Revolution Albert Dock in Liverpool

Great food, drinks and definitely value for money. Bar staff a bit rude, on mobile phones keeping customers waiting. Definitely recommend though.

My friend from Germany was back visiting me in Liverpool. We went to the Albert Dock and decided to stop here for lunch. There was no gas in the pumps, so you could only get bottled drinks. It's a shame there wasn't a poster on the door or someone to tell you this, but no one welcomed or acknowledged us. When the food did arrive, my chips were just about warm, and my friends' mac and cheese and halloumi fries were tasteless, and because of this, it also felt overpriced. I would not recommend going, though their Christmas decorations were good and the best part about our visit.

Proper, thick burger. The slaw was amazing, staff was sweet.

We arrived here 10 minutes early for a paint and sip class. We queued at the bar and watched everyone get served before us, definitely people who arrived after us. The bar staff didn't even look at us. We didn't get served before the class so had no drink. After class we went downstairs and used the app to order food and drinks, only to be told that they weren't serving food. No apology... Just "we will refund you". I asked them to refund the lot and we left. So we didn't have a single drink in the 2.5 hours we were here. Wouldn't go again.

Here for an xmas night out. Food is rubbish, service is a shambles, would not recommend.

Visited Liverpool Revolution on Albert Dock 12/12/24 at 6pm. The establishment was half empty but some tables were reserved and decorated for parties. So we found a table across the back that was clear with no reserve signs. There was also a group of four sitting at the opposite end of the same table as us. We noticed after approximately 10 minutes of being there that a bar team member was chatting to the other 4 about moving tables but we didn’t hear clearly. We thought it maybe something to do with ordering food. I went to the bar and got myself and my wife 2 Aperol Spritz drinks at a cost of £22.00 , I was served by a particularly rude and disinterested bar staff member that never spoke at all . I then headed back to my seat. After taking a few sips of our drinks a different Bar team member came direct to us and said we need to move because they wanted our table for a party. I replied by saying we sat here because there is no reserved sign but we was leaving anyway when we finished our drinks. The woman then said Well I will get my manager over to tell you that you need to move. Next thing this young chap with glasses comes over saying he’s the manager and we need to move now . I explained again that there was no reserved sign on the table and was leaving anyway after we finished our drinks. He started then getting shirty by saying there are signs near the door about seating and he would get Security to remove us as we had been told to move twice (Not the Case!) I did say that we just paid £22.00 for these drinks and we are happy to leave after drinking them. So he then picked up our half full glasses and took them away and returned with £22.00 in cash and slapped it down on the table and told us to leave. I must say that this is the most appalling and rude behaviour we have ever come across by any so called manager and certain other staff of an establishment such as this. I am sure there will be a response from someone saying this was some misunderstanding but I can definitely assure all you readers that the staff we dealt with in here on this occasion should not be working in any kind of customer service role anywhere. We went on to have a meal at Miller & Carter then walked back past Revolution to find the said table was still empty ! No wonder hospitality is struggling. Revolution only seem to be interested in large boozy parties that make them easy money . Lots of more friendly bars to enjoy around this location without being treated like idiots. They need some visits from an undercover boss that would most probably fire such people.

Such an affordable place and perfect for pre drinking. Katie who served us was super helpful and lovely. We will come back soon!

Deeply disappointed. Barmaid had terrible customer service skills. One drink was wrong and another was given in dirty glass... not just a smudge or something. It looked like she'd literally just picked it off thr bar and reused it. When confronted about wrong drink, she insisted that is what we ordered. Safe to say we will not be back and I will advise any of friends who come to Liverpool to avoid this establishment.

Such a good time at bottomless brunch, I found it to be so much faster bringing out drinks than most other bottomless brunch places. Couldn’t fault our servers Katie whatsoever she was brilliant and made the experience so fun.

Booked here for 4 people for a bottomless brunch, didn't realise on the night it was Liverpool of light and we got stuck in traffic which made us late by 20 mins, I had tried to call but no answer. On arrival we were told the table had been given away and I could have my deposit to spend at the bar, it took 20 mins to be served. Will not book again, been here several times before. This was my birthday night and I hadn't seen my daughters for months as I'd been working away, whole night was ruined.

Chicken caeser had half the ingredients, were told not to sit where we would have liked. Did not get offered a menu, it was warm and the toilets were clean. No major positive vibe to it.

Done a couple of bottomless brunches here and always had good service. Nice food and never been without a drink, servers have been lovely too😊

Nice place on the dock side.. good choice of drinks and even better they do gluten free food on request.. was nice to have a gluten free pizza but sadly mine was a bit too crispy around the edges but the rest was nice..

