The best restaurants in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

What a gem!!!!! What a delightful dining experience in a vibrant but chilled restaurant. Starters we had were Garlic mushroom and Goats cheese with black pudding. Mains We had Carbonara and haddock and prawn risotto all were amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend dining at Portofino.

Excellent place to take our grandchildren. Super friendly staff.

Happen to drive past and decided to give this place a try....fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming, very helpful when it came to ordering. Both had Sunday lunches (they were out of beef so offered the beef bourginon instead which was delicious), portions were just the right size. Don't think we've ever had such great roast potatoes, so fluffy inside but crispy on the outside. Reasonably priced for the quality of food, will definitely visit again.

What a super pub this is. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and light, everything one wants when you take a break. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and very pleasant. Thank you all.

Fantastic hotel, great price and excellent food. Liked · An amazing hotel to stay at. Excellent price, super friendly and professional staff. Great location and the breakfast was excellent. The facilities were very good, a very comfy bed and although the bathroom was small, it was extremely clean and modern. Disliked · I wasn't personally affected, and although there is an internal lift, it didn't look like the building was completely step-free.

Stayed in their lovely loft room. Very clean and quiet, nicely decorated. Close location to town centre. Staff very friendly. Will stay again.

Waited 30 minutes for a very simple order - soup and bread - but it never arrived.

We’ve been coming here for years and can honestly say this is the best place to eat in Harrogate - Matt and his team go over and above to make every visit a fantastic experience. Incredible food and great service. The team on the bar are also always spot on with the cocktail recommendations! Many thanks to all the staff for another lovely New Year’s Eve meal.

Didn’t use their accommodation however if the restaurant is anything to go by, it is worth a visit.

Warm inviting good old fashioned pub which we need to preserve

Outstanding food, there are not enough words to describe the hospitality and wealth of information that Lisa was able to help us with. A little gem.

We had a large delivery of almost 30 portions and food was hot, tasty and on time. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

We had a sandwich each. Very nice, lots of killing, salad, and crisps. Good value. The tea was good as well. Dog friendly.
