Called in for tea before going back to our hotel great food and atmosphere we ended up staying for more cocktails

Shocked at how awful the cocktails and food were. We ordered 4 different cocktails and 3 out of 4 were vile and undrinkable. The place was quite busy as it was a Saturday afternoon, however my daughters capri sun still hadn’t made an appearance 30 minutes after ordering, we then asked the approximate time scale for food and the waitress left to check and never returned. 1 hour past and we then received my daughters kids chicken breast meal, (still no drink for her) for £13 it was a let down. Huge stack of green beans and thin chicken breast sliced up with 7 or 8 chips which were cold. I thought they may have made an attempt to give it out cool so the baby could eat it, but as we were about to cancel our order 10minutes later the food arrived. COLD! After all that time, it was a microwaved bundle of Beef brisket and chicken breast that came out on a stone cold brioche bun. We returned the meals and the waitress rudely exclaimed with a shrivelled up face that they don't microwave food there. As we prepared to leave a couple minutes past and a waiter arrived back at the table with food, we informed him it wasn’t ours, we had returned ours a couple of minutes ago. He said, “ these are freshly prepared for you”. So apparently they took 1 hours to bring the burgers and then were able to whip 2 fresh ones up in 2-3 minutes. We said no thank you and we had to leave, he asked if he could box them and we can take them at least. To no surprise opening the box in the car, it was our reheated food! We knew this because we had bitten and split the chicken breast inside one of the burgers. Such a let down for a special night and would not recommend.

Just had my reservations for April cancelled due to sudden closure today To say I’m gutted is an understatement- however I’m truly shocked and dismayed for all the staff who worked so hard to ensure their customers had the best Hard Rock experience I hope they all get new employment quickly and get any entitlements due to them I am surprised at the hard rock brand and am at a loss to understand why this happened so abruptly Anyone shed any light ? The food was great and the service from Stitch and Ryan (hope I got those right, apologies if not!) was brilliant, especially considering we were a party of 26! We even got help setting up the cake with some stubborn candles and fondant. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks also to sales manager Lauren for helping with the booking process and menu selections. We'll be back soon!

Decided to try for drinks on a Tuesday afternoon to take advantage of happy hour. Was really unimpressed with the interior, really dreary! Staff were a but miserable, music was terrible. To top it off the cocktails were not great! Wouldn't return or recommend

Had lunch here for my birthday today, food was absolutely delicious and our waitress (Emily) was very friendly and helpful. Love this place 💕

The place was great and service was average. Although a couple of their staff were not friendly. We ordered the beef burger—worst burger ever. The patty was burnt and overcooked. It was so dry and hard to swallow. The hot chips were not hot. The whole dish was cold and hard rock (no pun intended). Maybe we came at a wrong day and time. Wished we ordered a different dish. Overall experience was not great unfortunately.

Great food, good scenery and kind staff. Even gave us a mini tour at the start. Will come here again if get the chance (I live in Northern ireland)

Visiting from Northern Irelannd the food was delicious and service was excellent very friendly staff

Great experience, only downside was the burgers we ordered were the only ones on the 2 for 1 offer....would have been nice to be advised before we ordered! Server was lovely, chatty and made the whole experience. Food was good, nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back. Gig tickets score you 15% off your bill. Book online in advance, as its often hard to get seated if you just turn up. Free to book, no deposit.

Great spot! Lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to get in on time having booked at the last minute. Great food would highly recommend. Lucia and joss were very accommodating and made excellent cocktails. Would definitely recommend!!

Conner is a legend but you seriously need to play hard Rock and no pop pish

The food is nice, but expensive for what you get. Not many good deals/offers available. Staff are friendly. The surroundings are cool- the same as most hard rock cafes around the world, which is maybe why it lacks atmosphere, a typical chain restaurant. Cocktails are good but expensive.

