As usual, superb! Always freshly cooked, inc the chips so although you have to wait, it is well worth it. The batter is second to none!!

I ordered online from Uber eats paid a premium price ( this is the third time now that they have not looked at the request made. They missed the extra basked I called up the pace and there answer was we are too busy i abbey waiting 4( minutes now r , ( well employ more staff then to do ten work ). I was very disappointed with the place as it seemed the guy did not care at all as they are earning enough money. It’s disappointing really as it’s happening quite a few times now. Very disappointed using this app

Seriously underrated place. Freshly cooked for you. The cod and chips not greasy, firm and sooooo tasty! Friendly staff and good prices. Great find.

Relatives had been here in August who used our house when away. Came back for a long weekend and insisted on buying us fish and chips. All cooked to order. Takes about 20 minutes but well well worth it. Everything is cooked to perfection! Seriously best fish + chips we have had in ages.

food was mediocre, and the kebabs and burgers came with no salad or sauce so was very dry and lacked any substance.

Absolutely awful chips literally tasted like they had been cooked and reheated. If I could have been bothered to return them I would have , ended up in the bin !

Only wanted one portion of chips! How was it that I was still waiting 20 minutes later? Nobody else waiting...... but no chips were served - surely the primary purpose of a fish and chip shop? Anyway, I gave up and left. £1.80 down the drain - lol.

Excellent food. Mr. Singh the owner is very friendly and takes some serious attention to detail to fresh and well-made food. Good value for money and a nice dining experience.

I'd heard how wonderful this shop is but leaves a lot to be desired!! The man behind the counter trying to cook and wash up at same time, wearing a not very clean apron. I'll leave it up to you to make your own mind up?

Good fish and chips, friendly staff and card payment available through the shop next door if you need it. Kebab and chips also recommended. Please to have them as our local.

On a cold afternoon we visited the duck pond opposite and decided to warm up on some chips on the walk home. The chips were hot and delicious, portion was on the small side for the price. Waited nearly 20mins for the chips to be ready, too long when you have hungry/cold children.

We were on holiday in slough and this take away was a few doors down from where we were staying so got a menu as we passed, rang our order through and went to collect 30 minutes later. They tried to charge me £8 more than I expected as they "no longer did a buy one pizza get one free". This offer was clearly advertised on the menus all over the take away yet the manager said they had stopped doing it. After 15 minutes debating the legal status of not honoring an offer they only charged me £1 more than expected. Don't get me wrong the food was great, fresh pizza and a pleasant kebab but wont buy again as don't want the hassle.

As you walk in take a look at the hygiene certificate it has top marks,not only that,the product is top marks as well. Crunchy batter on a large Cod or Haddock,normal size is big. You need to be hungry because one portion of chips could feed two people.You will have wait a few minutes as your fish is cooked to order. All in all the best chippy in Slough.
