I went there just to buy some cheesy chips. As you can see, they look disgusting. The taste was awful, I could smell and taste oil and the chips were not fresh! I felt nauseous the whole day, hope to not be sick

Wrong pie chicken and mushroom not balti and no chips. Pie dried out and hard.

Food came late and was cold. Chips were crispy and awful, didn’t have any salt and vinegar. The garlic bread was tiny and rubbery, was inedible. The pizza was chewy and tasted undercooked. They missed off the garlic dips that you have to pay extra for and a bottle of Dr Pepper. Rang up to explain and the person on the phone didn’t understand what we were trying to say! Have taken it up with just eat instead. Never again. We will go elsewhere

After 2 hours food was delivered cold and crushed inedible won’t be ordering again

Phoned multiple times they kept changing delivery it’s stone cold they were extremely rude over the phone hanging up not telling us the time of how long

Food was stone cold! We ordered a pizza & fries and they were both cold. I had to heat pizza up in the microwave. Fries went in the bin! It said food on the way & it was like 30 mins until the food came (takeaway is 5 mins away) I’m really disappointed..

Never arrived Called shop and was told was on way! I never gave he delivery code to anyone so the driver must of put it in himself and confirmed a drop off when he didn’t make one

I recived an 8 slice pizza instead of 12 slices not too upset about that but the cake I had ordered did not come with my food so quite unhappy about that as it always comes.

they sent me wrong meals out 2 so I will not be ordering them again n also I would like an refund

Very unhappy with our experience, which is a real shame as we’ve always enjoyed the food from here before. Not this time though. Took 2hrs to be delivered! The fish was rock hard & the rest was tasteless & either cold or luke warm at best.

Fries were disgusting, I assume from the taste and sogginess they were refried, the special garlic bread should clearly state what is on them. Couldn't eat them because of the jalapeños and onions. Kebab was decent, worth the money. Burger was overcooked, bun was soggy and the chips weren't great. Also think it's ridiculous you can't order a burger on its own without chips. Pizza was edible but nothing special and arrived colder than expected for a freshly made pizza.

Placed an order and paid extra for battered chips. When I called to ask why I had received fries instead I was told “WE WERE CLOSING SO THATS WHAT WE SENT”. Followed by “NEXT TIME I WILL SEND FREE DRINK”. Disgusting service. Don’t charge extra for something you cannot deliver and then use the excuse you are closing

I reserved a message that the order is ready for collection but it wasn't, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes to collect.

Disgusting quality, every chip black eyes, dry , meat had a tang , chicken dry no taste complete waste of money all went in the bin !

I ordered a chicken burger, plain chips, and a meat feast pizza, the food was lush, and so reasonably priced, will definitely be ordering again !! Happy customer. 😊

Probably the worst chips I'v ever had tasted like greasy cardboard. Curry sauce vile, bland mush.. They have no idea what they're doing and I have no idea how they're in business. Stay away from these immigrant wasters.

I can only speak as I find, ordered Meat & Salad and Fish & Chips. All were delicious,10/10. Everything was freshly cooked. I collected rather than delivery services, which I find ruins the food.

Steak and Kidney pie was unavailable so they rang my husband to offer beef and onion, the pie was so hard absolutely disgusting! Potato wedges were burnt! They offered to send out another pie but my husband just called them back to say don't bother as the food and service is shocking. We asked for a manager to call us and they said there wasn't one on site, we gave them the option of a refund or bad feedback... they opted for bad feedback, that alone speaks volumes! They do not deserve custom!

had to select salt and vinegar as part of my meal when ordering, I added an extra note asking for PLENTY of vinegar and salt, food came with no salt or vinegar on it at all. curry sauce was also really watery and bland

The delivery time changed to half an hour later than expected but was kept me well informed.First time ordering the food arrived piping hot,we had the family deal,2 pizzas, 2 kebabs,chicken portions and battered chips plus more. The food was amazing!! Tasty pizzas, succulent chicken,lovely battered chips, flavour some different kebab meat. My only moan really there wasn’t an option to add sauces to the kebab meat. Definitely recommend and will be ordering from there again.

