He comido varias veces aquí y es el mejor chipy alrededor.

Food tasted good but had to wait an extra 45 mins for delivery and all food was cold 🥶 I would order again as this was a first time experience just to see if thae same thing happens again gutted and didn’t enjoy eating it after waiting so long

We were made very welcome in front of the fire. We have a well behaved golden doodle dog who settled down and slept while we had tea gluten free burger and chips. Medium cod and scampi combo. They gave the chips from this to my husband as he loves extra chips. It is licensed It is small and the young man who served us was very sociable

Ci siamo fermati per una cena veloce a fine vacanza, purtroppo abbiamo dovuto cenare fuori dal locale perché il cane non poteva entrare (nonostante non fosse specificato con cartelli) e per tutta la cena i figli dei proprietari ci hanno disturbato spaventando il nostro cane facendo scoppiare palloncini e prendendoci in giro nonostante gli avessimo detto ripetutamente di smettere. Poiché nessun adulto è intervenuto nonostante fosse palese il nostro disagio, abbiamo lasciato il locale prima di finire di mangiare. Il cibo di scarsa qualità: le patatine molto probabilmente riscaldate e non preparate sul momento.

Too dry and chewy fish cake and chips. Wish I'd gone to colmans. Chucked most of them away. Wouldn't go again

Pedido pescado y patatas fritas grandes más 1 cordero hecho kebab. tanto el pescado como las patatas fritas salieron pequeños y saben asqueroso. La carne de kebab estaba completamente fría. le dio el kebab al perro e incluso el perro se alejó de él. Justo hoy volví a decirle al hombre 1 sobre estar sobrecargado y 2 la carne estaba fría pensando que apreciaría mi respeto al hablar con él sin clientes alrededor, pero su actitud era totalmente repugnante también. Recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que evite esta tienda de patatas fritas sobrepreciosas y de mala calidad. Si el hombre tuviera más modales sobre él, lo dejarías pasar, pero he estado entrando aquí más tiempo del que él mismo ha estado allí. También mis amigos se han quejado de la actitud de este hombre. Espero que esto ayude a todos

Best and Freshest Whelks Ive had for a while and we travel to a seaside destination everyweek and get seafood and ice cream. I lovely lady served me and this is my Dover go to place for Seafood from now on. Very reasonable prices a buy by the pint here which is rare now. Highly recommended!

We had passed by many times but decided to call in for an early evening meal. The Good - the menu is based on what is served in the adjoining Fish & Chip shop. The Bad - service was slow and the food was excessively greasy. The Ugly - the seats are uncomfortable, blue & pink flourescent lighting is a bit nausea inducing and the background music was not in the background but almost killed conversation. An interesting experience but I doubt we'll repeat it.

Terrible waited around 15/20 mins for fish ,tinned roe was very fishy taste chips was all most cold .in all waste off money!!

Chips were almost cold and didn’t look barely cooked. Got charged for a pickle I never got and this has happened everytime I have been in the shop. Chicken batter was greasy and not pleasant but the cheesy chips are advertised as cheese and cheese sauce, no cheese sauce and the chips were dry and almost undercooked. I’ve been to the chippy maybe 4 times over the past couple years as I want it to be nice but it just isn’t and it’s quailty of food is crap. Hate to be the one to say it but very poor and always has been, real shame I want them to be really good but just hasn’t been ever.

We chose a good selection of different food for our group of 8. The battered haggis was super tasty and an unusual find in an English fish and chip shop. The cod was delicious and really generous portions sizes. The chicken nuggets were tasty and the fish cake really moist and delicious. Generous portions of traditional chips and really tasty mushy peas, gravy and curry sauce. Good prices and very friendly staff. The best fish and chip shop locally!

I ordered some fish and chips with curry sauce for collection and the staff was very polite and understanding . The food was hot .
