Very good food lovey customer service food came very fast the toilets were not very clean would definitely come again!!

Went to tgi Friday on 19th April ordered starter and before we even finished it our main course had arrived said to guy where's ur hat where's ur hurry he said sorry laughed and at the end all we got was an apology

Great cocktails and friendly staff

After a sunny day in Glasgow, and when we'd already been out for dinner, we stopped off at TGIs for a few cocktails. It was very quiet and I think the sunny weather meant most people were in beer gardens. We picked our cocktails and I must admit they are very expensive. I've always enjoyed cocktails here but I just feel they cost far too much now. Maybe another reason for how quiet the place is. Overall it's a great place to visit but very pricey.

Disappointing to see the decline in the quality of food, service and atmosphere in what used to be one of the go to restaurant chains. Poor experience on too many occasions now and sadly won’t be visiting again.

You should get rid of the “wait to be seated” thing. The guests want to choose the table themselves. If I can't do that, I'll go eat somewhere else. Otherwise nice, cozy TGI in a top location.

***** DO NOT VISIT TGI BUCHANAN STREET ***** Overpriced and food wasn't worth it. Customer service could have been better - considering I had 2 kids with me the staff were unhelpful with any of the promotions that they were offering and didn't bother to mention any until I challenged the bill. AVOID AND HEAD SOMEWHERE THAT WILL APPRECIATE THE CUSTOM!!!!!

Went there as a family of 5 and ordered amongst other things 2 "Smashed" Burgers, when they finally arrived after nearly an hour waiting -the 2 burgers were burnt beyond recognition! It was so burnt it was actually solid and fully off holes, the only way it could have been a burger was the fact that the waitress handed it over say "smashed burger". The restaurant is dimly lit, so maybe they thought we wouldn't notice (both burgers were in the same cindered condition!) and attempt to bit into it! They were so bad, I honestly thought it was a joke setup to see our reaction and looking for the camera crew! Put it this way, you could have carbon-dated the age of the cow it was so much like charcoal! The fact that the kitchen staff actually tried to pass them off as edible is quite worrying! I told the waitress straight away we were not going to eat either of them. I refused to eat anything in there after that, my son ordered replacement burger that arrived as well done but at least not charcoal! They were so kind as not to charge me for my cindered offering but still did not give any sort of discount just an apology from the waitress! I should have asked the chef to come out so we could watch him/her attempt to eat it! Avoid if you have any sense and not to waste your money! ( I didn't take any photos of them but I am sure the kitchen staff and waitress will remember what they tried to pass as edible!)

Great all around. If you're not from Europe, I say give it a try was totally different from America's.

We ate upstairs yesterday - cocktails made by Heather (short girl with glasses) were fantastic, and the waiter provided wonderful service. Will definitely be back!

The food was nice, but the restaurant was very cold. The staff were very friendly but they were busy. The staff tried their best but would benefit from an extra pair of hands.

We ordered a dish containing beef shoulder, but it was frozen. We informed the waiter, and he responded kindly, replacing it with a new beef shoulder. However, this time it was too salty.

Excellent service good good quality food

This was one of our go to places for food with the kids. What has happened to TGI. The food was poor for all of us. Boneless wings with no sauce on them, only dry. Got growled at by staff for asking for sauce. Sons pasta was so bad he didn't eat it and the sesame chicken is just not the same and more after being one of the best dishes. We had to go and fetch our own cutlery from staff which was stained with food prom previous customers and our drinks came after food. Poor show TGI and this is from someone who used to love going to your restaurants. Not sure we will go back now after this disappointing Saturday evening.

Been a long time since I've sat and ate a meal that was worth every penny. Definitely worth the visit.

A little too expensive for what it is, the food was still pretty good. Just wish the service was a little better. We waited a long time for drinks and the check. The server was nice though.

I recently had a disappointing experience with the customer service here. I ordered a plain burger, but when it arrived, it was topped with everything. When I approached the waiter to request a plain burger instead, he took it upon himself (without asking anyone or even trying to resolve it) and refused to change it for a plain one but instead he said that he would scrape off the toppings rather than offering to prepare a new burger. This approach was quite concerning, especially considering that we may have requested a plain burger due to allergies or dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, we were met with a rude waiter and a blunt refusal to accommodate our request. In the end, we ended up having to pay £20 for a small portion of chips, as we did not eat the burger. This experience was quite frustrating and did not meet the standards I expect from the restaurant.

Shocking trip to what was once a thriving place to go. Food was awful and the place is run by kids on minimum wage who haven’t been properly trained and can’t be expected to provide a genuinely good service (therein lies the problem!). As an example I had buffalo wings that came out without celery sticks. Young lad that served me didn’t seem to know what a celery stick was but managed to find me some from what appeared to be off the floor, brown and curled up like the mice had been at them. Everything seems to be boil in the bag and pre cooked rubbish. A far cry from the TGI Fridays that hit the streets back in the 90’s. Will avoid the place from now on and try some of the more caring providers.