Chose the restaurant based on over 4 star rating & speed of estimated delivery. Place is in the same postcode as me & I ride past it on my way to work everyday on a push bike within 8 mins of leaving my front door. Estimate was 35mins, arrived 1.5hrs after ordering. Terrible service, average food, won't use either chippy or just eat again. Truly disappointed, false advertising, lost appetite by the time it arrived. Disgusting customer service to keep moving times back after order multiple times.

Can't call its self a chip shop, disgusting food, chips were the night before chips, pay nearly a fiver for a bag of chips ud expect them to be fresh, definitely not from this place. A large pot of curry sauce u get 2 really small tubs not even enough to fill 1 little tub. Pies are freezing cold and rock solid, they always reheat them, and then leave them under the heater to go even more hard and horrible! Will never buy from here again, waste of money, waste of a shop, should definetly close down! Zero stars!

Order stated 35-50 minutes for delivery. Arrived after 2 and a half hours and 2 phone calls later

Order was placed at 7:52, but didn’t arrived until 9:40. My order was originally supposed to arrive by 8:50, but kept getting pushed back and pushed back. Its final arrival time was supposed to be 9:25, but it didn’t arrive until 9:40. Just Eat said to request a partial refund for the lateness, but the restaurant refused as they were busier than normal. They shouldn’t have accepted my request if they were too busy as I’d rather have had my food on time from elsewhere. Really disappointed.

The worst meal we have ever had. Complained to Just Eat also. After ringing and ringing and ringing to be fobbed off many times the food finally arrived after 2 hours 20 minutes! When we opened the food most of it was disgusting and had to be thrown in the bin. The chips were black and like they had been sitting for ages. The kebab meat was also awful like it had be lying for ages. I had family around for Christmas and was embarrassed. Stay away will never use again.

Food was beautiful, chips were very fluffy and cooked perfectly, the fried chicken was fresh and fell off the bone . Donner was fresh and cut into thick slices , they dont shy on portion sizes which is good . The chicken balti pie is delicious . Highly recommend this place, gives me the nostalgia of an old school chip shop .

I placed an order via Just Eat and delivery was 30 minutes. 10 minutes later they added another 60 minutes to delivery, despicable! I cancelled the order and Just Eat and Pendeford Fish Bar refused to refund. Do not use this takeaway as they have not delivered and stolen my money. What a shame, family run business which I was trying to support yet they have taken my money and not refunded like they should have. Disgraceful! Taking legal action shortly against them in due course.

Food is good quality and good portions. Pizza was fresh and tasted very good. Chips are beautiful. Very fluffy and soft just like a proper chippy should be . Staff take care of customer requests and its worth the price. Very nice place to eat from .

Disgusting meal! The batter on the cod and roe tasted awful like old oil used. And the batter was very thick with little fish inside. Left most of meal. Wouldn't use again.

Absolutely shocking food quality. My partner ordered a kebab in a naan bread. The naan bread was saturated in grease to the point when he unwrapped it the grease poured into the kitchen side. The bread squelched with grease when he tried to bite it. Made him feel ill. I ordered chicken and mushroom pie and chips and my pie was rock solid, I could only eat the filling. Poor quality. Won't be buying again!

I asked what was in the chips and sausage since my sister has an milk and gluten allergy and the first man couldn’t “understand” what I was saying and the second man came on the phone and before I could even finish asking he told me “Nah” and ended the phone on me. I WAS IN SHOCK AND DISGUSTED with this behaviour.

Got to the chippy for 9pm and just about the worst fish and chips we've ever had. Asked for a large cod and when we unwrapped it it washalf the size if a mini fish and definatly not fresh. The chips were stale to. I know it was late but if your open till 10pm atleast provide eadible food. The only upside was it was pretty cheap. Never ever use again, dreadful.

Chips are very nice, only problem I have is that the roe is extremely under size compared to other chip shops in the area, it's very deceiving with the batter you hardly get any roe.

Since the change of ownership the fish and chips are absolutely tasty and fresh, also the kebabs mixed meat or doner meat very tasty, Highly recommended amazing customer service, just pop in if you are in the area.

I asked for no salad and they gave me oion it has annoyed me because I can't enjoy my meal without biting into an onion

I won't be going back. The food was so greasy! The sausage had been sat in the warmer then re-heated by dropping it in the fryer again. I have no idea how this place stays open
