Food and service are excellent We went early evening for their evening special. The choices were very good. We had the tartlet for starters and it was to die for, the pork was excellent, we finished off with the meringue and we were full up

I googled places to eat in Pately Bridge and Im glad I did as I found this little gem. It was like walking into someone's front room on entering the cafe. The couple on the next table were just recieving their dinner steak pie and it looked delicious.I asked them if it tasted as good as it looked they said it was, so we promptly ordered two portions and we weren't disappointed.It was served with either chips or new potatoes, garden or mushy peas plus a rich brown gravy.The meat was melt in the mouth and was just so tasty. Thinking that we couldn't possibly eat another thing, we had a piece each of coffee and walnut cake with a cup of tea and coffee which was just as good. The service from a lovely lady was excellent. We would definitely go again if we came to Pately Bridge what a gem.

Fantastic hostess! Looked after us after a last minute booking and we are so thankful it was available! The room was lovely and the breakfast was proper tasty all washed down with yorkshire tea! Absolute hidden gem

We both ordered the full English breakfasts which came with plenty of toast. Everything was delicious and the coffee was also excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. The cafe was busy when we arrived at 11 am- it’s probably worth booking if you know your plans in advance. We took a slice of chocolate cake away with us and can confirm that it was delightful. Very good value for money- recommended.

Lovely bed and breakfast, the people were very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice, clean, light and airy with a very comfy big bed. The food was amazing. Good location!

A lovely little and intimate restaurant. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. A good selection of well cooked vegetables which is something of a rarity these days. It was a joy to find such good food at very reasonable price in a small town, Shame we were only visiting the area for a short time otherwise we would be frequent visitors

Did not stay here, visited for coffee and cake. Scones were quite nice but came already buttered and I would have liked to have buttered them myself with a little more butter.

We booked for evening meal, promptly served with great food and a nice wine. The staff were friendly and it seems popular with local people. We didn’t stay so can’t comment on the rooms

I am a vegetarian and the menu was really varied. Our lunch was excellent, the coffee was great with friendly staff and efficient service. The whole place was spotless which is really good to see. Great little place and it was really busy too, we will definitely be back.

Best scone and tea I had in a 2-day visit to the Dales. Friendly staff, good prices and seems to be a favourite of the locals: a solid choice.

Beautiful little place, we had breakfast here at the weekend and they were so accommodating, friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. The food was excellent all round and I would highly recommend the all day breakfast. They have high chairs available if you have a little one with you. We also left with two very chunky and very tasty flapjack. This is my new 'go to' place in Pateley Bridge. To top it all off, they are also dog friendly.

The food is really delicious. But the price is a bit expensive for me. Pateley Bridge is a very cute and warm town. I have been here many times. Diners from Taiwan

A brilliant, tiny little gem tucked away down the side street in Pately Bridge, home-made cakes, and delicious freshly prepared food. Burger and chips, proper chips, and handmade burger with proper cheese (not the plastic stuff), other people in party had scampi, jacket potato with lashings of filling and a hearty steak pie. Would recommend and will visit again, hostess was lovely and service was friendly and efficient.

Cafe gorgeous good scrumptious food quite posh but reasonable freshly made really enjoyed visit please pop in its really good value they don’t put price for meals on outside menu which is a pity but great value can’t recommend it enough and a lovely waitress who served thank you for a fabulous experience Xmas good value

Just had a light lunch here... lovely soups and sandwiches plus a cake for afters! All very tasty. Would recommend the carrot cake!

Holidaying once again in the area, we returned here the following year, this time with a black lab puppy in tow. And what a great choice we made once again: super welcome and service, tasty and well-priced food, good ambience and, naturally, dog-friendly. Don't miss the restaurant sign on the left as you walk up the main street - through the arch and just a few steps along. Thank you. We are sure to return.

We didn't stay so my room rate is a guess based on the breakfast which was very nice, cakes looked lovely, clean place with attentive staff.

Didn’t use their accommodation however if the restaurant is anything to go bye, it is worth a visit.