Great place as usual staff really friendly and even changed the music for our concert later that night, food was spot on as were cocktails. Thanks all

Very expensive for drinks didn't get food

Have visited a few different locations but have to say on this occasion, the service was top notch . The guy behind the bar was chatty and friendly and even played a few song requests to keep us in for another drink or two . Job well done 👍

The decoration is so great, I tried the brownies with ice cream the portion was very big and so delicious.

Really fun that they had a special burger with haggis on it, that was unique to that destination! We’ve been to hard rock locations all over the world and this was by far the coolest one!!! The building used to be a theater! So they have the original setup/layout!

Had a lovely experience at the HRC Glasgow! We had the Veganuary menu which had amazing options! The tacos and Bruschetta were our faves. Would love to see the Veganuary options to be added permanently or at the very least a few of them added to the main menu. Big shout out to John (Dad) who was our server for the evening. He was lovely and very attentive! He made the experience more enjoyable!

We were at Foreigners Journey last night which was amazing, but I would like to say a BIG Thank You to Dee who reserved a seat for me. I am having difficulty walking with an ankle issue and much to my despair having to use a walking stick. Dee went above and beyond to make this as easy as possible for me even escorting me to the lift. You are a star Dee and a credit to The Hard Rock Cafe, I really appreciated your help. 👏👏 👏

Visited this location twice. The first visit was amazing. Becca was an amazing server. She was super attentive and the food was great. The second visit was not as good as the first. Our server was not very attentive and disappeared quite a bit. Overall we enjoyed our entire dining experiences overall. We will definitely return when we're visiting again.

Personally I don't like the American style greetings and welcome etc.. the staff with the pin badges / flair whatever.. The food is ok but kinda feels industrial, microwaved, assembled, fast food.. It's spacious and nice for an afternoon snack but fine dining it just is not .. Friendly, efficient, fast, expensive junk food..

Greeted on arrival by a sour-faced, sighing woman who when asked by the waiter where to seat us miserably replied "Go and look". The food was awful. Strange list of unavailable dishes that gave me the impression that it's bought in and microwaved. One server was good. Another was terrible - brought us a 'blue cheese salad' with no cheese. Rushed away when this was pointed out to him, which wasted everyone's time because we just had to call him back and get him to address the issue. Changed it for bruschetta, although he warned us that it could take a while - strange because the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Took ages to arrive and again suggested to me that the food was being pulled out of the depths of a freezer and reheated. Overall very poor quality and bad service.

Beer was off... Lemonade was watery... Chips were great but Burgers weren't good, especially kids burger (different meat apparently).. Waiter, Red, was good.

Food was ok but not as described, trio combo had the smallest bit of pulled pork that was drowning in crispy onions which were ok but nowhere on the menu and would sooner have not had these or at least on the side not mixed through. Rest of food was decent. Service was ok, not shown lunch/set menus, only noticed once we had ordered.

This one didn't disappoint. the food was very good, but the vegetarian bun was amazing 😋

An Amazing night all round food was top Quality every dish was superb menu was full of choice for every palate The food was quick without feeling rushed. The main thing that made my evening was the staff they went over and beyond for us to enjoy our evening 100% Glasgow Hospitality 10/10 from me would highly recommend to anyone.

My wife and I visited for a meal and a gig last night with my nephew and his wife who were visiting from America for Xmas. The whole place was very cold, especially upstairs in the performance space, where we kept our winter jackets on the whole time, something we've never had to do at any other indoor event (there was no cloakroom facility anyway which was very poor). The only place that was almost bearable was close to the stage, ie at the furthest point from the stair and in amongst the audience. Part way through we sat over in the casual seating area near the stair for a break but it was absolutely freezing there, no doubt due to the fact that there was only a light partially opened curtain instead of closed doors to the staircase (which may also have contravened fire safety regulations). We ended up leaving early, mainly due to the cold but also as the tribute band were playing mainly obscure tracks no doubt saving the better tracks for later to keep everyone there buying drinks. As we left we saw that the entrance doors were wide open (hence the heat loss /cold draught issue) but the doorman was toasting himself under the overhead heater (pity the paying customers were not so well looked,after). We felt very dissapointed after paying for tickets and a meal especially as it was meant to be a special treat for our visiting relatives. What on earth the management were thinking about in creating those conditions I can't imagine. Extremely disappointing and we won't be back.

