The food is very good but the service is quite long. Service remains the main problem of this establishment. Send the condition of the salt shaker how served. It's a shame.

Waited an hour for the wrong order and soggy, bland nachos

I completely understand it's a busy place but the service was horrendous. We ordered food it took extremely long. A girl handed the food with no cutlery. We had to ask two more members before they finally give some.The steak was impossible to cut or eat . It came with peppercorn sauce, however we had to ask three times for it. It came 10 mins later then the food. Very disappointed

We prebooked and prepaid for our party of 30+ people a month in advance. They provided us with a great set menu and a kids menu option and even rang us two days before to confirm all was well. This is about the only thing that went well. When we arrived some of our party were almost refused entry as the bouncers claimed it was 18+ only but we pointed out we had prepaid for our children so we’re allowed in. Next we were met with news that our preordered food was not available and the new options were unsatisfactory and did not cater to some of our groups dietary needs. We then waited 1.5 hours before eventually receiving 4 starters and one kids main course and this was only after much hassling. After 3 hours we left with no food and no explanation as to what went wrong. We watched plenty of other people arrive order and receive their food. We have never had such a bad experience before.

We booked a party of 33 for 19.00. We pre ordered our meals. It is now 20.30. Still no food!! Now saying we only booked for 22. We have already paid for 33. And they have laid up for 33. Totally rubbish Not worth one star!!!! Hope the CEO sees this review!!!!! Totally rub

Amazing drinks, staff always asking if they can help

Visited Monday, 14 April for drinks only. Nice atmosphere and busy. Served drinks in plastic cups which was such a let down. Cocktails were buy one get one free which was a good deal. The cocktails were really nice to be fair. Husband disappointed to be drinking pint of beer in plastic cup. The plastic cups will put us off coming again. As we were sat inside I can’t understand why when we were sat inside.

Bought the afternoon tea voucher on Wowcher. It was £29 for an afternoon tea set for 2 with two cocktails as well. I absolutely love this afternoon tea because it is different. Not a huge fan of traditional British afternoon tea as they are mainly sandwiches, scones and cakes only, too sweet for me. Prefer more savoury food items like this one. Beef sliders, onion rings, cheesy tots, chicken tenders are perfect finger food, great for kids and adults and everyone. Staff is attentive, met my dietary requirements of no chocolate. Drinks are delicious as well and of great variety! Will definitely come back. Highly recommend here if you are near the docks in Liverpool!

Went here for some food and drinks in the afternoon to celebrate my 21st. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. The food came out stone cold, and even though the place wasn’t busy, the service was painfully slow even though there was plenty of staff on just standing and chatting to each other. We waited far too long just to have the cold food taken back. The manager, Michele, was no help at all, honestly, as useful as a doorknob. Very disappointed with the entire experience. Definitely won’t be returning EVER AGAIN!!!

Visited Revolution Albert Dock on 08/04/25. After ordering drinks we sat outside and ordered a sharing platter via QR code on the table. After about 1/2 hour an order for food which looked like ours was delivered by a waitress to a couple on an adjacent table. Indeed it was our food and he told us he’d ordered it only 5 minutes previously and was shocked that it had arrived so quickly. I went into the bar to complain and never got so much as an apology. I wasn’t prepared to wait another 1/2 hour so took a refund. If the waitress had bothered to check the table number properly this wouldn’t have happened and it was totally avoidable. We left totally unimpressed with your establishment!

My friends and I order spiced mango cocktail which we have been ordering over 3 years here in Liverpool. Here in revolution it hurt our throat as it was hot on another level. We then politely asked the staff if we could get a replacement or if they can remake the drink with less spice, not only they didn’t acknowledge us but said it’s what we make and that our tase buds are different. I have been to the high end restaurants in Liverpool and never have I been treated this way. It was a sad affair.

