A lovely couple of Sea Bass fillets with proper chips. Exceptionally good friendly service. A really nice busy restaurant.

I had here one of the best pizza’s ever. If you love thin and crunchy base and something different than mozzarella, this is the one! Friendly staff, smooth service. Would have loved to give 5 stars but the bad acoustics bothered me a lot.

The best restaurant in Harrogate! We came to this restaurant last month, we had never been before) we booked for only 4) but then realised we had a bigger party, my brother called to say there would be 4 more guests, they were so understanding and relaxed, happy to accommodate, when we got there , they couldn’t do enough! My sister has 3 little ones, the Staff were so kind and helpful, especially as we were not the easiest table with most of the pizza ending up on the floor with the little one, who loved it, the atmosphere and food was outstanding) so fresh and delicious!! Can’t fault it, 10- out of 10) it’s the best lobster ravioli I’ve ever eaten with sauce so well paired. We love the fact it’s got such a wonderful atmosphere and very family friendly which is so great, we went back there last week there was 13 of us and again incredible food and welcoming atmosphere, with the most wonderful staff who are so attentive and well trained) the quality of the food is also excellent for the price) we will definitely be using this places as a family meet up till now and the future, we so pleased we found you and I can’t recommend it enough. The little way team x

Excellent Italian food, very good service too. We had the seafood pasta which was lovely.

Went for a family meal 6 x group three had linguine all said it was excellent. Three had pizza totally unacceptable at any level, bases where so tough you could hardly cut them and toppings we're at best spread very sparcley and hardly an cheese. Had better from a yellow box tesco pizza Staff excellent, I left feeling completely ripped off as regards to our supposedly authentic Italian restaurant.

The best Food ever. Hubby who is gluten free nothing was too much the free bread olives and tapinard Hubby was brought out 4 slices of gluten free bread to have. He was also able to have a gluten free pizza which was freshly made he was in heaven Me I had a medley of fish with home made fries and a delicious bowl of mixed salad freshly made without any peppers or chillis as allergic to these. We then finished on an alcoholic Italian ice-cream. All staff very friendly and accommodating and reasonable prices

Even if the food was mediocre I'd come here just for the exceptional service! They check on the table often and even when they're busy the food comes out quickly! To top it off, they're unbelievably friendly and warm here. Then, the food is really good. So, it's kind of a perfect spot!

The food was excellent, best Italian I've had outside of Italy.

Went as part of a an organised group so it felt churlish to complain. The pizza was the toughest dough I have ever experienced! It had either been overworked or was too dry! Either way, it was an endurance to eat it and be polite to my host and mask the difficulty of cutting through it! The other diners had lovely meals! Disappointed!

Delicious food and the friendliest staff you will ever meet.

A bit disappointed the actual pasta was a boring shape and I don't think it was homemade, and I believe the sauce included cream (so not the authentic traditional way), but a big portion, so just okay. However, nice that the ciabatta and tapenade is complimentary and quite good. Surprisingly busy for a weekday lunch.

Very good food at a reasonable price

This isn't the place to go if you have allergies. Upon arrival I asked to see the allergen info. Was told they didn't have one!? I informed them that it's the law to provide it. Told me I was wrong: https://www.food.gov.uk/business-guidance/allergen-guidance-for-food-businesses#:~:text=You%20must%20provide%20allergen%20information,customers%20can%20obtain%20this%20information "You must provide allergen information in writing if you sell or provide food to your customers directly. This could be either: full allergen information on a menu, chalkboard or in an information pack". The staff was really friendly though. I can't remember the name of the dish I got, but it was like beef ravioli in a bit of beef stew. 5/10 Partner got mushroom risotto. Was bland and unseasoned, 4/10 Children got pizzas. Can't fault them they were perfect 10/10 All in all I wouldn't go again. Not untill they take allergies and cross contamination seriously.

Group meal out. 2/3 courses and drinks. Generous portion sizes. Attentive service, no pressure to eat up for further seating.

I went with a large group of people, with alot of different dietary needs, which were all catered for appropriately, and it was all delicious. The service was great and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our party compriced of 6 adults & 4 children rangjng from 2yrs - 8, so bit noisy & mad, but the waiters were fantastic, patient , marvellous. Thankyou. Smashing early evening meal. , food fantastic too of course.

Good choice of dishes, and not extortionately priced. Same for the wines. Pizzas' are okay,no more, but some of the main courses are quite good.

One of the friendliest staff group I’ve ever met in a restaurant, flexible service and cozy atmosphere. Free bread and no service charge. Extremely generous with cheese when serving the pasta…High recommend after a long day. Food could be more picky on its ingredients. The mushroom in this pasta’s acceptable but not quite ideal. Favouring is classic but not very impressive.

The food at this place is unreal, unfortunately it can be a bit on the loud side but the food more than makes up for it.

Had a starter and a mains both I couldn't finish, you get a lot of food for not much cost. Really recommended if you are staying at the Premier Inn next door.

Great authentic Italian, yummy food and friendly staff!

My work colleagues and i went there last week we ended up going for two days in a row the food service and the staff were all excellent!

