Miller & Carter Weston Gateway in North Somerset

Lovely spot for a night out, the food a butchers block was stunning and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Belinda was lovely very friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention and let us have some time between courses. The rest of the staff that we encountered was also very nice n helpful.

This was an absolute gem of a find! We had the ultimate steak experience which was unreal. We are very well travelled and very fussy so we didn’t know what to expect as this was our first visit to a Miller and Carter. It exceeded all expectations and the quality of the food and service matched some of the most high quality restaurants we have visited here and abroad. We spent almost £200 for two people but it was worth every single penny. I could not fault one thing. Special occasion/romantic dinner or just casual dining I would go again and again.

Unacceptable 45 mins delay in serving food because one of the group ordered lamb although, when it did arrive, it was very well received by most of the party of 5 of us. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

It's becoming more like home from home, great staff, great food, tasty & well presented in a welcoming environment. The steaks & sauces have all been great, cooked to perfection & so has the Pork Tomahawk.

Food was great, we had the fixed lunch menu which was good value for money. The service was great our server Belinda was very welcoming and the service was very quick highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere and brilliant food for a reasonable price. The butchers blocks were really tasty with good variety. Belinda was a brilliant waitress and made us all feel very comfortable.

Tried the Sunday sharing platter for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. All 3 meats cooked to perfection and the side dishes were just as delicious. Zoe took great care of us and ensured we were happy with everything. She was really lovely and made our experience a positive one.

Food was excellent!! The service terrible... the restaurant wasn't even quarter full and all 7 members of waiting staff stood chatting at the bar.. I had ask for a member of staff to take the drinks order, then again to take the food order... wasn't asked if we would like any condiments with our meals, again had to ask a member of staff. Good job there was no service charge on the bill because I would of asked to have it removed...

Fab dinner for our sons 16th birthday

Completely a different experience on a Sunday than our last visit No welcome at the door waited for a member of staff to see us sometime later someone came to take us to our table. Given menus and told someone would be over to take our order We waited over 10 minutes and not one member of staff even bothered to acknowledge us or take a drinks order tell us they would be with us as soon as possible nothing. The restaurant was quite busy but tables were left with dirty plates on them and no customers sat at the them. We decided to leave and no one even bothered to say goodbye. Very disappointing we would think twice before coming back .

Lovely relaxed atmosphere greeted with a smile, not rush by Belinda our waitress however she checked, suggested and added humour to the conversations. We felt totally looked after. It was a lovely place to catch up with old friends.

First time we had visited the Weston miller and carter. Excellent food and excellent service from Belinda, will be back.

Me and my family had a meal and it was lovely. The food was great and the service was brilliant thanks to Belinda . Such a great evening thank you brilliant Belinda.

Staff were friendly and the food was tasty. However it's very expensive, I stayed clear of the wine when I saw the prices. We ordered a dirty burger and at over £21 is the most expensive burger we've ever had. There was no onion loaf included which it said should have been on the menu and and burger was small. We wouldn't return as there are other restaurants in the area that are better value and just as nice.

We promised never to go here again after our last few meals were rubbish. Things like, poor service, menu items not available, even no mustard, in a steak house, 500 yards from a supermarket. Hard to believe. Our friends said it had significantly improved, and it has. This experience was ok.