Glasses are filthy, how they are serving in them I will never know, we went there for the cocktails only to be told there not 2 for 1 when the menu clearly states it was and we were in there late afternoon. Shocking service waiting at the bar clearly they only work a small part of the bar so you have to make sure you are standing in the correct place even though it does not state this anywhere. Very poor just really disappointed to have a prime spot on the dock I expected much better

Not my first time here and have enjoyed it massively before. The staff are useless they ran out of a drink and didn’t tell us until 30 mins after we ordered on the app they then said they would make another one and forgot to make it. We waited an hour and only got the drink after having to look at the staff. When the drink came there was no apology and the server didn’t even deliver the drinks. We were not the only table as people were coming up constantly not receiving drinks

Had a lovely brunch with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Dionne was wonderful and attentive 5 🌟 Thank you for making our day extra lovely!

The Place looked nice. Would have loved to have tried their food, but the hostess wasn’t interested in seating us. Told us they were fully booked. However over half the tables were empty. Oh well. I won’t beg you to take our money. 🤷🏽

Steak pie was not that great and the sauce got on my shirt and pants.the employees were really kind overall the atmosphere was great and all but the food took long and was not that good.

Brilliant location day or night. The drinks are okay priced. 2 for 1 cocktails about £12 and happy hour deals on pints. Very few staff seen and barmaid was pretty rude, but probably busy and pissed off people were ordering cocktails she had to make. Usual pub grub. 4*

I would like to say I’ve been here two years on the run for my birthday and I’d like to give a special thank you to Michelle who made our night amazing with her service. Michelle was nothing but polite and really accommodating. Absolutely love this bar and will definitely come again and again!!!

Came in here on a hen do. Originally we was booked in at Revolution de Cuba at 10pm but I received a call to say for unforeseen circumstances they could no longer accommodate our booking and offered to move us to Revolution and have our package honoured. We accepted as we were in Liverpool for the weekend only. When we got there we had a table all together which was good. However, our initial package was we all have a drink voucher worth £8.50 or similar to use at the bar, and the remaining of our tab can be spent on whatever. We had to pay £10pp as a deposit. Instead we were given wristbands and were told to go to the bar and they'll take our order off the tab with our wristbands. The problem with this is all cocktails were practically over £10 so in the end when the last girl went to order, she got told she had to pay cos our balance had ran out so our original package wasn't honoured truly. As well our booking was 10pm-12am. We did not know the venue shut at 12am and checked and Revolution de Cuba shut at 2am. At 11:30pm the lights came on and the music went quieter. By 11:45pm the music had stopped. We were so disappointed as we paid to be there till 12am. Then at 11:54pm as 8/14 of us were waiting for taxis, the bouncers wanted to kick us out. They said they have to close the doors at 12am so we had to leave which we argued we have a booking until 12am. Our taxis then arrived at 11:57pm so overall, we were not impressed with Revolution. This is the sister bar to Revolution de Cuba which we are 90+% sure it was open Friday night because we drove past it, so not sure why we were even moved. Overall this was extremely disappointing so if you're coming in for a booking like this, just take note. I've emailed Revolution de Cuba complaining and will redirect to Revolution if I need to

Nice cocktail bar, great atmosphere

Went twice today and completely ignored, first time we stood for 10 mins, waiting for a table and even though 2 members of staff walked past us (we even had to move for them) neither of them acknowledged us, went for a drink later on stood at the bar and didn't get served but they did serve other people that got to the bar after us. What's happened to this place used to be a great place to go.

Service was awful. Staff were moody and unprofessional. Stopped making my drink to show their friends a meme… food was slim for what we paid for. Cocktails were alright.

I was on February 28, 2025 having a great day in Liverpool, we stopped at this bar to have a few pints. After ordering the drink, the waitress, bringing it, throws the tray and 400 ml of beer falls on me (Anyone can have an accident). Soaked... with the temperature there I went to the bathroom to take my pants out in the dryer. The new phone soaked. What caught my attention the most was that Danielle, the waitress, did not even apologize, outrageous. I will not go again and I will not recommend it.

