Central Perk in Liverpool

I don't see the point in coffee places when pubs exist. Go to a pub and have a pint. My girlfriend loves this place however. Great coffee she says, and good cakes.

I expected to at least be able to hear the tele showing the friends episodes but didn't. It was just moving pictures. Not a bad idea/theme but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Girlfriend loved the cheese cake.

No se parecen en nada a la central Perk de amigos lo único que recuerda es el medio pegatinas en la ventana. Hay un "script" en la pared que es claramente una falsa como nombre schwimmers David equivocadamente escanda supuestamente todos sus autógrafos. El chocolate caliente era agradable pero era cubo grande, demasiado grande. No vale la pena gastar tu tiempo va a visitar.

Called in with daughter and Mummy , they had the pancakes and said they were yummy. We all had a coffe which were good, modern decor.

Con un gran nombre y reputación que cabe esperar algo magnífico. He estado en muchas veces con un amigo y socio y cada vez ha sido increíblemente lento. Me tienden a conseguir lo mismo ... Un panecillo. Cada vez que se queman (sigo pensando, esta vez que darán derecho. No lo hacen). Mi café siempre hace frío como si se ha sentado en el lado para las edades lo que explica la media hora se tarda en llegar. Las mesas están nunca habían limpiado y si son, sin duda, no están bien. Les he dado muchas oportunidades porque me gusta el ambiente pero no volveremos. El servicio es lento y no sonríe mucho, la comida es terrible y las bebidas son mucho más caro para lo que te dan. Especialmente teniendo en cuenta que están justo en el medio de mis edificios uni no atienden bien para estudiantes. Gracias pero no, gracias.

I have been to Central Perk a couple of times now and not once have I been impressed.

We decided on the pancakes and the waffles with various toppings,the waffles are to die for 👌 also had the hot chocolates and the rachel and the chandler special coffees not a single complaint about the place....definitely worth a visit.

Dieses Caffe das wir aus der berühmten Serie "Friends" kennen ist sehr gemütlich und bescheiden. Es gibt leider nicht so viele Sitzplätze aber dafür sehr leckere warme Getränke.

If your a coffee and friends lover you will love it here. It's warm and cosy and has lots of televisions that play episodes of friends. We had coffee and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.

It was a fun experience being from America. The ambiance is really cute and pretty authentic to the set of Central Perk on Friends. My husband had a cappuccino and I had a passionfruit/ mango tea. I definitely would not reccomend my tea (had a funny flavor to it), but my husband raved about his cappuccino! Fun experience, just a bit expensive!

Can't praise this place enough - friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, Friends on loop and the best hot chocolate in town! I had the "Monica" - highly recommended. The worst part was that the squishy sofa was so comfy I never wanted to leave.

Nice place for a coffee, cake or maybe a wine or beer. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff & I love the friends theme! Need to try the cake next time though- it looked fabulous!

Me and my boyfriend had a coffee here, I thought the place itself is really rustic and it's fab the friends episodes playing all around the cafe, the staff were friendly and the coffee was good :)

Wow, I had a latte and it was delicious. Was tempted to have another, but didn't want to overdose on caffeine. Love the theme. Friendly staff. Loved it. Deffo a 5 *

Ordered coffee and cake for two people and whilst everything was enjoyable, even though we were sat inside our coffees were in take-out cups (because they had apparently ran out of clean cups) and the cakes were served with plastic forks. We were informed that they had run out of clean cutlery yet when we saw the next food order came out, metal cutlery was given. Good atmosphere and would most likely recommend (especially to Friends fans) but service needs improvement.

It's a great cafe. The ambiance was great. The staff was friendly as well. I'm in love with Chai Vanilla. It's really good taste. The toilet downstairs was clean as well.

My first visit. It will not be my last. The venue is lovely. Full of Friends memorabilia, with tv screens showing clips of the show. My friends all had tea, which was nicely presented with individual pots and China cups. I opted for a hot chocolate with cream and a chocolate flake. It was the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted.Can't wait to return to this fabulous place.

This is the place to go if you enjoy burnt coffee! The drinks are vile and even after getting then changed there was still a horrible burnt taste. Not only in the coffee but in the teas aswell something isn't cleaned if the taste isn't even masked by mint tea! Vile don't waste your money go download and episode of friends and make a cuppa at home less risk of being fed contaminated rubbish!

awful will never return overpriced rubbish, coffee not good herbal teas really really bad. my friend had the coffee and said she has had much better. I'm allergic to caffeine hence the herbal tea i had the mint tea I've never tasted anything quite so nasty ever. I did not think it possible to serve a bad herbal tea well this place can i took it back to be told no one else has complained! like i care what anyone else has said about it mine was bad and at the time this is what matters they swapped it for the lemon and ginger well i had one sip and we just left even that was awful. the mint one tasted bitter and burned as did the lemon and ginger i don't know what was wrong but i could not drink it.

Central Perk has become my new resident coffee shop! With great tasting coffee and cakes, a chilled atmosphere and a never ending Friends marathon, Central Perk is a must when visiting Liverpool; and a great place to relax if your a resident.