We called over to Pateley for an impromptu visit to show my daughter where her great grandparents had lived and I had visited many times as a child. While there, we decided to grab lunch and stumbled upon The Willow. A really cute little cottage converted into a tearoom/restaurant with a great menu and helpful staff. The food was delicious and plentiful and my daughter was thrilled when she asked if she could have ice cream with sprinkles for pudding and the lady produced ice cream covered in chocolate sprinkles! My husband and I treated ourselves to cakes from the mouthwatering selection and our 10 month old took great delight in helping us eat them. Although there was no designated baby change area the staff were helpful in directing us to and upstairs area where my husband could change our son in privacy. We will definitely call in again if we visit again. Thank you to the staff x

This place blows hot and cold depending on who’s working that day! On a high street with only one cash machine we were informed when we asked for the bill cash only today. Understandable that minimum bill is £10 for card payment credit or cash. Will not be going again.

Stayed at the associated cottage where breakfast was included. Absolutely delicious. Fresh fruit and yogurt followed by full English breakfast or poached eggs or whatever you wish. Can’t fault it. Ate in the restaurant twice in the eve, early bird menu. Three courses £18, home cooked food, piping hot and super tasty.

Had an all day breakfast. Just what you would want. Lots of toast and tea or coffee included . Didn't stay so unable to comment on that. One of the few food places open on a Thursday?

We arrived in Pateley Bridge too early to book into our accommodation. We had a wander around and stumbled across this delightful little restaurant. My husband had a small cooked breakfast whilst I had tea and toast. Ooh, and the latte was delicious with a lovely selection of home baked cakes and bakes.

Most delightful stay at this quaint premises. spotlessly clean with the most accommodating of staff - food was 5 star and very economical

Myself and wife spent four nights in Pateley Bridge. Unfortunately, Willow was not open for the first two. But it was so worth the wait! The early bird menu was excellent value. Under £20 for three courses! The next night, I had Nidderdale lamb; Nothing short of excellent.

Amazing. Fabulous tea rooms with the most delicious all day breakfast perfect for us hungry campers who forgot the tin opener 🙈 Friendly and pretty, lovely staff and other customers. Dog friendly too!

Visited Patley Bridge today with my Dad, came across this little gem called The Willow. We recieved an Awesome friendly service, fantastic full hearty breakfast, friendly happy and helpfull staff, just a pleasure to be here. Thank you ❤️

Angie and I often come here... why? Because, in Pateley Bridge, it is the most consistently good cafe/restaurant, with excellent food at very reasonable prices... and a great location just off the high Street.

Vegan cappuccinos and toasted tea cakes. Yum.

My wife and I had my 80th Birthday evening meal paid for by my daughter , my wife had the 3 coarse meal, cheese tart and salad, Salmon and seasonable vegetables , summer pudding,while I choose the a la carte menu , Yorkshire Pudding and onion gravy, Rack of Lamb (6 cutlets) on a bed pea mash and seasonable vegetable Sticky toffee pudding with fresh cream and ice cream , accompanied with Bottle nor alcoholic wine, 10 stars all round . Well worth a visit. P Briggs chef retired .

Excellent. Dad loved his 80th dinner and said everything was great. He was a chef by trade and that’s high praise from him. Thank you for looking after him. Hopefully I’ll get there soon.

Stayed overnight in an exceptional bright and sunny large twin room. Fridge/fresh milk, beautifully clean and with so many added extras. The breakfast must have be one of the best in a B&B - plentiful with the usual fry up (superb) plus fresh fruit/juice and so many choices all served piping hot with a smile. Would definitely rate this as one of the best B&B i have visited and excellent value.

Not only is Pateley Bridge a beautiful town in the middle of the North Yorkshire Dales but it’s also where the Willow is! Every time me and my partner come over from Germany we always make sure we stop by and see Margaret at the willow for afternoon tea, every single time We thought we knew what afternoon tea was after been to the likes of betties etc but this is worlds apart! Margaret is the friendliest lady you’ll ever meet and the cakes she makes are absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place for a true authentic taste of the British countryside and we are already looking forward to our next visit

Lovely little restaurant in this beautiful town. All three courses were delicious, freshly prepared and served beautifully. I’m stingy with five star reviews but this cosy little restaurant deserves every one of the five. I was in time for the early bird menu and the whole meal was excellent value. I was driving so only had a glass of the house red but it was good. I had summer pudding for desert and it was the best I’ve had in a restaurant; all the flavours of the red berries but not too sweet. It’s not a flash place but spotlessly clean and cosily warm with the log burner.

