Fantastic hotel, great price and excellent food. Liked · An amazing hotel to stay at. Excellent price, super friendly and professional staff. Great location and the breakfast was excellent. The facilities were very good, a very comfy bed and although the bathroom was small, it was extremely clean and modern. Disliked · I wasn't personally affected, and although there is an internal lift, it didn't look like the building was completely step-free.

Ideal location literally can see the Harrogate Convention centre entrance from the window, and the staff were brilliant. Room was quiet and comfy although wasn't perfect, one plug didn't work. And the heating didn't turn off, so it was a bit like a sauna at times on the top floor. I had an attic room, so the low beams were probably a hazard had I stumbled back after a late night, I caught myself on them at least once. If you had accessibility needs, the lift doesn't cover all floors and the car park needs to be prebooked.

The location is very good and within walking distance to the centre . Parking is an issue, you need to rebook the carpark and the spaces are small. We got a parking disc from the hotel and were lucky to find a spot on the road outside. The downstairs of the hotel is modern , the bar and restaurant are clean and inviting. Staff were helpful and quick to serve. There is no lift to the top floor so you have to carry cases up the stairs. The headroom on the top floor going through doors and the stairs is low. If you are above 6ft ask for lower floor or bend down. We were on top floor at the far end in the attic space. The bathroom was modern and shower powerful. There is a sound system on the mirror but I couldn't work it. It wasn't tuning into any stations. The room itself was very basic and a bit run down. The windows are old and you can hear the cars etc outside. The curtains didn't fit the window. There is old wall paper on the beams which spoil the look of the room. The carpet has bumps in it looking like it's moved or damaged. The bed was comfortable, but the room was cold in the night. The food in the restaurant was very nice and portions good. Wine a little over priced for some types. We were disappointed with the room compared with others we have stayed in, but was ok for one night.

I recently booked The Studley Hotel as a special birthday treat for my wife, and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a lovely receptionist, and to our delight, the owner, Ardi, happened to be passing by. He personally welcomed us and even treated us to complimentary drinks, making our stay feel even more special and personal. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of ambience and comfort. The atmosphere is beautifully romantic, perfect for couples seeking a private retreat or those celebrating a special occasion. The first floor is thoughtfully designed with two exquisite dining rooms, private and compartmentalized spaces, a bar, a lounge, and a cozy reception area. It offers a unique balance of privacy and community, making it ideal for intimate dinners or larger celebrations. On the ground floor, the dining experience becomes even more extraordinary. The layout features unique compartmentalized zones, and the kitchen is staffed by an impressive team of ten chefs, each specializing in different cuisines. Whether you're craving Japanese, Italian, French, Chinese, or Portuguese dishes, they cater to every taste with precision and flair. The attention to detail and the variety of culinary options make dining at The Studley truly unforgettable. Ardi, the visionary owner, has also recently taken over The Divino, just a stone's throw from The Studley Hotel. This venue mirrors the elegance of The Studley, offering chilled-out compartments for dining and cocktails across the first and second floors, as well as a private functional area on the ground floor for parties and events. Both The Studley Hotel and The Divino are testaments to Ardi’s dedication to creating spaces that are welcoming, luxurious, and full of charm. Our weekend getaway was nothing short of magical, and I can’t recommend these places highly enough for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a fantastic experience. We will definitely be returning!

Third time visiting to The Studley. Yet again the service we received was top notch. Staff so friendly nothing was too much trouble, from the flowing conversation to just purely looking after us. It’s had a little revamp in the bar area and the restaurant, the rooms will be next apparently. It’s a hotel with everything if the weather isn’t great, down to the welcoming bar and the amazing restaurant The Orchid. This is the best Asian fusion food in my opinion in Harrogate, absolutely delicious. On the whole The Studley never fails to deliver ⭐️ Thank you to the whole team from Andrew and myself. See you next year 😊

You couldn't meet more genuinely friendly and helpful staff! Although the rooms were a little compact, everything was very clean and well presented. Superb location for the beautiful Harrogate and nearby park. We booked in for a meal at the hotel and were blown away at the standard of food and exceptional service. Thank you for making a night away perfect.

We stayed at the Studley Hotel last week as a couples mid week break and had a brilliant time The check in process was smooth and efficient, with really friendly and polite staff. Our room was beautifully decorated, really clean and had everything we could possibly need. We stayed in the executive superior room so we had a kitchenette, extra large bed with a sofa (sofa bed) and large ensuite. The hotel bar, the O bar, is stunning with bright orange decor and it serves really delicious drinks! Our bartender also took our food order as we had a reservation in the restaurant downstairs. Dinner was marvellous, we’ve eaten at the orchid before and never once had a bad meal or a dish we didn’t absolutely love. We took drinks back to our room and I made a hot chocolate with the sachets and milk provided in our kitchenette. It was a totally relaxing evening and topped off by the most comfortable bed! In the morning we were blown away with the quality of breakfast, it definitely matched the orchids evening standards! We will definitely return - this is a fabulous hotel

The staff at this hotel bend over backwards to ensure you receive an efficient, friendly and responsive service. They took in parcels from me ahead of my visit, upgraded me free of charge and supplied portable heaters as my room was a bit cool. Booking a car parking space at the last minute organised without any fuss. The food in the Orchid restaurant was lush, very tasty. I wholly recommend the Studley Hotel. The staff are totally top notch! 🥰

We had a delicious meal here. They had just closed but took pity on us as we’d been driving for hours and served us up what were among the best pizza I’ve ever had. Authentic, family run, friendly- very happy to have experienced this place. Would highly recommend, thanks for looking after us.

Our first time we have had a takeaway so I can only comment on 1 experience but we are from the Midlands, 2 starter’s 1st Fish Pakora really bad 3 pieces of small unseasoned pieces of fish in really soggy batter not nice went in bin. 2nd Sheek Kebab really tasty would love as a main course. 2 Mains 1st Special Jalfrezi, plenty of tasty meat no onions or peppers normally in a Jalfrezi, 2nd Tikka Parthia chicken nice tomatoes not cooked out. Both mains said hot but more mild to medium no spice just tomatoes in Parthia. Keema Nan bread nice but Keema minced lamb wafer thin in the middle. Can’t say if would use again because not sure if the dishes are consistent.

We’ve been as a family a few times lately, the food is always very good but the service has really gone downhill. Starters and main courses not too bad but then been utterly neglected as if we don’t exist! Asking for extra drinks a bit of a problem too, been forgotten more than once. Trying to order a sweet almost impossible we’ve paid and left twice now waiting far too long to be given a sweet menu. A bit of a shame really perhaps more staff, or better management ? Staff rushing around and not noticing a table full of empty plates for almost half an hour and having to ask someone to clear the table is not really good.