Friendly staff! Nice decor and perfect for any friends lover! I loved how you could buy merch, how the screens were showing clips of friends and how the menu had a Joey and Marcel Section! Hot Chocolate didn't taste too chocalatey but all in all a nice atmosphere and I will definitely be going again!

Average coffee, dry pancakes with stingy portions of maple syrup... Basically only good for washing friends on the TV screens.

I was as enthusiastic about going in as other Friends fans have been, but I didn't get the same good feeling once inside. I ordered a hot chocolate, which was ridiculously expensive, and in hindsight I should have just left after being told the price. It was insulting really, and I think they need to come back down to earth if they really think it's okay to charge extortionate prices for simple food and drink. It's a small place, nice, but after being there once I didn't get the appeal and won't be back.

In Liverpool on business, but catching up with friends in the area, as used to live here and we were walking around Bold Street and came across this place! Didn't realise that this was here! Really nice inside, comfy sofas, really wanted to sit on the big orange one but that was occupied! Friendly staff. Had the chai spice tea and chai spice latte which were both very nice. The cakes looked amazing, and we would have definitely gotten some if we were not full from lunch earlier!Will definitely go back before I leave!

my partner and I called in for a couple of buds during and afternoon in Liverpool.freindly staff £7 for 2 bottles. great atmosphere. quirky, and if you love friends and watching friends its a place to see. toilets have a code 1357. that's about all there is to say.

If you're a fan of the TV show then I would highly recommend a visit to this cafe as it's a really nice experience, and you can even watch a few friends episodes on the TV screen on the sofa. The deco in the cafe was faultless, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the cafe wasn't overly crowded when I visited which I expected it may have been. Both my coffee and cake were nice but they were nothing outstanding, and the cafe is priced very similarly to Starbucks, Cafe Nero etc. Would highly recommend a visit though if it is something you want to experience and it's a nice enough cafe to sit in with friends for a chat.

Most amazing place if you like Friends like we do. Staff very nice, cakes delicious as were the pancakes 2 for 1 . Recommend you try . We sat on big sofa for nearly an hour. Watching the big screen. We were not rushed . Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return. We loved it!

For Friends fanatics everywhere! This is the place for you!!!! Constant episodes of friends while enjoying some coffee and cake!! Who could ask for more!!! I visited for the first time today, located in the heart of bold street (very nice street in Liverpool must visit!) this cafe compliments it's surroundings with it's unique quirky style. I enjoyed a panini and a coffee for the reasonable price of £7 so thought I would then treat myself to a red velvet cake! (Even tho I'm on a diet) but it was amazing!!! I got offed whipped cream or ice cream on the side! But I said no (diet will power) the staff are VERY friendly and very chatty. I couldn't name and shame because there not wearing name badges. My only criticism, which is me coming into the cafe with a expectation so it's more of an idea not a criticism... Is that I thought there would of been more of an "American themed" bottled drinks? That's my thought! But seriously check it out! Oh and also if your lucky you can sit on the friends sofa! Which I was!! Thanks guys awesome job!

Popped in for an espresso, but sadly it was very bad - there was far too much of it and the coffee was 'burned'. To be fair I have yet to taste a good espresso in the UK! I also waited 5-10 mins for an espresso which was a bit ridiculous. The barista was nice and said he'd bring it to my table but the point of an espresso is - to be quick! Also had a cookie which wasn't great especially at the price. I'm glad I went in as it was a fun place and plenty of comfortable seating unlike most coffee shops and of course the friends theme was good. Sadly I don't think I will be back, due to the coffee not being good, sorry!

We have visited the other Central Perk in Liverpool a few times, so we thought that we would try this one. Great cafe. Lovely atmosphere and the coffee was great. We love the Friends cafe!

Love the way it's layed out. Love watching friends while eating. Had pankcakes with banana.and ice cream. Loved it really nice. Good service. Smaller than expected but really nice.

Amazing place. If you are a lover of friends!!! Just like it in there. We visited one saturday afternoon and stayed for three episodes of it! (They have friends on loop!!)! Three big screens. Happy to chill there, very homely. :-)

I don't know what I was really expecting from this one, but the coffee shop shuts pretty early. During the limited time I spent in there (after I bought a coffee and some food - to go) whilst basically continually being hinted to get out, despite the fact there were other people in there, I was not impressed. I arrived before 6pm. The shop itself is a very poor imitation, and definitely doesn't have the Central Perk 'vibe'. It's a shop with dark walls, some vaguely funky furniture, and a few pictures of the Friends apartments on the walls... Oh, and a couple of teles showing the show. The food is overpriced, although not awful it doesn't cost that much at source, and Starbucks or Costa is about the same - if not cheaper - for the amount you get. The waitress, as I was leaving, said "you should come again, while we're open." Yeah, right! Going to Liverpool is a day trip, and going to a place like that just isn't worth the time. Won't be returning.

