The best restaurants in England

This is the best place to be in East London! We love it! The bar staff and owners are lovely and make the pub a huge part of the community! Cannot wait to return!

We order regularly from Lupo and it’s always fantastic…except today!! Not only was my food terrible when I phoned to speak to the manager he was rude and not willing to listen to what I said. Has now put me in a position as I feel like I don’t want to order from them again with an owner who doesn’t take criticism well.

We would TOTALLY agree with the One review. A gem of a find. It has been a very long time since we have enjoyed such finger-licking (yes, we had the tiger prawns; exceptional, as were the samosas!) unpretentious, tasty, expertly prepared, top quality food, for a very reasonable price. All freshly prepared, as we waited. Met with a warm welcome, with an abundance of enthusiasm to check we were enjoying our flavoursome Portuguese fayre. Our taste buds had a full workout! Our hosts are rightfully proud of their mama’s culinary skills and the evident love and care she lavishes on her creations. The menu is simple, but powerful. We will definitely be back for more. Just a bus ride from Leicester, small and cosy place to eat for a breakfast, which we did, and had their pancakes and chocolate and hazlenuts. Enjoyed it so much we went back (we had time to kill in Barwell!) for lunch and had a lovely rustic lunch. Tasted excellent, portion sizes just right. Nice and fresh food, great service. Enjoyed our two visits in the one day very much. Would definitely return.

Forty5 is hidden away in the outskirts of Cheltenham but by far the best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was perfection, cooked by the very talented Gareth who came to talk us through his menu. The restaurant is in peaceful surroundings, and was lovely and quiet, for those of us who like to chat while we eat. Cocktails in the bar beforehand were also delightful. Highly recommended!

Superb anniversary surprise. Every tiny detail of this evening has been excellent. The food, drink and service all 5 stars. I would say Furna deserves the best in Brighton and possibly Sussex accolade. The team couldn’t do more to make our evening memorable. Can’t wait to return.

We had a Travelzoo voucher for a 3-course meal. Booking was polite and friendly. Plus confirmation email (bonus as sometimes I forget)! Staff were very attentive, and all questions answered in a very courteous manner. Meal and drinks alike were superb. Would definitely go again.

We came for a walk down the canal after finding this place on google maps. Decided to pop in for some lunch, got a window seat next to the canal in the sunshine Very nice staff and lovely fairy lights and flowers, nicely decorated Plenty of space to park next to the restaurant Some seating outside

This new restaurant/take away is brilliant. All home made from sandwiches and cakes to full English breakfasts. I had the Sausage and Bacon roll, which comes with proper Lincolnshire Sausages. The roll was stuffed and extreemly tasty. The staff were bubbly and friendly. I will be returning at least once a week for my breakfast and hopefully more meals inthe future. Highly recommend. When I popped in around 10:30am the restaurant was packed, not a single seat available. I only wanted takeaway anyway and the service was fast. This new place will be one I frequently visit and so should you.....

Family run, extremely friendly and absolutely fabulous! The food is amazing as are the owners. If you live in Hoylake or you’re visiting then the Hut is an absolute must! We love it and you will too.

We live very close to the cambap people, and they never fail to deliver amazing food. We've easily ordered 5 or more times, and every time they are ready in the time promised, the food is warm and delicious, and the people who hand it out are friendly. For what seems like a family business, it is amazing. I can especially recommend the bibimbap with gochujang and the spicy tuna rolls, which are bursting with interesting texture and great flavor! 👍👍 👍

As always a 5 star takeaway ! Consistently good quality tasty food. Love the yellow curry and look forward to when pad si ew becomes available as that will be amazing. Topped off by a delivery by the nicest chap ever ! ( also consistently lovely)

Over the last few months, I have been regularly ordering my healthy meals to help me maintain my diet and fitness plan. Due to my busy schedule at work, I find it very easy to collect my meals on a monthly basis and saves a lot of cooking time! Each meal has its own individual taste freshly cooked and a wide variety of options on the menu that you can choose from. After defrosting my meals, they still test as good as fresh. I will highly recommend to try these meals, especially if you are trying to gain weight lose weight or have some kind of fitness plan as it will save you from cooking and hundred percent keep you throughout the days and weeks during your diet fitness journey. The meals do test like frozen meals or any other meals I’ve tried before they actually taste like home-cooked meals which is the main reason why I keep ordering on a monthly basis. Service has been brilliant! 🤩