Excellent quality and value. Everything is fresh and homemade. We had breakfast here and dinner on a Saturday night. Fresh warm mini loaves to begin with were delicious. Some lovely cakes on display too.

What a little Gem this is, I really should not be telling you it exists!!! Haha - the only disappointment will be when you can't get in. But they do takeaway too! But ask nicely!!

Very good service and delicious food. Fortunately we arrived early as it was very popular and most people who came after us were unable to immediately get a seat. Generous portions, friendly staff and nice , quiet atmosphere.

This place is a hidden gem. We were going to get fish and chips nearby but there was a long queue so we wandered up the road and found this amazing place. Warm and welcoming and comfortable. My wife and I both had the scampi and home cut chips with salad and garden peas. When it arrived I was surprised at the portion size, it was a large portion! Very good value for money: around £23 for both of us with two glasses of diet coke too. The food was totally delicious, scampi cooked to perfection. No soggy breadcrumbs here, and no dried up scampi either, just perfectly cooked. The homemade chips were also really tasty. Don't know if we will be back to Pateley Bridge again anytime soon but would love to try more of their menu here if we do. Last, but not least, the service was really nice too. Very friendly and helpful. 11 out of 10 from me.

Stopped off in Pately Bridge looking for lunch on a very sleepy Wednesday. A lot of cafes were closed or didn’t except dogs. The Willow restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. A cute tea rooms serving home made hot meals, cakes, Sandwiches and more. Very friendly staff and the only place we could find that was dog friendly. We had the Yorkshire puddings and home made soup. Both of which were very tasty. And couldn’t resist a cake to finish. Would highly recommend.

Nice quaint place. Always made to feel welcome. Nice brekky while out and about on out motorcycle ride.

Reasonable prices. Clean and tidy cafe with friendly staff. I enjoyed a very generous prawn mayo sandwich. Mum had the soup. My dad tried the large Yorkshire pudding which was on the Specials board. We had to help him eat the plate sized pudding with chipolata sausages and onion gravy! We took 3 slices of cake home.

We were very pleasantly surprised by just how good the food was at this little venue. It is well worth a visit next time you are in Pateley Bridge.

Proper tea room with variety of choices for food, cakes too at reasonable prices, even have lunch value sets. Good portions , n attentive service. Beef pie is yummy. Only tiny flaw n just me being picky is be great if burger buns are toasted or grilled as well.

Dropped in on our last day in the Dales to treat ourselves to a full English and was not disappointed. Run by a young couple the food and quality of ingredients, down to the tea and coffee was top notch. Also great value for money...

We have been over the years to this restaurant. It has been updated and brightened with the welcome just as friendly. We had a meal two nights and coffee and cakes/scones on a couple of morning stops. The food is generous, tasty and well cooked....

Proper freshly made high quality food, the steak pie is absolutely delicious and the all day breakfast is perfect, quality ingredients, good mixed toast selection and proper pot of tea. The selection of cakes has something for everyone and impossible to resist. Portion sizes are great and definitely good value for money.

Fabulous tea rooms tucked away from the hub-bub of the main street. Food was lovely, well prepared and generous portions. We took some cakes home as we were too full to eat them there! Will definitely visit again.

Exceptional breakfast the quality of the food is first class. Starting with fruit salad, yogurt, orange juice and full English with a basket full of toast and many cups of tea. You certainly don't need any lunch.

Nice small tea room, tucked away in an alleyway. Pleasant staff, friendly service. Food a good standard and a nice cuppa. Prices are very reasonable, not very big inside but comfortable enough. Good choice on the menu and someone had a takeaway sandwich whilst we eat in. The giant Yorkshire pudding filled with meat looked great, it was dinner plate size, so really is a giant. I had a bacon sandwich, the wife had cream tea. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Give it a visit, I think you'll be happy enough.

Went to the karaoke night on saturday hosted by the lovely dj Bronwyn.. lovely pub great staff .. freindly service lovely fun surroundings .. top music 100 % praise to bronwyn a lovely lady who made the night fun n welcoming .. enjoyed my karaoke singalong.. keep up the great work white horse your efforts are 100 % greatly received n appreciated
