Too noisy, too long wait, too calloric.

Good service which was sadly let down by the food no flavour luke warm at best would of been better and cheaper going to Iceland and buying the tgi Friday range and cooking it myself won't be back any time soon

Chris was fantastic and very accommodating, as a hearing impaired person and on the autism spectrum he was very understanding and looked after me and my friend Laura tremendously! Will definitely be back! Well done Chris for representing the ADHD community amazingly! ❤️

Today went with my granny for a wee lunch and this did not disappoint food we had some amazing cocktails to was amazing but the service was a 10/10 Chris was outstanding with us will definitely be back

Overpriced cold, very small portion sizes for the price food was tasteless. The only we enjoyed was the beer and that's because it was out a bottle you can't go wrong, wouldn't recommend won't go back ! One member of staff was lovely though not the guys fault

An absolute horror of an experience. Took over 20 mins for the staff to notice that they haven't taken our order. We ordered 2 pasta dishes, and the pasta in both dishes was burnt. Spoiled the entire dinner mood and I had to go back to my hotel and eat something else to cleanse my palate. Staff presentation and desire to serve smacked of carelessness. Seemed to us that the manager doesn't exist or exists only on paper. If it wasn't for this location, this place would've shut down long back. Will never recommend anyone to go here.

went out with a large group for a birthday. Majority of table ordered starters that were expensive and you only got a few small portion taste was average. main meal franks chicken burger and chips - chips are frozen rubbish burger basic chicken burger with sauce. should be priced in region of £7-9 but cost nearly £20. at table 2 persons ordered steak to be cooked medium rare. it was closer to be cremated was sent back and came back again overcooked. This is because the steak is more like a minute steak rather than anything decent and cost over £30. absolutely scandalous. table said cocktails we watery. the raspberry ripple i tried was absolutely delicious. overall overpriced and underwhelming food. frozen factory bought rubbish.

I have never felt the need to enter TGIF, however, i was very pleasantly surprised, everything was grudgingly fabulous. Would recommend for families

First time in here and I can be fussy about my steaks but was cooked perfectly the flavours together were amazing and the service is top notch if could give my server 10 stars would his energy is amazing am great with customers I'd happily return especially to be served by Mark he shows cares about customers and that they have good time

Sesame chicken was way too sweet, like it was made in melted sugar. Not eatable. Way too expensive for lunch. We had two menu offers and ended up paying over £80 with automatically added 10% tip.

Ended up popping in for meal didn't plan or reserve but was thankfully able to get table right away. Was very busy so service understandably little slow but they acknowledged and apologised which to me made it fine. Me and partner were getting steaks and I know its hated since I worked hospitality 19 years but I do order well done 😱 I know. But ended up having lovely talk with waiter and explained that I only order that way to make sure its cooked and not all pink, everywhere is different and chefs have there own views on what is rare etc. He actually got me a steak that was medium well and my absolute ideal, he even waited to make sure I was ok with the order. Amazing, mouth watering and divine. I'm sorry didn't get his name he went above and beyond, would definitely return. My partner says cocktails are amazing too she had the june bug.

The place has amazing food, and great service. The food is rich in flavour, and the menu has a wide variety, including vegetarian options. The place is styled well, and staff are friendly. It is a little bit pricey but not too bad. A great place to go with friends!

Friendly staff, however food warm not hot, waited a while on it to come, starter came with main course. Disappointing especially for the price. Milkshake where good though

First time trying tgi fridays in this country tried in other countries was great but this experience wasnt so go great. Weeks ago i was there got seated fast ordered fast but the place was freezing took 30mins for food to arrive and was look warm the meat platter was cold and dry over priced food best thing was the milk shake sat full time with jackets on.

Went for brunch which was reasonably priced (£30 with 4 drinks) but the price for extras (mozzarella dippers) is a bit steep £9.50. Our server Aaron was top class. Above and beyond for us.

Lovely place to eat but very pricey

The only redeeming quality was the bartender. Our server got our orders wrong, didn't clear the starters off our table until our mains arrived an hour later, cold. Once we got our meals, we saw the state of them and asked for a manager who refunded just our mains before we walked out.

