The Dining Room in Harrogate

Always a gorgeous breakfast at the Dining Room. I had my favourite bacon and egg bap and my wife had the full English. The weekend isn’t the weekend without a visit 😋👍

I am familiar with the Dining Room having lived in the area all my life and I’m aware of all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. I was therefore looking forward to it when my wife and I visited on a Sunday morning. Okay, we both had only a bacon sandwich so it’s probably a bit unfair to judge the whole experience on this but I have to say I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed. There was no choice of bread (would have been nice if we had been offered white/brown/wholemeal, sliced or roll etc). What we got was a plain white roll with some bacon in it that was hard and chewy. I had a latte which was nice. My wife asked for a latte made with oat milk which they were unable to do. Prices are at the top end for which I would have expected better. The full English breakfasts that we saw being served looked very good so perhaps we made the wrong choice. Clearly they are doing something right from all the excellent reviews so I’m sorry to leave a slightly negative review but I can only give an honest opinion of our experience.

Haven’t been to the Dining Room since it became a day time cafe . Peered through the window for ages as I thought it had changed hands . Then we saw Lisa who has run the place with her husband (and chef ) for years . We are so glad we spotted her and came in ! Lunch was exceptionally good . Lovely service as well. The soup and homemade bread were gorgeous ( half a loaf ! ) , the smoked salmon sandwich was excellent - you know it will be good when it’s served with a garnish of samphire ! As for the dessert!! Salted caramel cheese was to die for . We remember fond times when they ran the hospitality side of a high end boutique hotel in the Lakes . A long time ago but lunch reminded me that they still have what it takes ! Thank you .

Went here for a late lunch and was immediately impressed by the service. Hugh greeted us as we entered with a “Good Afternoon” and a smile, promptly showed us to a table and gave us menus and explained the “Specials” of the day. The menu was varied and catered for all tastes. I opted for the burger which was locally sourced from the butchers next door. Making use of local is big on my list. Everything is cooked to order yet the wait wasn’t long at all. When the food arrived it was presented very well and made the mouth water in anticipation of the meal that followed. We met Lisa (owner) who said “Hello” and asked if everything is ok. It was perfect. Overall a very satisfying experience. Excellent service and excellent food. Thank you Lisa and Hugh.

Met our Son and our 2year old grandson here. All the staff were very accommodating, providing a high chair. Food was excellent. Our Son has to have a strict gluten free diet and the restuarant has a g/f menu. Would recommend.

The Dining Room is always a super visit and we especially love having breakfast there at the weekend We can wait for the summer weather to arrive and the outdoor terrace to return Highly recommended 😊👍

We visited last week and was looking forward to a selection of cakes to go with our coffee. However when we arrived there was only a selection of chocolate brownie and Victoria sponge. I don’t like buttercream but ordering anyway and it was fabulous. The sponge was light and tasty and it looked spectacular. We will visit again but would be happier if they were open in the evening. Lovely surroundings.

Stumbled on this lovely place whilst out for the day with my mum (sprightly 90 year old) Food top notch and service just right. Doesn’t look much from the outside but inside is calm light and plenty of space and super clean. Goats cheese tart and dressed salad - perfect !!

Found this lovely place by virtue of a local encouraging us in as at first glance we thought it was a formal dining establishment. We were welcomed by a very attentive waitress and enjoyed a homemade fruit scone with cream and jam accompanied by a generous pot of tea and a coffee. The main menu looked good and we will certainly visit again if we are in the area.

We decided to have lunch here during a very cold, blustery, wet but partially sunny day! Outside seating only at the moment due to Covid rules, but it’s a comfortable enclosed terrace, with access to an indoor toilet. Very warm welcome, and started with a very large pot of tea, served with hot water without having to ask. Then homemade mushroom soup, coronation chicken sandwich, skinny fries, followed by chocolate brownie and fruitcake with cheese. All were well made and delicious, although I personally found the fruit cake the least ‘presented’ and a tad dry. But it’s a minor point made only because everything else was so good. We would definitely go again and would recommend it. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Just been for lunch with my daughter....had the most fantastic food accompanied by Mimosa's! This place is a hidden gem, can't wait to return.

