Blues Bar in North Somerset

We stumbled on this bar whilst going somewhere else, and we never made it to where we were going! I don’t think we’ve ever been anywhere quite like it, the staff are so accommodating and friendly they make you feel like friends from the moment you enter. They have live music each weekend which was fab, we liked it so much we went back the next night! We didn’t eat here, but next time we’re in Weston we will

This has a small bar area what can be packed if there's a singer act. It's not exactly Blues like I'm used to ,so don't expect it to be like Memphis Beale Street festival. I only use the bar so I can't comment on the food. My only complaint is that there's only on gents toilet in the premises.

We went in specifically to have the charcuterie/graze board and even though it wasn't on the menu they gladly made it for us. And boy was it worth it. OMG I love this type of food and this was best one I have had in a restaurant. Full of delicious cheeses, meats, fruits, pickles, breads and biscuits. I will DEFINITELY be going back again. Lovely friendly staff ❤️

Will return to sample the food , the menu selection was excellent. Cocktails all made fresh. They were celebrating their one year anniversary. Outside seating available. You cannot miss this place it's the one underneath the bright blue statue of liberty. Call in you will not be disappointed.

Giles Hicks - Professional Drummer Today was my second visit for breakfast at Blues Bistro Bar in Weston Super Mare. Had the Full English breakfast £9.95 (which included a refreshing mint tea or you could have an alternative) and it was just as delicious as my first visit.....superb quality produce, very tasty and bang on for the price! Nice one guys, keep it up and will see you again SOON

Popped in for 1 drink on a day out in Weston and ended up staying for 6 or 7. The cocktails are amazing and I hightly recommend the strawberry daiquiri. Forget your big chain pubs and bars where you are served and not spoken to as this place has customer service spot on where the staff take the time to talk to you and make you feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely visit and we will certainly be back again soon.

This was the first day of our break a suprise for my wife we spent the afternoon in the BLUES BAR a loverly clean quaint friendy bar we was made very welcome by the licencee/owner ,oh the beer was good too

Great breakfast. Good price! Eggs benedict was excellent.

Staff very friendly and efficient. The only thing that lets this place down is the toilets. Only 1 toilet for men and 1 for women.

First time in here for years. Brilliant service, amazing atmosphere and a fabulous singer. We had an amazing evening celebrating the end f 2023 and will definitely revisit in 2024. We didn't eat but wished we had looking at the food that was being served. Great range of drinks and cocktails. Plenty of seats, customer toilets and amazing staff. We done 💕💕

What a gem of a place. We came for Xmas eve drinks with friends and were really impressed with the whole set up. Its family run and you can really tell. Great service, lovely atmosphere, great singer for our entertainment. The lads behind the bar did a great job and never kept anyone waiting. I look forward to visiting again.

Had such a wonderful time last night for our staff Christmas do! Food was lovely the graze boards were a hit! the atmosphere and entertainment was fantastic and the staff just couldn't do enough for us. 10 out of 10!

Great venue with live music and food.

Haven't been there since COVID lock down, had a mini cooked breakfast and a cup of tea total price £9.95. was one of the best fry ups I've had in a very long time. Totally recommend them.

Neither of us drink alcohol but that was no issue. Cool, funky vibe to the place. Breakfast was top notch- generous proportion, quality food (well chosen sausages, lovely chunky bread). Defo recommend!

Well what can I say, never been before and unsure what to expect but all I can say is wow, fantastic services, friendly staff and amazing food. We had some eat breakfast and some eat lunch and they were all tasty and presented well. Thanks guys we will be back

Blues Bar is a refreshing new place to eat delicious food and enjoy good live music in Weston. I enjoyed my evening there sharing a graze board with friends and listening to the local artist they had performing that night. They also have a good variety of cocktails which we all enjoyed throughout the night. The atmosphere is classy but relaxed and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I also stopped in for a full breakfast, which was amazing.

For a new venture in Weston this bar is up there as one of the best bars to visit Everytime we visit we are made to feel very welcome the prices are very good for premium drinks Definitely somewhere to visit

BEST BREAKFAST IN WSM...honestly so fresh, cooked brilliant, clean, the full English was sublime. I'm guess they are really hight quality produce ,right down to the black pudding. And the meaty meaty dense sausages..lovely. My kids absolutely nailed the pancakes too.the women who served us was polite, funny yet professional at the same time. The waitress was really accommodating and happy to help.

