Bald bouncer extremely rude, turned up on my best friend 22nd birthday holding hands with him as friends do because we are very close and the bouncer criticised the fact we were holding hands and refused us entry due to the fact we were holding hands suggesting we were holding hands because we were drunk despite the fact we had only had 3 drinks prior, very clear it was more homophobic than anything

I must admit I was eagerly looking forward to the reopening of the hard hit hospitality sector with pubs being allowed to reopen on the 12th of April with outside service only and from the 17th of May inside and outside service allowed and by June 21st more or less back to normality, with this in mind my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs and bars our city possesses and walking around the eclectic Ropewalks District of Liverpool we decided to head to Moloko on St Peter's Square and what a wonderful time we had . I've always enjoyed visiting Moloko, the interior is cool ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, lovely decor and furnishings, nice wall art, neon lite features and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on St Peter's Square and in their superb courtyard out back ,as it was outside service only we chose the courtyard out back of the bar to sit,we track and traced our our N.H.S covid app on our phones and we were allocated a table ,a very pleasant member of the staff took our order of a beer each, we chose pints of Carlsberg beer, served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the laid back vibe in this busy and popular bar. My beer was just super, I love Carlsberg lager , one of the most famous beers brewed in Denmark, one of its oldest brewed beers ,brewed since 1847 ,a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very refreshing especially on a hot Spring afternoon as when we visited Moloko, it was just so good being out and about again enjoying a quality brew and socialising again albeit socially distanced. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time . Moloko is easy to locate on St Peter's Square, a lovely little square with some really nice bars on and in the heart of the Ropewalks District, a definite party area of Liverpool. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 2pm till 2am. Friday & Saturday, 1pm till 2am. Sunday, 2pm till Midnight. A wonderful bar,if your in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

i am in love with this bar ! every other bar in concert square are slightly rude and has very slow service (which is fair enough because since lockdown opening every place has been so busy) but moloko has always been lovely every time and so reliable! from the bouncers ( who i couldn't catch the names of) to the waitresses Kate and Phoebe who were so nice and accommodating despite how busy it is. just a nice place overall, it's much quicker service than anywhere else in concert squire. much recommend.

Moloko is a large bar in the city centre and is named after the milk in the 1970s film A Clockwork Orange.A bar with a very quirky open-plan interior with good seating areas a nice bar and bar area and importantly an excellent outside seating area which in the current circumstances is ideal as since we came out of lockdown on the 12th of April the hospitality sector can only serve drinks or food outside. Located on St Peter's Square in a fantastic building called the Old Stables'Moloko is a bar that attracts a younger crowd and as I drink craft and cask ales I wouldn't go here normally but as there is a fantastic outside seating area we decided to go in here for a few beers. We gave our details for the track and trace and we where led to the outside courtyard area where we took our seat and ordered a pints of Carlsberg brewery lagers that was well served and well priced for this area of the city centre.Moloko is a great bar with a superb outside seating area and is worth a visit if you are in this area of the city as the staff are friendly and the outside courtyard is superb and they offer a decent range of drinks. Very easy to find from Central train station turn left and walk down Renelagh street to Hanover street then a left onto Fleet street a five minute walk. (This is my second review of Moloko). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know. Due To The Covid 19 Restrictions Many Of The Bars And Pubs Hours Have Altered So Look At There Websites. Nearest Bus Stop. College Lane. Nearest Train Station. Central train station.

Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs and bars our city is justifiably famous for, lots of venue's closed ,very sad to see but a new year brings new hope, mid February and lockdown still in operation but vaccine rollout going amazingly good ,over 15 million people had the jab ,the UK is the envy of the world and I think when Boris makes his next big announcement on the 22nd of February we will have a clear ( hopefully ) roadmap of how we are going to exit this final lockdown and the hospitality sector should hear some good news for a change,in my opinion the hospitality sector has been villianised by ill advised scientists saying every spike in the R rate is the result of pubs, bars and restaurants and left the retail sector more or less unmolested, the hospitality sector has employed track and trace, hand sanitisers, table service, face covering unless seated and contactless payment, the retail sector on the other hands have done next to nothing, no track and trace, no social distancing, letting people shop not wearing masks or wearing face masks incorrectly ie under the nose or mouth ( chin hammocks ) but they have still mostly been unaffected ,now the government has finally acknowledged the shops are responsible and unless medically exempt the wearing of face covering is compulsory, too little too late in my opinion, with the vaccines places such as Moloko will reopen ,its a bar I love ,great staff ,fantastic range of beers and a wonderful looking bar both inside and outside in their courtyard ,its always been a favourite haunt of my twin brother Stephen and I, always had a great time in this bar ,we can't wait to revisit here again and hopefully as soon as possible, with a bit of luck and common sense Easter should see the reopening of the pubs, bars and restaurants. A great bar ,most definitely well worth checking out when this lockdown comes down.