What a truly brilliant Friday take out! The Creamy Chicken, mushroom & petit pois topped with Cheesy mash was epic! Cant wait to have it again 👌The Creme Caramel was a fantastic pud 😁 Thank you Chris & Lisa 👍

We had sandwiches (came with crisps and a tub of salad), brownies and coffee to take away which were out of this world. They were really delicious. I highly recommend. I telephoned the order through and it was ready and waiting for me. No queuing. Coffee made when I arrived so hot. Lisa and Chris are great. Chatty and friendly and always have a smile to welcome you. The cakes are a particular favourite; especially the brownies and carrot cake ☺️.

Totally revamped and now open - pre lockdown 2 - for breakfasts and a few other things we gave it a try just pre lockdown 2. Lovely sausage and egg baps. Well worth a visit if they do the same post LD2 👍

Faultless restaurant, always feel so welcome and the food is delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere. Lisa is so welcoming.

We just love the dining room and the warm, welcoming environment that Lisa and Chris have created. The food is delicious and it’s genuinely the best cheese and pickle sandwich in the world. The drinks menu is extensive enough to cover all tastes. The indoor is lovely and the garden is beautiful and is still open (when dry!) Best venue, hands down and is operating in a Covid safe manner.

My friend and I visited for lunch and we sat outside in the stunning garden and terrace. It was lovely and private and blankets were provided when it got chilly! We chose from the terrace menu which included tempura prawns and fish cakes, which were both wonderfully presented and delicious. We were served great coffee too. The staff are very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend - perfect for daytime dining!

Great sandwiches and super coffee with friendly and helpful service, they were coping with the "Covid Rules" very well and we left feeling as though we would like to go back

So pleased to be able to visit the Dining Room over recent weeks as it has opened during the day. It has a beautiful patio style garden with potted plants and secluded seating all well distanced at the rear. It works amazingly well and it’s just a delight to sit in the garden. The whole experience is produced by the owners who have such an eye for detail and everything is perfect. The menu and food is of the same high standard and very reasonable priced for the great quality and generous serving. Beautiful soup, generous sandwiches with salads and crisps , great salads and hot selections with a brilliant sweet and cake menu. We had a glass of Prosecco last visit. It’s taken lunches in Boroughbridge to another level !

We came to the Dining Room to celebrate and we are so glad we did! We sat outside in their private terraced garden, it feels like you’re on holiday in Tuscany, not a busy little market town in rural North Yorkshire. The best fish cakes I’ve ever had with spinach and a delicious sauce. Crispiest french fries and beautifully chilled white wine. It’s dog friendly and little Gino enjoyed keeping an eye on the other guests. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

Booked in for breakfast today (Sunday) myself and my friend, decided to book after going for a lovely lunch here earlier in the week. Really friendly service and excellent food. The coffee was delicious too, nice and strong. The terrace/garden area is so pretty and great on a dry day. I would really recommend a visit here. I will be back.

We'd heard the food was good and we were so pleased to visit this lovely place. The courtyard garden is super, well spaced out and very pretty. The food was fabulous, fresh and very good quality. The staff were great. Definitely a fab find.

We popped in for lunch on Saturday - not planned but we were walking past and thought the menu looked good...So glad we did - we had a wonderful lunch! Parma ham & feta salad - generous servings of both with the freshest of ingredients including heritage tomatoes made for a unexpectedly great lunch.It really is the essence of a good meal - quality ingredients which have been expertly prepared and then served by friendly staff.Highly recommended...

Eaten at the Dining Room on many occasions, but today discovered their stunning large courtyard garden basked in the early morning sunshine. Simply delicious huge bacon butties....we didn't want to leave so got easily tempted with a slice of the amazing homemade cake of the day too! A beautiful & tranquil setting made even more enjoyable by the fab & friendly Dinning Room team. See you again very soon.

Booked a courtyard table for our sons 18th Birthday late breakfast brunch. Staff were great in allowing us to drop the balloons off beforehand. Social distancing was very well managed. Tables well spaced. Very clean and the garden was full of colour. Nice and peaceful. Dogs were welcome and fresh water was provided for them. The menu was varied and between the 6 of us we opted for the bacon butties, roast salmon, smoked salmon, chips and lots of soft drinks and coffee. The food was excellent. Beautifully presented, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. At no time did we feel rushed and nothing was too much trouble.All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable couple of hours. Have booked to go again already.

