Can't complain about the food, tasted great, looked great and portion sizes were great. We visited at 6pm and the restaurant was near enough empty, only 2 other tables were taken, the service staff were nice enough, however did notice they two lads seemed more.interested in having a chat with each other than serving. Wait time for the food was a little long considering the few people who were seated. There didn't seem to be much of an atmosphere within the establishment, and the music was being played slightly too loud meaning conversations needed to be louder. Cleanliness of the restaurant was also a little below par, the window booth in which we were seated had sweets strewn around it. Overall we would go back at a different time of service. The food definitely saved it on this occasio.

We had a very positive experience for my daughters 6th birthday. The team were really friendly and attentive and all of our meals were lovely and tasty. I do find it a little bit expensive to dine here however they have a good range of gluten free options for myself and my daughter so it is nice to have a selection to choose from.

Enjoyed a relaxed lunch here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. Particularly enjoyed the beef hash. Service was friendly and efficient (thanks, Emma). Only negative was the extremely poor WiFi - if you're going to offer it, make sure it is fit for purpose - but this didn't impact our enjoyment of the meal.

Pretty good but don't go there to eat a steak. Low quality meat.

Went to this establishment for my great nans 99th birthday. We had a lovely time, with our server, Jamie, providing us with a lovely evening with good service and even better jokes! The atmosphere was light and friendly, partly due to Jamie’s hospitality. However, our food wasn’t amazing, as some of the dishes came out slightly cold, and some just didn’t taste very nice. We’d be happy to come again, as Jamie made our experience a good one, but the food was very subpar.

We went here for my son's birthday meal, Food was nice, although was warm not piping hot, staff were great especially max who made sure no request was too much, he went all out to give us the best service, thank you

I came here with my family and 2 friends. The staff that came to take the drinks order was knowledgeable onbth3 menu and was polite. We them ordered our food, again all good. Until the food began to arrive, the first item to arrive was a bacon burger (not ordered a chicken burger was), the Mac and cheese was bland, had little to no taste and was extremely bland, no cheese taste at all, this was returned and no replacement requested, just to be removed from the bill. We also ordered a chicken stack with ribs. The ribs were acceptable, nothing special. The chicken was cut into 2 pieces, the first was poor quality, it had a texture similar to fish, was a bit slimy and not pleasant, the second half was OK, again nothing special. Slightly after this a member of management cane up with the Mac and cheese boxed up to takeaway, again it had to be explained that this was bit requested and that it was in fact returned and wasn't wanted! A further manager then came over, she was brilliant! She took the time to discuss the issue (she spoke English as a second language) But was brilliant, she was knowledgeable in the business and the products and was interested in the feedback! We requested a jug of tap water, the first jug arrived, when we requested a second, there was apparently no jugs so 4 pint glases of water were supplied instead! The food was pricey for the quality, overall service was good, but there us certainly room for improvement.

Sienna was a bubbly friendly and helpful waitress and the chefs I would highly recommend Simon’s and Carlos all around very happy

So I took my mum to Frankie & Benny’s in Whiteley. Despite pre-booking and stipulating on the booking that my mum would be attending and using a mobility scooter. However, upon arriving I was informed that there was no space for a mobility scooter and my mum would need to leave it outside in the rain and walk in. I was horrified by this response as my mum has limited mobility. when I pointed this out to the hostess she said we are unable to accommodate and I said what happens if somebody was wheelchair dependent she said I don’t know, we can’t accommodate them we don’t have the space, specially given the fact it’s half term. I was absolutely horrified to experience the lack of inclusivity regarding people with disabilities.

First time visiting the Whiteley restaurant. We came in @3pm on a Sunday. My son must have told us, it was "the best chicken burger" he'd had about 8 times 👍 The ribs were great and the Spaghetti and meatballs never disappoints. Biscoff/donut Sundae was delicious and the cookie dough were also a hit. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Came here today as a family to celebrate the little ones birthday and it was incredible! Staff are so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond for the birthday girl including playing birthday songs in their big speaker! Food took over an hour to arrive despite it not being busy at all. It was mildly warm at best when it eventually did arrive and was missing one of the sides. Whiteley has lots of restaurant options- try them first!

Spur of the moment evening, so went to the francie and bennys in whiteley and the food was lovely, atmosphere was nice, the service was absolutely Wonderful. We were served by a girl called Jess who was very helpful.

The meal I selected was superb and the waitress was so attentive. The whole experience was great we were not rushed so could enjoy the evening, will be going back there again

Had a lovely family meal , our server Olivia was fantastic. I have allergies and she was so reassuring and informative and was also great with the children. The chicken strips were really tasty and we all enjoyed our meals. We will be back!

Visited the F&B in Whitely twice over Christmas and new year. The food was excellent as was the service we received. I had the Serloin steak, which was perfectly cooked the way I asked. Looking forward to going back again. We also tried the Chicken Parm, chicken strips (hot sauce) and some sides, which were also excellent.

