Excellent breakfast, great staff and the perfect location in the centre of Harrogate. A new regular for us!

The Farmhouse Cafe in Harrogate left us extremely disappointed due to their lack of flexibility in catering to smaller appetites due to medical conditions. We asked if we could order from the “mini adults” menu, only to be told that it wasn’t possible because “we don’t pay VAT.” This reasoning felt unreasonable and unaccommodating, particularly as smaller portions would suit a variety of customers better. It’s a shame because a little more understanding would have greatly improved the experience and unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Great experience and fantastic food. We booked in advance and so pleased we had as other groups were being turned away when we arrived. It didn’t take long to order and receive our food, however the service seemed a little stretched due to how busy they were and we could see that food was being left on the pass for longer than it probably should have been. This also meant that my second coffee I’d ordered never made it to the table before we were ready to leave. I’ve still given 4 stars as our food was fantastic and overall service acceptable. Would definitely recommend and would certainly return the next time we’re in Harrogate.

We go to Farmhouse frequently. The best breakfast choices in both quality & options. Service is always good, food hot & never rushed.

A lovely family restaurant, the food is very good, everything from eggs royal/Benedict, burgers, pasta and all sorts of food! Very clean, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially a sous chef Trinity and manager Serena. Highly recommend this place for any celebration!

Really good food and friendly, efficient service. Only quibble would be the portions are way too big and it would be great if there was an option for a small or large portion.

The steak was delicious, with rice or sweet potato sticks. Thw sweet menu is awesome. This place is definitely in our revisit list . Really like it. Parking was easy just in the street in front of the restaurant.

Booked a table for 11:45. Guess what no table free. Had to wait 20 minutes. Not good

After a worrying appointment at Harrogate Hospital my mum and I decided to treat ourselves. So happy we chose Farmhouse. Lovely welcoming staff, scrumptious food and so great to see a place so busy and buzzing. Took our minds off the real world for a whole hour and a half. It was more than brunch it was a warm hug so thank you ♥️

Went for brunch and had the breakfast meat burrito and a veggie version with tatter tots. Both were amazing, along with excellent service. This place always delivers but you should always book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Went here yesterday for lunch with my mum and it was truly wonderful! As a server myself, the staff were almost inspiring. The lady who served us at the door seated us promptly and enthusiastically, ensuring to let us know about the specials and make sure we had a comfortable booth seat. She was very friendly and truly provided great service - as did the other members of staff who checked us out and cleared our table. The food itself was HUGE!! Certainly a challenge to finish everything but well worth it. Great value for the price, as well! Hope to come again soon x

Consistent, quality and cool What more do you need

A decent meal was soured by the poor customer service on paying the bill. On taking payment there was zero eye contact from the waitress, nor did she ask me how my meal was or say anything at all for that matter. All she did was type the amount due into the card machine before holding it up to show me how much I needed to pay. Intentional or not, it was a needlessly rude way to treat a customer and was a sour note to end on.

As a first-time visitor, I found the food tasty, good portions, and great value. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's not too noisy, enabling good conversation at the table.

Vegan full breakfast was amazing...tasty, filling and just delicious. Highly recommended

Came for a birthday lunch today with my sister. The food was incredible. Took so long to order because I couldn’t decide what to choose. Everything sounded amazing. We got a free glass of fizz for my birthday ( it was delicious)! The service was also 10/10. Thankyou for a lovely lunch! Can’t wait to come back

Had a lovely family meal for 8, including 3 toddlers. Plenty of choice from the menu.

This place is brilliant. The food is delicious, especially the flapjack. Simple but appealing menu for brunch and lunch. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming .The staff friendly. Dogs made very welcome. A perfect remedy for dull autumn days and a great example of a local business .

Amazing lunch, visited as group of four for lunch. It was busy but they had a table available and were seated quickly. Staff very helpful with menu. Food was absolutely wonderful, great portion sizes and good selection of drinks available. Service was great and all staff very friendly and helpful Would definitely visit again

Really impressed. The All American breakfast and Cherry Bakewell mocktail were awesome. Couldn't recommend this place highly effort. Left feeling like they'd have to roll me out like Voilet Beauregard.

Meeting a friend for breakfast every Sunday and this was the first time we'd been to Farmhouse . It was the most expensive. We were served scramble that looked like omelette ie overcooked and having sat down at 0940 we were being asked to hurry up and vacate our table before 11am. The restaurant is noisy, chat echoes. It was ok but there are definitely better places to go

Had the breakfast and it was huge.

We love it here. The first time I went, i had the fish tacos, and I thought about them for 4 days afterwards. Have recommended it to so many people and will continue to do so. Good idea to book on a weekend. Staff are all over it. Make sure you check the specials menu when you go. You should go.

