ordered kabab meat and chips at around 5pm and lets just say it was the worst i have ever had will never go again meat was from the lunch time no freshness 2/10 needs shutting what a waste of money

horrible manky food left over from day before and re heated and rip off prices so go elsewhere as must be better

Didn't fancy cooking so popped to Ocean Breeze, a short walk from where I live. The place was busy and there was a queue. When I got served, there was some confusion over my order. I asked for 2 spring rolls but this was taken as 2 tinned roe. It was only when I was asked would I like salt and vinegar on my roe did this confusion come to light. I would have to wait further for my spring rolls which I agreed to. What with the background noise and the perspex screen on the counter, I could easily understand how my order was misheard. There was already a wait as there had been a rush on kebabs and the meat wasn't quite ready. The young lady who served me was told to reimburse me because I'd waited sometime. I initially refused the refund but she was insistent. It went straight in the poppy tin on the counter, in full view of staff and customers. The wait was unfortunate but wasn't that bad. The staff in Ocean Breeze are very friendly and efficient. They seem to cook the less popular items on request rather than have them ready prepared and sitting in the hot plate, which can mean a wait for customers. My refund was a very good gesture, great customer service. My food was very good. I don't visit chip shops that often, but I will certainly return to Ocean Breeze

I would normally give this chip shop a five star review but the last couple of times I’ve been the fish are lovely as normally but the chips the last few times I’ve been including today the 2/5/2020 looked and tasted like they had been warmed up over and over again really horrible chips

Lovely fish ,but the chips were manky looked as if they had been left over from lunch time,not very good at all.i would be ok if it was a cheap meal but it isn’t any more,think twice before we use there again.

Fish an chips .no fish in the batter fish looks like it cum out ov at box M not good do not eat here. Chips were cold .curry sauce woz watery,saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave ya. Monnnnnnnnnnnnney go sum were elsewhere

I started going there cause our own chip shop had gone down hill on Saturday the 29 dec2018 i went to the ocean breeze asked for a large kebab but when I got it it looked like an extra small one hardly any meat on it the pits bread was over half empty i had to ask the girl again is that a large one she said yes on any other occasion the pita bread would have been full there was nothing in it the owners are away for the holiday this is a great chip shop but the girl with the tattoos need looking at didn't even smile i asked her three times is that a large kebab she said yes all the time I knew it wasn't i won't go there again if she's behind the counter any other time I would have given this p!ace five star all the way round but not on this occasion she was probably try to save enough kebab meat to have a free one her self very disappointed on this occasion

Always seem to be waiting for chips to cook, and always seems to be a queue.... Food is nice but service is slow.

excellent fish shop and value for money,,the parking is a little bit of a problem as very busy main road and not much space

I Popped in because I fancied some nice Battered Chips & that is Exactly what I got and the Male Server was Nice & Friendly!.

I fancied fish and chips on the way home after a long day. There where some fish portions in the heated cabinet which didnt look to apperising owing to what looked a soggy bland batter. I deceided to have just plain chips, which wasnt a problem for me. Unfortunatley when I got home the chips had been cooked in dirty oil and tasted burnt the chips where coverd in black bits and spoilt what I had been looking forward to. But never mind there are plenty of other fish and chips around. Shame as it was a generous portion (I wonder why)

Dropped in on the way home and I fncoed a piece of fish. I asked if I could have one of the mini fish and I was told that that wasn't a mini fish it was a full priced fish, to which I said that can't be right. I was then told by the rather unpolite lady behind the counter that where ever I'd been buying my fish from that they were doing over sized portions. I never had this problem with previous owners. first rule of business, customer is always right, don't get ratty with them it's bad for business!!

Great value, I regularly have the 8 fish bites (which are very large) and large chips, feeds two of us for less then a fiver

Great service, the prices are good too, where else can you get decent size fishbites for just £2? Ideal for if you are on a very tight budget (like me) but still want a chippie tea now and then! The staff are lovely and very friendly.

a must beautiful fish is that fresh its flakes off great service ...excellent must recommend ...top service always get it right

Used this place many times great food awesome chips portion sizes nice and large all round good place. Staff are friendly too! Can't fault it!
