Plantation Bar and Grill in Wigan

Been wanting to try here for ages and it did not disappoint. Had HCG chicken and the bang bang sauce was addictive. Alicia was fab informed us that there was 50% off which was an added bonus. Will deffo be back!

Came here tonight as we saw an advert on Wigan Food Reviews, food was lovely and tasty with great presentation. Both staff I came across were very polite and engaging. Service was quick, efficient and with a smile. We would recommend to others.

First time visiting today 12/3/25 and it definitely won't be the last. Excellent service and great tasting food. What a lovely little restaurant.

Great place to come and eat, really nicely done up inside. We had burgers and a BBQ share board to start and all were amazing and tasty, burgers were fantastic, will definitely return.

Always beautiful food. Tasty and spot on. The waitress that dealt with me over the phone taking my order was absolutely superb!! Helpful and so friendly. We have ordered from this restaurant numerous a time but have never visited, although we are defiantly will be visiting very soon.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely diabolical of a place , staff seemed disinterested & don't have a clue what's going on. Drinks are very expensive. The waiting times are ridiculous when there was anybody hardly in. I wouldn't go back I'll take my custom elsewhere.

Arrived 10 minutes early got told we couldn't order untill after our alloted time so ordered a shandy and a can of lemonade after a wait still couldn't order got told it would be about 30 mins the way the kitchen was going it would have been more like 2 hours so decided to leave not before having my pants pulled down and my balls sqouze 8.70 for a can of fanta and a shandy scandalous

Lovely food, definitely recommend

The food was delicious however, on arrival, it was a little cold (presumably multiple orders had to be dropped off). A few minutes in the oven and all was good. Wouldn’t put me off ordering again

Long delivery time to start with, when delivery exceeds window given this is then marked as delivered, not sure if this is automatic by just eat or to avoid it being marked as late

Very disappointing. My food was 20 minutes late & was only updated as a different time when I messaged to ask where it was. Unfortunately everything was also cold & went in the bin.

Long time customer here...The delivery times are really what this place down. Food is good but it just takes forever to get here. Final straw this time though. I shouldn't be eating a meal while feeling angry and having just spent £40 on.

First time ordering and we have found our new favourite takeaway! The food was exceptional, everything was hot and crisps and the customer service was second to none. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Booked for a large group 25 people, pre ordered food it was amazing and fresh, all come out on time . I’d definitely recommend for small or large groups staff really helpful and can’t do enough for you. Been a few times and every time is spot on.

'the special one' is a fantastic burger, and the topped tots are delicious, great food. often comes with a long delivery time but it's worth it.

I recently tried a burger that left me pretty disappointed. From the outside, it looked promising, but when I bit into it, the patty was shockingly undercooked. The center was still very pink and had a mushy texture, it was like warm mince meat, which made it quite unappetizing. The flavor of the toppings was okay, but the texture and doneness of the meat really overshadowed any positives. It’s a shame because the toppings and bun seemed fine, but the main component— the patty— was seriously lacking. I expected a well-cooked, juicy burger and unfortunately, this wasn’t it. Not an experience I’d want to repeat.

Food is always tasty here. Delivery was unusually fast as well. Only negative is that we rang up to make sure one of the burgers didn’t have sauce on, but it turned up covered in it. A bit annoying when you’ve spent £50 on a takeaway for two.

Didn't rate atmosphere as had a take away. Food was excellent, both chicken burger and beef burger. Also had loaded fries. Burgers are not normally something i eat but I was very impressed by the quality of produce. Easy to order and delivered on time.

The food from this place is amazing, i really enjoy it everytime, my only issue is that they don't seperate out the hot/cold items, i orderd 3 cans and waffle with ice cream and they were placed in the same bag as the burgers and fries which meant i had to reheat part of the order, they come in boxes not safe for the microwave so its a bit off a faff, seperate into bags and it'd be 5/5

Friendly staff and amazing food

Food always tastes beautiful, however the portion sizes are inconsistent, recent order was 3 tiny strips compared to the last order in which i received 5 strips. Delivery time is always accurate and food is always warm/hot when delivered. Would definitely recommend

We usually order a take away from here, which is always amazing. Fast delivery, and hot tasty food. We decided to dine in tonight. Service was great, fast and all staff very attentive. The food was delicious as always. 5 big stars and 100% recommend!

HANDS DOWN BEST FOOD IN ASHTON!! IT BAFFLES ME HOW IT DOESN’T GET ANY BUSIER MIDWEEK!! Burgers are immense, cooked to perfection! Been here so many times, never had a bad meal and the staff can’t do enough for ya!

Just had Bao Buns and Salt and Pepper Tater Tots. Quite possibly the best takeaway I’ve ever had. Ridiculously good food.

The food was tasty, but the vegetarian combo was very disappointing. Very expensive for the portion size offered, we were shocked. Had to ring to check where the food was as had been waiting over an hour and a half.

This was our first meal out together after moving to Ashton, had the salt and pepper chicken wings to start, wow. Burger and fries as a main, fries were crispy, burger was tasty, a lot of food, never a bad thing. Adina who served us was lovely, deffo happy this is on our doorstep