We did a cocktail making class for my sister's hen do - big shout out to Kyle our host who was brilliant and made it such a fun time getting stuck in with the challenges and our competitiveness! The drinks/games you get for the money is well worth it in my opinion. Only let down was our nachos coming out with only 20 odd minutes to go - they weren't stingy at all on how many we got but we just couldn't make the most of them with how much time we had! Despite that, we had a great time!

We visited for a hen weekend and did the cocktail masterclass on Saturday 26th October. Kyle hosted us, and he was amazing, he made us all feel so welcome and was full of banter which made it so fun - we all had the best time and would definitely recommend this masterclass. Thanks Kyle :)

Went for bottomless brunch Saturday just gone. It was busy but we didn't struggle to get our food or our drinks. Great value for money. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again 😀

We only went in for coffee and tea but the service at the bar was incredibly slow The barista ???? hadnt got a clue what he was doing. 3 coffees and 2 teas took forever. No spoons so requested spoons, was given one. Not what we expected

Definitely not a great first impression of Liverpool after visiting from California. Stopped in after checking out some shops on the dock and were quite disappointed to say the least. The noodle salad was quite bad as the dressing tasted off, noodles tasted like they were left uncovered in a fridge for a few days as they tasted very stale. Got some red wine as well and it was warm for some reason and never was delivered the soda I ordered from the app. Still confused about the price difference of sitting outside vs inside as the prices reflected on the menu posted on the window did not reflect that of the app, at least the lunch specials. Waited about 35 mins for 2 dishes and were finally brought out after we flagged down a waitress about our order. Definitely won’t return.

Visited 8/9/24 Came here whilst in Liverpool booked a table earlier in the day for the same night arrived was ignored by 3. Members of staff whilst waiting by the door to be seated Once seated served by a lovely lady Nachos to start delicious Followed by the Cajun chicken and chips I had it grilled and it was lovely Also had the chicken wrap partner enjoyed it would return when in the city again

We went to celebrate my 20th birthday and booked the bottomless brunch, the food was absolutely spot on and the cocktails were fantastic.We were lucky enough to be served by Deeksha Pal. Absolutely amazing service on her behalf, she was so polite and helpful which made our experience that much better. The atmosphere was amazing with live dj and old throwbacks as well as new music. Over all a 10/10 experience would recommend for anyone as they also provided mocktails for anyone who doesn’t prefer alcohol. Would definitely go again.

Shocking customer service. Stood at the bar for over 10 minutes making eye contact with the bar man, they saw me, then when they finished serving and a girl walked up they served them instead, I said excuse me ive been waiting for 10mins, and before that lady, to be told I'm serving someone. At that point I just left and will never come here again

Staying in lovely Liverpool and just fancied a light lunch and a drink. We chose a table in the sunshine and were told that food would be a half an hour wait. Our drinks arrived and we enjoyed sitting there in a very pleasant spot, overlooking the dock. After the required time my chicken Caesar salad and my husband’s crispy chicken wraps arrived and unfortunately, they were awful. The Caesar salad comprised a few strips of tough, almost inedible chicken, an enormous pile of lettuce and one or two tiny bacon pieces. The wraps were very similar - dreadful. What a shame. Definitely would not recommend or return myself.

We called in for lunch Saturday 28th September. They said fully booked That was fine sowe moved on We had looked at menu some nice tsy things,so Sunday we tried again We where sat down at a table,given a menu, and that was it 25 muns later waiting staff just walking past the 2 of us. No one asked would we like to order a meal.no offer for a drink After 25min we got up and walked out. The staff just smiled as we walked away I feel the staff and service was disgusting The time was 12:15 when we arrived

Right, so it was me and the wife – we’re out at *Revolution* down the Albert Dock, thinking we’ll take advantage of this Happy Hour, 2-4-1 deal. You know, a couple of drinks, enjoy the view, life’s good. Or so we thought. We’re feeling all modern, so we order through the app. Dead simple, right? Wrong again. We put in for two different drinks, expecting to get another round free because it’s *2-4-1*, not rocket science. But nah, we only get one of each drink, and they've charged us full whack! Turns out, you’ve got to order *two of the same drink* for the deal to kick in. Nowhere on the app or the signs does it tell you this, so we’re just left sitting there, paying full price like a couple of mugs. Then, to top it off, we’re sitting there, watching folk who came in after us – proper amateurs, ordering at the bar like it’s the 90s – getting their drinks before us. We waited a good 15 minutes for ours, probably could’ve gone to the bar, ordered, and finished a drink in that time. Absolute shambles. So yeah, if you’re heading to *Revolution*, maybe stick to the bar if you want a drink before last orders. As for the app, well, that’s a whole other story.

Staff are run off their feet, although lovely are in need of basic training, how to pour a pint would be a start.

