Me and my partner both had the breakfast panini and it tasted brilliant, also the staff are lovely! Great little spot in Shrewsbury town.

Love this place! Just ate such a delicious breakfast. Proper sausages and tasty fresh bread with lovely crisp bacon too! Real quality all round. And great service. Thank you!

Lovely lunchtime "fueling" stop during a day of sightseeing. Well-filled paninis and rolls, pleasantly served. Good coffee.

I have had vegan salads and sandwiches, as well as chicken dishes, all home made and delicious. Always a treat to eat at the Little Gourmet!

We came across this little cafe by accident when we were looking for somewhere to escape the rain. The coffee was absolutely gorgeous and my bacon roll was delicious, served on a warm home cooked bread roll with good quality bacon and a little pot of brown sauce to the side. For a small cafe, the menu was quite extensive and the Buddha bowls looked fabulous. Sue, the owner was really friendly too. We will definitely be back next time we are n the area.

Coffee absolutely lovely. Homemade and home cooked baps/bread fantastic. This place is a few of us/ours regular go to for the foreseeable.

I won’t drink at Starbucks ( until they pay their taxes) and try to use smaller independent shops, this one is an absolute gem. Coffee to die for ( available from their supplier about 2 minutes walk away). Sat outside watching the world go by.

The experience was not gourmet, even a little. I placed an order via deliveroo so I understand food may not arrive at its best but I do expect to get what I ordered.

Excellent food and service! Had a delicious chicken sandwich, with artisan bread and tasty barbecued chicken, plus plenty of veg a cheese. A trendy little place, with fresh delicious food. Also offering vegan and veggie choices or burgers too! Can't wait to go back for more scrumptious food!

What a superb little place to eat! Every person who ate before me thanked the couple who ran it on the way out, as did I. Beautiful food, really tasty and one is highly recommend!!

Easy miss on the way to and from the station, but we were so glad we stopped off for a snack. Home-made cooking of the best sort, with excellent veggie options - snacks yes but really worthwhile! The custard tarts were the best we have tasted...and the lemon meringue pie, something else!!!. The young man serving was absolutely delightful, and we were lucky to catch a word with the cook as well, who was also very friendly. Cannot speak highly enough of this place - small in stature but huge in quality. Thank you.

Nearly walked straight past this place on my way to Greggs, but decided to support a local business and didn’t regret it! Lovely food and drinks, very polite staff. Would recommend.

I enjoyed a perfect warm chicken sandwich here, with tasy and quality ingredients. It was delicious! Lovely artisan cafe, with friendly service and close to the train station too. Will definately visit again!!

A delightful cafe, with an excellent range of snacks, hot and cold drinks and where nothing is too much trouble for the attentive and friendly staff.

Again came across this little cafe by chance as it was near Shrewsbury Prison which we had visited - absolutely agree with other reviewers - excellent bacon brie and cranberry on granary sandwich/on french bread two cappuccinos £6.70 absolutely delicious - probably the best sandwiches in Shrewsbury.

Recently we were visiting Shrewsbury and wanted a quick snack lunch. Entirely by chance we came across the Little Gourmet and decided to give it a try. It is really quite small and I suspect that most of its trade is to take away. As it was getting late for lunch it was quite quiet. We tried their bacon sandwiches which were really pretty good. Admittedly the bread was ready sliced but their was a choice of white or granary. We chose the latter, and the bacon in the sandwiches was really rather good. The two sandwiches, a cup of tea and an Americano coffee came to £6. 90p. Astonishing value. The cafe was clean and the service very friendly.

Estábamos decidiendo dónde comer cuando pasó por el poco Gourmet el menú caliente sandwich nos llamó la atención. Entramos y recibimos una cálida bienvenida. Ambos pedimos una salchicha, tocino y huevos y eran perfectos, fresca, no grasa o grasa y precioso goteo pan granary. La comida es preparada de abajo, si miras a través de la ventana, y no creo que hay mucho disponible no te dejes engañar - el menú es muy amplio y el servicio era excelente. Hay sólo unos pocos asientos dentro pero no un servicio de comida para llevar. Altamente recomendado.

Llamado aquí después de una visita al castillo que no tiene un café. Está justo al otro lado de la carretera. Nos pedimos un sándwich y té, que era preciosa. La comida se realiza en el establecimiento. El personal era muy amable. Nos sentamos en la ventana y miramos el mundo. Tiene una categoría de 5 estrellas de higiene. Sin duda a visitarla.

Aparecimos a la pequeña Gourmet después de bajar del tren en la estación cercana. Necesita una taza y una cálida, era un lugar estupendo para un café rápido y bonito para observar a la gente, juegos de mesa y sillas por la ventana. El personal era muy agradable y nos dieron una bienvenida muy cálida. Un gran comienzo para un día muy ocupado.

Este lugar ha sido tranquilamente cotización por algunos años y es un pequeño lugar agradable para tomar un bocado rápido de todo lo que quieras cuando estás de prisa. sándwiches tostados, sándwiches, cerdo asado caliente, patatas de la chaqueta, y mucho más.
