We had a lovely time at the Fareham restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere was very friendly. The restaurant was also very clean.

Very disappointed, had to wait 10min before being asked if we wanted a drink , pleasant young server apologised as didn't see us .drinks glasses were dirty . Bolognaise was watery and not much taste. Dirty dog was nice . Wanted a super shake but was told they were running low on milk so couldn't have one 🤨. All in all couldn't recommend.

Walk in, group of 7, all hungry, all well fed by the end! Attentive server.

Came out for a lovely family lunch, but was totally disappointed with the food. I ordered a steak, as I like my steak blue, I understand it will be cold but when the food came out the plate was cold, the chips, onion rings, mushrooms, and tomato were stone cold. Not happy. After a little moan I was given 50% off which I was grateful for. I would like to recommend them to have hot plates to help keep the food warm.

We came in off the cuff and it was quite busy but we were welcomed and shown to our table quickly. Everything was ordered fast and delivered without delay…the food was delicious and very good value for money

Waited for about 50 minutes for food to arrive not told about the wait time for food . when the food arrived it was cold my hot dog was sat on side a good 15 minutes under heat light until other meals were ready. Then when I said I didn’t want it staff didn’t say anything to me like sorry!!! The young lady that served us before came over to say sorry Which I did say it’s not her fault she asked me if I wanted a new meal I said no as I was watching the food on side sitting there for a long time.The other food came to the table cold not even warm!!!! Very disappointing No manager came to see us about anything We paid for drinks and garlic bread. With no sorry Will not recommend this restaurant

From start to finish we had a fantastic time. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had any allergies. Sat us down in a both which wad lovely. Came eve 13/02- had Dylan who was lovely! Great service and huge portions. Great place to quickly pop in before the cinema. Had a few starters and the nduja Mac& cheese that was great! The chicken wings were super dry though so would avoid those.

Has had some great meals with family in the past that's why I chose it for our work Xmas do. However they made me regret it. Despite their insistence on pre-odering my meal and confirming it upon arrival my food was almost an hour later than the rest if my dinner party. Food came out very late and it was cold. No apology or explanation was offered by the waitress. Very disappointing. 👎🏻

Great food excellent for a nice meal out with the family

Great gluten free menu, however portion sizes on the small side. Our waiter was attentive even when busy with other patrons. We had a lovely time.

My son, pickiest thing on the planet, calls it the Yumster restaurant after our visit yesterday. He wants us to only go there when we go out.

Good gluten free menu options, but pizza wasn't cooked properly so was sent back to be cooked again. Not 5 star service as were not offered free drinks for the fact we had to both eat our mains at different times. This was a final meal before my friend went back to New Zealand, real shame.

Service was OK from the waitress herself but we preordained meals for a big team lunch and several were missing. Some of the food had to be sent back because the salmon was rock hard. The fettuccine tastes like someone just mixed a tin of chopped tomatoes with pasta. Honestly just awful tbh. Wasn't even that busy so there was no excuse. Really poor quality.

We visited here specially for their lunchtime deal which is valid up to 5pm. It is really good value for what you get. We had 2 courses which were really tasty and flavourful that cost £12.90. For starters, we had the potato skins which were served with a pot of sour cream which were good and the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella which was really good! The dough was really soft and fluffy. It also had plenty of garlic and mozzarella on top which made for a really delicious starter! I highly recommend that! We then ordered our pizzas for our main. The pepperoni pizza was really moist and had lots of pepperoni. Again, the dough was soft, light, and airy with lots of flavour! The portion sizes are very good, I definitely left full. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The serving team were also friendly and pleasant. I would definitely return again. Tasty food with good portions at good prices!

Had early evening meal last night in Whitley. Best customer service ever had in Frankie and Bennys. Can't remember name of female server but was on table 14. She was friendly, polite and attentive. She should be commended.

Went out for light meal, jacket potatoes and calamari- was great, tried rhubarb gin for first time. Watron was excellent.

We went here yesterday 22/10/23 for an 18th birthday party, unfortunately the food was not great my chicken was tough and like rubber and the totally forgot my wife’s meal and the extra onion rings , by the time she got her meal we had finished also as it was booked we should have received a free milkshake drink for the birthday girl never happened

Had lunch here recently, fantastic food and service. Booked a table in advance and were seated in a nice booth. As we walked past staff they said hello which was a nice touch. We all ordered different food, and it all came together, piping hot, fresh and very tasty, everything ordered was spot on even all the changes / additions were correct. Can’t not fault the restaurant, staff or the service. Absolutely on it. Thank you. Loads of free parking right outside (well 4 hours free) easy access for people with mobility issues, and toilets inside. Overall, personally I think there is a good selection of food, my only observation is the cost of the deserts, which put us off…. I didn’t see any, so not sure what you get for your money to be fair.

