Frankie and Benny's in Winchester

We usually visit the fareham branch for family occasions and we always have a good experience. This time we saw that the manu had changed and some of our fave items had been removed. Please bring back a hotdog and grilled chicken burger. It doesnt have to all be fried.

Good few options for vegan's. Pizzas, mac and cheese, bean burgers and garlic bread! All very yummy and would recommend! Could do with a few more vegan options and would be nice for vegan desserts but can't fault the food we did have

We had a lovely time this evening for my daughters 9th birthday. Food was delicious, staff were amazing and my daughter really enjoyed everyone singing to her and her photo frame pictures. Thank you for making her evening amazing. F&B’s continues to be a firm favourite of ours ⭐️

I just took my 8 year son to Frankies & Bennies for his 8th Birthday, Iam saddened to say the food was average and the service was less than average My partner ordered a Caesar Salad , given the price of £11.84 I believe she expected it came with chicken. It did not. It would have been nice if the service staff could have asked this question at the point of sale. As a meatless salad with soggy croutons really isnt a meal. Also the chef could not even be bothered to dice the lettuce. They literally broke a single lettuce into 4 quarters and covered it in sauce. Just a terrible dinner. I wouldnt even feed it to a rabbit. The Pepperoni Pizza was not even crispy on the bottom - it was a bit soggy - I have had better pizzas from Kebab shops. We kindly asked the staff if they would bring us out a birthday cake - which they did. But sadly they did not have the experience to know that we would also required plates , forks and a knife to cut the cake. Presumable at home they must eat like the heathens of old with their hands. The service overall was very slow. The staff were polite and tried hard , however they just dont seem to have the experience. There were lots of staff on shift , but they seemed way to preoccupied with dealing with take-away orders instead. I think Frankies and Bennies should consider becoming a cheap takeaway instead of focusing on in house dining - they are no good at it and dont seem interested in training their staff whom I felt very sorry for. Then it comes to the drinks. We asked for an extra coffee - it took over 20minutes to not arrive - at which point we asked for the bill - and they tried to bill us for a coffee that was not provided. I wish the staff the best and was sad I wasnt able to tip this time. If you have a special occasion I encourage you to look elsewhere for a special time. Frankie and Bennies is a 3rd rate eatery which needs to think hard about its prioritisation between takeaway and eat in.

Terrible, party of 11, food came out cold, then reheated in the microwave, (note to restaurant, you can’t microwave chips), one meal forgotten about, at least they did take it off the bill. Waiter tried but really seemed unable to cope.

Haven’t been to Frankie & bennies for a few years but I can honestly say the food tonight was absolutely exceptional and the staff are so polite and professional but also had a little giggle with us, my two children said it was the best meal they had in a long time ☺️

Popped in for a quick Lunch today. We ordered Brooklyn bundle for £29.95 food was fresh and tasty , if anything we couldn't finish it all. Nice ambience and our waitress was accommodating. Will be back if ever in whitely village.

We had Olivia M and she was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and patient with allergies and intolerances. The restaurant also listened to our requests for my birthday and kept the cake for the whole day and sung happy birthday. The arabiatta with chicken was delicious also. Thank you!

My son, pickiest thing on the planet, calls it the Yumster restaurant after our visit yesterday. He wants us to only go there when we go out.

I just wanted to say how fantastic Olivia M at the Whitley branch was. My son and I both have allergies and Olivia couldn't have done more to help and reassure us. She double checked our orders with us showing us exactly how they were entered onto the system, explained all of the procedures carefully and made us both feel confident that our food would be safe for us to eat and wouldn't make us unwell. If possible I would like to pass on our thanks and let her know.jist how much we appreciated her help.

Our server Olivia was on point all evening, even though there were 12 of us! Nothing was missed, mistaken or wrong, all dietary needs were honoured perfectly. Absolutely flawless service and not a hint we'd stayed past closing time. Thank you to Olivia and all the team at F&B's for a fun evening.

Very disappointed. 100% more expensive than Wether spoons and 50% more expensive than Harvester. 40 minutes from ordering to get a meal. Restrictions on what you can order. Chicken breast and steak skewer only available with a full salad. No salad bar or free refills. Waitress fine . Won't go again. When you have a table for 9 and spend over £100. I would expect more . Definitely not recommended by me.

Not eaten in a frankie and bennys for a while so as part of our day out and after hours of shopping went in for some food. I had the frankie feaster. Chicken wings were well overcooked, well cremated would describe them.Steak skewer not nice at all. Chicken goujons hard and dry. Basically all the food, including fries overcooked. My mum had salmon, but it was beyond dry, burnt and had no flavour. My son had ribs which tbf were fine but not his fries. Milkshake was lovely. Staff very friendly and did offer to redo my food....but you can't get it right first time when quiet. I didn't see any point waiting. They did give a discount of £12 on the bill. Overall, I wish I had just eaten at home or grabbed a burger king or went to the harvester. Wont be using frankie and bennys again, unfortunately.

