The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

we thought we would give this fish and chip shop a go, but we will not be going back the fish should have been medium more like small and batter was very hard like it been sitting around for a while, not freshly cooked..The chips were also a small portion and loads of very small hard bits. We have eaten fish and chips in loads of places around the country and this was one of the worst and the most expensive,

Me and my friend when’s two days running getting different stuff to eat I saw his fish and had to go the second day to try this as it looked amazing and cooked fresh to so I did and I want let down the best fish and chips I’ve had in ages and would definitely recommend to everyone to go there .

Food tasted good but had to wait an extra 45 mins for delivery and all food was cold 🥶 I would order again as this was a first time experience just to see if thae same thing happens again gutted and didn’t enjoy eating it after waiting so long

The chips were hot and plentiful , but that's where the good stuff ends, they were very dry and chrunchie ,it was early lunchtime so I can't see why they were like this , but that's not how chips are supposed to be

We were made very welcome in front of the fire. We have a well behaved golden doodle dog who settled down and slept while we had tea gluten free burger and chips. Medium cod and scampi combo. They gave the chips from this to my husband as he loves extra chips. It is licensed It is small and the young man who served us was very sociable

Ci siamo fermati per una cena veloce a fine vacanza, purtroppo abbiamo dovuto cenare fuori dal locale perché il cane non poteva entrare (nonostante non fosse specificato con cartelli) e per tutta la cena i figli dei proprietari ci hanno disturbato spaventando il nostro cane facendo scoppiare palloncini e prendendoci in giro nonostante gli avessimo detto ripetutamente di smettere. Poiché nessun adulto è intervenuto nonostante fosse palese il nostro disagio, abbiamo lasciato il locale prima di finire di mangiare. Il cibo di scarsa qualità: le patatine molto probabilmente riscaldate e non preparate sul momento.

One of the best chip shops in Clacton and I’ve tried quite a few over the years I’ve lived here. Never had a bad meal, a greasy one, always nicely cooked and the family who run it are lovely. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Tried to order online at 8pm as the website said they were open till 10, but minutes later got a message from Just Eat saying the restaurant had cancelled the order. Clearly they are busy enough to not need more customers!

Best and Freshest Whelks Ive had for a while and we travel to a seaside destination everyweek and get seafood and ice cream. I lovely lady served me and this is my Dover go to place for Seafood from now on. Very reasonable prices a buy by the pint here which is rare now. Highly recommended!

On the spur of the moment, I called in for a fish in a barm. Amazing, freshly fried piece of fish in a barm cake. Superb value Will definitely return

Ordered large fish and chips plus 1 lamb done kebab.both fish and chips came out small and taste disgusting.Kebab meat was completely cold.gave the kebab to the dog and even the dog walked away from it. Just today I went back in to tell the man 1 about being over charged and 2 the meat was cold thinking that he would appreciate my respect by talking to him without customers around but his attitude was totally disgusting too. I highly recommend to anyone to avoid this over priced and poor quality food chip shop. Had the man had a little more manners about him you would just let it go but I been going in here longer than he himself has been there. Also friends of mine has complained about this man's attitude. Too dry and chewy fish cake and chips. Wish I'd gone to colmans. Chucked most of them away. Wouldn't go again
