discount was given but still alot of money spent when 75% of the food was left, not a happy customer 😑

We went today to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary on a Tuesday for lunch. Since it was mid-week and quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed the quick service, which Paige and Shain were wonderful! We are South African and we have been seeking some delicious smokey meat dishes and these hit the spot!! I had a full rack of ribs which were hot, sticky and tender (it was massive and I was lucky to take half of it home to enjoy it again for dinner) and my husband had to filthy pig burger which he said was a proper burger that he was craving. We are a couple that barely goes out to eat and we give ourselves 1 day of the year on our anniversary to eat what we really want, and this did not disappoint! I have found my new favourite place and we shall be back for sure! Thank you!

We had a table booked but on arrival it was closed and they didn't even cancel our booking when we phoned them to ask if they was open today they said no there doing kitchen work we had to go elsewhere which was not the same ,as we was really looking forward to a new year treat of bear grills

We hooked for our eldest sons birthday, we were dinning with 3 young adults with autism, we had requested a quiet table, previously we’ve sat upstairs which was perfect. We arrived to be told upstairs was shut, we were sat right by the main door which was in constant use, also under a very loud speaker. Our request had not been read until we walked in! Apparently nothing could be done, as we were eating our food food due to the door, 2 people walked in and were sat upstairs! plenty of seats downstairs, when I questioned this we got a shrug. To add insult they got my sons desert wrong, this was corrected but we had to ask for spoons twice! We did get a reduction on our bill, but to be honest we would have rather of sat upstairs and had hot food and a quiet area. Ruined the entire evening. I very much doubt we will return.

Excellent service and food still fantastic. 2nd visit to this establishment and it is still a wonderful experience. Staff very attentive and the food is top draw. Reasonable priced too. Had the ribs with the jalapeño loaded fries. Wonderful. All 6 of us in the family enjoyed our new year eve feast. Would highly recommend.

The staff were amazing, polite and kind Food was banging and the kids meals are pretty big It was a bit too pricey but defo worth it (even though it was £45 for the double sharer meal) Great experience but there was a dirty napkin

Proper Ribs cooked in a smoker how they are supposed to be but prices are still the same as the microwave pub versions! Good selection on the menu other than Ribs of burgers, chicken and pasta, also a children's menu. Recommended if you are in Weston-super-Mare!

Visited 2 weeks ago while having a few days in Weston following a small operation. We decided to eat here as we had eaten in the Taunton restaurant previously where the Burnt ends were stunning! (Unfortunately not quite as nice this time around 😬) but still nice. We made a booking but ended up going slightly earlier but there was no issue with this, the restaurant was quiet (which I like). Staff were lovely and welcoming. I had the Bare Grills burger and my hubby had the Gobstopper burger with a side of Onion rings to share and OMG they were sooooo good!!!! Burgers were delish! Would def recommend Bare Grills! X

Had been at home without power for almost 12 hours and came here for some much needed warmth and sustenance!!! We ordered the tower and it was superb! The burgers were so good as were the ribs! Chips were some of the tastiest around. The whole thing was amazing. My son went with a snickers brownie and again it was on point so soft and indulgent! And last but not least the staff, everyone we saw was friendly and spoke with a smile. Our server was brilliant even teased my son about the amount he could eat. Best meal I've had in ages. Will be returning with friends lol

We chose the 12oz rump steaks, and it was absolutely gorgeous and very tasty .would definitely recommend this place.

It was grubby, the guy serving had black dirt under his fingernails. Food was ok but not worth the money.

A really nice burger, some other bigger ones looked magnificent but I just wanted a simple one. Was surprised they don’t have beer on draft just bottled and I’ve knocked a star off because they charged me for fries that I didn’t order. It was only when I got the bill and was charged I realised I hadn’t actually ordered them but by then had eaten them. Not great practice

Food wasn't all that. Chicken wings were very dry. Service was o.k. atmoshere was pleasant, great soft country and western music and it seemed quite busy. Not a fan of the service charge being put on a bill before I requested it, only to ask me if I'd like to pay it or have it taken off. Would I go back? No, I don't think so. The food doesn't warrant a return visit

Back in Western supermare for wife's birthday and we've been coming to bare grills steak house few fews years now every time we're in the area we coming here at some point as the food is amazing staff helpful and friendly place has a really great atmosphere no matter what time of day you go i whent all out burger dirty fries wife dad the pulled pork food was amazing as normal thanks to all we just need a restaurant near home now please

Best place to grab a decent bit of meat, cheese and beer! Fantastic. Oh and the onion rings are the size of my face and gourmet!!

STUNNING! 10/10 We always love to go to Baregrills on special occasions and last night we were celebrating our anniversary. Service/Food/Everything was perfect. I saw this restaurant and it look really good, so decided to try it. We had a bare grill Burger and a full rack of ribs with extra Pickles. The food was excellent and came out really quickly, but the table service was not very good. The waitress forgot our drinks, and it took a while for anyone to come to our table to pay the bill and to get a take away container for the left overs. In the end we had to go up to the till to ask for a container and to pay the bill.

Very friendly and efficient service. Servings are way more than you may expect. Well worth the money.

