Orderd on the click and serve feature for the first time. Arrived around half an hour later and pressed the "I'm here" button, followed the instructions on the app which was to park in a spot near the shop and turn on your hazard lights, waited 15 mins and no one had brought us our drinks, we could see it wasn't very busy so waited another 5 and thought it was getting a bit ridiculous just for 2 drinks so decided to go in and was told they can't give the click and serve orders in person! I didn't bother waiting any longer after waiting for 20 minutes so just went elsewhere...
Ordered a beef sunday roast, Unfortunately, the first time it arrived, the whole meal was cold. Reordered my meal and asked for some 'hot: gravy as I was worried that I would have to send it back again.
Still not hot, but I was hungry. When asked how my food was I mumbled that it was okay.
The service staff was sympathetic and knocked a little bit off the bill.
Unsure that I would go back.
Sarah was really rude to me, it’s a shame as she was nice to what appears to be a regular customer, but as I approached the counter she didn’t greet me, then I asked for my drink and a chocolate twist.
She stood without saying a word and stared at me. So I asked if I could use my Costa card, she seemed annoyed by this.
I scanned my card where I had a free drink but it didn’t deduct so I asked her why it didn’t show and she proceeded to tell me they are franchised by Odeon and rolled her eyes as if I should know this. I paid for my things and waited for my drink. She did not say Thankyou or wasn’t remotely friendly.
Such a shame as my home Costa is so friendly and warm!
My soup came in a cardboard cup like a take out and one slice of very thin bread not good for £6.95! Toasted sandwiche was of poor standard the bread, ham and cheese were all too thin. The cake wasn’t as fresh as it could have been, and the coffee was warm. All in all poor value quantity and quality, such a contrast to the great food we had at Gloucester Cathedral cafe the following day. Proper soup bowls used there and great quality and quantity. Safe to say we will definitely not be returning!!
Telephoned order through at 6.25 pm & was told that it would take 15- 20 mins for order to be ready. Order was not ready when I went to collect at 6.40 pm & was still waiting for order at 7pm. Politely asked why the delay as customers were placing orders at the counter & receiving theirs before me. Was told they were just doing mine & apologised. Think they had forgot to do my order. Eventually received my order at 7.10 pm a wait time of 45 mins. Was not happy. Would have been quicker to request a delivery from another Chinese which I will do in the future.
The best brownies I have had so far, for sure this are made in house and the smell it’s incredible.
Also very good Coffe by a lad that likes to take he’s time. Next time will try the focaccia we seen a table next to us and it look lush
The lady working behind the bar at the Tiki room was extremely rude. We had booked a table for my friend's birthday, hoping to enjoy the cocktails and have a lovely experience, however the bartender was very rude and upset all of us, even causing two of my friends to cry. She had accused my friend of not paying, when she had previously said that she could put it on a bar tab. She approached our table and was being verbally aggressive towards us. She then accused another friend of calling her a 'bitch,' which did not happen. She approached this friend and started shouting in her face, demanding an apology. We drank the cocktails we had bought and immediately left. I was really looking forward to spending the evening at the Tiki Room but sadly, this lady ruined our experience.
Pubs being aesthetic is something I love and that is exactly what you can expect from here.
Me and my friends came to visit this pub, as the weather is getting better. It has a huge beer garden which was rather shocking for me as the pub looks smaller from the outside. The garden is really cute and aesthetic, especially at night when lit up. There are dogs allowed inside and outside of the pub which is great if you’re a god lover.
The wine i purchased was lovely and the pricing of the drinks were too. There was entertainment during our visit too as the pub has lots of games such as chess, checkers, bat gammon and other board games. This was a great touch and made our experience even better.
Lastly, the staff at this bar were so pleasant. They were all very happy and friendly, not just with the customers and myself but with each other which gives the pub a warm feel. They did their jobs excellently further brightening our evening.
A must try pub!
I have been coming here for 5 years and can honestly say it is the best place to grab a coffee and something light to eat in Worcester.
It is incredibly family-friendly and the menu has something for everyone from children's beans on toast to substantial toasties perfect for Lunch. There is also an impressive choice of drinks on offer. The homemade cakes and bakes always look delicious, it would be rude not to have one (even at 9 am after breakfast).
The service is always fantastic and friendly and it feels like you're going to a friend's house to enjoy some good food and relax.
The play area is great for smaller children with a nice selection of books and games to keep them busy.
It's very reasonably priced and I believe one of the best value independent places in Worcester.
An excellent takeaway meal for both of us. Lovely and hot and very fresh.very polite delivery man. Thank you. Chicken curry and boiled rice and special chow mein and a large pancake roll. All delicious