Alfresco dining at its best. Our first venture to the ‘new experience’ Dining Room Boroughbridge. Chris & Lisa have done a great job making the best of a difficult situation. Their flexibility and imagination is creditable. Dining outside in the UK is always risky but providing you make sensible personal preparations The Dining Room Does the rest The food was to the usual high standard as was the personal service. First time at the restaurant and was not disappointed. Service was extremely friendly and professional. Every course I had with my wife was excellent. Would recommend.

For the second time, since they began offering their takeaway dinner menu, we’ve enjoyed family celebrations at home. The food is exceptionally good! Ordering is incredibly simple with a new weekend menu published every week. Tonight we had delicious tomato soup and freshly baked bread, followed by lobster with garlic butter! Such a treat!

Very far from normal times but as always Chris and Lisa have excelled themselves. The premier of the takeaway menu has gone down a treat. It’s so very nice to enjoy a little something special after weeks of necessary denial. Excellent, quality, fantastic value and a taste of luxury. Thank you

Had dinner on 29th February 2020. Utterly delicious food and an exciting wine from the USA to accompany it. Service is outstanding, every detail is executed perfectly. Such care and attention to make their guests comfortable, content and very well fed. Can’t wait to return!

I booked the dining room for a surprise 50th Birthday Party for 30 people, the organisation was absolutely exceptional.We had a drinks reception in the lovely upstairs bar & Lounge with canapés. The staff were very attentive.The meal was excellent and everything was done to perfection. The staff were willing & unobtrusive. The chef made a fabulous cake for us which was much appreciated.All in all a wonderful day, with friends & family, & not forgetting the delicious food & drink.Thank you to the dining room team.

A warm welcome from Christopher the Chef, ushered upstairs into a very elegant room which we could have stayed in all night .Almost like going back in time, we were greeted by Lisa.Had a cocktail while perusing through the Valentine's menu. Good choice of mouthwatering dishes, wanted them all Lisa escorted us down to a very contemporary dining room for our meal. No paper serviettes here ,just the best crisp linen and sparkling cutlery.Hubby and I had a fabulous meal, food cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.Lisa was very efficient as front of house and looked after our every whim.We can highly recommend this restaurant and in the hands of Christopher and Lisa you will not be disappointed.A great place to eat whatever the occasion .Mabes and David

Booked for a family birthday on a Sunday lunch. There was a large group of us and I had to amend the booking several times. Lisa was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Upon arrival we had a lovely table in the window and great canapés of Brie and tomato. The food was amazing including the home made bread. Roast beef dinner was faultless and a special small one for a little person. To top it all, a home made brownie birthday cake which was simply stunning. The service was excellent. Had a fabulous time on New Year’s Eve the food was excellent Especially the cheese soufflé for starter, in fact every thing was delicious and the service was 5 star, made us feel very special, thanks once again Chris and Lisa for a great night. You are certainly the number 1 in our book.

The Dining Room hosted a family meal for my Dad’s 75th birthday in December 2019, there was 16 of us. We had a really lovely time, the service from all the staff made us feel very special. The food was great, we had Sunday lunch, the beef is amazing!

Went to The Dining Room for a Christmas Eve meal. Lovey atmosphere, absolutely fantastic food and even better service. One of the best restaurants in North Yorkshire in my humble opinion.

Lisa and the team gave us an amazing night. Drinks and canopies in the bar were super. The food was delicious and Lisa is so accommodating. She hand wrote table places allowing us all to move for desert and the service was perfection. Love this place. Visited for a birthday meal with family. Enjoyed a drink in the bar upstairs before our meal. The food was good. There were no vegan options and only one veggie option but I’m sure if you called ahead they might accommodate. Portions were generous and they brought a little cake with a candle in for the birthday girl which we appreciated.

We (a party of 3), enjoyed a wonderful meal with drinks here last night. Expertly made Cocktails to start with in the delightful bar upstairs; where we were invited to peruse the menu & place our chosen meal orders. We were then taken downstairs to the restaurant and seated at our table. The table service was impeccable; as was the cuisine; excellent quality & so tastefully balanced. I was so touched when they bought out a handmade Birthday cake for my daughter; Thank you so much. All in all, 'The Dining Room' delivers a wonderful dining experience with that all important personal touch. Would highly recommend a visit.