Really nice Frankie and Benny’s. We had vegan pizza and garlic pizza bread which was exceptional. My grandma had the southern fried chicken - also very good. Nice atmosphere and nice service.

I've been here for weekday lunch on my own a few times now, and I must say I love it. The team always makes me feel welcome. Dining alone can feel a bit awkward sometimes, but not here. They've always found me a nice little booth seat where it doesn't look odd to sit on your own. The food is good - classic American-inspired fare with several vegetarian options. I had a halloumi wrap with avocado and sriracha, and some sweet potato fries. All was good and arrived without delay. Nice atmosphere, and the staff are very attentive (my receipt said Samantha so I think she was the lady who looked after me - super lovely and helpful). Will visit again for a solo lunch date!

Just happened to call in to see if they could cater for 9 after being let down by The Harvester, Whitely, I can only say the service was absolutely fantastic, the food was delicious and plenty of it. It was my sons 18th Birthday and the Fareham team saved the day. Dylan was our server and he was so attentive, well done! We will definitely be returning.

Stake for £21 was like kids portion and few tiny chips , overall food quality poor , I asked to change the portion they said they couldn’t do it , the offers some left over meet whom I was scared to eat because was smelling , see picture

My partner and i came in today, I had the ribs which were quite good and my wife had salmon which was also good, Our service was great and Victoria our server was very pleasant.

Children’s food bought out 20 minutes before our own so he’d finished by the time we’d started and had to sit and watch us eat. Because that never upset a child, right? We ended up having to cut an extra portion of beans. Myself and a friend ordered two burgers, they sat on the pass for 10 minutes while the servers argued over which table they went to. Will not be returning here

Had a lovely meal whilst out doing a bit of shopping, Sammy our server was lovely from the second we walked in, a massive smile on her face with a great personality, nothing was too much trouble. Will be back again

Very disappointed, had to wait 10min before being asked if we wanted a drink , pleasant young server apologised as didn't see us .drinks glasses were dirty . Bolognaise was watery and not much taste. Dirty dog was nice . Wanted a super shake but was told they were running low on milk so couldn't have one 🤨. All in all couldn't recommend.

Came out for a lovely family lunch, but was totally disappointed with the food. I ordered a steak, as I like my steak blue, I understand it will be cold but when the food came out the plate was cold, the chips, onion rings, mushrooms, and tomato were stone cold. Not happy. After a little moan I was given 50% off which I was grateful for. I would like to recommend them to have hot plates to help keep the food warm.

Waited for about 50 minutes for food to arrive not told about the wait time for food . when the food arrived it was cold my hot dog was sat on side a good 15 minutes under heat light until other meals were ready. Then when I said I didn’t want it staff didn’t say anything to me like sorry!!! The young lady that served us before came over to say sorry Which I did say it’s not her fault she asked me if I wanted a new meal I said no as I was watching the food on side sitting there for a long time.The other food came to the table cold not even warm!!!! Very disappointing No manager came to see us about anything We paid for drinks and garlic bread. With no sorry Will not recommend this restaurant

Came eve 13/02- had Dylan who was lovely! Great service and huge portions. Great place to quickly pop in before the cinema. Had a few starters and the nduja Mac& cheese that was great! The chicken wings were super dry though so would avoid those.

Has had some great meals with family in the past that's why I chose it for our work Xmas do. However they made me regret it. Despite their insistence on pre-odering my meal and confirming it upon arrival my food was almost an hour later than the rest if my dinner party. Food came out very late and it was cold. No apology or explanation was offered by the waitress. Very disappointing. 👎🏻

Good gluten free menu options, but pizza wasn't cooked properly so was sent back to be cooked again. Not 5 star service as were not offered free drinks for the fact we had to both eat our mains at different times. This was a final meal before my friend went back to New Zealand, real shame.

Service was OK from the waitress herself but we preordained meals for a big team lunch and several were missing. Some of the food had to be sent back because the salmon was rock hard. The fettuccine tastes like someone just mixed a tin of chopped tomatoes with pasta. Honestly just awful tbh. Wasn't even that busy so there was no excuse. Really poor quality.

We visited here specially for their lunchtime deal which is valid up to 5pm. It is really good value for what you get. We had 2 courses which were really tasty and flavourful that cost £12.90. For starters, we had the potato skins which were served with a pot of sour cream which were good and the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella which was really good! The dough was really soft and fluffy. It also had plenty of garlic and mozzarella on top which made for a really delicious starter! I highly recommend that! We then ordered our pizzas for our main. The pepperoni pizza was really moist and had lots of pepperoni. Again, the dough was soft, light, and airy with lots of flavour! The portion sizes are very good, I definitely left full. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The serving team were also friendly and pleasant. I would definitely return again. Tasty food with good portions at good prices!

Had early evening meal last night in Whitley. Best customer service ever had in Frankie and Bennys. Can't remember name of female server but was on table 14. She was friendly, polite and attentive. She should be commended.