Been to The Whiteley restaurant tonight and was really impressed. Served quickly, fantastic food, lovely staff, I would definitely come again with the family. I would like to give a special mention to Aaron and Jimmy for the delicious food. And also to Emma who made us feel so welcome with the children. Emma, our waitress was really lovely and helpful. She kept making sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a real asset to the team. Food was all fab, and was served in good time.

Fantastic service with great value for money food

My boyfriend and I were meeting some friends for lunch, we opted for Whiteley because it was halfway driving time for us. I have been to a couple of Frankie & Bennys before, one in Gunwharf and one in Newquay and picked here because they generally do good food. It also was a change from the usual chains. I booked a table in advance online for the 4 of us, we were all looking forward to it. It wasn't very busy and there was plenty of staff however service was very slow and frankly they didn't seem bothered by our custom. My boyfriend and friend ordered the combo for the starter, barely anything on the plate to show it was a starter, let alone a combo and it was an expensive combo. Twice we asked for the blue cheese dip to come with the starter and we had to ask again when the starters came. Our server disappeared on a break and then left to go home but didn't hand over to any of the other staff so it was really tricky to get anyone's attention, even at paying time. Food disappointedly was average, had to ask for Parmesan even though all four of us having pasta dishes, my Spaghetti Bolognaise lacked real depth, the lasagne looked appealing but an odd taste. We were going to have pudding, I was looking forward to it but no staff paying notice,no one asked if we wanted pudding and we waited so long, we just didn't bother with pudding and i had to go up and tell them we wanted to pay up because again no one came over. We wandered round the shops afterwards, such a shame about lunch, shame I didn't read the other reviews before booking and maybe the usual places are best sticking too.

We usually visit the fareham branch for family occasions and we always have a good experience. This time we saw that the manu had changed and some of our fave items had been removed. Please bring back a hotdog and grilled chicken burger. It doesnt have to all be fried.

Good few options for vegan's. Pizzas, mac and cheese, bean burgers and garlic bread! All very yummy and would recommend! Could do with a few more vegan options and would be nice for vegan desserts but can't fault the food we did have

I just took my 8 year son to Frankies & Bennies for his 8th Birthday, Iam saddened to say the food was average and the service was less than average My partner ordered a Caesar Salad , given the price of £11.84 I believe she expected it came with chicken. It did not. It would have been nice if the service staff could have asked this question at the point of sale. As a meatless salad with soggy croutons really isnt a meal. Also the chef could not even be bothered to dice the lettuce. They literally broke a single lettuce into 4 quarters and covered it in sauce. Just a terrible dinner. I wouldnt even feed it to a rabbit. The Pepperoni Pizza was not even crispy on the bottom - it was a bit soggy - I have had better pizzas from Kebab shops. We kindly asked the staff if they would bring us out a birthday cake - which they did. But sadly they did not have the experience to know that we would also required plates , forks and a knife to cut the cake. Presumable at home they must eat like the heathens of old with their hands. The service overall was very slow. The staff were polite and tried hard , however they just dont seem to have the experience. There were lots of staff on shift , but they seemed way to preoccupied with dealing with take-away orders instead. I think Frankies and Bennies should consider becoming a cheap takeaway instead of focusing on in house dining - they are no good at it and dont seem interested in training their staff whom I felt very sorry for. Then it comes to the drinks. We asked for an extra coffee - it took over 20minutes to not arrive - at which point we asked for the bill - and they tried to bill us for a coffee that was not provided. I wish the staff the best and was sad I wasnt able to tip this time. If you have a special occasion I encourage you to look elsewhere for a special time. Frankie and Bennies is a 3rd rate eatery which needs to think hard about its prioritisation between takeaway and eat in.

We had a lovely time this evening for my daughters 9th birthday. Food was delicious, staff were amazing and my daughter really enjoyed everyone singing to her and her photo frame pictures. Thank you for making her evening amazing. F&B’s continues to be a firm favourite of ours ⭐️

Terrible, party of 11, food came out cold, then reheated in the microwave, (note to restaurant, you can’t microwave chips), one meal forgotten about, at least they did take it off the bill. Waiter tried but really seemed unable to cope.

Haven’t been to Frankie & bennies for a few years but I can honestly say the food tonight was absolutely exceptional and the staff are so polite and professional but also had a little giggle with us, my two children said it was the best meal they had in a long time ☺️

Popped in for a quick Lunch today. We ordered Brooklyn bundle for £29.95 food was fresh and tasty , if anything we couldn't finish it all. Nice ambience and our waitress was accommodating. Will be back if ever in whitely village.

I just wanted to say how fantastic Olivia M at the Whitley branch was. My son and I both have allergies and Olivia couldn't have done more to help and reassure us. She double checked our orders with us showing us exactly how they were entered onto the system, explained all of the procedures carefully and made us both feel confident that our food would be safe for us to eat and wouldn't make us unwell. If possible I would like to pass on our thanks and let her know.jist how much we appreciated her help.

Our server Olivia was on point all evening, even though there were 12 of us! Nothing was missed, mistaken or wrong, all dietary needs were honoured perfectly. Absolutely flawless service and not a hint we'd stayed past closing time. Thank you to Olivia and all the team at F&B's for a fun evening.