First time to Hard Rock ever. Loved it and the food was spot on.

We have visited Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando Florida, Edinburgh and finally Glasgow. The Glasgow branch is one of the worst restaurants we’ve been in twice!! Our first visit was for my 30th birthday, long story short, we were served food without cutlery, asked for sauces and no one came back, asked again and no one came back. It was not overly busy the night we visited and found it extremely hard to get the attention of all the staff that were chatting at the bar. It was freezing in the venue and there was absolutely no atmosphere (it was a week day). My husband had explained we were there for a special occasion when he booked the table and there was no acknowledgement from the staff which my husband was told on the phone there would be. So I emailed the Manager and explained our experience and he was kind enough to send a £50 voucher! We rebooked for our wedding anniversary. I wish we hadn’t! We booked through email with the manger who issued the voucher, when we arrived they had us booked for a table of 8, so we walked round in circles and staff didn’t have a clue and seated us at the bar. Then when we was correctly seated at a table for 2 our server was extremely rude, jokingly called us monsters for not using a coaster which we laughed but the waiter didn’t, then when my husband asked for his steak medium to well done, the waiter said “well which is it!” with an attitude. There again was no atmosphere and it was freezing!!! The doors opening cause a serious draft! It was a Friday night on this occasion. When we paid for our bill, our server looked like he was annoyed that we had a voucher and said he had to go and confirm with a manager, I said “if it helps it was issued by Nikki’ and our server said “ehh no it’s not that, you could be using this voucher over and over again” and walked away. It was just extremely rude. The manger come and all was well and we paid the remaining balance. All in all we wouldn’t return here even if it was free and being given away. The worst customer service in a restaurant in Scotland.

I have to say I've been in over 40 hard rock cafe around the world they have been fantastic until today, that I've just had the worst experience, I ordered nachos and they came out cold and very little cheese sauce and I sent it back to just get the same back. Not great and sent back again.

Was expecting better. Food was average in taste but really disappointing in value. Chicken fajitas with 8 strips of chicken.. not even a full breast. Portion of fries for £5 had 27 skinny fries (yes, so few that we counted them). Service took over 40min which is unacceptable with hungry kids, just horrible experience. Went home and had to make snacks for everyone after spending a fortune on what should have been a treat. Not worth it!

Eddie is without a doubt the best waiter I have ever came across. He looked after us so well despite the restaurant and bar being unbelievably busy. Such a friendly, polite, down to earth guy who worked so hard and was still constantly smiling and having the craic. I really hope management recognise how much of an asset he is to the company.

Always and everywhere...this place rocks...next stops Phuket and Bangkok...keep on rocking

My 17 year old daughter was here tonight with a friend before going to the o2 for a gig . My daughter the fussy eater and her friend has allergies, she has talked more about the hardrock cafe than she did about the gig. Their server was amazing funny and chatty asking how there night was what there up to etc. The meals coming out separate because of allergies with the staff wearing gloves , even the staff guessing my daughter would want ketchup since she didn't want any of the salad on her burger . Would just like to thank all staff who helped these young girls have an amazing night , we will be coming as a family before Christmas , many thanks keep up the good work , the mother of the PLAIN cheese burger kid 🤣

