Winners Fish And Chips in North East Lincolnshire

Fortunately I only wanted a tray of chips. I would have ordered more had the prices been competitive. £5.50 for small fish and chips is expensive compared with other lunch time specials in the area. The chips I received where under cooked. The man charged me too much compared with his pricing board. And he coated the chips in so much salt I couldn't eat them. I won't be going back there

Really poor to be fair, called in as was passing through and peckish. Opted for small fish and chips, chips almost raw and anemic, fish was fresh cooked had to wait which was no issue but the batter was soggy and also undercooked. Asked to put my own Salt and vinegar on and you would have thought I was asking for the earth! Price £5.50, gave them a tenner to get £4.20 back queried this and it was because they gave me a wooden fork, I won't be returning anytime soon if ever, shame as they have some ok reviews so I guess them folk will eat any garbage.

Fantastic fish and chips! been going to Winners for 40+ years and never been disappointed. Would strongly recommend this fish and chip shop.

Chips undercooked, once unwrapped, it looked like a bag of mashed potato. Fish batter soggy, wet and went in the bin. Large sausages had been cooked and left in the top box for far too long. My grandchild literally couldn't bite through it. Shop had 6 people in and owner was super stressed and super rude. Definitely not a winner for me.

Chicken was a bit over cooked very dry and hard to swallow...but the gentleman was very busy so we overlooked it .... otherwise 100%spot on with excellent prices

The large fish and chips £7.80 it was nice. But I wanted curry on my card but the man said it's up to £5 on card and lady Stirling at me how work there.

Popped in and was served quickly! The chips were only £2.50 and tasted great with a quite larger portion. Menus were available to take which show all the prices (see images attached). Overall, prices appear reasonable and good tasted and looked amazing! Will definitely be back again.

A fish and chip shop that we always visit when we are visiting our daughter. Produce cooked fresh and the fish is of the highest quality and mushy peas to die for. Value for money. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Ordered so many times from here, 90% of the time they missed off an item even tho we have a list, awful customer service, not respectful, never going here again, TERRIBLE!!

Great Haddock and chips. Cooked to order and cheaper than Grimsby area shops.

Our go to chip shop. Jumbo (proper jumbo too) fish and chips, £8.50 currently. Always decent portions. Even the wife likes it Parking a bit limited, but it's a residential road so to be expected

Best chippy in the area hands down

Very much get the impression they resent taking card payments, which I understand given they get charged. However, Immingham has poor cash machine availability, and I suspect a better WiFi setup would solve the PoS issues lol. It's 2023, cash is dying!!

Fish slightly over cooked and not the freshest, everything else spot on.

If this was a sea front chippy this would be the one with the queue out the door while other chippys were empty.

Had a fishcake the portion was very large

Called here many times but not anymore the last few times the chips not cooked properly and at today's price you cannot pay high prices and receive poor quality food also the owner really needs to work hard on customer service skills which he sadly lacks

Used this place for quite a while. Brilliant fish and chips. The review by Cinead further down is confusing. There is no train station in Immingham. Nor bus station. . I think he is confusing it with another restaurant. Please note. They are only taking cash now.

A little gem in immingham. Having being spoiled by wybers chippy for years this place is equally as good.

They are lovely and friendly and make the best fish sandwich/patties for miles around 😍 chips are really good too. Made to order so if your in a hurry best to ring beforehand.

Excellent service staff are friendly and the food is excellent with very good portions, this was my second meal from here it's always cooked fresh so you may have to wait but it's worth it.saturday 7/5/22 still as good a small price increase but it's well worth it.😃😃 Wedding anniversary 44years let's have the best fish & chips in town. Unfortunately they are closed from 15 to 20 the for refurbishing.5/11/22 still is good as ever.

It has an ok selection but no kebabs the portions are a good size polite and sometimes busy is a problem with parking as it's a busy and tight street low stars just because I have only tried a couple of items on the menu and I do tend to stick to the same items steak pie chips curry sauce

First time using this chippy and the fish was fantastic but the chips were not. The shop was very clean and there was a little parking space to use in front of the shop. Will use again.

When passing through Immingham I always swerved in here and had Haddock & chips which was fantastic in the past, well they have a new owner and it was disgusting. The fish was greasy and the batter rock hard, the oil was way past its usable date. Won't be going again.

I have just bought fish, scampi and chips from here. It was dreadful! I definitely Do Not recommend this takeaway.

Not a good day obviously fish n chips were actually lovely but the starters, whi h incidentally arrived after the main was served was appalling. So called sea food platter. Lightly dusted calamari, whitebait and scampi thats was the description, what u actially got was breadcrumbed , soggy and cooked in.oil that had seen better days. Never have I had calamari served.looking.like burnt fish fingers. At least we didnt pay for it.

Just moved to the area ,had a fantastic take out fish and chips,very busy take away but that's down to the quality and value of the food. Would definitely recommend top class.staff are lovely and polite too .

I had beautiful fish and chips last night, my husband ordered large for us both, the fish was that big, it didnt fit on the plate, we could have easily shared one portion.

Working local North Shields and area have good fish and chip shops but this takes some beating Great haddock and chips this chippy was recommended and it lived up to reputation!

I wouldn't recommend this chippy to anyone, fish tasted off and the steak pie we ordered was still frozen and need re cooking. Despite the fact we waited 20 minutes for them to cook it, also we ordered two gravy and instead recived two mushy peas. Overall poor quality food, we will not be using this place agin.

Absolute TOP quality. The chips maybe sometimes dodgy, but that is mostly dependent on the weather. Look at my face, this is my face after having Winners Fish & Chips.

Not used this chippy for a while and I wish I never bothered, we were served what looked liked yesterday warmed up chips and they were ftr for one place the bin!

This used to be a great chippy but yesterday (11-7-19) I was dropping off a coach party and thought I would call in for lunch. Big mistake! The chips were re-heated from yesterday and I could not find any fish what-so-ever inside the fish cake. Not good.

Very disappointed, chips were a funny dark colour and sausage was so hard it was impossible to cut through the batter