Absolutely superb. We’ve been in there for the last weeks on a Saturday and the atmosphere was electric. I don’t know what the name of the guy is who does the DJing but he is absolutely superb. It’s basically the reason we stay in there so long. We’ll be back again next week.

We had an amazing time here for a Hen Party Cocktail Masterclass and food. I spoke to and organised with the team via email/phone prior to arriving with hen party and they went above and beyond especially Will to sort food pre orders and accommodate changes as well as sorting payments. When we arrived it was a Saturday and valentines weekend so quite busy but we got space at bar to get drinks while we waited to be taken upstairs for the masterclass. The area for the masterclass is nice as still get some of the bar atmosphere but it's not too loud and got nice views of the docks. We were welcomed with shots and there were 3 pitchers of cocktails for the group (13 of us) which went around quite well. Trey who did our cocktail masterclass was brilliant and made the event to be honest. He had great way with everyone and was able to keep us on track (as much as possible) we all got to make cocktails of choice, play drinking games and have more shots to finish. We were then moved to the 3 boothes next to the cocktail making area and again even though another class was after us we still felt like the party was able to interact and the food came very quickly with preorders. Only the bride hadn't preordered so not to spoil what she was going to be doing and her food was still done quickly Lauren (and the other lady serving the food/drinks) were great getting the food out and co ordinating with me and my spreadsheet for who had what. So we felt we had plenty time to eat chat and drink some more. Settling the bill was easy too and they were able to do a separate food and drinks bill which helped immensely at the end. Only negative was that we did ask for one plain nachos with masterclass and all the loaded nachos came out but not the plain ones until just before class ended but it did get sorted once we spoke to the staff. Would highly recommend for parties of any kind.

Ate here this evening as my kids really wanted to go, lovely looking place and with the live music it had a lovely atmosphere. Staff were efficient. Toilets were clean. Food was nice enough, not especially wowing when it came but kids were happy. Just dropped one star as the ‘mocktails’ (£8 for two) were revolting, like drinking liquidated sherbet, had horrible images of my teeth rotting to stumps! Had the mocktails as my youngest really wanted one and my oldest wanted Pepsi, I wish the youngest had wanted Pepsi!

Lauren was an absolute gorgeous server would come to us every 5 minutes for drink orders we would be overflowing with drinks as you should be during a bottemless brunch I cannot thank her enough and revolution for a gorgeous night!!

Just dont! Came for bottomless brunch, took half an hour before we got served and a further half an hour to receive our drinks. In the 2 hours we was here, we only got served twice. We felt ignored the whole time we was there, and our table wasn't cleared once. Absolutely apauling serving. We paid in full but got a few sides which totaled around 13 pound and they tried to charge us 33 pound. We will never return

I was on a hen party weekend, and our activity was cocktail making. We arrived 5 minutes before our arrival time, as it was busy we were told to wait outside, it wasn't too long before we was called into our private room. I thought the room was small, but we managed. On arrival, there were cocktail pitchers and shots on the table. Then our bartender Rhys came and explained what was going to happen. Rhys was amazing and really made the experience. We started in group of 3s and made our own cocktail. My group chose an expresso martini, which was delicious. Then our food arrived, this was good too. Then it was time for part 2, we had to race each other, making a strawberry woo woo, this was so funny. I don't want to spoil it too much as the experience was just so good, and I would 100% recommend it.

We came here for my auntys hen do and paid a higher price for a premium cocktail master class and 3 course meal. It was a Saturday so it was busy as expected. We got upstairs to where we were being hosted and our bartender was lovely, however due to pressure on him to move us quickly it was really rushed. We’d be given/or make a drink and instantly have to get up and do it again, there was no time to drink the ones we just had as he was under instructions to get us out quickly. I don’t really appreciate paying for a premium experience and being rushed. Then we got down to the 3 course meal. I appreciate the email says that some of the tables they have to move are not ‘moveable’. However it does not state anywhere that the tables are not TOGETHER. We were at a hen do together, enjoying one another’s company and then we have to sit separately and with our backs to each other. I spoke to a waiter/host and he said ‘well it does say on the email’ and I advised that the email is actually not specific at all. Nowhere does it say I won’t be able to sit with my relative on her hen do and I’ll have to sit on a whole other table, it just says the tables might not be able to move. I appreciated it isn’t the waiters fault and we decided to make the best of it, but upon reflection I don’t think it was great planning on their part to put events back to back if it meant rushing and forcing customers who have paid for an experience to hurry up. Overall, we had a nice time because we made the best of it, but considering we spent a lot of money here we did not receive the experience or the treatment we were expecting or should have had.

