Blakey’s in County Durham

Found this cafe a couple of weeks ago and I have already been 3 times. Food quality is excellent and always great service.

We called for hot drinks to fill in time befor going to the cinema. The staff were helpful, our tea and cofee were very good and delivered promptly. All good. A couple wree having meals and they looked delicious - we'll be back!

Popped in here with friends prices are really Cheap and the food is definitely 100% homemade I’d recommend to anyone wanting a place to sit and relax.

Family run local business,food is absolutely gorgeous and plenty of choice, friendly welcoming staff. Lovely clean shop.

This little family owned restaurant is perfect for everyone. The best is their Sunday dinner which we’ve ordered a few times and they have great prices. The owner and staff are very friendly and they create a generally great atmosphere in the restaurant.

Lovely food and very generous portions had a nice takeaway roast Sunday lunch and my daughter had the mince and dumplings we will be returning

Having read the other reviews I’m inclined to agree that the food is very good but then I only had a Bacon Buttie, a piece of cake and a nice cup of tea High didn’t break the bank! Top marks, however in all honesty I can’t give the place a 5* rating just because of it’s a little tired inside, would I go back? Damn right I would it’s one of the best Bacon butties I’ve had!!! I’d give it an 8-9 out of 10 and is Very Good.

Got x large dinner to take for my mam dads dinner at stanley was lovely both them enjoyed it my mam who always cooks her own but due to not feeling well l thought this be nice idea my mam said was a lovely dinner

Excellent quality, homemade lunch and healthy too! Very good value for money! We had dishes from the Lunch Specials, cooked to order.

Fresh homemade food made , to eat in ...takeaway or delivery . We ordered Sunday lunch, which we had delivered...beef with fresh veg and homemade yorkshires... mash and roast potatoes.Value for money ! Nice friendly owners and staff too.

Great Food, helpful Staff, Lovely owners Dinners are fab had them many times. Good sized & prices are very reasonable. Had a dessert a couple of times there excellent too!!

Went today for full English was really nice couldn't fault it at all. The owner was really friendly too.will definitely be back keep up the good work
