I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! To start with this is a cafe not a restaurant. So they specialise in lots of different sandwiches. They also serve jacket potatoes and soup, plus cakes. I have been twice now in the last couple of weeks and both times the food and the staff have been great. Today I was with two other people (one who is a very fussy eater), we all ordered different meals and we were all really happy with what we had. They cater for meat and fish eaters as well as veggie and vegan people as well. I don't think that they serve GF bread but they do a good selection of jackets so no problem there. The only slight drawback is the size. You can end up waiting for a table though you can order to take away as well. Prices are good too compared with the town I live in. So, basically a no frills cafe with great food and great service. I would recommend this to almost anybody except that the toilet is not wheelchair user friendly.

Best spot for lunch in the area , good food , friendly ladies serving , cushions on all the seats ,super comfy ,and with a sea view, little bit of heaven

Primera visita y teníamos un menú Early Bird ayer nietos les encantó la dulce amarga pollo y arroz pedimos patatas fritas extra que no necesitamos, como el tamaño de las porciones excelente! Todos entrante de gambas y especialmente encantador tostadas costillas de carne sólo cayó el hueso! Sólo,, recomendación sería una señal más grande que decir que estaba abierto al primer pensamiento estaba cerrado! ! !

Great life music, quality sound, friendly bar staff, gigs are free and open to all and there are no unnecessary security guards. Students discounts accepted without any hesitation or discrimination.

The Swiss know how to do it right! The Flammenkuchen and the Mixed Salad were top notch! Not to mention the Plum Schnapps Coffee with Whipped Cream! Could not be more satisfied with our experience, including the impeccable service and charming atmosphere.

Lovely cafe! Really glad we found it! Amazing breakfasts and lovely coffee. Great value too! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

A lovely community Tea rooms run by very friendly volunteers. Tasty home made food served with a smile. Everything presented beautifully.

Came across this place on Streatham high street. The staff member was super friendly and had a great vibe. The coffee was lovely which helped and the almond croissant came out warm. Would certainly recommend this place for their friendliness and coffee
