I recently tried a burger that left me pretty disappointed. From the outside, it looked promising, but when I bit into it, the patty was shockingly undercooked. The center was still very pink and had a mushy texture, it was like warm mince meat, which made it quite unappetizing. The flavor of the toppings was okay, but the texture and doneness of the meat really overshadowed any positives. It’s a shame because the toppings and bun seemed fine, but the main component— the patty— was seriously lacking. I expected a well-cooked, juicy burger and unfortunately, this wasn’t it. Not an experience I’d want to repeat.

Lovely and fresh. Will definitely order from them again. Nice little touch putting the ice cream for the waffle separate, just so you can keep it from melting while eating your main. Thanks for the brilliant food.

Love Plantation my favourite place to go in Ashton. The food is always 10 out of 10. The staff are amazing, especially jonlewis, Reece and Emma. Jake the Chief..knows how to cook! Highly recommended 👍💞💞

Food is always tasty here. Delivery was unusually fast as well. Only negative is that we rang up to make sure one of the burgers didn’t have sauce on, but it turned up covered in it. A bit annoying when you’ve spent £50 on a takeaway for two.

Didn't rate atmosphere as had a take away. Food was excellent, both chicken burger and beef burger. Also had loaded fries. Burgers are not normally something i eat but I was very impressed by the quality of produce. Easy to order and delivered on time.

The food from this place is amazing, i really enjoy it everytime, my only issue is that they don't seperate out the hot/cold items, i orderd 3 cans and waffle with ice cream and they were placed in the same bag as the burgers and fries which meant i had to reheat part of the order, they come in boxes not safe for the microwave so its a bit off a faff, seperate into bags and it'd be 5/5

Friendly staff and amazing food

Food always tastes beautiful, however the portion sizes are inconsistent, recent order was 3 tiny strips compared to the last order in which i received 5 strips. Delivery time is always accurate and food is always warm/hot when delivered. Would definitely recommend

The food was tasty, but the vegetarian combo was very disappointing. Very expensive for the portion size offered, we were shocked. Had to ring to check where the food was as had been waiting over an hour and a half.

Hadn't been here for years and I don't know why! Food was insanely good. Filthy burgers, a chicken wrap which beat all the top chains and the kiev fries and Mac cheese where all amazing. Highly recommend. Great cocktails on offer too 🔥👌

Lovely food and good value for money

We came to Plantation for a meal with our 5 year old. The food was amazing. We had the combo platter starter and then "The special One" burger ... Both of which were amazing. Special thanks to Adina who provided amazing service throughout the night. Would recommend.

Our absolute favourite place to eat in Ashton. The burgers are amazing, never been disappointed. Brilliant selection of food and specials and the desserts are delicious too (though with the generous portion sizes it's often a struggle to fit one in!) Whenever we suggest eating out our 6 year old always asks to go to Plantation for a bacon cheeseburger! The service is always brilliant too (special thanks to Adina!)

Visited Plantation Bar & Grill for the first time and I would definitely recommend! Not only was the food and drink amazing, the place is very aesthetically pleasing and the service we received from Adina was amazing!! She went above and beyond! I liked the sound of a cocktail however it included gin which I don’t like. She changed the gin for vodka for me and it was fabulous! 10/10 would definitely recommend

Food was delivered 1 hour 45 mins after ordering. I know it would have been busy but this is a long time. Food was great. But waiting was unfortunate.

I ordered the chilli dog-the sauce from the chilli had completely saturated the bun meaning that you couldn't even pick it up and it fell apart. The quality of the chilli tasted like it came out of a can. I'd recommend serving the chilli and toppings in a seperate container

Literally the best burger I've ever tasted! Food was fresh, didn't take too long to come out and tasted gorgeous! The menue was vast with plenty to choose from and very reasonably priced. Staff were also very polite and friendly. Will definitely visit again ☺️

Food was quality, however atmosphere was terrible, we had an angry employee who'd visited with her family during her free time, swearing, being loud, abusive to staff, she was upset her 50% didn't apply to the entire group... Feral kids running around screaming, climbing the furniture. Honestly the Wheatherspoons around the corner felt higher quality, at least there I didn't feel I was going to be shanked by the over intoxicated employee, or have a child collide with me, or alternatively fall onto my table after using the seating as a climbing frame.

Although VERY LATE, was still a little warm, enough to eat. And was good. Not had a delivery from here since Lockdown thought would try again. Will be giving them another chance see if I was just unlucky with delivery today. 🤷🏻‍♂️

although the food was late the restaurant phoned to let us know, which we really appreciated. they also included a free dessert with our order, which was very nice of them and totally unexpected. when our food did arrive, it was definitely worth the wait! it was abslutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend plantation bar and grill.

bit late tonight but no problem, only complaint is no sauces for the burgers again seems to be every time we order we don't get the sauce

Food was OK. Wait for delivery not so good. Sent an expected delivery time, then notification of a delay, new time issued, food still turned up late. This may put us off ordering from there in the future.

Have ordered from here for quite a few years and the food has always been consistent. However tonight the burgers tasted awful with a bad fatty taste, the home made onion rings are just frozen and same goes for the chips. Will be the last time we order from here for a while. Considering the price of it compared to other take outs it has really disappointed us tonight.