Binnen gestapt voor de lunch. Kwamen er erg laat achter dat de bediening geen bestellingen opneemt. We werden eigenlijk gegeneerd. Het interesseert het personeel werkelijk helemaal niks wat er gebeurt in de zaak. Na het bestellen duurde het 32 minuten voordat de lunch er was. De sandwiches waren uiteindelijk wel aardig, de frietjes koud.

Great location on the Albert dock but the drinks and especially cocktails aren’t great to be honest. The venue was empty when we arrived but when we went to order food they told us they could only “cope” with their bookings therefore “no food orders for walk ins” pathetic to be honest. Came for a bottomless brunch tonight. Waste of two hours and of £70. Service was poor- rushed into deciding what we wanted to eat and then when eventually served our food was freezing. Me and my partner felt constantly ignored as there was bigger groups who were clearly prioritised. Drinks for them flowing every 5 minutes while we went almost 40 minutes without waitress even bothering to come over to our table. She literally walked past every time, seeing we had no drinks. She must not have liked our faces or the fact we only went for standard package. We also noticed that the bigger groups were notified when it came close to the end of their bottomless and then given additional drinks as well as free rounds of shots? I thought this was very unfair overall as we had paid for a good experience also but left with nothing but a bitter taste in our mouths of the service. I will also mention that we had to go to the bar ourselves to request drinks which I think is quite poor considering. Even when we did this we were told, I will somebody over… they didn’t. Either way it made us feel belittled and Would not reccomend the place to somebody I disliked. The ending to top it all of was us being rushed to leave our table as they had another booking. We were told this while trying to rush over last drink we begrudgingly received. Total rudeness and shit display of customer service.

AWFUL shocking staff. Went on a Thursday night pre booked, the tab had spend £25 and get a free £25 this was fine however doesn’t include food which is fair we spent over £100 it was great. Went back the following day asked to open a tab different staff on a Friday night on the 3rd of Jan they said you need to be pre booked so we booked a table online to then get told I’ll only do it if you get food which completely contradicts the previous night. Horrible,rude, terrible staff that night floor staff a gormless and completely neglect your service over all shocking! If your going for a special occasion like this was for a birthday, don’t bother they don’t want service just pure lazy staff who want to skive behind the bar!

My friend from Germany was back visiting me in Liverpool. We went to the Albert Dock and decided to stop here for lunch. There was no gas in the pumps, so you could only get bottled drinks. It's a shame there wasn't a poster on the door or someone to tell you this, but no one welcomed or acknowledged us. When the food did arrive, my chips were just about warm, and my friends' mac and cheese and halloumi fries were tasteless, and because of this, it also felt overpriced. I would not recommend going, though their Christmas decorations were good and the best part about our visit.

Proper, thick burger. The slaw was amazing, staff was sweet.

We arrived here 10 minutes early for a paint and sip class. We queued at the bar and watched everyone get served before us, definitely people who arrived after us. The bar staff didn't even look at us. We didn't get served before the class so had no drink. After class we went downstairs and used the app to order food and drinks, only to be told that they weren't serving food. No apology... Just "we will refund you". I asked them to refund the lot and we left. So we didn't have a single drink in the 2.5 hours we were here. Wouldn't go again.