Last minute,frozen after a cold day at the races and the dining room fitted us in on a busy evening.my husband said his bloody Mary was the best he'd had for years and my kir royale was delicious,all accompanied by a very tasty amuse bouche.our meal was outstanding,stunning cooking.we'll definitely be back.

We have been dining here for a long time, haven’t been for a while due to circumstances,plus not local for us.

We had an amazing meal tonight at this lovely restaurant. We started in the comfortable bar up stairs for drinks then moved down stairs to our table for starters. We had home made bread on the table and I had the salmon fish cake in a delicious sauce. For Main I had the goats cheese tart , just simple and very tasty. Everyone one else had the steak and said it was amazing and the best they had had !

We had wanted to come here for quite a while and finally got round to it, so glad we did! We received a warm welcome and went for drinks upstairs in the lavish bar, followed by a delicious three course meal. The duck was particularly memorable and the portion sizes left us very satisfied. Will definitely be returning!

We turned up on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. From the start we were made to feel welcome and a table was made ready for us. It was a warm evening so we sat outside in the garden which was lush. The menu choices were well balanced. The food was amazing and we all shared.

Had another wonderful evenig at our favourite restaurant, the Lobster Bisque was to die for, and the Lobster for main was perfection, with Lime Pantacotte with lemon sauce to finish who could ask for more. Wonderful staff the a beautiful setting with drinks in the garden made the perfect evening. Thank you Chris and Lisa you always know how to look after us, and all your diners.

Went here by recommendation and was not disappointed. Go a little early and use the upstairs lounge with bar. Cocktails were fantastic. The meal was perfect using local produce. The service was efficient and friendly.

The food was ok . The bar lady was rude and wearing a pair of Ill fitting jeans. Which was very off putting with her false attitude and manner.Will not be going again as it was over priced.

Had drinks in the upstairs bar prior to dinner after a lovely welcome from Lisa. It is a lovely, comfortable, quirky room which gives a great start to the evening. The dining room is beautifully appointed and the food was great. My wife had bresaola followed by spinach and ricotta ravioli and I had smoked salmon and prawns followed by belly pork with wonderful crispy crackling. Oh and I forgot to mention superb home baked sourdough bread. When we are next back in this neck of the woods we will definitely return.

Been visiting the Dining room for 15 years

We landed unexpectedly at The Dining Room as part of a spontaneous visit to North Yorkshire. The restaurant was quiet, which meant we had a lively intimate experience. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly without being overbearing. After a gin upstairs in the bar (20 varieties on offer) with delicate Camembert tartlets, we enjoyed a relaxed and scrumptious meal: sour dough, soup (pea and leek; French onion with rarebit), goat’s cheese tart, sea trout (both with super fresh asparagus), champagne jelly with sorbet, petit fours and earl grey, and a bottle of Chenin Blanc. The food was well presented, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. With three courses, tea, gin and wine the total cost was around 100£ for the two of us. We went on a Saturday night, we were hoping to have a cocktail in the garden but it was too cold but what a gorgeous little garden. We had a drink in the upstairs lounge which has a lovely feel to it. We had a delicious cheese and onion quiche canapé to accompany our drinks which were fantastic by the way. Such a lovely welcome too. We then went downstairs to the restaurant and were not disappointed. We had the 2 different soups which were amazing. So tasty and the home made sour dough was perfect. Mains were the trout and pork which again was faultless. All rounded off with great puddings. Service was friendly and efficient. A fantastic night. Highly recommended.

Staff were so friendly even after we had advised we would be 30 mins for our table. Little touches such as the cheese tarts and home made mini brownie and flapjack really added to the meal. Service was fantastic, very attentive and the fillet steak was one of the best.

Haven’t been here for a long time but decided to visit on spec whilst travelling North.

Fabulous dining experience from start to finish. Stunning pre/post dinner bar upstairs so don't worry about arriving early, as we did. Complementary canapes arrived with our drinks and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely meal all round. We took our drinks back upstairs and were brought complementary truffles which were delicious.

When you discover a little gem in a small town...... Three factors and all score very highly Food quality , service, value. Add that extra of very nice dining room and I can only recommend that you book at earliest opportunity.

