Have stayed here quite a few times (>30) over the last 3 years, it’s always a pleasure. Jon and staff are always welcoming and friendly. Food is great, rooms are clean and comfortable with WiFi and smart TV’s. Breakfast is really tasty with produce sourced locally which in my opinion is fantastic, local businesses supporting each other. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely warm welcome and exceptional service from friendly staff, nothing too much trouble for two weary walkers. Thank you for making our short stop so memorable. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back.

I cannot comment on the rooms, we only called in for dinner. Parked in the village and walked up to Brimham Rocks. After a nice walk out it was only right that we call into the local public house for a well deserved meal and beer. I will keep it simple... the welcome was polite and friendly, the beer was spot on, the menu, was varied enough, but also not that big to be confusing. The food!!.. perfect!!! We had, Royal oak burger, Hunters Chicken , and slow brazed lamb shank... All meals were fantastic, and for me.. without question some of the best food I have had while out walking in a long time. I will be returning in the future as its well worth a visit.

Good friendly local pub with 3/4 cask ales on and various lagers. Open fire and many TVs for sports viewing.

This was a return visit for Sunday lu ch. Three of has had beef and one of us pork. All meals were absolutely superb. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Value and quality can not be faulted.

Nice old engish pub with nice b&b

A thoroughly enjoyable overnight bubbly break. Outstanding value. Our deal included dinner and the food (cod for me) was excellent. The dining room was quiet, due I think to the large wedding. Staff were welcoming and efficient and looked great in their waistcoats. We will be back, especially their special offer breaks

25 people of retirement age were served with a splendid 3 course lunch from a pre-selected menu. The food was delicious and served by the friendly staff. Elaine & Brian were most helpful with the menu choices and with the organisation of the dining room to seat us all comfortably. Thank you to you all

Absolutely fabulous fish and chips, nothing better than in good weather to sit at the bench and tables outside in the square and watch the world go by

Great Sunday lunch. Food was high quality and there was loads of it. Sadly no room for pudding! Also the service was quick and price was reasonable. The pub was full of character and would recommend.
