Food tasted good but had to wait an extra 45 mins for delivery and all food was cold 🥶 I would order again as this was a first time experience just to see if thae same thing happens again gutted and didn’t enjoy eating it after waiting so long

Sorry to say not good at all, awful batter, greasy, small for a large (more like a large child’s fish) chips were greasy. Sausage was dried up. Will not order again.

Ok ...you may have your local chippy which you use because it's close to you however you gotta check this little gem out. Peter the fish fryer and owner really takes his fayre to another level. Everything is cooked to order ...no more than a 5 minute wait. The food is fresh, crisp and hot. The food is cooked in oil so NO greasy residue left in your mouth and no afternoon / evening repeating ( those who suffer from exessive repeating from food will be surprised). The fish is specifically selected ...you will see and taste the difference and the chips are triple cooked. Peter brings take away fish and chips into the 21st century ...really understanding that quality is the key and the difference between ordinary and outstanding. I promise ...that you will not be disappointed ...and if you do not give Victoria fisheries in Guiseley you have missed a treat.

had a deliciously tasty fish and chip supper for two from this fine establishment,hard to choose a favorite chippy in Grimsby but i aim to try them all before i leave thanks for the food

Tried this chippy again after a bad meal a year ago. Sorry to say it as not improved. Ordered fish, chips and peas and was very dissatisfied. The chips were OK but only just walk, the fish was over cooked, heavily battered and a bit of a bleach smell. The peas were just a lump of green stodge. Won't use again.

13 Coniston AvTravelled from Mansfield to try this place out. Ordered 2 large Fish and chips. The fish was absolutely huge and cooked to order and came with a boat load of chips. The two women serving were super friendly and only too happy to help. The fish was super fresh and tasty and the batter was lovely, Definitely the best fish I've had in years. Next time I think we will go for a medium portion as the large fish and chips, you need a lie down after lol.

334 St. Nicholas DrDate been 3/3/25 time been around 1700hrs,ordered fish and chips twice,large peas and gravy,sorry to say hard batter and warm chips not up to their normal standard will not be visiting again perhaps pre heated