Went in on a Saturday night, atmosphere was dead! Stood on one side of the bar to be told no you have to go to the other side after waiting like 10 minutes and multiple staff walking by. MOH tried to order a drink, 3 different drinks and they didn't have the rum? Not even captain J spiced rum? Is this not a bar? Settled on a glass of prosecco as it was becoming laughable. Came up to £14 for a glass of prosecco and a Malibu and coke, next bar!

Grace was an exceptional waitress and was very efficient, no sooner as she was serving our drinks she was taking the next order. She was very friendly and is a credit to your company 😍😍

3 sides to share for £18 was a great lunch special. Nachos, Halloumi fries and fried chicken was delicious.

The bottomless brunch was great, cocktails were lovely. Most of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. When we were given the bill we requested for the service charge to be removed, our server was lovely and no issues but once she went over to get it changed the other lady came over and asked us directly why we had done that. It was awkward and uncomfortable, I explained we will add our own tip as is our right, it was just unnecessary attitude to ask why like that. Ruined the vibe.

Hard to imagine that a bar that takes the p*ss at £8 for a mediocre pint can't be bothered to take the p*ss with clean toilets. Standing in two inches deep p*ss is unacceptable, no matter the prices. Please sort this out. #toilets #revolution #albertdock

Our bottomless brunch experience couldn’t be any better. The food was amazing and our waitress, Katie, was amazing. She kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and checking when we needed new drinks. Deffo worth the money.

This let's down my city staff with huge egos giving attitude, I have been in customer service for 40 years and still run a successful business, I know what I'm talking about! People waiting 20 minutes to be served a drink? Really? Waitresses giving proper attitude because a table I found was suddenly reserved? App not working? Awful for people visiting the city, I'm embarrassed and ashamed and I am a scouser! I feel badly let down, no need for poor service when your serving cheap canned costo drinks as cocktails.

This place is too slow, the waitrons are so slow and don’t solve anything, the personal in the bar are too slow as well and I heard about some mistakes meanwhile i was waiting, super bad this place, they don’t respect the people in the queue. I was hungry and wait for 15 minutes and no one arrive to take my order, I asked many times for help and only was as an answer “one second I’m with another order” …. I arrived before those people! I hated that place , my first visit and this is my first impression. Thanks for nothing. People, don’t come here. There is not enough personal working and my table was dirty

I came for bottomless brunch for my birthday today and we were seated upstairs which made me slightly nervous that we were going to get the most out of our brunch. However Hannah was absolutely amazing, she was so attentive and helpful! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great afternoon and was such a lovely person, 10/10 recommend. The food wasn't great and the service was even worse. The pizza was actually really good but the rest of the food (chips, tots and chicken kebab) were cold. Not only that, the member of staff we were allocated was quite rude. She kind of just put us anywhere and didn't really give us any kind of greeting or explain how to order. Felt like she really couldn't be arsed. Typical 20 something year old that acts like the world owes them a favour. Just to talk to people with abit of respect would be nice. It took at least 25mins for our drinks to come and we only ordered draft soft drinks. To top the whole experience off, we were told by the member of staff that I've previously mentioned that the table we were on was reserved and therefore had to "hurry up". This is fair enough but when it's taken ages for our food and drinks to come and there was no manners displayed by our waitress to then be asked to hurry up to get off a table that she had placed us on is a joke. Won't be returning and I've never had a bad experience before.

Called in for lunch was very busy. Ordered and was not told would have to wait 45 minutes for meal. After asking one staff member how much longer she brushed me off. Five minutes later I asked another who went to kitchen and came back with my food. Bread did not appear fresh and there was no cheese no crispy onion, chips Luke warm. I tried to let them know I was not happy however nobody interested all to busy.

Went with a group pre booked our table. Waited to be seated. Had to wait a long time to see if anyone would come to take orders for food / drinks eventually went to the bar ourselves for drinks asked about ordering food was told to get a waitress only seemed to be at the most two for the whole restaurant they also had to serve the large outside area. They were working hard but more staff need to be employed to make this a pleasant restaurant to go to enjoy a meal out. When we arrived the bar and other tables where overflowing with used glasses ect and was the bar area was the same when we left.

Went to revolution Albert dock on Monday 15/7/24 and when first went into restaurant was left standing at the “wait to be seated” sign for ten minutes while multiple workers walked by and had conversations. Finally was told to sit where I wanted. Wasn’t told if we were to order off of the app or if someone would take order. After 15 mins finally went up to a server and ordered. Took 20 mins for Coke to come out and 30 for food. Service was terrible however food was decent/nice. Around three groups of people left within 20 minutes of us being there due to the lack of/absence of service. Waiter treated the group of women next to us appallingly. She cleaned there table fifteen minutes after them sitting there and ended up getting one of the women wet. Instead of apologising she told them they should have waited to be seated and shouldn’t have just sat there even though when they were waiting to be seated nobody came to seat them. All staff were terribly rude and unhelpful which is such a pity because the food itself was quite nice

Didn't get to having a meal here, but there was a good selection of beers and wines. Service was quick and efficient. Great view from the tables and nice atmosphere.

