Just to e pensive for what it is and if you get a takeaway for 2 meals and milk shakes can be above £50... and you have to ask why

Great burgers, nice chips, all five of the guys were really nice 😁

I took my wife there for dinner on an evening, and was greeted by an employee named Dominic, he was really happy and his energy just added to the great evening. Would deffinetly hire someone like him if I had a similar business.

Food was good, staff didn't seem overly chirpy, but the service wasn't bad. place was clean etc my only gripe was £5.50 for a small bottle of Budweiser !!!!

I went to 5 guys, first time 3 of us bill was £42 something but I see I was charged £8 Something service charge which they didn't tell me and I didn't realize until my daughter told me. What the hell is the service charge for! they don't do anything except give you your food in a bag for that price I could have gone to a restaurant and had plates and cutlery and been served! Disgusting would not have paid if I had known.

The restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, the fries and burgers are scrumptious and the milkshakes are amazing.

The burgers are very good but unbelievably expensive

This place keeps the Five Guys standard high! Always get served quickly and the food is as youd expect amazing!

First time visiting 5Guys Whitely and was so happy we did. We visited Rock Up with our boys aged 8 and 4 of their friends… they’d wanted to go to Burger King which turned out was shut for whatever reason. Luckily 5 Guys had some space. The food looked a bit expensive compared to BK however the guy that served me changed my order of fries and we ended up paying £80 for 6 children and 2 adults. The food was amazing and the quality and speed of how it was delivered was outstanding. The guy that served us was later cleaning some tables a popped by to ask us was everything ok with the food… I thanked the manager on the way out. 2 x Large fries is enough to feed an army by the way (luckily we had an army. Not a single thing was left!) 😂 thanks 5 guys

Great experience, great food and great staff, we got served by Jake who was very friendly and explained the portion sizes which helped out a lot.

Disgusting - appalling presentation very unappealing. The burger was burnt. Highly overpriced and not value for money . Complained to their head office and received very off hand responses with no apology. There is no telephone number available to speak to a human being about my unsatisfactory experience . AVOID THIS PLACE

Has been a while since my last visit to Five Guys and felt the food taste had gone down in my opinion , rubbish , dropped food, and not enough cleaning of tables done , very off putting when you are eating.

Order food via user eats. Order never arrived after want 1hr 20 mins and they said it looks like it went to wrong address. I spent £95 and they said couldn't do anything about it! £95 !!! In the end I drove my kids to McDonald's. Unbelievable lack of care or empathy, £95 is a lot of money for what essentially is a posh burger! I will be on social media about this experience next! My wife stopped me from driving to your Restaurant!! Absolute Disgrace of a company taking my money and receiving nothing!!

Expensive ! £6 for a milkshake? Hardly a place for a family of four to eat cheaply. The burgers and fillings are good as are the chips but too pricey for a regular meal.

Burger didnt taste any good. It was over priced for 2 small burgers! Chips were not tasty at all. I would not go there again I was disappointed.

It's just really yum. I feel less bad after the fact than I do if I have McDonald's or something like that. The burgers are just on a different level.

Love five guys, always have, always will. Food coma after I eat my regular order everytime. Absolutely worth the money

Lots of staff very slow service, no one was clearing the tables or floors where people had dropped alot of food or spilt milkshakes, alot of flies but that's gonna be expected with no cleaning being done wouldn't go back to that one in a hurry

Awesome burgers and hotdogs made to order, well worth a visit.

The food was great and the service good. I have it a 4 because we were dining I and I get the food took long but the restaurant didn't have a lot of people in and not many home delivery drivers either.

Love five guys you can't go wrong the quality is always great.

Decent burger. Great milkshake & chips. Still not up there with 7 Bone Red Dog Saloon, & Honest Burgers

Virtually empty. No atmosphere. No coffee. Chips served in a too small a cup contained within a large brown bag?? Chips were not very crisp. Won't be quick to return. Not good value.

The best burger. Delivery always fast and nice. Expensive but worth every penny.

Burgers are a bit pricey for a "fast food" place, however its nicer than most restaurants I've eaten in, the chips are a rather generous portion size we got a large and a small for 2 adults (I'm not small) with 3 kids that have good appetites and it was a struggle. Refillable cold drinks is always a bonus. All in enjoyed it as a once in a while treat.