Me and my friends went there and had to wait two hours for our drinks, we asked 3 members of staff and two of those members never bothered to get us our drinks, completely forgot about us and carried on letting us wait. By the time the 3rd member of staff came to us we stated that we didn’t want our drinks anymore and that we wanted a refund but the lady carried on making us wait and then bought us our drinks regardless when there were only 15 minutes left until we had to leave. We told her we didn’t want the drinks we just wanted a refund so she gave us a number to contact but they never gave us our refund because we eventually received our drinks even though we specifically said we didn’t want our drinks anymore and just the refund. They also tried to make it out as if we were lying. Worst service from both waiting on staff and management staff. Would not recommend this bar whatsoever

But tonight me and my mates had an amazing night. On entrance we all done track and trace. We also told the hostess we would prefer a table in the back smoking area. We got a brilliant table under a heater!! I could not believe how quick the drinks arrived using the welcome to Liverpool app. It was a crazy busy night and our drinks always arrived under 5 minutes. Big shoutout to GEORGIA who was so quick and punctual!!! All staff were also on board with covid regulations and social distancing!!! Thank u all

This was a really odd place. There were loads of staff stood talking by the door which made it seem rather unwelcoming, but it had a beer garden and the weather was nice so we thought we’d give it a try. There were loads of staff standing around talking inside too. We sat in the beer garden for about 10 minutes and no-one came to take our order so we just left. Not sure what the point is of having so many staff but no-one taking drinks orders?

Place is pretty big with indoor and outdoor areas. The crowd was pretty mixed although mostly younger (4of us are late 30s early 40s) but some our ages and older were also here and it was a good atmosphere. We ordered cocktails I had to wait quite a while for mine I think there was a problem with the crushed ice but staff were very apologetic and kept apologising. We sat at a month and music was good. We only had the one drink it’s not the cheapest of place but it was a nice visit.

With the relaxing of some of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions such as pubs and bars being allowed to reopen my twin brother Stephen and I headed to town to enjoy some of our city's great pubs and bars, we passed through St Peter's Square and decided to drop into Moloko for a quick glass of beer. Greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name, phone number or email address to assist with the governments track and trace system and sanitised our hands, we got a table were we ordered a glass of Carling beer each ,we payed contactless and just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. The beer was really good, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting taste, when served iced cold as in this bar its such a refreshing beer,my only negative was that it was served in plastic glasses ,no matter ,not complaining, pubs and bars are open after over three months of lockdown, all's well with the world ,a bit of normality in an abnormal world at the moment because of rhis pandemic visited upon us. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.

We ordered buttermilk chicken burgers expecting chicken burgers. 3 of the burgers had one very thin chicken strip and the other a small chicken nugget shaped piece of chicken. For a chicken burger we were not happy - it was all bread and an onion ring! If you want a chicken burger with chicken, best avoiding here. We also ordered 'hash browns' so the menu said. We received a bowl of bland tasteless bits of potato. The reason we visit was for the amazing pudding menu - we were later told we couldn't order from this menu and we should go to albion cakes if we wanted one (think that's what she said the name of the place was). The staff weren't very interested just dancing at the bar together and in and out smoking.... Cocktails where very good, just a shame the food was terrible. The milkshakes are really good, usually the food is too. However, I would say customer service is hit and miss depending on who is serving you - Aimey (waitress with black and white hair) was really nice and polite, attentive and whenever we needed anything extra was there straight away. Yet on another occasion we have been served by another waitress (didn't get her name but sounded posh/Southern?) who was quite stand offish and almost patronising with some of the comments she made when we were ordering, so wouldn't rate her customer service as that great as it came across as rude. I felt like everything else other than this was very good though.