The food was ok. Small plates to make it look like you have more than you do. The salad was missing from the starter. The waiter was good and attentive. Very busy and had to wait for a table even though we had booked.

Lovely place to dine with a friend or partner. Food was amazing and service was super fast and helpful thanks to a gentleman called lewis. Would highly recommend

Ok for a quick bite after shopping or before a night out. Food is average burger was on par with McDonalds but the sweet potato fries were really good. Cocktails are nice. If you go to the back page of the menu some of them for £3 extra you can have a massive version which is far worth it. Decor nice there’s a carousel horse you can take photos on but unfortunately the toilets smelled of sick. Service was alright it’s Saturday early evening and really busy so they don’t really have time for you and did smile once but didn’t explain the menu or how the bigger cocktails were a better deal (we had another table tell us) Bar and block near st Enochs square was similar options but so much nicer

Food and staff were great, but when we were there, 4 pm, it was just the 2 of us and 3 other folk, who was just leaving. OK for a quick stop👍🍻

Expensive shop for no reason. The service from the guys is very good but I wouldn't go back just for that reason. The menu is limited and its prices are taken from big restaurants. A Burger with mac fries £19.50 or €23. Some miserable reheated spaghetti that is inedible €9. I think you pay for the location and not the food.

Great place to pop in for a cocktail and some wings when out in town

While out shopping felt really hungry, walked into TGI Fridays pleasant person on reception showed us to a table, waiter took our order as well as our drinks order, the food was pretty slow in coming out. I was so hungry, it was ok.

Where do I start… Got there with a booking for 6pax at 7pm, apparently the system had us in for 7:30 (I had booked online on their website, showed the guy at the desk my email confirmation) we were seated at a table with just napkins, we thought okay they won’t be long with cutlery. We had ordered drinks that came semi quickly but then this is where it goes more downhill ordered the food everyone’s food came apart from one person, our waitress told us it’ll only be a couple of minutes, oh boy how wrong was she! Burgers were good according to my friends, Mac and cheese was good apart from one, he said it was dry and pasta wasn’t even cooked so I had to share with him. AN HOUR LATER still no ribs for my friend, I’ve had to shout our waitress over because it felt like she was avoiding, never asked if everything was okay with food or needed more drinks. I’ve had to ask for water and where our last main meal is and the response that was given “I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen, I can’t give you a takeaway box once they are ready” what response is that! We gave up and said fine, my friend had to eat his dinner in the middle of Glasgow with also a lot of the meal missing! When it came to paying £30 was taken off our bill which was fine but nothing was even mentioned about the ribs not even and sorry. Will most definitely not be back, really horrible experience and horrible service.

Overall a disappointing experience.

Myself and my wife have been massive fans of TGI for years and while in Glasgow at the weekend decided to treat ourselves. The food was horrendous we got our normal orders, the buffalo bites arrived cold.. with no celery and a tub of watery blue cheese, the chicken sesame strips arrived without any salad or tub of TGI dipping sauce. Main course arrived the glazed burgers was semi warm and pink in the middle with no dipping sauce .. we couldn’t finish it due to being semi raw and cold and it was £75 for the pleasure. The fries were burned and cold also. The waiter was fine and food arrived fast (in fact too fast, one waiter was walking away with the dirty starter plates as another arrived with the main course.

Had a strawberry daiquiri and chicken ceasar salad. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Ewan who made my wonderful strawberry daiquiri

Where do I start....staff, amazing, food was just wow!! Over ordered as we don't get off isle of Cumbrae much. Chicken strips with sesame seeds, loaded fries and more! Just fabulous!! Thanks Lauchlain

Burger was tasty, but pink in the middle (opening the door to food poisoning). Fries were good, and the limitless coke refill was fabulous.

I haven't been here for 2 years and today was great, the food was great but the service was exceptional. I was served by Rachel upstairs, she was amazing. Not only did she serve me she was very attentive to everyone she was looking after. It's usually to find someone working at this standard in any restaurant . I don't know her and am visiting Glasgow, I live in Birmingham. Thanks for a great night .

It's not too bad restaurant, but had better experience with another brunches. The serving was quick. Pretty flexible, my requirements were fulfilled. Asked no source and salad. But ribs themselves were not too high quality.

Food in here is vile now. This place has become pricy too and not worth the money at all. Not even slightly. Ribs were disgusting usually a big rack covered in sauce burgers now around 20 quid what an absolute joke. Don't eat here not worth it and bad quality food.