We attended as a party of 4, food was very nice and came out fast, shame there’s no draught beers to go with your meal, all drinks looked to be coming out of cans. While I appreciate the decor is meant to look rustic, it can still be clean, if you aren’t gonna dust the weird glasses in boxes on the window ledges then take them away they just make the place look dirty. Last gripe is tip, 10% tip is automatically added to your bill, sorry but a tip is not automatic it should be deserved for good service which was not what we were given on the evening we attended. Staff had little interaction with us and it would help to remind customers that burgers don’t come with chips so that patrons who may miss this on your menu don’t end up hungry, upselling sides would better your staff engagement with customers too. Overall good food but experience needs a little work.

Tbh, didn't look like much from outside 😄 but glad we went in, a little tight for space as there were 6 of us but they sat us all together (we hadn't booked). Service was good & the food was great! Well recommended if your in the area.

Fantastic service. Came with a disabled friend and family, the waitress couldn't be more helpful. The food was brilliant. My mate had the 1/2 rack of ribs, my son had the bare grills burger, his girlfriend had the smoked pulled pork and I had the filthy pig. Would highly recommend all of the above.

I’ve enjoyed the food and service was also excellent. I’d visit again and highly recommend it if you like meat and burgers.

This spot is perfect for people who enjoy a good, authentic burger. Its large menu gives many options. The staff here are wonderful and very polite.

Absolutely loved this little gem of a place, had the best dirty fries I’ve ever had with a triple bacon burger, side order of onion rings which were awesome also, my wife had half rack of ribs which she said were the best ribs she’d ever had, staff were great & very friendly & helpful, would 100% recommend this place if ribs & burgers are your thing

Unfortunately after a very long wait and so much anticipation. I felt very disappointed after my visit!! The service we received was 10/10 couldn't fault the front of house member of staff! Unfortunately the food was where we got let down! I had the bare Grill combo for one! And to say when it came out I was ecstatic the tray it came out on (So much food) looked fantastic. The pulled pork and the smoked sausage was to die for!! Amazing!!! But unfortunately the chicken wings, half rack of ribs and the brisket burnt ends were all over cooked and dry as hell! The ribs barely had any meat on them due to being over cooked! Very disappointed with the price I paid!! My wife had the double cheese bacon burger and came out very dry and the crispy onions were burnt to the point it tainted the whole burger. Probably wouldn't go again after spending a lot of money and walking away very dissatisfied.

The nicest i have had. We came across this place by accident but definitely glad we did. We thought until now that burger boyz in port talbot was the best ever but Bare Grills is definitely the bedt iv ever been. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the food was out of this world and the atmosphere was great. Will live 2 hours away from here but we will 100% be going back. Dont do want burger boyz have by letting the food and service be over run by just eat and companies like that because it definitely spoils the customer service.

The food was very good - all freshly prepared and decent portion sizes. We had burgers, all of which were very substantial and delicious, with fries, corn on the cob and onion rings. The fries were really nicely seasoned and come in a big portion size (we could have shared a portion to be honest). Service was also excellent - friendly and confident. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars (which it could probably justify), is that it feels slightly expensive (£80 for three meals without dessert) and that they automatically add on a 10% service charge, which I've never liked places doing. Don't get me wrong, I'd have left a tip, but I always feel this is a bit cheeky to add it automatically. Overall though, a nice friendly place to eat with good food and good service.

Highly recommended if you're in Weston. Really close to the seafront. Quick and friendly service, and the food is up there with some of the best barbeque I've ever had.

Came here to celebrate our daughter in laws Birthday, The food was great, the service was brilliant. I’ve not been here before but will be back. A very small gripe if I have to have one, the music was a little loud making conversations around the table difficult.

Sat patiently waiting for around 10 mins, even after collecting menus for myself etc. The people that had food, looked great, the atmosphere was good. The staff running the show had no organisation skills whatsoever, cleaning a table before serving us and I watched them leave the food for well.iver 5 minutes.

Had dinner here the other week and loved it! I had the Bare Grills burger, my partner the ribs. Both were delicious, and even the chips were to die for, crispy and *really* well seasoned. As a true pickle lover, I can also say that there house pickles are some of the best I have had. We were really too full for pudding, but were kindly offered free cheesecake as they hated to throw it away (it was just before closing, guess it couldn’t keep another day) and that too was absolutely amazing. Everyone in there was also *really* friendly, excellent service all round. Can’t wait to go back to try more things, there were so many other tasty sounding dishes!

I had a meal there with 4 people and had to leave early. I ordered a steal and chicken wings. They forgot my wings and brought then out late. The average steak served on a roof tile was nothing to write home about either. When asking to settle the bill the said they couldn't split it and asked me to work it out myself from the menu. So I paid for mine and included a tip. When my friends settled up later, the staff added my wings onto the bill and said I hadn't paid for them and charged my friend an extra 10 quid. I found out and phoned the establishment and they told me I would have to get everyone to send their proof of payments and then they would check CCTV to see if had paid cash. I don't know what kind of clandestine receipt system they are using but it is Weston super mare after all. Overall, it is nice that they are giving special people jobs at least

Great food, and relaxing. Also my daughter was upset after having an accident and a lovely lady presuming owner/ manager was lovely and gave my daughter a free ice cream of her choosing. Highly recommend thank you.