Went here yesterday, food was fantastic, Steven served us and he was very attentive. Lovely atmosphere.

Place was busy and atmosphere was great. Got the Double stack burger. For me it was pricey, but worth it. Would deffo go there again for lunch. Was served by a guy called "Maza", he was full of energy and very enthusiastic, he didn't rest for a moment. Just had to give the guy a decent tip for service.

Popped into TGI's after a busy day shopping for a couple of cocktails. We were delighted to see that they are still doing midweek cocktails for £5. The drinks were spot-on and good value for money. The bar staff are great and always up for a bit of banter. Keep up the good work.

Went in on a quiet Sunday for lunch. Wasn't majorly impressed by the Messy cheeseburger. Spent a while waiting for the food but at least we weren't in a big hurry.

Food is expensive, but portions are quite small, especially if you buy ribs and they bring together coleslaw and there's like 20 grams of it

now i understand why a lot of customers give bad comments of service It really is very rude...when i want to respect the order but no waiters comes to attend,maybe no welcome from asian people.i won't come again because the waiters say asian customer very rude to call him come for order food.

Myself and my friend went to have dinner on 23.02.24 and ordered some corn dogs, chicken fingers and half-rack of ribs, including drinks. The starter came after we finished our mains. Moreover, the waiter never asked us how the food was and forgot to take our payment for 10 minutes. Very disappointing experience, overpriced food. We will not be back.

Prices are outrageous now for the quality served, over £20 now for chicken strips. Starters nearly £10. We waited 15mins beyond booked time to be seated, took 10-15 longer for several to return and take order, drinks took 20mins after ordering to arrive. Food portions were small for prices charged. Cold draught hitting us everytime the front door was opened. Took an age to get the bill. Won’t be back, so much better value and taste to be had elsewhere in Glasgow

Dario made the experience even better, with his product knowledge and friendly approach.

Visited TGI Fridays Buchanan Street on 14th February. afternoon time around 1.30PM. once seated. it took a while for the waiter ( Ewan F ) to approach me and ask if I wanted to order a drink. I ordered Fridays sesame chicken strips. with sesame seeds but without the chilli flakes. I was told by Ewan this was impossible as the sesame seeds and chilli flakes are already mixed together. this information took me by surprise as this is the only meal I order at Fridays. it’s never been a problem previously at other locations and wasn’t a problem at my visit to TGI Fridays Liverpool One on 18/02 which will be my next review. as usual I asked for the fries to be replaced with onion rings. the menu states served with a choice of side. the menu doesn’t state additional charges may apply depending on choice of side. Ewan did not mention the upgrade charge for the onion rings. bear in mind this meal has now increased to £20.60. and choice of side that’s not fries will set you back £2.90. the meal was brought by a different member of staff. the meal came with fries and onion rings. I was confused and didn’t want to touch the onion rings without finding out if the fries had be replaced. because if Ewan had misunderstood me - the onion rings would cost £6.20. I asked for a manager as I was unable to see Ewan. the manager appeared and explained I would be charged for upgrading the fries to onion rings. when placing the order Ewan did not mention the upgrade charge. the manager was unable to remove the charge. while the manager was discussing the T&CS with me the meal went cold and needed to be remade. Ewan did not ask me once if everything was fine with the food or if I wanted another glass of tap water. the found the chicken strips to be slightly overcooked. I used £5.00 off for February with TGI rewards which reduced the bill to £18.50. still expensive for the hassle and lack of customer service. my visit to TGI Fridays Buchanan Street was like a Carry on film. Outrageous prices for what is less than mediocre food, but to charge £4.30 for a 330ml of Irn Bru is robbery. We won't be back.

Updated 18/02/24 Wow! Prices have increased dramatically since the last time I was in here. Their pricing is now in line with higher class establishments but their food is the same as it has always been and unfortunately as has always been he case, the service is hit and miss... The usual TGI Friday set up, but with a restricted set menu offering with it being a city centre location. Service is usually good, but sometimes you can get a server with too many tables on the go which diminishes your level of service. Do as the Americans do and tip accordingly.