My macaroni cheese was inedible and should never have left the kitchen. It was replaced but no sincere apology was forthcoming. I have second thoughts about returning.

Service was friendly but food took a long time to come out. From where I was sat I could see it sat on the side and other plates were also waiting. Even the pizza chef was getting annoyed. It seemed as if no one wanted to serve. It eventually appeared that the manager was trying to match the plates with orders as no one really knew what was going on. When our food did arrive we were told to be careful of the plates as they were hot, straight out of the oven. It was a blatant lie given they were only warm and I had been watching food just sit there. The food was only just warm enough and for what it cost it wasn't great really. We paid our bill and left to go to Tesco to buy dessert s none of is wished to stay there any longer and wait forever for any more orders. Very disappointed in what we were hoping would be a nice meal out.

Good food friendly and efficient service at a reasonable price

Went late afternoon on a Sunday, very welcoming team, food was served in good time, great portion size and was delicious. Very well looked after and we left very happy.

When in for dinner while visiting the area. We were greeted by Ryan, I believe he was the manager, and shown to a table. Ryan was very friendly and helpful and we enjoy some banter with him about my husband doing the kids puzzles. We shares a cheesy pizza bread and both had the spaghetti and meatballs which were served quickly and hot. The food was tasty to. Will visit again when we’re in the area next time

Service and food was distinctly average.

Excellent food and service. The rack of ribs were beautiful and fell off the bone. The lasagna was rich and the kids pasta was nice but bit too strong in flavour. Very helpful waiter moved tables for us Espresso martini was also lush 😋

Pop in on the way to the airport and it was very good, fast service and helpfull staff with great food. Even the loos where clean. Very impressive!

Popped in for a late Saturday lunch. No need to book...busy enough to create a good atmosphere though. Service was good (quick and friendly). Food good too. We had the ribs, chicken burger and dirty dogs. Had an extensive gluten free menu too. Would recommend and come again.

I do like Fankie and Benny's but like most places prices go up and service wanders. Chicken strip starters a little dry and the Calamari over cooked and crunchy. The pizza is just an expensive pizza. Meatballs were lovely, really enjoyed them. I will return when I'm flush after a pay day :-)

We took my husbands daughter here to celebrate her first job . The service was good . Food arrived on time and was hot . Drinks were great . It was rather warm sat by the kitchen. Puddings were yummy .

We stopped going to Frankie & Benny’s we first went with our little baby and the lady from the reception said that she can't accommodate us because our pram would be taking too much of their space. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. We used to love their place and the food, but with such staff, I’d better go somewhere else.

7 of us for dinner and the food was awful. Chicken was incredibly dry and the size of the portions was small. Ordered a gluten free burger, came in a poppy seeded bun with a jacket potato. No salad or even butter with the JP and it was undercooked. Service wasn't great despite them not being that busy. Bill came to £180 which I wouldn't normally mind but the food was not to their usual standard. Won't be returning anytime soon

Absolutely awful. This was our first and last visit. Our drinks took forever to come (an hour after ordering), we then had to ask what had happened to our food, and when it did eventually arrive (with a further request for cutlery), it was cold and of very poor quality. The staff are unattentive and are clearly embarrassed with the restaurant. They appear to have lost all enthusiasm they might once have had. In summary, overpriced rubbish.

We came on the spur of the moment, 2 adults and 4 children. The kids meal was great value and the adult meals were ok. I had the salad bowl and at £14, for the size of it, it felt a little expensive. However we didn't know they had an offer of 241 on adult meals, so just under £60 for us all was a bargain. Would go back but only if an offer was on.

Food was stone cold when arrived, service was slow, and the atmosphere was noisy.

Family of six, been coming here for around 6-7 years. I was not impressed with the menu after the last visit. Mixed grill is gone, replaced by some bbq thing that is 50% more money and No ice cream Sundae's on the dessert menu. Would have been back this month but going to try somewhere else this time

Frankie and benny restaurant. We booked so did not have to wait In This empty restaurant. Our server was very polite and quick. However the management was very rude and lacked interpersonal skills. I observed her speaking down to the young servers and customers including myself. I would not return to this restaurant.