Great decor and atmosphere. The music was chilled but lively. Very welcome addition the upmarket bar scene in the town centre. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food yet but we will definitely be back in the future.

Lucy is so lovely. Nothing is ever too much and the food is always delicious.

This place is now called Lucy's, but also Browns Stateside Diner. We a here on the 03-05-22. We arrived just after 9am & left after 11am. The service was appalling slow, which they lost our ticket & messed up the order! My daughter ordered the pancakes, which had blueberries in, but wasn't specified on the menu. I asked 3 times for some milk to go with the tea, but that never materialised. The wrong milkshake arrived, which was surprising with only 2 other families inside the diner so not busy at all. They did knock off the wrong food & drink from the bill, but I would avoid this place.

Forget about Route 66 just take a drive down the highway (M5) and have breakfast/lunch in America. This place is a real gem and serves up a large slice of Americana. The food is good (I had the waffles) and the coffee was great. See for yourself, you won't be disappointed; I even met Elvis!

Serves really great breakfast. I had pancakes with strawberries, my husband had a full English, really good to have somewhere that serves both types of breakfast all day. The food was tasty and well presented, served really quickly. We'll definitely be back!

On the positive,the food was really tasty, great variety of items on the menu and what we ate was good. Negative, losing a star was slightly shoddy service we were given food but no cutlery, various items missing and had to keep asking for things we'd ordered that hadn't turned up which got awkward in the end! us the table was super sticky and felt gross. Probably a 3.5 stars. Halloumi sticks were delicious though

We went here yesterday ordered 2 ribeye steaks and the smell of it would of knocked you out I tasted it just to be shore and it was gone off they served us rotten gone off steak and they trying to tell me she bought it 3 days ago a complete load of rubbish more like 3 weeks ago if I could give this place no stars I would definitely avoid ice eat steak all the time at home and every time we go out but that have put me off for life I can't explain how bad it smelled it made my kids feel sick

It has changed branding, and is now called Lucy's. Had the Big One Breakfast. Everything was freshly made, with good ingredients, and very good value for money at £4.30!

Good food , friendly staff and dogs welcome

My son turned 7 on 28th October and wanted a Kaspas. Thankfully they were closed until 2pm otherwise we wouldn't have found this gem. The amazing service from our server who's name I've forgotten so please accept my apologies as she really deserved the credit for the service given. The atmosphere was in keeping with the name and well themed. Good quality food that was ALL cooked fresh! From a full English to American pancakes and waffles. Between our table we covered all of these and all plates were cleared. Thank you again and although our first visit it certainly won't be our last

My partner and I both had the chicken and waffles. It was delicious. I hope it's not removed off the new menu. Honestly the portion size is huge and the prices great. One waffle would have done me plenty. It would be great if they could make the bacon a permanent fixture with the chicken and waffles as it goes so well! Some spring onion would just finish it off but it's super tasty as it is! Definitely will be coming here again as we've tried to find places that do chicken and waffles elsewhere and this is only the second place we've found so far! Milkshake needed more chocolate tho. Love the decor and atmosphere of the place. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into it.

Very good. They do chicken on waffles! Enough said. Wish it had come with more syrup and 2 rashers of bacon. Hosts were attentive and proactive in sorting out your dish. Restaurant looks clean.

Coffee nice but don't go if you are a coeliac as cook woman told me the fryer is so hot it cooks the gluten out 😲 😳!!! On a previous visit they had early trad jazz playing 🎺 which was nice.

Dreadful service, the outdoor seating is the narrow pavement outside obstructing a post box - I posted 2 letters for people who couldn't reach. Very slow coming for the order, ordered, waited half an hour then we were told the order hadn't been put through to the kitchen, did we want to wait. We didn't bother. The ladies/babychange/disabled toilet was stuck in the stock area, not wheelchair accessible and is grubby. Very 'brown'.

Whether you are english or bulgarian (because the owner is bulgarian), you will be welcomed with a smile. The food is delicious, they have different varieties of dishes (from the traditional english breakfast to specialities of their own). The atmosphere reminds you of a nice american bar. So if you are interested in not eating all the ordinary fast foods and etcetera, you can be pleased to visit Browns Stateside. Enjoy!

An American style diner, but don't let that put you off as it is English cafe/lunch food with a few American dishes such as pancakes I like the food as they use good locally sourced produce. Had the breakfast this time. They had upgraded the sausages to those from a butchers across the square & they are ssooo tasty ! Good friendly service. Coffee & cakes. They also sell booze (alcohol).