God where to begin. The manager that was running the place on the 12th of February was USELESS. His staff were completely slaughtered, and he was too busy chatting up women qt the bar. The night was saved by a waiter who was only 2 weeks into his training and he was running round doing everything. Lovely guy made the night better than It would have been. Get the manager told!!! Also food was divine couldn't stop drooling🤤🤤🤤🤤

Me and my pregnant partner went in for a few small plates late afternoon today (3:30ish, 13/02/24). Food was delicious, and our server Josh was top dollar, incredibly attentive and super cheerful which made our experience all the better. 0 complaints in that department, or the food. The only issue, which was a big one, was the hosts of front desk staff. From the second we arrived it was evident they were not impressed that we seemed to have interrupted their conversation. We asked for a table for 2 which we were told “it’ll be a wee minute” and then as we were about to sit and wait, the woman turned to her colleague who rolled her eyes and scoffed, then said “right follow me” and proceeded to dump us at the nearest table with a draft. Throughout the meal the woman seating people did not look happy to be there at all, and seemed bothered that they were required to even do what they were doing. All in the whole experience was fantastic if you were to remove that aspect.

Early Friday night was quiet but it was getting busy when I left. Friendly staff.

Ordered fajitas. Had no idea they would be smothered in sour cream which I detest. Told two servers and neither offered to change. Instead I was forced to scrape cream of dreadfully over cooked chicken and eat with cold fajitas, salsa and stale cheese until I asked for fresh cheese to try to hide the awful sour cream residue. Very disappointing visit 😕

Went in 4 Feb. Service poor. Appetizer plates not cleared before main arrived. Drinks arrived after the appetizers even though everything was ordered at the same time. Main chicken fingers, chips were cold. Not once were we asked how our food was. All the tables next to us was also complaining. Very overpriced for what it is, won't be coming back .

If you have allergies be wary. Both me and my friend are coeliac (cannot eat gluten). Manager was clear with what can be eaten however our order was taken wrong and we received the wrong food. After this was sent back and we got the correct dishes (which took an hour…), we had our meal which was okay. Sadly, we have both had contamination issues since. Would not recommend for people with dietary restrictions/allergies.

I had chicken fingers since I wasn't feeling too exploratory and just wanted something basic, to my surprise they managed to make chicken fingers taste mediocre, which I thought was hard at a reputable restaurant but I was proven wrong, desert was very disappointing to say the least, had the most cold hard brownie id ever had, was definitely straight out the freezer cause it tasted like it, overall poor experience and won't be going back for a good while. This cost around £30 which was another minus.

It was amazing the food the staff happy and helpful I really had a great night out with my sister plus I was drinking the Cheery tangtastic big glasses I was happy 😁😁😁

I travel to Scotland a couple times a year to see my fiancé, and it’s always a MUST to go to TGIs, he loves American food. Our regular server Dario is AMAZING, he should be running the place, he puts his whole personality into serving and is so genuine and we always ask for him when we come here! He goes ABOVE and BEYOND for his customers! Unfortunately the fact the prices of a chained international restaurant like TGI to up their prices 5 times to it not even being a “laid back chill restaurant” that it’s supposed to be is a be put off. The prices need to be reduced and reasonable for the portions. Other than that we LOVE LOVE LOVE Dario and give him 100/10. Just unfortunate the prices have gone through the roof.

Went at weekend for a birthday meal. Stood at desk for a good few minutes before we were even acknowledged - a simple smile and 'I'll be with you in a minute' would have been nice. Taken to our table and which hadn't been cleaned properly and our server activated acknowledged it was 'manky'. Took a while to decide on our order for 4 of us as we shared 1 drinks menu and 2 food menus between us but reckon we eventually ordered about 4.20/4.25 (we got to our table at 4.05). Drinks came relatively quickly but food didn't arrive until 5.05 (bearing in mind we only had a 90 min slot and table was due back at 5.30). Food was cold - it had clearly been sitting for a while - and husbands order had stuff missing. Told our server we weren't happy and he offered to get manager. In all honesty between server and manager they couldn't have been nicer and it was all dealt with very well so can't complain about that. Overall it was just quite disappointing - seems they were having 'kitchen issues' and a few people had walked out/complained. It was also never acknowledged at any point that it was a birthday dinner even though my husband put it on the booking. Also the toilets were really unclean - my husband said in gents the mirror was smeared with something and floor was wet/ covered in toilet roll. Ladies toilet wasn't much better. I don't think we'll be rushing back. Shout out though to Kevin our server - he was great.