Just stopped by for some tea before meeting friends for lunch. Was so surprised by how great this place was. Lots of couches and comfortable chairs around tables to sit at. A lot of tvs playing friends! And a couch and chairs set up just like the ones from the tv series. The staff were super friendly and so great. Was an amazing place to sit and relax! Would totally recommend to anyone wanting a nice place to sit for coffee or tea! Especially fans of Friends!

coffee shop based on the Friends series. Several large comfy sofas to relax and watch old episodes. Spiced Chai latte was really nice.

My husband and l popped in for a coffee and tea and we're glad we chose here. The staff were lovely and pleasant which makes you want to return.Try the cheesecake yum yum.

It is a shame that a place people go to with the expectation to find their second home (we all felt like we lived with the guys in Friends and had coffees with them) just doesn't deliver that warm environment you expect, I do not know what it is but something was missing, also on a Sunday afternoon only a lady making coffees and serving made the service super slow, the cakes were cold like out of a fridge cold, not even rom temperature, and the use of cream (everywhere on coffees, cake) went a bit too far...so it has the potential but doesn't feel like it is there yet, some room for improvement needed and owed to the legacy of Friends!

Came here as id wanted to visit for ages as i love friends. Brought my 7 yr old along and staff were pleasant enough. We ordered a cappuccino for me and strawberry milkshake for my son. They charge extra for marshmallows and flake which is a bit cheeky considering the price of the drinks in the first place!! Anyway i couldnt fault my cappuccino-it was lovely. The place itself is quite small and couch seats were taken but i would pop in again for a drink when im in town.

i had delicious cheese cake here i would recommend the terrys cholate cheesecake and there latte is lovely will take all my friends here

After a few days of lots of drinking and eating...... There's nothing better than slinking into a central perk sofa with a hot chocolate.Oozing with cream it's an absolute favourite of mine.Staff are lovely.Reasonable prices.Well worth a visitI am currently ranked number 1 by trip advisor for my honest reviews. I can confirm that this was a genuine visit and no incentive was offered to me for a positive review.

They had no food, no drinks (except water, diet coke or hot drinks), bad service and atmosphere. Was much better in the last location. Will not be returning.

Came past central perk on the off chance on my own, decided to have a try of the hot chocolate with a shot of vanilla and it was amazing, the decor is brill it's actually like your on the set of friends, a relaxing atmosphere were you can relax wind down an watch your favourite episodes of friends. staff was nice and friendly defo worth a visit to check it out they also do cakes sandwiches they look really nice.

Met my friend for a coffee at Central Perk Bold Street. It was very cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Big variety of drinks. I need to come back to try the food.

I have been to the one in Chester many times, this was my first time at Bold Street, Liverpool. Fantastic Service, plenty of room in this one as Chester is quite small. Visited with my Sister, I had one of my usual milkshakes excellent as usual. Relaxing after a bit of shopping and Friends on the tv too #Bonus. Looking forward to coming back.

i have been many times to Central perk I mostly go to the quiz based on friends on a Tuesday its a lot of fun and challenging I would recommend to any friends fan as it's the closest you will get to the real thing they even have a replica of the sofa and it runs episodes of friends all day long

Came in on bank holiday and had a great time I ordered one of their speciality drinks 'the Monica' it was so nice and was brought over to us after a couple of minutes The staff were really friendly and helpful and the pancakes were to die for strawberry and maple syrup yum!! My friend had a smoothie which she really loved we would certainly recommend this place to anyone and will be returning in the near future

Called in for a quick coffee on way home from Liverpool city centre. Quick was not the operative word! Took ages to get served in the queue, ages for the coffee to be brought to the table and when it came it was awful! Tasted like 'boardroom' NHS coffee, was too hot and too large. Staff run off their feet and no one to complain to. We left the Un-drunk coffees and our pockets were a lot lighter! Would not recommend this place Bold Street Coffee is better where service is quick and the coffee drinkable. Beware Central Peeerk!

Es un café caro sin mucho que ofrecer de novedoso, salvo la decoración, los pases de capítulos de la serie en la que se basa y el salón inferior con mesas y una pantalla de cine.

As a huge Friends fan obviously I was really excited to visit here & have breakfast. It is scarily similar to the Central Perk you have seen for 10 years on the tv in terms of furniture, even down to the green poles! We was the only customers & stayed for around an hour. There was two staff members & a manager in and out. When served both guys were friendly but not exactly knowledgable about their place of work. I enquired about food and was told they do pancakes & waffles & stuff & we can do you toast if you want toast.. I asked if they had a menu I could look at, No, no menu. WHAT? How can you not have menu? Weird. I ordered pancakes with raspberries (they didn't have any strawberries), my friend declined as she was taken aback with the strange service. We sat down & my microwaves pancakes arrived 5 minutes later with 5 or 6 BLUEBERRIES and a jug of maple syrup. I couldn't be bothered to complain so I just ate it. I used the toilet downstairs which you have to ask at the bar for a code which I wasn't aware of so had to come back upstairs to ask why I couldn't get in the toilet. Overall I was a bit dissapointed as I feel with the right staff & food this could be pretty amazing so I was let down to be honest & I wouldn't return. I hear that Warner Brothers are hoping to franchise off 300 Central Perk coffee shops in the next decade... Maybe they should ensure the 3 they already have in the UK are fit for purpose.
