Last minute booking on way home from a day out. Managed to accommodate 7 of us at short notice. Faultless food and drinks and excellent service . 5 adults and 2 kids.

So glad we we introduced by local friends while staying down south. Amazing food service and owners and staff, loved it went twice in 3 days. Kelftico lamb was wonderful so was the Sunday roast. Thank you Simon for your excellent pub.

First time visit.Being a Sunday,they only had roast. It was very good.Great views as well.I'll go back but on a weekday.

A nice place to eat and to be treated with respect

We've lived just along the road from this pub for 10 years. It has been hit and miss, but in the last year this has become our 'go to' for pub food and particularly Sunday Roast. We now bring all our friends here both from Weston and when visiting, and cannot recommend the food highly enough. For a local pub, we feel really chuffed to have this on our doorstep.

Stopped in for a quick pint on the way past, couldn't have felt more welcome. Thanks for your hospitality.

Lovely staff quick service good food

Not a very warm welcome, last went here about 4 years ago - no improvement. Good view from rear garden, but that's just location. Toilets being the standard of hygiene & decor in a venue, we decided not to eat here. Sugar for your coffee is rationed too! Not nasty but not recommended either.

Visited for the first time in a long while based on a recommendation. Really impressed by the friendliness of the staff but even more impressed by the chicken curry that came with all the trimmings. A really good portion that tasted great and was nicely presented. My Mum's prawn jacket potato was equally good. Restaurant standard food in a friendly pub environment. Will definitely be returning. Went in for lunch, very friendly reception from staff, a very relaxed atmosphere and great food. A good menu offering choices of traditional and contemporary, some very tempting vegetarian and vegan dishes even though I am not either vegetarian or vegan. Will certainly be going back and definitely recommend.

Simply the best Sunday lunch and a 300 metre walk from home. Always a warm welcome and Lewis is a great host. I always try and wind him up but he's very savvy and gives as good as he gets. Always professional though. The food here is fabulous. I have a healthy appetite but it often beats me. Quality and quantity spot on.

The food was excellent tonight. We went as a family and ate: Sea bass, belly pork, ribs and a Brie mushroom and cranberry tart. All meal were superb. Thank you Lewis and Tom. Great service and restaurant management

juke box sometimes a bit loud . I MUST try the food as that comes well-recommended by at least two people I know. It's probably my local.

I've always liked The Windsor but now the food is the best it has ever been. 7 of us had lunch today and we had 7 different main dishes and 5 different deserts and they were all excellent. The service from Lewis and his team was very good, as usual. I really recommend it, and we will be returning soon to try the specials that are served in the evenings

Had a lovely meal last night. Squeezed us in at short notice. Partner said one of the best quality steaks he'd had in a long time. My lasgne was equally beautiful i would actually say the best I've had! Presented lovely too. Staff all great, friendly, polite and professional. A good local Pub with a mixture of all age nice friendly customers. I do also like that you could go in as dressed up as you want or casual, and feel comfortable in both. Glad we've moved local!

A real little gem. really friendly pub with a good selection of beers ciders and lagers. Really nice varied menu at sensible prices. The fish and chips are amazing as is the beer and stilton pie. Really pleasant restaurant manager. certainly return soon.

We came for Sunday Lundh and had a beautiful meal. We ordered beef and turkey and it came with all the trimmings plus Cauliflower cheese. The pudding was delicious too. We were well looked after by Lewis and his team. Would definitely recommend.

It had been a while since visiting the Windsor. It was great to be back at this epic pub. The restaurant used to be my go to for Sunday roast dinners and many meals in the back garden. This return was for a wake, the Windsor staff did my friend proud with an epic send off. There was so many people in the pub yet the staff were cool, friendly and quick with serving everyone. There’s always sport on the TV and great views from the restaurant area, decking and garden. I look forward to returning to the Windsor once more, Mark would’ve been super pleased with this send off, his family and the Windsor did him proud. ❤️

The Windsor Castle...Fit for a King. What a find! Beautiful food, friendly professional service in a lovely atmosphere. Only regret not taking photos to back up how we felt of our experience. Will definitely be going back. Crown Jewel in Weston. 10/10

Three rather “senior” couples visited on two consecutive evenings and were exceptionally pleased with their experiences on both occasions. From the warm welcome, the friendly and busy atmosphere, the prompt service and high quality good value food, we had no reason for complaint of any sort. Compliments and congratulations were more the order of the day. Two of us requested gluten free meals and these were carefully catered for and delivered. That said, a word of warning to fellow sufferers, do mention your needs and do not trust the printed menu. Food marked as gluten free should more correctly be marked as gluten free options are available. I almost ordered the steak and cheese pie - marked as gluten free - and had I not mentioned my need could easily have been given one that most certainly was not gluten free. Otherwise very highly recommended.

Pre booked table for my wife and 3 teenage grandchildren Welcomed warmly shown to table and came over short while later to take drinks orders Menu covered majority of our requirements, albeit we needed to make one change, and this was happily carried out Comment: the menu could be improved with addition of further hot vegetarian options All food from steak, ribs, burger were cooked perfectly and sizeable portions My granddaughter whom had the burger said it was the best she had ever had Sufficient attention to make sure we were ok with everything and were not rushed at any time Dessert very good selection, required one choice change as they had run out of one item but no problems for us The ladies in the group noticed a small issue in the ladies toilets being the locks on doors and looked a bit scruffy However all in all it was very good service, good quality food at good prices

I don’t normally write many reviews however I felt this place deserved a review. Staying with my family for a short break we went for a Sunday roast, plenty of food, piping hot and friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming again.

