Had great experiences with this takeaway in the past but tonight was awful. I ordered on Deliveroo at 17:30, with the estimated delivery time being 18:00. At 18:30 it hadn’t arrived, so I contacted Deliveroo who tried to ring them twice but couldn’t get through to them. The food didn’t come until 19:15, just when I was about to give up and order another takeaway. I had to be up for work at 3am the next day so didn’t really appreciate this - I was planning on being in bed by that time. I’d forgive them if it was a little late, but this was 1 hour and 15 minutes late on a Wednesday night. Not sure why they’d set an expected delivery time if they can’t stick to it. There was no apology whatsoever from the delivery driver and not even an acknowledgement that he was late. I ordered my balti medium spice and there was no spice in it at all. It’s a shame as this used to be my go-to Indian to order from but don’t think I’ll be ordering again after this. No one likes to be waiting around for over an hour when they’re hungry.

Came here with a friend and it was lovely. I had the espresso glazed donut and it was really yummy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Would come again!

A centrally placed hotel with very comfortable beds and a great breakfast, £12.50 extra. Our room 22 was a bit tired , especially the bathroom which had cracks in the wall with paint peeling off. A large crack in basin, would have asked for a change of room but we had unpacked by the time we saw it. Quite noisy as bin wagon came down at 6.30am and Friar street was busy. Staff very friendly and bar area was pleasant. Only in room for short time so didn’t really spoil our stay. Car park convenient next door but £11 for overnight so pricey if staying for a while.

Sausage buttie inedible. Dry, stale bread, cold sausage. Tuna toastie greasy and chewy. Both very unpleasant.

Food took nearly an hour to come out, and plate was so hot it burnt one of the groups hand. That said the food was tasty and the service was friendly

Seriously a lovely lunch, 10/10 , food was really good . Piping hot .it’s probably one of the best pub lunches I’ve had in ages . The staff were very friendly. A wonderful experience .

we've been coming here for years and have dined in plus collected/had delivery many times. we walked here after a disappointing experience on my dad's birthday at 'Aurora's Experience' down the road, where we weren't served for a long time so we left and hoped that Rajkot could squeeze us in, which they did happily. we had a delicious, piping hot meal, plus the service from the staff was phenomenal. they were kind enough to light the candles on a birthday cake i had brought with me for my dad, and joined us in singing him happy birthday. we were so full that we took our leftovers home, and of course they are as good (if not better) heated up the next day. highly recommend for a traditional curry house experience with friendly staff and a huge variety of food choices :)

Awful service received, missing items from delivery. Bad attitude from phone staff. Over 40mins wait for items missing.

Amazing food, great value for money. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. Leanne the manager was very helpful and gave me great advice on the best meal to have.

Great selection of beers and they let me bring outside food in.

Very nice and quiet place for a good coffee!