The Dining Room Boroughbridge provides excellent cuisine in a fantastic warm, friendly and rather special atmosphere. Everything from beginning to end is absolutely top notch. Our first visit to The Dining Room last night and we already can't wait to go back. The lounge upstairs is amazing- such a gorgeous place to relax. The garden at the back would be dreamy in summer. The welcome was lovely, and our drinks and food were outstanding. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend!

A surprise birthday treat from my other half and what a wonderful surprise! Food was absolutely delicious, some of the best fish I have ever had and the chocolate brownies are to die for!! But what made the difference was the impeccable service, Lisa as a hostess is fabulous and the restaurant staff too. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone that is seeking exceptional food and an incredible venue - the lounge upstairs is just so relaxing! 10*.

Visited here on a Saturday night during a weekend stay in Boroughbridge.I had seen the restaurant on trip advisor before travelling so booked on line a week before travelling.We had booked for 7.30 and on arrival there was only one other couple eating.However the restaurant soon filled up and the atmosphere lifted.The service and food were great and nothing was too much trouble.Chef even split a starter for my husband and myself to share as we now struggle a bit with threes courses and had to save room for a pudding.So glad we did as the brûlée was delicious.

You can tell that a good deal of thought and attention has gone into the furnishing and decoration of this restaurant, it really is a splendid place to spend an evening. The restaurant is on the ground floor with a beautiful lounge at first floor level, the latter was superbly decorated for Christmas – the tree was particularly stunning.

Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Great food, lovely welcome and relaxed but attentive service. The last time we had beef as good was the last time we were here!I Can't praise it enough and all at a very reasonable price. We were thoroughly spoiled.

Long cold day, tired and fed up. Husband suggested the early bird at the Dining Room. They were so accommodating. We gave them about 5 mins notice and we were shown to a lovely table in a WARM, cosy corner.Absolutely outstanding food, freshly prepared, Homemade sourdough bread that was horribly moreish.Chicken parfait that was so smooth, home made almost christmassy chutney,delicious and I don't even like chutney.Fantastic wine.We would have loved one of the delicious sounding desserts but we'd run out of room! The very lovely friendly Lisa(Front of house) gave us a little stripey paper bag with the rest of the sourdough loaf to take home.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Harrogate area. Pre dinner or lunch drinks with canapes in the bar lounge upstairs provides a relaxing ambiance before going downstairs to the restaurant. This is a family business run by Lisa and Chris (Chef) who provide a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. The menu choice is vey good and you start the meal with wonderful warm home made bread (be careful not to eat too much of the bread). We have been a number of times in the evening and for Sunday lunch. The food has always been first class with an impressive selection available. Takes some beating!

I defy you to find anywhere in the area better than this. Owners Chris (chef) & Lisa (front of house) are very friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic. Some might think the prices a bit on the high side, but it's about value for money for me. Wonderful place.

What an enchanting Restaurant! Having mistakenly arrived an hour early (oops!) we were well looked after in the stylish and cosy Bar upstairs, and served beautiful canapés , until our friends arrived. In the Restaurant our window table was spotlessly clean, light and airy. The prawns in garlic butter were delicious - hot and tasty. I selected Red Mullet for my main course as I had never tasted it before. It was moist , beautifully cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we can't wait to return soon !

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and booked a table at the Dining Room. We were greeted at the door by the staff and ushered upstairs to the very comfortable lounge bar area, where we were given canapés and the menu to choose our meals . The restaurant is downstairs in an elegant room , the tables are nicely spaced to allow some privacy. Our meals were delicious, we both had the fillet of beef. The staff are very attentive but discreet.

As a Club we visited The Dining Room, 1.the greeting first class, 2.38 members met upstairs for pre diner drinks excellent choice of drinks, 3. We were then called down to be seated in the dining room to an excellent starter, main, and sweet.

Had a great dinner here. High quality food, excellent ambience and splendid, friendly service. Have to go some to find better!!

Had a wonderful time Chris & Lisa thank for a delicious meal, very impressed by the revamp to the outside looks very stilish. One of our favourite places for a night out be it on our own or with family and friends, great atmosphere, fab food and great service, if you’ve near been you must give it a try.