Popped in for lunch & food was absolutely lovely. Excellent customer service. The only downside was that the place could do with a really good deep clean (the light fittings were filthy, dead insects on the window sill behind our table, fag butts all outside in the garden on the floor & dirty tables).

We had a buffet provided and it was absolutely amazing great buffet and went around very well with extra to take home. Vert kind, helpful welcoming staff too. Nice enough lunch. Place looks like it could do with a good clean though.

My partner and I came for food last night, we hadn’t booked and it was really quite busy, but a table was found for us within about 10 minutes, and the food was second to none. I’ve never tasted anything like it. The service was also 10/10. Will definitely be coming here again, and definitely recommending to family and friends. Amazing. Thank you.

Recently moved to the area and have started using the pub as our local, staff very friendly good beers and food nice. If your coming in for food would book as can get busy.

We booked a meal for 7people to celebrate our Mother's 94th Birthday. The staff were so hospitable and helpful. The food was amazing - more restaurant quality than pub food and everyone of us loved it. They allowed us to bring a cake and also made a lovely gesture towards our Mother's meal. Will definitely will be going back again - so glad that a friend recommended it to us otherwise we might never have known about it.

We came a couple weeks back as a group of 7 work colleagues, booked in nice and efficiently, all 7 of us highly satisfied with all our food and drinks. Service was amazing and even was good to save limited meals where they heard some of us had interest. We will be back as it’s a hidden gem 💎

Popped in for lunch yesterday at my sons recommendation, wow we weren't disappointed what a treat delicious meal, beautifully moist scampi and such lovely chips generous portions, side salad and dressing fab presentation ,reasonably priced attentive and friendly staff sadly we were unable to sit in the restaurant side and see the stunning views as we had a dog with us but thats fair enough in the warmer weather the outside decking area will be really nice to sit in think this place will get busy when the word gets out about the exceptional food highly recommend will definitely go back

Nice pub with well priced wine and beer, decent atmosphere and cosy nooks to get lost in. Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. Did see a plethora of massive rats on the decking outside which was the only issue

Just had Roast Beef (and my Wife Roast Ham), Sunday Lunch here, it was absolutely amazing (or as we say down 'ere, "Gurt Lush"! Great, friendly service as well to boot - def be back!

I was really surprised by the high quality (and quantity!) of food I ate at this lovely little pub restaurant. I've been there twice recently: once with my father and once with my husband. Both times all our menu choices were delicious and it is very good value. I highly recommend the steak and kidney pie. It was fab and their gravy is superb! They have a new chef apparently and, in my opinion, he is a "keeper"! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the views from the restaurant are stunning. My dad even commented on the playlist, which had him humming along and tapping his feet. Cannot recommend this more highly if you just want good food in a great little place!

Far nicer than your average family food pub Popped in on a whim for a quick late lunch. Large car park, pleasantly decorated restaurant area with nice views over the pub gardens & Weston environs. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming; food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious: particularly the chicken & leek pie and perfect chips. The portions are very generous and very good value for money.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely setting & garden, car park, child friendly. But ruined by being Freezing cold with doors propped wide open, in October, and constant rap & garage music playing. Do not come here for anything if you need a convivial atmosphere. Not recommended.

Great pub & restaurant. Great knowledge of gluten free for coeliac disease. Very friendly & welcoming & disabled access is Great. We stayed a few mins walk away & frequented every day for either a drink or a drink & meal. Will definitely be returning again soon. Well done team windsor. Lewis, Tracey & Martin are all fantastic as are all staff.

We had a birthday meal, 17 of us, service was fast, and the food was the best quality and tasted amazing, we had a variety of dishes. we will all be returning in the near future. 😋

I assume a change in management or a different chef. Food was poor and probably pre cooked and warmed up. I had pork and it was soggy despite menu alleging crispy crackling. We will not return but sadly it was our local. Staff were very pleasant but the quality of the food spoke volumes.I hope they review their menu and avoid pre packaged food to warm up.

Myself and two friends were beaten up by a man who has now been jailed for 2 and a half years. The guy in question who carried out the attack was being troublesome all evening and was reported to the landlord and landlady on 3...

Have been here a few times since Christmas , more in hope than expectation. The staff are great and the place is clean and comfortable. It’s the food. Sometimes alright and sometimes not. Burned black stir fry dished up on a busy night and cold...

When I last visited this pub in February 2020 ("Apathetic staff and terrible food") it was one of the worst places I had ever visited in Weston! But new people have taken over in the last 18 months and what a difference! The street facade...

First visit made to feel very welcome by Martin and Tracey. Pleasant surroundings with good sized garden area with views across WSM. Good selection of drinks and Sunday roast looked and smelt wonderful. Definitely will be going back.

The Windsor Castle is my local pub. A proper pub with a large selection of real ales and Lagers. It also has a restaurant serving a good choice of meals. But come prepared the portions are for those with a good appetite.

Good choice good quality reasonable price and great service and great choice of beer etc.what else do you want?