We were down in Glasgow for the day starting our Christmas shopping and fancied having dinner before getting the train back home. We tried booking online but they only had really late bookings due to it being a Saturday, luckily one appeared later on in the afternoon for 7pm so highly recommend booking ahead of time. Hard Rock Glasgow is located in the heart of the city on Buchanan Street, it's a rock themed restaurant with musical memorabilia dotted throughout. It had been a while since my last visit but the restaurant hasn't changed at all, still really clean, tidy and tunefully modern. Our waitress Kelly was superb, so friendly, bubbly and definitely the life and soul of the place. They have a great menu full of all your favourites but the pricing is quite high end but it is worth it for the experience and the quality of food. We had the Nachos to start which left us speechless, honestly the best we have had in a while, instead of the usual burgers/ribs we went rogue and tried some chicken/macaroni dishes which were served in no time at all, roasting hot and tasting delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Glasgow or want to celebrate a special occasion. Hard Rock is definitely the place, you can even increase your bill on the way out and visit the merchandise shop... who needs desert anyway!

Lovely atmosphere and staff, the food was lovely too. There are some gluten free options but if you're wanting a vegetarian option that's also gluten free you've looking at a salad. Absolutely no vegetarian/vegan option that's also gluten free.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Glasgow. As a big Hard Rock fan I was apprehensive about going due to reviews. However the service and food was great granted it was quite a cool room. Food from kitchen to table can probably go cool quick as large room. I did try to buy some merchandise however their tills were down. So stopped for a bite before going to a gig. Met Kieran and some other bar staff very friendly and gave me a pin as I am a huge collector of the Hard Rock pins/magnets and key rings( try to get a key ring at every hard rock) as the tills were down Kieran gave me one of his pins. Was nice to chat I would recommend any Hard Rocker to visit. I'll be back in February.

Food is amazing. Everything tastes great. We had a fantastic server who looked after us the whole time and made the experience more enjoyable You get free glasses if you order large cocktails, check the menu to see which ones apply. Doesn't matter how many you large drinks you order you only get a free glass with the first round. They're classed as top ups after that

Great experience at the Hard Rock cafe :-) the food was lovely, cocktails were great and our server was very attentive and checked for any allergies with us before serving. When she found out we were going to a gig she asked to see our tickets and gave us a 15% discount on our bill. It's our first stop everytime we come to Glasgow :-)

Love Hard Rock Cafe, had the Tupilo chicken this time , food nice and hot and a big portion, not had a bad meal yet, good music with music videos on TV,s and always a good display of music memorabilia.

This HR is like right next to the main Glasgow Train station. Super easy to spot and is bigger than Edinburg. It has a HR logo so selfies and a stage. The bartender was very courteous and the shrimps were piping hot. I'm glad I did this trip to Glasgow and spend time there. They don't have a house lager though, you have to select from the branded taps only.

Wredd gave an amazing service tonight for mums birthday dinner. Atmosphere was great food was top of the line two glasgow burgers, mac n cheese, nachos, fajitas, onion rings and a ton of drinks which were all great Service was amazing will be returning and recommending

Happy hour lasts for days 😍 And the food was great, tasted as good as it looked; Sam the server was lovely, she had a great personality and the atmosphere was as you'd expect for a Hard Rock. It was a little quiet, but we were in for an early dinner

Excellent place! Super kind service from the staff. Fresh and tasty food served quickly. Unbeatable ambient with cool rock and roll music. Decorated with gear and clothes from music gods likes John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Angus Young and Elvis Presley! The Messi hamburguers are incredible, so do the hot dogs!

I was there to see Dirty Harry a blondie tribute band and I have recommended your venue to an excellent Australian group called little quirks I'm hoping that they will come back to Glasgow 2024 they have played stadiums and large venues in Australia, Canada and Europe with great success however they played in the garage Glasgow which wasn't atoll suitable though they still put on an Awesome show

Nice Nachos but £4.95 for the tiniest Guacamole was a bit of a joke.

Really nice birthday lunch from my son's 8th birthday. Food and atmosphere was great. Most staff were dressed up for Halloween and a big shout out to Tam and Sam who went above and beyond even pulling him out to stand on a seat and sing Happy Birthday to him. He wants to go back tomorrow.

One of the best Hard Rocks we've been to, really great restaurant and our watron (Jill) was awesome We'll be back!
