Wigan Road Chippy in Wigan

Unreal chippy for me has to be one of the best in Leigh! I go here all the time for my tea and it’s absolutely delicious.

Went here and got 2 meals both of us really enjoyed and the service is good.you can see why they are the best chippy in the leigh area

Visited this chippy numerous times, its definitely the best around. Staff are always friendly and prices are reasonable too.

The fish really is very, very good. Immaculately clean, friendly and quick service, exactly what you want from a Chippy.

The Chicken burgers are wicked.. Fresh salad every time unlike some places.. Recommend the burger 100% .

This was our local chippy until we moved house two months ago. Though we've been in since! This is the best chippy, both myself and my little girl both agree that it definitely beats other chip shops! The food isn't greasy, it's well cooked, the fish and batter stay attached when opening the paper, and the staff are always jolly and friendly! Best chippy around I'd say! Certainly since moving town we've not had decent fish n chips except when we popped back to Wigan Rd chippy! 😃

It just goes to prove you don't have your charge over the top prices for good food. Yes I know there are award winning chip shops in Leigh but you get food for a family of five from here you are looking at a saving of over a fiver. Great food and good prices and friendly staff too which other shops seem to lack.

Excellent fish and chips, good produce and freshly cooked. Nice spicy curry sauce and proper gravy. The potato scallops "specials" are extremely nice. Very happy to use it as our local, a proper chippy!

Leigh has a few good chippy's it seems to be an inherited or required part of life. This one is at two of my top ten.

Great food, fish cooked to order, good price's. meal deals for adults and kids. Really friendly staff. love it. give them a try you will love it and go back for more.

The fish and chips are the best I've ever had, with the batter being perfectly light and crispy, and the chips golden and delicious. The staff are really welcoming, and the place is well run and very clean.

Visited last week with the girlfriend. I must admit we both had fish so no experience beyond this but it genuinely was the best Chippy fish I've ever tasted - Cheap prices also :)

I have visited this Chippy for a while now and have loved the food every single time. The staff are so friendly they make you want to stay a little longer. Very good value for money, generous portion sizes. Parking is available all around as plenty side streets. Also positioned very cleverly next door to a free to use cash machine!. Also as they have a Facebook page they run competitions all the time.