Visited Liverpool Revolution on Albert Dock 12/12/24 at 6pm. The establishment was half empty but some tables were reserved and decorated for parties. So we found a table across the back that was clear with no reserve signs. There was also a group of four sitting at the opposite end of the same table as us. We noticed after approximately 10 minutes of being there that a bar team member was chatting to the other 4 about moving tables but we didn’t hear clearly. We thought it maybe something to do with ordering food. I went to the bar and got myself and my wife 2 Aperol Spritz drinks at a cost of £22.00 , I was served by a particularly rude and disinterested bar staff member that never spoke at all . I then headed back to my seat. After taking a few sips of our drinks a different Bar team member came direct to us and said we need to move because they wanted our table for a party. I replied by saying we sat here because there is no reserved sign but we was leaving anyway when we finished our drinks. The woman then said Well I will get my manager over to tell you that you need to move. Next thing this young chap with glasses comes over saying he’s the manager and we need to move now . I explained again that there was no reserved sign on the table and was leaving anyway after we finished our drinks. He started then getting shirty by saying there are signs near the door about seating and he would get Security to remove us as we had been told to move twice (Not the Case!) I did say that we just paid £22.00 for these drinks and we are happy to leave after drinking them. So he then picked up our half full glasses and took them away and returned with £22.00 in cash and slapped it down on the table and told us to leave. I must say that this is the most appalling and rude behaviour we have ever come across by any so called manager and certain other staff of an establishment such as this. I am sure there will be a response from someone saying this was some misunderstanding but I can definitely assure all you readers that the staff we dealt with in here on this occasion should not be working in any kind of customer service role anywhere. We went on to have a meal at Miller & Carter then walked back past Revolution to find the said table was still empty ! No wonder hospitality is struggling. Revolution only seem to be interested in large boozy parties that make them easy money . Lots of more friendly bars to enjoy around this location without being treated like idiots. They need some visits from an undercover boss that would most probably fire such people.

Deeply disappointed. Barmaid had terrible customer service skills. One drink was wrong and another was given in dirty glass... not just a smudge or something. It looked like she'd literally just picked it off thr bar and reused it. When confronted about wrong drink, she insisted that is what we ordered. Safe to say we will not be back and I will advise any of friends who come to Liverpool to avoid this establishment.

Such a good time at bottomless brunch, I found it to be so much faster bringing out drinks than most other bottomless brunch places. Couldn’t fault our servers Katie whatsoever she was brilliant and made the experience so fun.

Booked here for 4 people for a bottomless brunch, didn't realise on the night it was Liverpool of light and we got stuck in traffic which made us late by 20 mins, I had tried to call but no answer. On arrival we were told the table had been given away and I could have my deposit to spend at the bar, it took 20 mins to be served. Will not book again, been here several times before. This was my birthday night and I hadn't seen my daughters for months as I'd been working away, whole night was ruined.

Chicken caeser had half the ingredients, were told not to sit where we would have liked. Did not get offered a menu, it was warm and the toilets were clean. No major positive vibe to it.

Done a couple of bottomless brunches here and always had good service. Nice food and never been without a drink, servers have been lovely too😊

We visited for a hen weekend and did the cocktail masterclass on Saturday 26th October. Kyle hosted us, and he was amazing, he made us all feel so welcome and was full of banter which made it so fun - we all had the best time and would definitely recommend this masterclass. Thanks Kyle :)

We did a cocktail making class for my sister's hen do - big shout out to Kyle our host who was brilliant and made it such a fun time getting stuck in with the challenges and our competitiveness! The drinks/games you get for the money is well worth it in my opinion. Only let down was our nachos coming out with only 20 odd minutes to go - they weren't stingy at all on how many we got but we just couldn't make the most of them with how much time we had! Despite that, we had a great time!

