The Salthouse NW in Cheshire West and Chester

Great little bar in town. I would love to be a regular but I live out of town and the opening hours are after I have left Northwich. I use to work there and they have a great team and selection of drinks it’s dog friendly bar so ticks all the boxes for me. Ellis & Alison are really hands on owners that support the business well. For a young lad joe manages the bar and team extremely well. Will definitely drop in for a drink and catch up soon the sister pub the bullring nw is also a fabulous addition the bar.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and nice wine! One of our favourite hang out spots in Northwich! It’s dog friendly too which is a plus.

This place has got the balance right with the beers & atmosphere it’s created. Every time I go, it’s been really welcoming & I enjoy it. It’s chilled & well worth a visit.

Truly the best bar in Northwich. Visit here regularly for drinks, there is a great selection of beers and gins. Staff are fantastic, everyone is very friendly. There is always a great atmosphere, especially if you’re after a quiet drink with friends.

Love this place its a little gem, staff always polite and helpful, we took family last night for a few gins, great choice of gins and staff always help with what type of tonics etc will match the gin, we just love this place! my father in law also said the ales were great!

We had works do here was nice place to go, food was fantastic, and drinks atmosphere was good too. Nice place to visit.

Visited for the 1st time on a busy Saturday evening. The bar was nice and busy and staff friendly. The bar has a nice modern look.

This is a great place to meet friends or just go for a drink with your partner. Well kept real ales, good craft beers and amazing gins are just some of the great drinks on offer. But what really makes this place so good are the fabulous, friendly, staff! A place not to be missed!

There was 3 of us on our first visit travelling from Sale & Altrincham. It was two of our friends who live in Pickmere that recommended it, so 5 of us in total visiting last night Thursday 19th July. Good selection of beers and a nice clientele. Gayle Woods who works there could not do enough for us. We had a nice round table watching the live artists sing and play guitar, brilliant. Gayle looked after us all night long with waitress service a pleasant smile along with good conversation. This alone will bring people back to revisit, well done Gayle :>)) Afterwards we fell into the very nice Indian restaurant located right next door. What more could you ask for!!!!!

Next door to Bombay Quay Indian restaurant . We have 'been for an Indian' and then finished off the evening at The Salthouse. Also great to just spend an evening with friends enjoying drinks and snacks. Nice to sit outdoor but seating outside is limited.

We are reasonably regular customers in the Salthouse as it has everything we need!

Tucked away between Waitrose and an Indian restuarant it is easy to park

What a gem! We just had a wonderful evening at this beautiful bar. I can’t thank Gayle enough for her warm welcome and genuine service. Staff like Gayle and her bar team are rare. Warm, efficient and making exceptional drinks! We had a lovely evening and will definitely come back soon!

Dropped in with mates pre Christmas drinks. Great variety of beers to choose from. Nice staff & a great atmosphere.

This place is a real gem in Northwich and a great find, despite being a bit off the beaten track it’s well worth a visit. We arrived early as we weren’t sure when it opened but Gail, the Assistant Manager, let us in even though she was still setting up. She then let us try the different craft beers and explained the difference. Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service, nothing was too much trouble. The bar is really well kitted out with a smart but rustic feel and a great choice of beers, wines and gins. They do sharing plates of cheeses etc, although we didn’t try them, will definitely be back and try next time!

Lovely, welcoming place with a calm, relaxing vibe and a great selection of gins. Will stay for longer next time as I see they have deli platters to share too. Just what Northwich needs - well worth a visit!

Been here a couple of times and it's always busy. It's small inside but it's comfortable and there's plenty of seats.