So glad we tried this place when visiting the area camping. We originally found it through the Michelin guide app. Food was really nice and didn’t disappoint. Lovely piece of steak very well cooked with tasty home made chunky fries. Staff very friendly. There is a really nice bar area upstairs to take in a pre dinner drink. We liked it that much we stuck around for an after dinner drink too. Recommended for high quality food for a fair price, will visit again when next in the area.

What a lovely experience. A beautiful evening so we had drinks in the garden area,a lovely start to the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The tasty little tartlet with drinks was a delight. We then moved into the restaurant and ate and the food was delicious. After we'd eaten we went for a night cap in the upstairs lounge. It was a wonderful evening in delightful surroundings. Well done to everyone at the Dining room!!!

Had a wonderful evening food delicious, wine wonderful and service great, would recommend highly if you’re in this part of the country. Truly 5 star.

The two best meals I have ever had now turn out to be Wombles Restaurant in Park Town Johannesburg and The Dining Room at Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire.

Lovely Saturday made perfect by the fresh, local & beautifully created meal.

Reviewed it before and it never disappoints. The chef also owns it and it shows in the care and skill. Smoked salmon with potato salad followed by roast beef with Yorkshire pud, every item perfect the beef tender and full of flavour. The wine list is comprehensive and well priced, Chianti today, not had it for years and had forgotten how nice it can be. Service was charming and very erricient. Comfortable place that doesn't crowd the tables. Very, very good.

A lovely restaurant- hospitable owners and so professional. The lounge area is a great spot in which to relax and the terrace is added value. A great selection of gins - my favourite Monkey 47 but numerous other quality guns plus a rather nice gin menu too.

Had a lovely supper in the garden in early June can especially recommend the steaks and the eton mess very pleasant evening

Just arrived back from the most fabulous meal I've had in a long time. I started with the oak smoked salmon fillet with dressed leaves and asparagus while my partner had the fennel and parsley soup. We both followed with the beef steak which must have been an inch and a half thick and beautifully succulent. The upstairs bar is wonderfully comfortably furnished and I can just imagine being there with a roaring fire on a winter afternoon. The restaurant is run by Lisa and Chis, a delightful couple who have been here for 18 years. Nice touch was petit fours served with the excellent coffee (haven't been given those, even in good hotels). The old adage applies - you get what you pay for and 'The Dining Room' delivers. We shall definitely come back.

Had lunch with friends Sunday lunch time lovely roast beef and delicious accompaniments friendly service just could have done with some nice weather to try the garden for drinks

We love the decor and ambience of the lounge bar upstairs to enjoy an aperitif. The is now and extended collection of gins.

This is a local restaurant we regularly use and one which deserves to be full at every sitting. The first time we have enjoyed an Easter Sunday lunch- an attractive table complete with mini eggs and Lindt Bunnies. The starters were delicious - prawn cocktail was A1 as was the Loch Fyne Salmon.The fillet of roast beef was as good as you could ever wish for (We have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants and none could improve on the quality or cooking of this beef - and none could match the fair price charged for a splendid 3 course lunch £26 95) Puds excellent and coffee and brownies a fitting end to a delightful meal. Will we return? Of course and so should many others. This is a hidden gem that needs to be discovered by many more people.

Spent a wonderful evening here. The upstairs seating area provides the perfect setting for pre dinner drinks and a place to chat in real comfort, and also for after dinner coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive and we all enjoyed are meals. The food was well cooked and arrived in a timely fashion and tasted delicious. The wine list was very good and the Gin menu was brilliant ! It was good value for money and i highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a really enjoyable evening at The Dining Room and can confirm that the food is great and the ambience delightful. The upstairs lounge is wonderful and a great place to relax after a meal. Definitely worth a visit.

We are regular visitors to this great establishment and always enjoy the fine dining and excellent service. It is our first port of call with any excuse for a celebration! Lisa and Chris our hosts, always bring a smile to our faces and their excellent staff members are very attentive and great ambassadors for The Dining Room. I would especially like to mention 'Pippa' who sadly has now moved on to pastures new in Austria. We wish her well.

Do go for the excellent Christmas menu - £21 95 for 2 courses or £24 95 for 3! Pre dinner canapés and delicious homemade bread served with the starters.At this price and quality, this restaurant deserves to be full every night!
