Always lovely food and great service from our waitress Ellie, it was the wife's 50 th birthday and they gave her a little surprise dessert, loved it thanks, will deffo be back.

Out of three starters sent two back sour dough rock hard and goats cheese Luke warm on the out side cold and hard in the middle. Turkey dinner don't rate it. Over priced.

We often visit and always have a great meal. This time unfortunately the ‘butchers block ‘ was over cooked. The staff however were incredibly accommodating and professional especially our server Bec.

Friendly service in a cosy atmosphere. Steak was very nicely done.

Went for a meal on Saturday and Kae was brilliant, very friendly and joyful really made us feel welcome (unlike the receptionist), would recommend.

Nice to be looked after on a rare meal out without the kids. Lauren B was attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for food or drinks. Only feedback - the steaks weren’t medium rare - but still tender and tasty.

Our server sam was lovely. Very knowledgeable and recommended how our steaks should be served. When ordering desserts he also made recommendations on our preference of choice. We weren't left with empty glasses throughout our visit and would be very happy to have him as our server when returning 😊

We were a large party, 3 with dietary restrictions, all our meals had been pre-booked. From when we arrived and throughout all our courses we were looked after by Sam who provided excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fabulous. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Disappointed visit today love miller and carter food never dissapoints but today wanted the apple pie and custard which I love so choose sticky toffee pudding with custard then was told they don't do custard anymore also it was chilly in there today

Wonderful family meal at this venue. Food was cooked perfectly and to my liking and the service was warm, friendly and accommodating to all in the party I was with. Slight delay but was during a busy period, so understandable. Would recommend!

We shared a chateaubriand steak between us and it was amazing, cooked to perfection as requested for us! Ellie L our waitress was so professional, pleasant and helpful and it really made our experience more comfortable ! We had an issue with the red wine we had chose and she quickly made sure we had a replacement without any unease.

Excellent food, we went on a Sunday and had the 3 course special, which was really reasonable for the quality of food we were served, starter steak and a desert, The atmosphere was relaxing with a warm and friendly feel. The staff were fantastic and with a group of 10 of us it was alway going to be a challenge which they rose to in a cheerful and friendly way, nothing was too much trouble. Overall we left really impressed and will definitely be back, perhaps just with a table for 2 next time.

I have been to a few M&Cs in Cardiff, Manchester, Stockport, Sunderland, etc. This one just didn't cut it. Our server came across as a person with an attitude. It turned out that others in our party noticed it as we discussed after leaving. The sauces served with our steak were rationed. One of us had to ask for more sauce and was initially told it's charged extra, then on looking said.. "Oh yea, the sauce isn't much." I ended up taking someone else's remaining sauce on the table as he didn't care for it, which was lucky. I normally call out bad service, but we had toddlers who were being fussy with us, so I didn't want to add to my stress. We were charged £30plus for service to top it off. For the 1st time ever, I didn't finish my steak, and every one of my party knows I don't joke with steak. I just didn't get same yummy experience here. Also, during booking, we mentioned we were gathering for one of the kids' birthdays. Not one person acknowledged or did something a little special for the kid.

Lovely experience for our family, food was all lovely, especially winner in Camabert mash. Our server Sam was lovely and chatty had some nice banter with the table. Great experience I will absolutely return.

Had a steak burger meal with some garlic bread. Definitely recommend for any burger lover! Garlic bread was one of the nicest ones I have tried as well. Was busy day so we had to wait slightly longer than usual, but the staff was still brilliant and made us feel welcomed even under more pressure. Will come again!

Had a really lovely meal from the Sunday set menu and the staff were great. The only issue was that the lighting was so dim that my uncle who is registered blind could barely see his meal to eat.

Visited Miller and Carter recently for a family meal. From start to finish, our evening was fabulous. The food was top notch delicious and service nothing short of outstanding, special thanks to Sam our waiter and Emma front of house, both friendly, welcoming and attentive, nothing was too rich trouble. It's average quite pricey for food for what you get

Bland and dry. Staff all eating McDonald's on the tables as they clearly mustn't enjoy the food there.

Had a pleasant lunch: food generally was very good except for the dessert, 2 of us had the poached pear but sadly it was rock hard - we had to each get a knife to try to cut into it - very disappointing - hence deduction of a star. I had kind of thought the staff may offer a free coffee or a little bit of a discount on the dessert as we did mention it as we both left half of it but nothing was forthcoming. All in all the rest of the food was very good and we weren't rushed out. Just remember to not choose the poached pear!!

We ate here on Wednesday 2nd Oct 2024 there was 6 of us. Sam our waiter had a wealth of knowledge of the menu and wines. He was great at his job lovely personality and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing starters mains and sweets. We will return. Thanks Sam super star 🌟

Visited today for lunch and We had the butchers block which was absolutely fantastic. First time trying and will not be the last. Our server Rachael was amazing very welcoming and attentive. Cannot fault a thing will definitely be recommending.

This was our first time and it certainly wont be the last. The food was absolutley amazing, could not fault it. Sam was our waiter and he was really knowledgeable about the food and brilliant with the children. Whatever we needed he was their. Perfect end to my birthday celebrations.