Expensive but worth every penny. I don't eat burgers regularly, particularly from the big fast-food restaurants. Five Guys hits differently. The Whitely restaurant has loads of parking around this massive shopping centre; conveniently, there is disabled parking right outside Five Guys. Once in a blue moon, we will treat ourselves to a Five Guys family meal. My kids love eating there. Five Guys have a few things on the menu, with burgers central to what they do; my daughter sometimes has one of their hot dogs. You can't beat the chips; they are to die for - you get loads too. When you order, you get to build the burger you want - you can choose to have one or two burgers in your bun. There is little more to say about Five Guys - if you love a burger, get your-self to one of their restaurants.

Bring your pay packet with you if you want to upgrade vs the Burger King 2 doors down. £20 for basic burger, small fries and milk shake for one person. Wow, I had no idea. Of course it was tastier than BK and you feel like you are getting a proper diner meal (despite the fast food presentation) but wow, took me back for a second when the bill was presented at the order counter. Imagine if I had bought lunch for the full family of four. That on top of taking them to the next door Cinema or Rock Up climbing center. Ouch. I was thinking more like £12-13. Decor and furniture = quite cheap look and feel. Ambience = zero. Service = functional, nothing to write home about. Not sure why there was a tip jar at the order counter. The milk shake was very good though, and I didn’t need a giant spoon and pack of paracetamol to get through it. Heard a lot about Five Guys but the price is adding in too much confusion to the decision on whether I would return.

Amazing place. Myfavour for burgers. Wish it was like the USA but glad we've got it. The topping in the USA adenits but this place will leave ypu satisfied

Taste amazing quick service and always friendly.

Proper burger joint. As simple or complicated as you want it to be. Just remember a normal burger is two patties. I'm still working on my own way to keep that in mind. Hand tattoo probs.

A slightly sterile atmosphere that isn't very warm or friendly. However, that is more than made up for by the food quality!

Visited today with my family. In total two adults and three children. Possibly the worst sit in meal we have ever had. Very expensive for what it was, especially since the chips were so salty nobody could eat them, we had to ask twice for a table to be cleaned as all the tables were dirty, just a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Will not be returning, and will not be recommending.

It was one of the very few restaurants in UK, which reminded me of India in terms of spices used. I loved there super spicy fries....yummy.....

I took my son here tonight for a spontaneous dinner - we were lucky enough to be served by the empathetic store manager, Kain. My boy is 5 but has the mental age of a toddler, cannot verbalise his needs and is also autistic so has complex sensory issues which affect what he eats. I was expressing my dilemma to Kain and decided to order both burger and hotdog as I wasn’t sure which one my son would tolerate. He’s very unpredictable. Kain kindly said I only had to pay for one as he knew what it was like. I’ve never felt so seen by an establishment before and he even customised the hotdog with different options (one half cheese). When you are facing the world alone with a child that has extra needs, you are engulfed in a sense of loneliness that only those who live it can truly understand. Kain you made such a positive impact to more than just our dinner, but our lives, and I thank you for showing compassion not judgment, putting humanity over profit & reminding me that we are not alone. The world needs more people like you! PS he chose the burger and loved it 😍

Blimey! Talk about tasty!!! These burgers are to die for; SO tasty and more-ish. That, coupled with gorgeous fries make this a place to go. It is rather expensive (I nearly fell off my American-themed stool when the order was totalled!!!) but it was worth it…. A treat rather than the ‘norm’, one might say. It’s defo worth a visit (especially if you’ve had a recent win on the lottery or pools!!!!)

Excellent well cooked burgers and chips all piping hot. Friendly clean. You'll never eat a burger anywhere else, once you've had a five guys

The most overrated and overpriced "meal" I've ever had. 2 cold "hotdogs" and a paper cup of chips.....£16 !!!! Even my 5yr old daughter said " daddy, this is horrible"...

Always enjoy the burgers and the cajun fries always are great. Not 5 stars as it's too hit or miss whether the burger will be excessively greasy or not. Some are much better than others.

Just popped into five guys in whiteley for a quick lunch. Food is made fresh to order so takes a little time vs the normal fast food outlets. Ordered a little cheese burger 'all the way' along with little fries. Food is well presented and as the options for customisation is vast I went with the easy option of 'all the way'. The amount given is very generous. Although all in all I'm a little underwhelmed with the burger, I'm not the biggest fan of a soft to soggy burger bun, it is was quite luke warm considering how fresh it was. But I do love the fries and I couldn't manage more than a small portion as its very generous, the fries itself has a wonderful flavour and crunch is excellent, definitely the best fries around, shame about the burger.