It had been around 20 years since I was last in TGI Fridays in Glasgow. It will be a lot more before I ever go back after yesterday's experience. We booked a table for 5:30 and glad we did as it was busy. Got to our table and a few minutes later we ordered drinks but had not decided on food. Shortly after our drinks arrived. I had ordered a drink with no ice which arrived full of ice so asked for the drink I had ordered. We placed food order and it took its time arriving whi h we had expected as it was busy. My wife and sons food were fine but my burger with fries was stone cold, I mean it wasn't even warm, it was stone cold. Called the server over and was assured another one would be sent out as a priority. Thankfully they had left my fries which at least were warm enough for eating. Eventually I presume it was the manager arrived at our table (by which time wife and son had eaten their meal and contemplating dessert) to tell me the burger would be with me soon but no real eta on how long soon would be. After another wait it eventually arrived at our table and the server quickly disappeared after a quick apology for the wait. Before biting into the burger I touched it to check it was hot (or at least warm enough to eat). They perhaps cooked it as a priority but it must have sitting in a fridge because the whole damn thing was cold. How hard is it to cook a burger and serve it hot? The answer is not hard at all. Whe the server came with our bill we were told that they have taken the cost of the burger off the bill. Did the expect me to pay for two stone cold Burges that I didn't eat if they hadn't taken it off. When you are expected to pay over £26.00 for a burger with upgraded fries. You should at least expect it to be hot whe it arrives at your table or was a hot burger an upgrade option which I missed in the menu? Oh and they could also do with giving the place a good clean as well, the amount of cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling was terrible, almost looks like it hadn't been cleaned since the last time I was there. Will not be back there ever.

Visited today with husband and 2 kids, we had a 20 minute wait for our table then it just got worse. Our order was taken pretty quickly but then had to wait over 30 minutes for our food (we only ordered a main each). Food finally arrived, most of it was really cold and things missing from kids meals. We had decided that we would just get the bill and leave instead of ordering desserts, waited another 30 minutes to get the bill and pay. Whole visit was almost 2 hours just to have a below average main course. I understand that Saturdays are going to be busy but was really disappointed on this occasion.

It's been at least 3 years since I visited this branch, it was so quiet and there was no atmosphere, like there used to be. When I looked at the menu I realised why it was quiet on a Friday, the prices are outrageous to say the least. £20 for a main, £6 for a side and £4+ for a soft drink. The food arrived but it was mildly warm/cold and the salad looked by its best. The jack Daniels sauce didn't taste the same as I remember either. I doubt we will be back in a hurry!

Food was certainly not cooked fresh. Food had been reheated and was of very poor quality. Upstairs dining area was grubby,untidy and cold, should have walked out when we seen the area but had just got soaked and decided to stay put. Big mistake, Would never go back.

Booked a table weeks in advance. Sat us in cramped seats in an empty restaurant. Menu was poor extremely dissapointed.when you consider I am 65 with mobility issues seating us on high chairs was crazey

Thursday before Christmas, no atmosphere at all, hardly any Christmas tunes, it was really quiet on our visit, expected so much more from TGIs Servers looked as if they were not interested. I asked for a cider, and it was served with no glass, I had to call the server back to ask for one, when it did arrive, no ice and just an ordinary soft drink glass. Very disappointed, £80 for a very below average meal.

Worst food I’ve had in a really long time do not go

Our waiter was fantastic. Didn't have cash to tip him unfortunately and do you realise if you tip by card your server only gets 60%!!! Company takes 40%. I think that's disgusting.

Understaffed, less good menu than it used to have. Our waiter was utterly delightful, but other staff left quite a bit to be desired. Don't expect this to be a decent weekend lunch venue. Toilets were not at all clean (long-term evidence of a quick mop swish into.the cubicle with a lot of filth left in all the corners) just a general lack of care. Gf is impossible.