Went to Frankie and Benny’s after visiting the coast of Whiteley…and this experience was so outstanding I decided to take this to tripadvisor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!This Frankie and Benny’s was a proper Italian/American Frankie and Benny’s.It had a great atmosphere,good decor and I loved the floors and the ceiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!Also they had an absolutely massive air conditioning unit at the top of the ceiling (probably bigger than the restaurant)so the restaurant was very cool which was amazing especially as it was 31 degrees outside!!!!!!!!!!Also toilets were very good too,very clean and I loved the newspaper at the top of the walls as well which looked very cool from the New York Times.Also food was fantastic as well all served piping hot,my potato skins tasted different to usual but still absolutely delicious and also my pizza was absolutely lovely as well.The service was fantastic as well,staff were friendly and fun and also the service was speedy as well the waitress came over to order drinks litureally seconds after we sat down,also drinks came in 2 minutes and starters came in 5 minutes which was great mains were a bit slow to come but it was no problem atal.Also my salted caramel milkshake was amazing,you could taste everything in it,the lovely ice cream in it and the beautiful whipped cream put on the top.Also cleanliness was fantastic as well.Wasnt too busy either which was good as this made the atmosphere more relaxed and also there were actually more people in the bar than in the restaurant itself.Probably the best Frankie and Benny’s meal I’ve ever had,can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic meal at Frankie and Benny’s today,Probably the best meal at Frankie and Benny’s ever!!!!!!!The food,service,atmosphere and everything was amazing.This was a proper Frankie and Benny’s,loved all the little touches such as the wipes,the Italian recipes and the biggest glass I’ve ever had of lemonade at Frankie and Benny’s.Also portions were generous too and starters we’re probably some of the best starters I’ve ever had.

Went to have lunch on Monday 5th June. Attracted to restaurant at Whiteley because offered 20% off for NHS staff. Showed my NHS ID card and when reviewed bill for £47 I had £0.54 discount on the meal. Not the 20% as advertised on board outside restaurant. I spoke to manager who informed me that the 20% did not apply to lunch time nor evening menus. I said where does this show this exclusion as did not appear on the menu even in small print on the menu!! Photo attached. She said it was on the menu! I asked her to provide the menu that said this. She went off and 5 minutes later came back with her phone saying was on the website. I explained it should be clear on the menu! She said that lunch time menu and evening menu excluded from offer. I asked why I had £0.54 discount? She explained that this was 20% for the added chicken on the Mediterranean salad menu. I asked why discount applied to that chicken when on the same menu she said was excluded from the 20% deal?!?! She then changed her mind and said it was a mistake by waitress and shouldn’t have been applied so changed her story. I explained this needed to be clearer as not clear on the advertising board outside the restaurant!! She said it is clear on the board that menus for lunch and dinner are excluded. Photo attracted here to prove it doesn’t have any reference on the board. This is false representation in my opinion. She didn’t even know what was on her board for which she is the manger. Manager refused to provide her name when I asked for email to write to complain to company. She said she was the manager though. I said this was so misleading she must have had others complaining and she said no. At this point a lady standing behind me wanting to complain about exactly the same issues as she too was NHS. This is totally misleading. Nothing on the advertising board outside. Nothing on the printed lunch or dinner menu. Be careful eating here if NHS, police, military as offer has exclusions on menus that are not made clear. I have eaten here many times over the past 8 years regularly as live locally. For the sake of their misrepresentation of offers, offering 20% discount on this meal, £8, they have lost a regular customer and would never recommend them in future. The manage was confrontational. Rude. Dismissive and frankly was wrong saying said was on the menu and the advertising board. Sadly she appeared to know this but was arrogant in her dealing with a genuine customer complaint. At no time was I abusive swore nor rude. I just sought clarify on their so called offer and asked her for evidence of this offers exclusions. I would give 0 stars if I could on TrustPilot.

Overpriced. Wrong food delivered. Freezing cold, no idea why they suddenly turned the air con up part way through the evening. Oh, and what's with deafening everyone with happy birthday??? Fortunately there are many other places to eat, which is where you'll find me.

They have brought back, to much fanfare and frivolity, some menu items from 2003. Unsurprisingly, the 2003 prices did not make the journey but the calzone was OK.

Starter was too salty and covered in chucks of salt. Pizza I ordered had no taste. Services for food to come out was incredibly slow. Staff were very friendly. For a restaurant whose bread and butter is comfort food expect the food to come out at a reasonable pace and have some taste.

Probably what I should have expected from a Frankie and Bennys. I was hoping for quick and efficient service and mediocre food. Portions were massive (bordering on American) but the quality was nominal. It took nearly an hour from ordering to arrival at the table. Reasonable value for money but not a meal I could say I enjoyed. It’s a meal I ate because I was hungry and needed it. I don’t know I would stop again.

Food gone down hill since last time I visited, nothing is freshly made can't even heat pasta up properly had to send 2 dishes back because they were stone cold in the middle.

Just a bit pricey. Foods ok. But not for the full price. I used the 3 two for £10. So for that excellent. But if I had to pay the full price of £33 for a hot dog and a pizza????

Had lunch here in Whitely last Saturday with my wife and the three kids, the service was fantastic and we didn’t have long at all for our food to get served to us. My son has a food intolerance and they went out of their way to ensure everything he had was safe for him to eat. Parking was also very easy and right next to the shops. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

worst service ever started taking plates away when people still eating wow , the burger has changed from higher quality to cheap and nasty had no tomato's in there just mayo and letters was so bad and every dead inside chips were fine and pudding was good just bad service and burger for 3 of use me and one other did not like the food he had pizza was under cooked base