Didn't have any food, but the cocktails were excellent and the waiter was very welcoming and friendly.

Went with my 2 grown up kids. Service was good, no waiting. Got drinks promptly and ordered food. Wasn't a long wait. Was lovely.

Came here for dinner and some drinks. Staff was really lovely but the food definitely wasn't worth it. Burger was so overcooked I'm pretty sure the next generation of cow is also cooked. Salad tasty very shady. Cocktail was okay. However the flask cocktail didn't come in a flask. I understand that things happen but a warning would've been appreciated. Will come again for cocktails not for food

Appalling! Very disappointed as it was always a favourite place to go in a group. We waited 1/2 hr before Waiter decided to come over. Place was nearly empty and it was 8.00p.m. Strange. Only to be told they do not do our favourite Cocktail and never have done. I have had it here many times before. Then, to make matters worse, in an half empty restaurant, somehow the Ribs were Sold Out. All types. We could have Steak. As Waiter had now gone, again, we decided to do same thing and went elsewhere. Shame. Used to be cool place.

Great experience on Saturday night. The restaurant seemed very busy but our waiter, Dario, took great care of us. Very attentive, friendly and the service was quick with a smile.

Mistake with order but barman fixed promptly

My poor daughter had a massive black hair in her food and the replacement came well after we were finished so she ate alone and she was also traumatised by the disgusting toilets. Screaming kids in booth behind us and a foul mouthed family next to us. We still had to hand over £140 for the privilege. Never again!

The service was really good so was the food the restaurant needs a bit of a spruce up but no real issues.

We had starter's, both were nice, except i did not get the right dip with my Mozzarella sticks. My crispy chicken burger was awful. I had a full lettuce leaf on the base of the bun. The cheese slices seemed cheap and weren't even melted. The crispy chicken was dumpy like chicken strips, I only ate half of it. The sesame chicken that my partner had was nice. I don't think the price of the meals really matches what you get. I definitely won't be back before they go into liquidation.

Josh B is an absolute star. Coped really well on a busy Sunday shift. Can't believe they've stopped selling Silver Mercedes cocktails, it was my raison detre for going sadly

It's one of our favourite places

First we got the wrong food. Then we got the right one, but half of the salad was missing (dressing and avocado) and it had stalks. The burger was completely cold and in places the meat was like coal. We wouldn't go here again for the price. The staff is actually very nice, but not well organized. Definitely too expensive for the quality.

Unfortunately the food when it arrived was cold. They offered to re-heat the meal: this took approx. 10 minutes before the food was returned, by which point the rest of the table had finished their food.

Loved the Mozzarella Sticks then Pasta dish.... Service slow BUT it was very busy and am sure staff were rushed off their feet ... Nice dark quirky interior and toilets.. Would go back!

Me and my friend are through in Glasgow to see a concert. We stopped in at TGI's and the service was impeccable. Food was really good and prices okay. Will definitely be back..

Looking for a fun place in the city center to enjoy time with family or friends? This is the spot if you have a reasonable budget. I can’t say enough about the great atmosphere, location, and service—everything was excellent. My only small note is that their menu didn’t have enough main seafood dishes. There were only two options for appetizers: prawns and fried calamari. Another note: a trip to the restroom involves a short walk through a basement with some amusing surprises.

Food was cold when served and one dish went back and was returned fresh! So I cannot faulted them for their service but the food was very much sub par and very expensive for what we got! Staff were very obliging and as mentioned prior count fault the service side of things.

Popped in for a cpl of drinks and the prices for alcohol were ridiculous 6.50 for a 330ml bottle of peroni ...seriously but the staff were very pleasant

My sister has a shellfish allergy the manager came to take our order to ensure what she was choosing was ok he explained the process that goes on in kitchen when a check comes in with allergy.They pull out all stops I realise it’s company policy,but it reassured us that it was going to be dealt with properly.It was our birthday and when the realised that we got a slice of birthday cake to take home and they sang to us.Top marks to your team 👏👏

Really liked it, hadn't been in years. Food was good, pricey for what it is, but ok if you order off the 2 for menu. Service was really good though. Staff are very pleasant and efficient.

Not that impressed tbh 2 burgers in our party came out rare, the manager did take the meals off the bill and give us 10% discount, but even so not at all like it was before the dreaded COVID

A realty great restaurant to have at least dessert, the Smored Sundae was really good - bigger than it was in Edinburgh, it tasted really good. And Laura did a really good job in service. She was quick, very friendly and had some hints where to have live music that evening! Thanks a lot!

Vegetarian food available. But limited drink options

Great place for children my little one enjoyed her strawberry milkshake. Plus you kids get free meal. If you have Stripe app there is loads of offers to claim. The staff are very friendly & accomodating.
