We had a quick stroll near the castle and stopped by this place because it was full and thought that this must be good. We only had a short time, so just ordered tea and a muffin, the food in the display looked decent enough.

Bittersweet is glorious. Absolutely exquisite cocktails, delicious small plates of Italian food and detailed and attentive service. The venue is beautiful and the staff were passionate and expressive in their shared mission to ensure we had a wonderful time and experienced a sensory explosion of flavour in everything we drank and ate. Visiting from London I was pleasantly shocked that the bill was so reasonable for such a feast in flavour. I honestly can’t think of a meal I’ve enjoyed more and am already looking forward to returning when back in Edinburgh for the festival. Leith has a new jewel in its culinary crown and it’s Bittersweet.

First time visit to Chit Chat. Had 3 dishes to share between two of us. Was so tasty, enjoyed every mouthful. Pani Puri, Vel Puri and Samosa Chat. Will definitely be going again, highly recommend you try it

One of the best vegi brunches I've had in a long time. Friendly staff, as well as efficient. Would defo recommend.... :)

Simply the best pizza around. Got a 9 inch magarita pizza and it was amazing. It had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce and was one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. The staff were really friendly and the price was also amazing. Will definitely be coming here again

The tacos are 5star easy going venue with delicious food very accommodating staff and delicious cocktails highly recommended do not miss this when your in town

Really love the atmosphere at this little Italian tuktuk. Coffee is like a taste of home. Staff are amazing too.

Delicious pizzas and decent people! BG Pizzas are an award winning pizza business in Halifax that do more than just amazingly tasty food, they also look after their local community and charities too. La primera vez que visito café me encanta... y me encantó, me encantó, me encantó! Tuvimos un día de madre e hija disfrutamos de la deliciosa comida, gran carta de vinos y buenas vibraciones. El servicio de Ria fue genial, ella explicó y recomendó grandes opciones del menú. Recomiendo encarecidamente el amor del café volverá.

We have waited a while before visiting this restaurant as I wanted to see what the reviews were like. I have to confess the website had originally put me off as it's very fussy/wordy/hard to read due to the typeface/background, but at the end of the day I wanted to try out the food! We had stuffed pork which was very tasty (although I do like to have the potatoes included in the cost at this price point) but the highlight was the dessert. It was a delicious lemon and almond cake which managed to be satisfying but light at the same time - really lovely. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and being able to take our own drinks was great. Would love to try the tasting menu at some point but the waiting list is long (maybe they could add in some extra dates since it's so popular) Would definitely visit again.

Really excellent food with a good choice of healthy food and a bit less healthy like full English. We had 4 did dishes and they were all really good

Recientemente visité Puffin Rooms Edinburgh para algunos whisky y cócteles, nos sirvieron por Declan y él era muy conocedor y servicial con los whiskys en el menú. Tuvimos un tiempo increíble y llegamos a experimentar algunos grandes y difíciles de encontrar drams!

One of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. Not just best in a climbing centre. The food is incredible, great coffee and all the team working there are friendly. Even if you’re not into indoor rock climbing, I highly recommend stopping in to the Crag Snacks cafe on the first floor of the Reach climbing centre.

Had the pizza at sip and slice have had their pizza 3 or 4 times now never disappointed 10/10