We only went in for coffee and tea but the service at the bar was incredibly slow The barista ???? hadnt got a clue what he was doing. 3 coffees and 2 teas took forever. No spoons so requested spoons, was given one. Not what we expected

Definitely not a great first impression of Liverpool after visiting from California. Stopped in after checking out some shops on the dock and were quite disappointed to say the least. The noodle salad was quite bad as the dressing tasted off, noodles tasted like they were left uncovered in a fridge for a few days as they tasted very stale. Got some red wine as well and it was warm for some reason and never was delivered the soda I ordered from the app. Still confused about the price difference of sitting outside vs inside as the prices reflected on the menu posted on the window did not reflect that of the app, at least the lunch specials. Waited about 35 mins for 2 dishes and were finally brought out after we flagged down a waitress about our order. Definitely won’t return.

Visited 8/9/24 Came here whilst in Liverpool booked a table earlier in the day for the same night arrived was ignored by 3. Members of staff whilst waiting by the door to be seated Once seated served by a lovely lady Nachos to start delicious Followed by the Cajun chicken and chips I had it grilled and it was lovely Also had the chicken wrap partner enjoyed it would return when in the city again

We went to celebrate my 20th birthday and booked the bottomless brunch, the food was absolutely spot on and the cocktails were fantastic.We were lucky enough to be served by Deeksha Pal. Absolutely amazing service on her behalf, she was so polite and helpful which made our experience that much better. The atmosphere was amazing with live dj and old throwbacks as well as new music. Over all a 10/10 experience would recommend for anyone as they also provided mocktails for anyone who doesn’t prefer alcohol. Would definitely go again.

Shocking customer service. Stood at the bar for over 10 minutes making eye contact with the bar man, they saw me, then when they finished serving and a girl walked up they served them instead, I said excuse me ive been waiting for 10mins, and before that lady, to be told I'm serving someone. At that point I just left and will never come here again

Staying in lovely Liverpool and just fancied a light lunch and a drink. We chose a table in the sunshine and were told that food would be a half an hour wait. Our drinks arrived and we enjoyed sitting there in a very pleasant spot, overlooking the dock. After the required time my chicken Caesar salad and my husband’s crispy chicken wraps arrived and unfortunately, they were awful. The Caesar salad comprised a few strips of tough, almost inedible chicken, an enormous pile of lettuce and one or two tiny bacon pieces. The wraps were very similar - dreadful. What a shame. Definitely would not recommend or return myself.

We called in for lunch Saturday 28th September. They said fully booked That was fine sowe moved on We had looked at menu some nice tsy things,so Sunday we tried again We where sat down at a table,given a menu, and that was it 25 muns later waiting staff just walking past the 2 of us. No one asked would we like to order a meal.no offer for a drink After 25min we got up and walked out. The staff just smiled as we walked away I feel the staff and service was disgusting The time was 12:15 when we arrived

Came for a bottomless brunch with a friend and it was brilliant. Our server was Abbie, she was so lovely and made sure we were okay at all times. Great food and at a great price.

Right, so it was me and the wife – we’re out at *Revolution* down the Albert Dock, thinking we’ll take advantage of this Happy Hour, 2-4-1 deal. You know, a couple of drinks, enjoy the view, life’s good. Or so we thought. We’re feeling all modern, so we order through the app. Dead simple, right? Wrong again. We put in for two different drinks, expecting to get another round free because it’s *2-4-1*, not rocket science. But nah, we only get one of each drink, and they've charged us full whack! Turns out, you’ve got to order *two of the same drink* for the deal to kick in. Nowhere on the app or the signs does it tell you this, so we’re just left sitting there, paying full price like a couple of mugs. Then, to top it off, we’re sitting there, watching folk who came in after us – proper amateurs, ordering at the bar like it’s the 90s – getting their drinks before us. We waited a good 15 minutes for ours, probably could’ve gone to the bar, ordered, and finished a drink in that time. Absolute shambles. So yeah, if you’re heading to *Revolution*, maybe stick to the bar if you want a drink before last orders. As for the app, well, that’s a whole other story.

Staff are run off their feet, although lovely are in need of basic training, how to pour a pint would be a start.

Great atmosphere, cocktails were great. Rhys served us and offered up some fantastic suggestions that tasted incredible! Will be back!!!