Love this place, prices are high but you get what you pay for.

Fast, efficient, great burgers, awesome shakes, a little pricey but it's worth it! Its all made to order which really makes the difference! Don't be put off by a big queue as people get served pretty quickly and the queue goes in no time. Peanut butter in shakes....awesome!

I mean, who doesn't love burgers, and these guys make "Mean" burgers! Definitely recommend. Not the cheapest but are worth it. Will come back for sure!

Really awful experience. Ques of deliveroo and just eat drivers giving a dine in wait of 30 mins plus. Overpriced and over rated.

If you like burgers and haven't had Five Guys then I highly recommend that you try them out. Best burgers and fries I've tried, not the cheapest but beats Mcdonalds and Buger King hands down. The milkshakes are also excellent.

Never been to 5 guys before and made the effort whilst in Whiteley. Not particularly impressed what with all the hype about fresh this, hand chopped that, free nuts, build your own burger, free drink refill, where the potatoes are sourced etc, etc. HOWEVER - what appeared in a brown paper bag surrounded by cold chips was a bun with grease dripping from it. My partner and I made an attempt although we only managed a couple of bites. Felt awful all day with my stomach doing flick flacks and constant indigestion. 2 drinks, 2 burgers, 2 fries £37!!!! Rather go to Wimpy.

I mean, why are you looking at rwviews of Five Guys? They make the best burgers which are highly customisable and the food is always fresh and hot! Whiteley FG`s is fairly new and it's a great place to grab some food after a hectic day of shopping or just before heading to Cineworld for a movie.

Awful food rather have a Macdonald's. Pay a tenner for a burger small than a kids hamburger at Macdonald's. Tastes 5 outta 10 at best. Avoid at all cost, also staff are very unhelpful .

Such a nice day at Five Guys. Food, place and crew members make you feel so comfortable. I fully recommend it.

After a manic day with small human we came to Five guys for some food and for me to have hopefully a breather! Service was amazing and extremely helpful staff when small human spilt his drink on the floor and on his food 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don't often come to five guys but I'll definitely be back. Couldn't fault anything plus the food was delicious!

Food was ok, but not accepting cash at a restaurant is an absolute joke. How can you only accept card payments, Burger King next door were the same!!!!

The only boring thing about this store, is the consistancy of its, staff to be, warm, friendly, welcoming, and actually like to serve you exactly what you want. Instead of just taking an order, you're made to feel like they enjoy the process as much as you and are happy to see you. Oh yeah and the food is incredible, fries always overflowing and best Milk shakes you'll get from any fast good retailer. Ben and team thanks for keeping up the standards.

The Worst Five Guys Experience! Usually I love a Five Guys meal, and I had to stop for some lunch whilst on the road...however this was not a great choice.. Service was slow, quality of the food was awful compared with that of other Five Guys restaurants, and just overall not enjoyable. I will not be returning here.

Nice food, a little bit expensive

Staff were great, the burgers were great, the milkshakes were great. It was super quiet when we went so burgers, cooked fresh, came quick. And of course the fries are the best of any fast food place.

Always delicious! Lovely and clean, such massive portions! And I went small, value for money! If you go large on anything its incredible...😂 Disabled friendly, wide open doors, and fast service. 5*

I had the cheese and bacon double with fries and IMO it’s the best burger in the area. The Oreo shake is awesome too!

I sat outside because i had my dog with me. But when I asked them if they could cook so.e chicken for my dog they did not hesitate and were happy to oblige.

Great place to go after the movies, burgers are great and a small chips will feed 3 people hahaha. Never too busy, helps the service is quick.

Service was poor and they had forgotten about my hot dog. 10 minutes after i placed the order and queried it did they start making it. I think for £5.35 it's not worth it. The Cineworld hot dog is double the size and much better value at £4.50. I wont go back to give guys

Nice place where you can choose different fillings in your burger making it pricey. Fries were hot out from the fryer and portion was big for one person. Not so many customers during our visit. Service was good and the place clean.

If you want a decent burger, quickly, from a chain restaurant these days, it may be difficult to do better than Five Guys. However it is pricey, and not a patch on the burgers from the (now defunct?) 70s/80s/90s burger chain: The Great American Disaster, which was THE best

Always get really good service from here, combine that with the Burger Artists, it does the Five Guys name proud!!