Never disappoints and the team are always really lovely and attentive.

Have been there a few times now - both socially and for corporate meets with dog in tow no less, and every time service and food has been excellent. A great range including veggie and gluten free options and prices ranging from fairly cheap to normal, so you won't break the bank. Atmosphere can be a bit hit and miss in that unless you get a booth, you are out in the crowd so can be a but noisy and not as private, but overall, with the friendly faces serving you, that is easily overcome. The only other tiny niggle is after all done, takes while for the bill to come - but really, this is an issue only if you are looking for a speedy getaway - for those not wanting to rushed away, that is perfect :)

Fantastic service, polite and interested staff. Food was absolutely delicious! Some of the best eating we have had out in a while. And at such a reasonable price. We will absolutely be back for more! So much on the menu we want to try.

We booked on a Saturday afternoon knowing it would be busy, but it was even busier than expected. We waited a little while but the service and food was still exceptional! Farmhouse is still one of our favourite brunch spots!

We always have a good time when we visit. The food was excellent. We were served by young chap who was on his third day - he was polite, chatty, confident and very efficient. The overall experience was good - it would have been nice to have had some background music playing to enhance the experience but this did not detract from the food or service which were both great 😁

Absolutely bangin. I'd rate this 6 stars if I could. Had a veggie breakfast burrito and Korean chicken. Portions were massive and and really well paired with extras. Staff were lovely and even the tunes were good. Would defo recommend.

Farmhouse is one of my favourite places for brunch in Harrogate. The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is banging. I love it but I would say it can get quite loud when it's busy so if you're wanting a more chilled out experience maybe go at less busy times.

Came for breakfast 9.15 am Sunday.. half a dozen people in when we ordered so not busy.. food came quick but was cold.. sausages under cooked.. eggs no taste..very pale yolks.. the poached eggs tasted of vinegar and cold.. we're regulars here but it's no where near as good as it was.. very disappointed...

We booked for 1pm and our order was taken by 1:10, the food never turned up until 1:50, both meals we ordered was cold and I had a raw poached egg. We have been here a few times and always enjoyed it but today was so below par. During our service wait I reckon there were at least 10 deliveroo deliveries went out, I believe this was the reason for the ridiculous wait for our food, however for the food to be less than warm is totally unacceptable and so was the meagre 10% discount offered

Food was amazing and really good portion sizes. When we arrived at 9:50 we were told there was a booking later on so they would need the table back at 11:15 which is absolutely fine with us we don’t tend to spend hours over breakfast. At 10:25 the minute we had put our fork on the plate it was taken away by the waitress - fine quick service no issues with this. However we still had drinks left to finish and the bill and card machine was brought immediately after clearing without us asking for it and without any acknowledgment of if we wanted anything else. My husband was finishing his coffee and the server was back again at 10:31 and told us she needed to clear everything because there was another table due in a couple of minutes. No issue with the tables being needed for bookings but don’t tell people a time and then 45 minutes early start hovering and rushing them to leave when we had drinks left to finish. I don’t appreciate this rushed service for a £52 breakfast!

Fantastic Breakfast Experience at Farmhouse My mum and I recently had breakfast at Farmhouse, and it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious, definitely the best I've had in a while. We were particularly impressed with how quickly the food arrived, despite the restaurant being busy. We were looked after by Matt, and some lovely girls but I didn’t get their names. The service was outstanding. Matt checked on us regularly to make sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Farmhouse has become one of our favourite places to go, and we can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for great food and excellent service, this is the place to be!

I ordered an American breakfast, and I chose a poached egg on side, but the poached egg was so strong vinegar favoured……….. And my husband ordered a beef burger, that not bad…. But I think that if using a brioche buns to replace a burger buns would be more more better. Anyway, good service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A brilliant brunch and my first time at Farmhouse, but it won’t be the last. We went at the busiest time of the week (probably) and they did a good job of staying on top of the demand. All of the food was great. If I had to offer some helpful constructive input I’d suggest getting rid of some of the “polite notice” signs and fixing the underlying problems or at least make a proper sign.

It is not suitable for children and the years are very dark. Food quality price is not applicable.

Food was fantastic, massive breakfasts and the pancakes were awesome as well, so I was told. Great service and absolutely packed on a Saturday so best to book a table.

We booked a table for 5 plus a highchair. The table was ready for us on arrival & we were greeted by friendly staff. The menu has all sorts to cover all tastes. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful & hard working, nothing was too much trouble. Then the food came...WOW! Presented beautifully, exactly as it's said on the menu. Good portions, tasty & just perfect. It was our first time but most definitely not our last visit. Thank you for such a lovely brunch with our friends, family & godson that's had come to visit us for a few days.