RAVIOLI BRASATO FARFALLINE AGLI SPINACI I arrived early and was greeted with a smile from the host. I had made a special request for the reservation and this was catered for perfectly. Within the first 5 minutes I was made to feel comfortable by the host, greeting me personally and conversing with me about the nature of my meal. I ordered a drink whilst I waited for my co-diner and this was delivered promptly and professionally by the well mannered bar staff. Bread and olives provided for the table, table water offered at the same time as drinks orders were taken. We were attended to regularly throughout our meal. We were both very happy with the food and I found the beef particularly soft and tender and the sauce full of rich flavour. As we waited for the bill we were the last diners in the restroom and we were made to feel very comfortable as a round of limoncello was delivered to the table. Al Bivio have mastered the art of providing a fine-dining, authentic experience while maintaining a discreet family atmosphere. If you are looking for a venue for a birthday dinner, office drinks, nervous first date we would love to recommend Al Bivio. A night to remember.

What a fabulous place to meet and eat with friends and family! A broad menu of genuinely lovingly prepared italian food. The pride of everyone on the staff in their place of work and the quality of the food is evident from the moment you arrive. Customers of all ages are made to feel welcome and there is a constant stream of repeat visitors who seem to be on first name terms with the team. The peperoncini ripieni were a delicious start to the evening, followed by the lightest and crispiest pizza I've had in many a month. Suffice it to say that getting the small things right like excellent ingredients and a passion for their product ends up with something rather special. I shall definitely be returning with family soon!

Excellent food and customer service was outstanding. I came to Harrogate for a three days course and these guys made my stay so enjoyable from day 1 that I ate there everyday. Can't wait to come back!

Went here for 2 nights while working in the area for a week. Obviously, due to going back a second time, I was impressed. Great service, great food, fair price with a nice atmosphere. What else do you need.

We had a wonderful meal here on Friday evening. The food is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were Italian and some didn't have a great command of English but they always got someone else if there was a problem. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and had a great atmosphere. We were in early straight out of an exhibition. By the time we were finished the place was filling and I expect you would need to book. Well worth remembering the next time I visit Harrogate. I would certainly go again.

Stopped here for a family Christmas meal. On the whole a good dining experience. Would recommend.

Great service and food outstanding

This is by far the Best Italian restaurant for miles & miles. Not only the food is Great, the service is impeccable, Daniele & his Team are just Magnificent. Franscesco is truly professional, when you go to a restaurant and you have service of his standard, you would expect all the restaurants to deliver the same, only more often than not it doesn’t happen, being professional at what you do takes passion. We were a group of 9 . I had messed up and booked for the wrong night. The manager couldn't have been nicer and sorted out our table . The food was delicious , very attentive friendly staff . We all loved it . Highly recommend.

First thing you notice when you walk in is the amazing service. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food is delicious homemade Italian, real comfort food, and the portions are very generous. The menu is extensive and they cater for intolerences and vegans. Will go back again and again.

Well the staff were fabulous and the service was very fast on a Friday lunchtime. The portions are massive and such good value for money! I had the Bruschetta and Pasta and I couldn’t finish either. I do feel that the only improvement could be a little more attention to seasoning in the bruschetta - the pasta was super flavourful and had a mild heat which was delightful. The cheesecake desert though? OH just wonderfully sweet and light, with the nicest ice cream I’ve ever had. A well deserved 5*

Party of 4 , I ordered cod with prawns mash and veg . Perfect. Oh no 🙈, what arrived was cod pasta with mushrooms tomatoes. No prawns no mash and a story about how the chef was trying something new. I asked for the prawns that should have been on the dish . They arrived tasteless and a poor effort. The (Manager I presume) came over and said the meal is half price as it’s an old recipe and the chef has been off and didn’t realise the menu had changed. Ok so for a food allergy this could be fatal, it’s the worst mistake that could have been made. We were never asked if anyone had allergies they just gave us food that contained ingredients that were not on the chosen menu . I was told it’s a mistake!!! It’s a dangerous mistake!! Let’s hope they learn from this and it never happens to anyone who has a life threatening allergy. For me and my friends we won’t be trying a second time . The food my friends had was delicious but unfortunately the allergen procedure in very below par .

Slow service..no breakfast menu..seems to be nicer to regulars than anyone else...would not reccomend.

Just been here for a birthday meal for my sons birthday with all the family. What a fabulous experience. Food was fantastic and staff were so friendly and superb service. It’s on our doorstep and will now make it no 1 choice can’t believe we have left it so long to go back! Forget your town centre restaurants this is amazing! Thank you guys for a lovely evening we will be back soon.

Pasta dish was very nice but pizza was bland and difficult to cut. The main issue is that the restaurant is very noisy because of the hard surfaces and reverberation problems, so it's a bit like eating in a school canteen. Not for me....

Good Italian place if you are in the South side of Harrogate.

We popped in here for a meal in the evening. The staff were very efficient and helpful. When we were leaving they opened the emergency exit, as I am disabled, to make leaving easier.

Visiting Harrogate found this restaurant , the lady helped us with the menu, had a superb meal it's a shame we don't live locally so we could visit again. Highly recommended 👌

Never disappoints. We love Al Bivio. Service is amazing and the food is even better. They are always so good with the children too. Can't recommend this place enough.

Pretty good menu, although some of the pasta dishes are a bit too similar to each other. Nice restaurant environment and good wine selection.

I dined here on Easter Monday with my 3 kids and we loved it! My 8 year old described it as 'exceeding all expectations'. The children's menu offered very generous portions and great value. The signature pizza I had was delicious. Service was attentive without being annoying. Best meal out we have had for a while.

Fantastic food and service treated my wife and I and our two friends like royalty.
