Dexters Take Out in Bridgend

Cheese and potato pie with sausage, bacon, and beans was amazing! Delivered piping hot within 30 minutes from ordering. Proper comfort food. The black pudding in batter was out of this world.

Every time I go here the staff are rude and seem like they don’t care about customers. I gave it another opportunity today but again they cancelled my order due to lack of delivery drivers- supposedly. Then when tried to place an order via phone to collect was told they only have pie and chips. Won’t be going again. Advice is not to bother and order elsewhere :(

I had a nice pizza from Dexters during a recent trip to the area. Swift, friendly service and with a wide choice of toppings included it was good value. 12" was enough for lunch the next day too.

First time coming here and it was lovely found Dexters by accident but very pleased I did the food was spot on reasonable priced and the staff were lovely. I will definitely be coming back next time I am down that way

Tried Dexters takeaway tonight for the first time. Ordered faggots, peas, gravy and chips plus 8oz burger, coleslaw etc. excellent food. Must say this maybe the best burger I have eaten. Hope this high standard continues. Well done x

Onion rings soggy Pizza garlic bread. Burnt we had to take the center out to try make it edible but it was pointless. Cooked so much you could snap it. Burger was okay but nothing special. Lettuce all slimey so it put me off. Opted for the fish shop chips, received all hard chip ends so they were left as well. Chicken was okay but nothing to write home about.

Just tried Dexters in Pencoed for the first time. Everything was lovely except for the chips! They were extremely dry and didn't taste freshly cooked. It doesn't make us want to return when there are better chip shops in the area!

Having heard so much hype about this place from friends and family members, we thought we would give it a try. To be completely honest, burgers and pizza are not really our thing, however i must say, We were completely blown away with the size and quality of the burger, it was restaurant quality, well better than that actually. My partner had fish and chips which was in his words, "the best he had ever had". Quite frankly everything we ordered, the burger, pizza, fish and chips and the children meals were all hot, fresh, full of flavor, and really well packaged and presented. We have definitely been converted, and can not wait to try more things on the very impressive menu. Highly recommend.