Slow service, didn’t cater to my allergens (I was told I had to look it up myself online and they didn’t come back to check) Incredibly slow. Had time to write this review after eating before they came to check that it was ok / check on my allergens that I was having to look up myself.

Food was nice but the app ordering was difficult as there was no signal and the WiFi didn't work. Went to order at the bar and was ignored by the staff, gave up after 10 minutes, one member of staff was polishing glasses and could have taken my order. Once I managed to get a signal, waited over 40 minutes for some cauliflower bites. One member of staff was very kind. Atmosphere was full of drunks and rowdy people with blow up dolls. One woman was grinding on the window. We were told to use the men's toilets as a women had passed out drunk in the ladies and an ambulance was on the way. Not very classy.

Finn looked after our bottomless brunch table and what a lovely lad he is! He works hard and couldn’t do enough for us! The bottomless brunch was worth the money, pizza was delicious, who ever had a burger enjoyed them, cocktails were gorgeous and then after that we went downstairs .. Isaac looked after us downstairs, quick with drinks, cleared a table for us which had broken glass on, he made sure it was clear before we sat down.. thank you so much boys ❤️ (hope I’ve spelt your names right) …. One small problem was though the bouncer, kicked us out after one of us put the middle finger up to him as banter and tbh there was 10 of us, £45 each for bottomless brunch and then we stayed after it spent a fortune in there, kicking us out for something so slight and he knew it was a joke no one was aggressive or causing trouble, we was having a good time and spent a lot of money in there… chose to disagree if you read this but it was banter, his ego clearly too big and using his powers 🤮

We did the lunch deal for £8.95 which was great value for money in such a touristy spot. The atmosphere is fab and the plate sizes are really good considering it's a 'discount' lunch menu. I'd definitely recommend it as a stop.

Arrived here today for lunch, was left waiting at the front desk for 20 mins, place was empty, and staff was standing at the bar chatting away, we decided to leave very poor customer service

After paying £35 a head for a hen which was 12 till 2 we were asked to vacate r table literally 2 mins after 2 which we politely did. We went outside n found seats . However not enough seats for every1. We were asked to stay behind the walk line of passing ppl ( we get that n did so) but not all could be seated. The manager a young lady quite abrupt wth v little patience seemed to target the same young man time and again. He was v polite until she had ignored others not sitting n repeatedly targeted him to do this or do that. Eventually he said what an idiot which she overheard n demanded quite rudely that he leave the premises. He felt a bit victimised n ended up quite upset wth a few tears. A few bystanders said how annoyed they felt watching her target him soooo many times. 1 lady said I'm not behind the line but even tho she's been by my side every time she's targeted him she's not asked me to do the same. This really bothered a few ppl to witness this. Food was poor, very small n not very well cooked. We coukd overlook this n not review only for this ladies really rude behaviour. Left feeling a bit down but we went on to enjoy our evening as we said let's just move on. There were very nice staff in there n the young girl in charge of our food n drinks was amazing! Went above and beyond to find cocktails we'd like. Thank you to her she was lovely. Iv been there b4 n enjoyed it but I and a few others will not be returning x

Went to have some drinks and enjoy the sun and views of the Albert Dock fory partners birthday. However, service was terribly slow, even though you could order at your table, which had it's own problems with having to download the app and jump through hoops to verify. When the drinks did come, my partner's was flat and he had to go in to have it changed, which staff questioned and excused it as having been sat around sometime. I only ordered a rosé and he a tap beer, it shouldn't have happened. But great views and atmosphere however.

Had a great time at bottomless brunch, our server was amazing we didn’t get her name but she was so attentive and is the only reason this review is as high as it is. The food was really slow and was cold by the time it came out, our table was late and the manager with the red hair was unbelievably rude, 2 of our group are ex revs employees and would have never expected it from this company, I’d understand if we were lary but this encounter was as we were waiting to be seated, her attitude was disgraceful. Overall had a good time thanks to our amazing server and bar staff :)

Hi booked a table for food and cocktails ..only to find out the cocktail 'Pina colada' had been removed from the 2-4-1 when the waitress pointed to the R menu!! Absolutely spoiled the whole evening!!! They should have the menu removed not handed to you for ordering cocktails! Not pleased at all and will not be recommending 😕 I'll be going elsewhere 😜

Very very good service from Niomi and Siun. Really made our night (afternoon) deserve stellar praise and a bonus from the big boss. Also shoutout to the bar for smashing cocktails out in under 40 seconds. Couldn’t recommend more
